May 3rd, 2009 Myst - The CWA has few events as grand as that which you are about to witness. This ring will be the center of the action in Boston four hours from now. Yesterday, the fans here in Boston were treated to a match between two men deciding the next number one contender. Let's see who emerged victorious. We fade from Myst to the same ring, but with an arena filled to the rafters and the ring now fully lit.
"Hell's Bells" by AC/DC plays as Max Cameron makes his way onto the stage and he receives a mixed reaction from the crowd. He stands on stage and takes in the atmosphere for a moment before he makes his way down the ramp towards the ring. He then rolls himself under the bottom rope into the ring and then slowly gets to his feet before looking back and forth nervously. He then paces inside the ring while his music fades and then we hear "Voices" by Rev Theory and Malk makes his way onto the stage where he receives a much warmer reception. Malk then runs down the ramp to ringside and then jumps up onto the ring apron where he starts having words with Max Cameron. He then steps through the ropes into the ring and referee Steve Blake calls for the bell to officially start the match. Ricky Simms - This is a CWA first as we tape this match on Saturday for a Sunday broadcast. Henry Lesher - It's classy how this company is charging them to watch it, too. Malk and Max lock up in the center of the ring. Max then backs Malk to the ropes where the referee asks for a clean break. Max backs off and Malk slaps him across the face. Malk then gives max an inverted atomic drop followed by a headbutt that sends Max down to the mat. Malk then gives Max an elbow to the throat and then goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Malk. Max then stands Malk up, whips him off the ropes and then gives him a backdrop to the mat before Malk goes to the ropes. Malk reaches the top and goes for a flying elbow smash on Max, but max manages to roll out of the way and then he stands himself up. Ricky Simms - Good start to this one. Henry Lesher - I just want this over. I mean, this is what I got up early on a Saturday for? Do you know what I do on Saturday? Ricky Simms - No idea. Henry Lesher - I do nothing and it's more fun than this. Max kicks Malk in the ribs, then stands him up, whips him into the corner buckle and then gives him a shoulder block in the corner. Max then picks Malk up and slams him down to the mat before he climbs to the second rope in the corner. Max then leaps off and lands an elbow to the back on Malk. Max then picks Malk up over his shoulder and starts to run him into the corner, but Malk slips off Max's shoulder and then rams him face first into the corner buckle. Malk then picks Max up and slams him to the mat and then kicks him in the ribs a few times while the fans cheer. Malk then stands Max up and whips him through the ropes and out to the floor before he follows after. Malk stands max up and whips him shoulder first into the steel corner post and then headlocks him before giving him a bulldog to the floor. Malk then stands Max up, rolls him into the ring and then does the same himself before going for the pin. 1...2... Max gets a foot on the bottom rope. Ricky Simms - That was close. Henry Lesher - I should be sitting at home and staring at my ceiling. I would enjoy that. Malk stands max up, whips him off the ropes and then gives him a clothesline to the mat. Malk then lands a knee drop to the forehead on Max and again goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Max Cameron. Malk stands max up, whips him into the corner buckle and then misses with a shoulder block as Max side steps it. Max then rolls Malk into a school boy for the pin attempt. 1...2... kick out by Malk. Max then stands Malk up, whips him off the ropes and both men dropkick one another before landing in a tangled heap on the mat. The referee starts counting them both down while the crowd starts a chant for Malk. On the four count, Malk manages to get to his hands and knees. Max does the same at six and then they start trading punches. Max eye gouges Malk and then give him a headbutt. Max then gets to his feet and kicks Malk in the chest. He then stands Malk up and whips him into the corner buckle and then he goes for a running shoulder block, but Malk steps out of the way and slams Max shoulder first into the turnbuckle and then he gives Max a pump handle slam to the mat before going for the pin. 1...2... Max kicks out and then rolls himself out to the floor. Ricky Simms - Both men really want that chance to be the number one contender, though Malk will also get a chance to be the champ tomorrow night. Henry Lesher - Yeah, he won't win anything in that. He's Malk. I mean, look at him. He's Malk. Malk rolls himself out to the floor and takes a knife edge chop from Max, but then gives Max a knee lift to the ribs. Malk then picks Max up and slams him to the floor. Malk then stands Max up and rolls him into the ring before doing the same himself. Malk then stands Max up, sets for and delivers a vertical suplex on him. Malk then stands over Max and signals that he is ready to end this. Malk stands Max up and Max gives Malk a jawbreaker before he then rolls Malk into a small package, Max with one foot under the bottom rope for added leverage. 1...2...3! Max gets the win as the referee didn't see Max's foot hooked on the rope to prevent Malk from kicking out. Max rolls himself out of the ring and heads over to the announce table and poses in front of Henry Lesher. Ricky Simms - He never forgets you, Doc. Henry Lesher - He's impressive for a diva, I guess. Max grabs Henry Lesher around the throat as we then hear "Downfall" by Trust Company and Tommy Purr comes out onto the stage with a microphone in his hand and he receives a loud ovation from the fans. Tommy Purr - Leave your grudge with the good doctor alone now, Max. Save your energy for tomorrow night. You're going to need it. We'll see then whether or not you're all hype and no substance. Max releases Lesher and heads off to confront Tommy. Henry Lesher - *in a strained voice* Max sucks, that is all. Ricky Simms - He's the new number one contender after this event is done. Henry Lesher - I have made my opinion known. Max stands nose to nose with
Tommy and they argue back and forth before we slowly dissolve to
tonight's action and away from New York to Boston where we begin the
road to crowning the CWA champion. Neriah Sweet - Welcome to Boston! Seven matches are what it takes to become champ and the new General Manager is personally calling this one. I am Neriah Sweet here with Scavenger to call the action from the Big Apple. Scavenger - Yeah, no Doctor Doom here tonight. The first two doors open and it's Bombshell and Frank Merritt starting the match. Frank smiles as he takes a step towards Bombshell. He lunges at her and she ducks out of the way and then grabs Frank around the waist and goes for the takedown. Instead, Frank elbows Bombshell in the face and then picks her up and gives her a belly to belly suplex to the mat. Frank then stands her up, whips her off the ropes and misses with a heart punch as she ducks it and then she lands a standing dropkick on Frank which staggers him backward. Bombshell then lands a handspring back elbow to the chin on Frank and then she goes for a monkey flip, but he shoves her to the mat instead and then he starts putting the boots to her. Neriah Sweet - Bombshell is really overmatched here. Scavenger - Well, yeah but Frank is an ego freak. That makes him vulnerable. Trust me. I know. Frank stands Bombshell up, whips her off the ropes and then gives her a backdrop to the mat. Frank then measure her and gives her an elbow to the throat and then goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Bombshell. Frank then stands Bombshell up and whips her out through the ropes and onto the steel surrounding the ring. He steps out onto the steel himself and grabs Bombshell by the hair before he stands her up. Bombshell spits in Frank's face and then slams his head into the steel side of the chamber repeatedly while the fans cheer. Bombshell then gives Frank a side Russian leg sweep to the steel which appears to injure both of them. The referee starts counting them both down, though Paulie appears to be trying to help Frank up. We then hear the count down to the next door opening and the fans cheer. It reaches zero and it's Sal Clemenzo who is next into the match. Sal charges out of his chamber and clotheslines Frank to the steel and then he picks Frank up and runs him face first into the wall of the chamber before he slams him to the steel and then goes for the pin. 1......2...... Frank tolls a shoulder out after a very slow count by Paulie. Sal then has words with Paulie and appears ready to strike the referee. Neriah Sweet - Paulie is working as a distraction to Sal here and they have some history. Scavenger - Sal needs to focus or he'll be down faster than Charlie Haas. Bombshell gets to her feet and goes for a roundhouse kick to the head on Sal. He ducks it and she kicks Paulie in the face instead, sending him down to the steel in a heap. Drina shouts to ring announcer Kosmic Kitty about this and then she runs over to the timekeeper and rings the bell herself. Kosmic Kitty then announces that Bombshell has been disqualified for contact with the referee. Neriah Sweet - Clearly she was trying to hit Sal there. Scavenger - Bombshell is out, but so is Paulie. I don't think Sal will be crying about that turn of events. Bombshell reluctantly exits the chamber and then she starts chasing Drina which draws cheers from the crowd. Security team members, however, grab Bombshell from the other side of the guard railing and they pull the volatile blonde away from Drina. Bombshell screams that this isn't over as two members of the security team drag her out into the crowd. Inside the cage, Sal stands Frank up and takes an eye gouge from Frank. Frank then picks Sal up and slams him to the steel before he stands on his chest for a few moments. Frank then steps off, stands Sal up and rakes his eyes along the top rope before he dumps him through the ropes into the ring. Frank then goes to the corner buckle and climbs to the top rope. Sal stands and Frank launches himself for a double axe handle. Sal instead dropkicks Frank before he hits the mat and both men crumple to the mat while the countdown clock begins again. The fans again count down and the next man into the match is Gary Barber. Neriah Sweet - Barber enters this match now and one has to wonder if Frank is wearing down. Scavenger - The lack of brain helps Frank deal with this. He can't count or tell time, so he has no clue what's going on or how long he has been in there. The Hulk has more complicated thought patterns. Gary Barber charges into the ring and he starts giving boots to both Sal and Frank. Gary then stands Frank up, whips him into the corner buckle and then gives him a German suplex to the mat before going into a back bridge for the pin attempt. 1...2... kick out by Frank Merritt. Gary then stands Frank up and whips him into the corner buckle and then charges straight into a clothesline from Frank. Frank then gives Barber an elbow smash to the chest and then hooks the leg for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Barber. Sal is on his feet now and he measures Frank and then gives him a kick to the head. Sal then gives Frank a bulldog to the mat and rolls him over for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Frank. Paulie is finally on his feet again and he steps into the ring, rubbing his sore jaw as he staggers about. Sal stands Frank up, whips him off the ropes and ducks his head for a backdrop. Frank instead knees Sal in the face and then gives him a gutwrench suplex to the mat and then goes for the pin. 1.2.3! Quick count by Paulie and Sal has been eliminated which draws loud boos from the crowd. Neriah Sweet - Well, as your brother would say, the fix is in. Scavenger - That's crap. Come on now! Paulie just robbed Sal in the first of six matches to decide who faces off in the final tonight. This is disgusting. Wyatt may have been an idiot, but he wasn't a total crook. Frank stands and starts trading punches with Gary Barber while Sal jumps to his feet and he has words with the referee. Paulie points to the open door to the chamber and Sal considers hitting Paulie, but he relents and then he turns and walks away with a cocky grin on his face. The door slams behind Sal and it's locked. Sal nods and then picks Drina up and places her over his shoulder. He then is seen smiling as she flails about to try and get away while Paulie protests inside the chamber. Sal tells the camera Paulie stole something from him, so turnabout is fair play. Meanwhile, Frank catches Gary with a knee to the gut and then sets for a vertical suplex which Gary blocks and then he gives Frank a suplex to the mat. Gary then stands Frank up, whips him off the ropes and then gives him a lariat back down to the mat. The countdown starts again and the fans count along. Gary picks Frank up and slams him to the mat and then gives him an elbow smash across the throat. The next man into this match is JC Michaels and the crowd boos. JC rushes into the fray and he and Gary both put the boots to Frank Merritt. Neriah Sweet - Well, now the EVC members get to pick off Frank here, a guy who has been in this match from the start. Scavenger - Hey, these guys feed on matches like this. This whole set up favors them as they are the only allies that there are. If they can work together, they have an excellent chance to square off in the finals tonight. Gary and JC stand Frank up and then they whip him through the ropes and onto the steel structure of the chamber. They then step out of the ring and JC then whips Frank face first into the steel side of the cage. He then gives Frank a DDT to the steel and rolls him over for the pin. 1....2... Frank rolls a shoulder out. The fans cheer as they have suddenly become Merritt supporters. JC shakes his head and stands Frank up. Frank thumbs JC in the eye and then gives Gary a clothesline to the steel. Frank then goes for the pin on Gary. 1...2... kick out by Gary Barber. Frank then crawls back into the ring and uses the ropes to slowly get to his feet while JC and Gary get to their feet on the steel. They then step back into the ring. Frank kicks Gary in the ribs and then starts punching both men in the head before he rams their heads together which draws a loud cheer from the fans. Neriah Sweet - The fans are actually cheering for Frank now. Scavenger - Well, the EVC has said a lot of things and the fans have heard them. Frank picks JC up and power slams him to the mat and then rolls out of the way of an incoming knee drop from Gary. Gary's knee hits JC in the forehead instead. Frank then gives Gary a bulldog to the mat and then boot chokes him, using the ropes for leverage while the fans cheer the monster of the CWA on. JC slowly gets to his feet behind Frank and then charges at him. Frank side steps his charge and rams him shoulder first into the corner buckle and then gives him a German suplex to the mat, stands him up and delivers another. He stands him up for another only to have his feet swept out from under him by Gary Barber and JC lands on top of Frank instead. JC stands stands Frank up, whips him off the ropes and he and Gary give him a double dropkick to the mat. JC then picks Frank up into a bearhug while Gary climbs the ropes in the corner. Gary then launches himself off the top and gives Frank a vicious kick to the jaw out of JC's arms and down to the mat where JC goes for the pin. 1...2...3! Frank Merritt has been eliminated! Neriah Sweet - How in the world are these guys going to have the energy for six matches tonight before even reaching the finals? Scavenger - Never underestimate a man's drive to ne number one, Neriah. Neriah Sweet - What about Bombshell? Scavenger - The jury's out on her, the chair tells me. Paulie signals that Frank is out of the match and that leaves Gary and JC nose to nose. They have a few words and we expect a fight may break out between them, but they both step back and agree to work together to win this match. They shake hands and the fans boo loudly while Paulie orders them to fight one another. JC folds his arms across his chest and glares at Paulie while Gary shakes his head and asks where in the contract it stated that they had to hit one another at this point. The stand off is the interrupted as the countdown starts again. Paulie shouts something through the chamber to the timekeeper and the spotlight then shines on both Malk and Moose which means that they are both being sent into this match at the same time. Neriah Sweet - Paulie didn't like the EVC's attitude there, so now the numbers are even. Scavenger - Well, if Malk and Moose can work together. The chair tells me Malk isn't all there. Neriah Sweet - Wow, I don't know where to start with that one. I really don't. Malk charges into the ring and spears JC to the mat while Moose starts trading rights and lefts with Gary Barber. Moose then picks Gary up and slams him to the mat before giving him an elbow smash to the throat. Malk picks JC Michaels up and tosses him out of the ring and onto the steel. Malk then climbs to the top rope and then leaps off and gives JC a double axe handle smash to the back. Inside the ring, Moose picks Gary up over his shoulder and then runs him face first into the corner buckle. Moose then gives Gary a power slam to the mat and hooks the leg for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Gary Barber. Malk, meanwhile, rams JC face first into the steel side of the chamber and then he gives him a clothesline to the steel before going for the pin. 1...2... kick out by JC as Moose stands Gary up and whips him off the ropes. Gary ducks a clothesline and then gives Moose a knee to the gut and then gives him a DDT to the mat. Gary then picks Moose up and slams him to the mat. Outside the ring, Malk stands JC up and takes a jawbreaker from JC who then clotheslines Malk to the steel. JC then goes to the ropes and climbs to the top. Gary Barber places Moose in a Boston Crab and JC leaps off the top rope and delivers a leg drop to the back of the neck on Moose. Referee Paulie La Cerva checks on Moose and calls for the bell before making the "X" signal to the back. Neriah Sweet - My God, the EVC aren't messing around and Moose has been eliminated here. Scavenger - I know that's within the rules, but come on. That's slimy right there and it cost Moose the match. Now Malk is on his own against Gary and JC. JC and Gary nod towards one another and then head out of the ring after Malk. Gary stands Malk up and takes a low blow from Malk who then gives JC a thumb to the eye before he kicks JC in the gut and then runs him face first into the steel side of the chamber. Malk then picks Gary up and uses him as a battering ram into JC before giving him a power slam to the steel. Malk then gets to his feet and ducks a clothesline from JC before giving him a kick to the back. Malk then whips JC through the ropes and into the ring. Malk goes to the corner buckle and makes his way to the top while Gary Barber is seen signaling a fan at ringside. The fan steps over the railing and it turns out to be Eternity. He hands a crow bar to Gary Barber. Neriah Sweet - Eternity is here? Scavenger - The odds just went from tough to impossible for Malk here. Malk leaps off the top rope and gives JC Michaels a flying elbow to the chest. Gary Barber then steps through the ropes into the ring with the crow bar in hand. Malk spots Gary out of the corner of his eye and turns and sweeps his feet out from under him before grabbing the weapon from his grip, Gary grabbing at his head as it has been slammed against the mat. JC gets to his feet and takes a gut shot from the crow bar which Malk then slams over the back of JC's neck before giving him a swinging neckbreaker to the mat where he goes for the pin. 1...2...3! JC has been eliminated. The crowd cheers as Malk stands with the crow bar in hand and he is seen talking to himself as Gary gets to his feet and then he gives him a shot to the gut with the weapon before he gives Gary a DDT to the mat. He then rolls Gary over for the pin while holding the crow bar against his throat to hold him down. 1...2...3! Malk has won the first match of the night! Neriah Sweet - Eternity handed the weapon to Gary, but it brought victory for Malk instead! Scavenger - There are no rules to this match, so it's all fair.
Paulie raises Malk's hand in victory and then rushes out of the
chamber, no doubt hot on the heels of Sal Clemenzo who was last seen
carrying Drina away from ringside. Malk stands in the ring with the
crow bar raised above his head and he tells the camera that tonight
is his night. Ricky Simms - This is quite the physical mismatch here. Henry Lesher - Hoshi is going to die inside the ring. I think this is a good thing. Referee Casey Braun calls for the bell as Rose steps out onto the apron and leaves Hoshi with Papers. The two move in for a lock up, but Hoshi ducks that and then starts kicking Papers in the ribs to double him over and then she goes for a bulldog, but Papers picks her up and slams her to the mat instead. Papers then lands a knee drop to the forehead on Hoshi and then goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Hoshi. Papers then pulls Hoshi to his corner and tags in Slim T. The two men then pick Hoshi up and then gives her a double gutbuster before papers steps out and Slim T goes for the pin. 1...2... Hoshi kicks out. The crowd starts a chant for Hoshi as Slim T stands her up. He whips her off the ropes and then gives her a shoulder block to the mat. He then stands over her with a smile on his face and gyrates a little which brings loud boos from the crowd. Ricky Simms - These guys are just toying with Hoshi here. Henry Lesher - Eventually, everyone in this company does. Slim T stands Hoshi up and takes a jawbreaker from her before she then jumps to the ropes and lands a springboard round house kick to the head on Slim T. He staggers and she gives him a standing dropkick to the chest which finally sends the big man to the mat. She then goes to her corner and tags in Rose. Rose jumps to the top rope while Hoshi stays inside the ring. Rose leaps into the arms of Hoshi and Hoshi spins Rose onto Slim T with a power slam which knocks the wind out of the big man before Rose goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Slim T. Rose then goes to the corner and jumps to the top rope and then lands a moonsault onto Slim T which draws cheers from the crowd. She hooks the leg for the pin. 1...2... Papers breaks it up by pulling Rose off of Slim T. He then grabs her around the throat and lifts her for a choke slam. Rose manages to kick away at the gut of Papers which weakens his grip and then Hoshi charges into the ring and gives Papers a drop toe hold to the mat face first while Rose manages to land on her feet. Rose then goes for a knee drop on Slim T and he manages to roll out of the way. Ricky Simms - Rose is experiencing a much greater match this week than she last did against this team. Henry Lesher - Hey, when Hoshi is an upgrade from your usual partner, it is time to rethink your life. Slim T gets to his feet and then takes a series of forearm smashes to the jaw from Rose. Slim T answers by picking her up and fiving her a sidewalk slam to the mat before he goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Rose. Slim T has a few unkind words for the referee. Slim T then stands Rose up, whips her through the ropes to the floor and then he drops and rolls himself under the bottom rope out to the floor with her. We then see a figure dropping from the ceiling, head first and attached to a cord. Shengee Shmelky in a Spider Man costume drops right in front of Slim T which causes the big man to do a double take. He then starts smacking Shengee like a piņata. Rose gets to her feet and then rolls herself under the bottom rope into the ring where she then quickly retreats to her corner while Slim T detaches Shengee from the cable he's hanging from and then gives him a running power slam to the floor while the referee reaches a ten count and calls for the bell. Ricky Simms - Casey Braun just counted Slim T out! Spider-Shengee saved the day! Henry Lesher - Slim tenderized that idiot, though. His single-digit IQ just got cut in half. Papers
and Slim T are enraged when ring announcer Sammy Jo Johnson
announces who the winners are by count out and then Papers steps
into the ring and has a few words with referee Casey Braun while
Slim rolls himself into the ring behind her. Papers then knees Casey
in the gut before Slim T then gives her an inverted DDT to the mat
while the fans boo the big men. Slim T and Papers exit the ring
while Starvin' Marvin is seen applauding his boys. Hoshi and Rose
are seen embracing on the stage, glad to have won that match in
their first tag team contest as a team. "Halls of Fear" by Nino Rota plays as Sal Clemenzo makes his way out onto the stage for the second time tonight. This time, he has Drina Peretti handcuffed to his arm and he walks her down towards the ring when we see Paulie La Cerva charging out with security team members on either side of him. He turns Sal around and stands nose to nose with him. Paulie La Cerva - I could suspend you for this. Sal Clemenzo - You cost me the first match tonight. I have insurance here that says you won't do it again. Paulie La Cerva - Release Drina now! Sal Clemenzo - I will release her after I get a fair shake in this match, Paulie. I am not getting screwed over again, not by you, not tonight. Paulie starts to say something else, but Sal points up. Paulie looks up and the camera follows his view upwards. We see Cordelia and Lydia Parizi hanging from the rafters, dangling in the air and bound at the wrists with rope. Sal Clemenzo - If I release Drina, I guess I release them, too. Paulie La Cerva - You're insane. Sal Clemenzo - Hey, you're making the choice Paulie. Who taught me to be such a damned good negotiator? Paulie backs off and instructs the security team members to back off as well. Sal then continues his march to the ring and draws the key to the cuffs from his left boot. He removes the cuff from his wrist and then cuffs Drina to the bottom rope of the ring. He then places the key in his right elbow pad and ensures that it's on tight before he rolls himself under the bottom rope into the ring. Neriah Sweet - I can't believe the lengths Sal is going to tonight. Scavenger - I can. The guy's insane. Sal's music fades and then we hear "Voices" by Rev Theory and Malk comes out onto the stage where he receives a loud ovation from the crowd. There is even a chant of his name as he makes his way down the ramp, still brandishing the crow bar he used to win the first match he was in tonight. He tells the camera that this is all thanks to Eternity and then he stops at ringside and pulls himself onto the apron. He looks at Drina and laughs while shaking his head, then steps through the ropes into the ring. He tosses the crow bar out to the timekeeper and then stands nose to nose with Sal while his music fades and then we hear "Solitaire Unraveling" by Mushroomhead and Frank Merritt comes out onto the stage and doesn't look happy. He makes his way down the ramp, still seething from the loss he suffered earlier tonight. Frank slides under the bottom rope into the ring and then stands nose to nose with Sal and the discuss what happened earlier. Frank's music fades and then Bombshell's music plays. She comes out to a mixed reaction and then runs down the ramp before she slides under the bottom rope into the ring. She also doesn't appear to be happy about not winning the previous match. She has words with Sal about what happened. Neriah Sweet - It's quite the mass of humanity inside the ring and this should be a hotly contested match up. Scavenger - I have no clue what the hell is going to come out of this series of matches tonight. "Hollow Man" by The Hollow Men plays and Gary Barber comes out onto the stage with JC Michaels at his side. They do not look happy as they make their way down the ramp towards the ring. The pause at ringside and have a few words about strategy before they both steps up onto the apron. They then stand on the apron and argue from there while their music fades and then we hear "Where Eagles Dare" by The Misfits and Moose comes out to a loud cheer from the crowd. He makes his way down the ramp and shakes his head as he looks into the ring at his opposition and then he has a few words with JC and Gary who jump down from the ramp and start to argue with Moose there. They point to Moose's neck and he says that it's fine. Moose's music then fades and we hear "Lala" by Ashlee Simpson and the crowd cheers as Kosmic Kitty comes out in a referee's shirt. She is then followed by Corina as the two ladies make their way down the ramp to ringside where Kitty gets between Moose and the EVC. Neriah Sweet - Two divas are going to call this match? Scavenger - My sister is going to call this match? Neriah Sweet - Okay, so we are looking at a CWA Rumble. There are no rules. There are no teams. Two men start inside the ring and can tag anyone at any time. The winner is the last man or woman standing. Scavenger - These matches can be brutal and frequently people play some mind games to get the upper hand. Corina rolls herself under the bottom rope into the ring and instructs the wrestlers to decide which two will start this match. Kosmic Kitty takes her place outside the ring on the floor to keep an eye on those not involved in the match as this does have rules, unlike the elimination chamber match earlier tonight. When Bombshell and Frank Merritt are the last two inside the ring, Corina calls for the bell. Neriah Sweet - We start with the same two who started out first match tonight. Scavenger - Bombshell will be hoping for a better result, though. Frank moves in to lock up with Bombshell and she ducks it before she knees Frank in the ribs and then she goes for a quick abdominal stretch on Frank. He hip tosses her to the mat instead and then he headlocks her. Bombshell pushes Frank away and then lands a standing dropkick on him, but Frank doesn't fall. Instead, he grabs her around the throat and signals he is going for a choke slam. Bombshell eye gouges Frank, struggles free and then rolls to a corner where she tags in Malk. Malk steps through the ropes into the ring and starts trading punches with Frank Merritt. Malk then picks Frank up and slams him to the mat and then gives him a knee drop to the forehead and then goes for the pin. 1...2... Frank rolls a shoulder out. Neriah Sweet - Malk is fighting the man who has targeted Tommy, an ally of his. Scavenger - Tommy asked me to be his ally once, and I might have considered it. I don't know. I just didn't want to march in the parades. It's not my thing. Malk stands Frank up, whips him off the ropes and ducks his head for a backdrop, but Frank kicks Malk in the face and then gives him a series of forearm smashes which back him up to the ropes. Frank is offered a tag by Sal and he refuses. Frank then whips Malk off the ropes and then gives him a knee to the gut followed by a pump handle slam to the mat. Frank then sets himself for the heart punch. Sal climbs the ropes behind Frank in the corner. Sal launches himself off the top, headlocks Frank on the way down and bulldogs him to the mat. Malk goes for the pin as Sal rolls himself out to the floor. 1...2... kick out by Frank. Malk then stands Frank up, whips him off the ropes and Frank ducks a clothesline and then tags in Sal. Sal steps into the ring and Frank kicks Sal in the gut and then gives him a DDT to the mat before he steps out onto the apron. Malk goes for the pin on Sal. 1...2... Sal gets a foot on the bottom rope. Neriah Sweet - Frank tags in Sal and beats the hell out of him for not tagging moments before. Scavenger - That's where the EVC advantage comes in. Just let these people tear each other apart. Malk stands Sal up, whips him off the ropes and Sal makes a blind tag to JC Michaels. Sal ducks a clothesline from Malk and then gives him a clothesline to the mat instead while JC Michaels climbs the ropes in the corner. Sal heads out of the ring onto the apron as JC lands a flying leg drop to the back of the neck on Malk and then rolls him over for the pin. 1...2...3! Malk has been eliminated first and, again, a referee is forced to check if an injury has occurred. Neriah Sweet - JC again lands that dangerous leg drop off the top onto the back of a man's neck. He's trying to end careers, not just win matches. Scavenger - He's been doing this kind of thing for years. He's dangerous, volatile and the chair said a reign by JC would plunge all of the CWA into darkness. Malk slowly rolls himself out of the ring as Bombshell charges into the ring. She is now the legal participant in the match with JC as she was first into the ring after Malk's elimination. Bombshell kicks JC in the back and then places him in a headlock before she gives him a bulldog to the mat. She then goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by JC Michaels. Bombshell then stands JC up, whips him off the ropes and he ducks a clothesline and then gives her a stunner to the mat where he goes for the quick pin. 1...2... kick out by Bombshell. JC then stands Bombshell up, whips her off the ropes and then gives her a knee to the gut before he gives her a gutwrench suplex to the mat. JC then leg drops Bombshell across the throat and then goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Bombshell. JC then stands her up, whips her into the corner and goes for a shoulder block in the corner, but she side steps it and then lunges to tag in Sal Clemenzo. Neriah Sweet - Sal's in the match as Drina continues to look on helpless at ringside. Scavenger - This is just bizarre, Neriah. Sal charges into the ring and starts trading rights and lefts with JC Michaels. Sal then thumbs JC in the eye and then picks him up and slams him to the mat. Sal then stands JC up and whips him off the ropes and then gives him a backdrop to the mat. Sal stands JC up again and then gives him a series of forearm upper cuts which back him up to the ropes. JC answers with a knee to the gut on Sal and then gives him a clothesline to the mat before he tags in Gary Barber. Barber steps into the ring and he and JC give Sal a double vertical suplex to the mat where Gary then goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Sal. Gary then stands Sal up, whips him into the corner and charges for a shoulder block which misses as Sal dodges it and then he tags in Frank Merritt. Merritt steps into the ring and gives Gary Barber a thundering shoulder block to the mat and then gives him a knee to the chest before he goes for the pin. 1...2... Gary kicks out. Merritt stands Barber up, whips him off the ropes and misses with a clothesline as Gary ducks it. Gary then tags in Bombshell. She charges into the ring and straight into a heart punch from Frank who then goes for the pin. 1...2...3! Bombshell has been eliminated! JC Michaels then charges into the ring and he takes a heart punch from Frank Merritt before he goes for another pin. 1...2... kick out by JC. Neriah Sweet - Bombshell gets taken out and JC goes for the quick attack, but Frank was ready. Scavenger - Bombshell was hurt there. I don't know if these guys will be able to compete in a final. When the smoke clears, we may just have seven injured warriors to show for it and a vacant title. Bombshell rolls herself slowly out of the ring while Frank stands JC up, whips him off the ropes and misses with another heart punch attempt as JC instead kicks Frank in the gut and then gives him a DDT to the mat before he goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Frank and JC tags in Moose. Moose steps through the ropes into the ring and then starts putting the boots to Frank. Moose stands Frank up, whips him off the ropes and then spears Frank back to the mat while the fans cheer. Moose then picks Frank up and slams him to the mat and then gives him an elbow smash to the throat before he goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Frank. Moose then stands Frank up, whips him off the ropes and both men clothesline each other to the mat. JC and Gary then both start climbing the ropes in opposite corners. They leap off and each land flying elbow smashes to the throats on Moose and Frank. The crowd boos and referee Corina tries to restore order while Kosmic Kitty paces at ringside, her eyes on the action. The referee starts counting Moose and Frank down again after getting Barber and JC out of the ring. Neriah Sweet - This is insane action for two divas to police. Scavenger - Insane is right. The chair couldn't keep this stuff straight. On the five count, Frank gets to his hands and knees and then he places Moose in a headlock. Moose blocks a DDT attempt and then gives Frank a series of punches to the gut. Moose then gets to his feet and gives Frank a knee to the ribs before picking him up and slamming him to the mat. He then tags in Sal. Sal steps through the ropes and then places Frank in the Sicilian Sleeper. Frank reaches for the ropes as the fans cheer Sal on. Frank reaches again and Sal manages to hold him near the middle of the ring. Frank is then forced to tap out and he's out of the match. Neriah Sweet - Frank may have been on fire, but he fizzled out there. Scavenger - The monster has been felled yet again tonight. He's going to be homicidal in their next match. Sal gets to his feet and takes a vicious clothesline from a charging Gary Barber. Barber then whips Sal off the ropes and misses with a clothesline when Sal ducks it. Sal then gives Barber a knee to the gut and then gives him a gutwrench suplex to the mat. Sal then goes for the Sicilian Sleeper on Barber, but takes a kick to the face from a charging JC Michaels. The referee then motions to JC and tells him that he's been disqualified. JC is enraged as Corina explains her decision based on two interferences by JC. JC protests and refuses to leave the ring. He then shoves Corina to the mat and asks who will remove him from the ring. Sal gets to his feet slowly and then shoves JC in the chest. JC shoves Sal back and then goes for a right cross, but Sal ducks it, turns JC around and then whips him through the ropes and out to the floor which draws cheers from the crowd. Barber then rolls Sal into a school boy for the pin attempt. 1...2... kick out by Sal. Gary slaps the mat as he then gets to his feet while JC takes a step towards Kosmic Kitty on the floor. Neriah Sweet - In the first match, Bombshell got thrown out. Now, JC is getting thrown out of a match and he wants someone to hit here. Scavenger - He'd better back away from my sister or I'll take his head off. JC takes a step towards Kitty and Scavenger stands up. JC spots Scavenger at the announce table and gives him the finger before he starts to make his way up the ramp, shaking his head. Inside the ring, Gary stands Sal up and takes a jawbreaker from Sal. Sal then pulls the feet out from under Gary Barber and then goes for the Sicilian Sleeper again, but Gary manages to grab the bottom rope to prevent that. Sal then stands Gary up, whips him off the ropes and then gives him a dropkick to the mat. Sal then rolls to the ropes and tags in Moose. Moose charges into the ring and starts putting the boots to Gary Barber. Moose then stands Barber up, whips him to where Sal is and Sal gives Barber a thumb to the eye. Barber staggers back to Moose who gives Barber an inverted atomic drop. Moose then picks Barber up and gives him a Moosedriver to the mat where he goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Gary Barber. Neriah Sweet - Barber barely kicked out of that one. Scavenger - We're down to three participants in this one and they're all the best, in my opinion. Moose stands Barber up, whips him off the ropes and Barber ducks a clothesline and then Barber gives Moose a knee to the gut and then goes for a vertical suplex, only to have Moose block it. Moose then picks Barber up and gives him another Moosedriver to the mat and then goes for the pin. 1...2...3! Gary Barber has been eliminated. Moose gets to his feet only to have Sal clothesline him right back down to the mat. Sal then stands Moose up, whips him off the ropes and then gives him a dropkick to the mat while Barber rolls himself out of the ring. Neriah Sweet - The final two are Sal and Moose here. Scavenger - Hey, these are CWA guys through and through. That may not count for a lot to some, but it means a lot to a veteran of the company like myself. Sal stands Moose up and whips him through the ropes and out to the floor. Sal then rolls himself out and then he stands Moose up and whips him shoulder first into the steel ring steps. Sal then stands Moose up and slams his forehead into the ring steps before he then whips Moose into the guard railing. Sal then rolls Moose back into the ring before he does the same himself. Sal then goes for the pin on Moose. 1...2... Moose reverses the pin into a small package. 1...2...3! Sal gets the surprise pinfall win over the defending champ! Neriah Sweet - Match two goes to Sal! He and Malk have now both won a match tonight! Scavenger - Incredible show. These guys have to be dead tired, but they still have a long road ahead. I think it's crazy to wrestle so many times in one night and none of these matches will be easy. Neriah Sweet - No doubt about that one, Scav.
Sal then rolls himself out of the ring and frees Drina from the
handcuffs. She slaps him across the face before she takes off up the
ramp. He then looks up at Tony Parizi's daughters who are still
hanging from the rafters by their hands. He makes a signal towards
someone up there and we see a figure heading over to allow them to
escape as Sal is satisfied with his win tonight. Sal then raises his
hands in victory and the crowd cheers. Ricky Simms - An interesting mixed tag match here. We had intended to have Dr. Phil as the referee, but he had to pull out. It had something to do with his divorce. Henry Lesher - I thought he was the relationship expert... Jack locks up with Shannon and the two grapple against the ropes. The referee asks for a clean break. Shannon backs off and then knees jack in the gut before Jack thumbs Shannon in the eye. Jack then rakes the eyes of the CWA owner along the top rope and then whips him off the ropes and gives him a backdrop to the mat before landing a leg drop across the throat of Shannon and then he goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Shannon. Jack then stands Shannon up and whips him through the ropes and out to the floor. Jack then waits for Shannon to stand and then he gives him a baseball slide into a kick to the chest which sends Shannon falling back to the guard railing. Jack then stands Shannon up and takes a knee to the gut from Shannon who then rams Jack shoulder first into the steel corner post. Shannon then picks Jack up and gives him a kneebreaker before he rolls him into the ring and then does the same himself. Shannon then pulls Jack to the middle of the ring and quickly applies a figure four which draws cheers from the crowd. Ricky Simms - This used to be Shannon's finisher. Henry Lesher - Yeah, but who did he fight back then? The guy who is an interviewer now, the announcer or the referee? Jack Spade refuses to submit when asked by the referee and he reaches for the ropes. He pulls himself slowly towards the ropes as we see Myst climbing the ropes in the corner. Myst leaps off and lands a flying elbow smash to the chest on Shannon which allows the hold to be broken by Spade. The referee then has words with Myst as he sees her out of the ring and Jack Spade gets to his feet. Jack puts the boots to Shannon on the mat and then stands him up, whips him off the ropes and gives him a dropkick back to the mat before he goes to his corner and tags in Myst. Ricky Simms - Myst has already struck once and now she can really lay into Shannon here. Henry Lesher - I would imagine she wanted to do this for years. I commend her drive to succeed. Myst steps into the ring and then she kicks Shannon in the ribs. She stands him up, whips him into the corner buckle and then gives him a monkey flip to the middle of the ring. Myst then points to the corner and then she climbs her way to the top rope. She then leaps off and lands a flying knee drop to the forehead on Shannon and then she goes for the pin. 1...2... Kathy grabs Myst by the hair and pulls her off of Shannon. Kathy then picks Myst up and throws her over the top rope and out to the floor while the referee shouts a warning at Kathy. Myst gets to her feet on the floor and swears at Kathy and spits in her direction before she pulls herself onto the apron. With the referee restraining Kathy, Myst leans into the ring and slaps Kathy across the face. While the referee shoves Kathy back to her corner, Shannon gets to his feet. Myst goes for a springboard splash onto Shannon, but he ducks out of the way and Myst instead crashes to the mat. Shannon then rolls to his corner and tags in Kathy. Ricky Simms - Shannon will not strike Myst. Henry Lesher - Hey, if he were such a gentleman, he wouldn't be out here with Kathy of all people. Kathy charges into the ring and spears Myst to the mat and then starts slamming her head into the mat. Kathy then stands Myst up, whips her into a neutral corner and then climbs to the second rope and starts landing punches to the jaw on Myst. Myst then pulls Kathy out of the corner and gives her a spinebuster to the mat. Myst then chokes Kathy with both hands while the referee threatens to disqualify her. Myst releases the choke before the five count and then stands Kathy up, whips her through the ropes to the floor and then she drops and rolls herself out to the floor. Myst grabs Kathy by the hair with one hand and slaps her across the face with the other. Myst then pulls the mats off the concrete floor. Shannon drops off the apron and pulls Kathy away from Myst. Myst then slaps Shannon across the face. Ricky Simms - This match is getting ugly. Henry Lesher - Myst was about to make Kathy ugly here. Shannon rolls Kathy back into the ring and Myst slaps him again before she rolls herself into the ring. Shannon stands at ringside and looks down towards the floor while Myst stands Kathy up, whips her off the ropes and then both divas clothesline one another to the mat. The referee starts counting them both down. On the five count, Myst jumps up to her feet and then she goes to her corner and tags in Spade. Kathy then rolls to her corner and reaches for Shannon, but finds no one there as he is still at ringside in shock from the slaps Myst gave him. Spade then pulls Kathy to the middle of the ring and then gives her a leg drop to the back of the neck. He then jumps to the top rope and lands a 260 splash onto the fallen Kathy and then rolls her over for the pin. 1...2...3! Spade and Myst get the win in this one. Ricky Simms - Shannon wasn't there for the tag and Kathy took the pin. Henry Lesher - That's standard, Shannon letting a woman do his fighting for him.
Shannon rolls himself into the ring and looks to Kathy while Myst
and Jack Spade head up the ramp, Myst patting Jack on the back and
then looking to the ring. She tells Shannon that's how a killer
instinct works. "Halls of Fear" by Nino Rota plays as Sal Clemenzo makes his way out onto the stage for the third time tonight. He receives loud cheers from the crowd as he makes his way down the ramp towards the ring for the next match in the hunt for the title tonight. Sal then pulls himself onto the apron and then steps through the ropes into the ring. He tests the ropes while his music fades and then we hear "Solitaire Unraveling" by Mushroomhead and the crowd has a mixed reaction to Frank's third appearance tonight. He jogs down the ramp to ringside and then glares at Sal inside the ring. Sal responds by holding the ropes open and inviting Frank in. Neriah Sweet - Mind games here between Frank and Sal. Scavenger - Frank would be more suited to a game of Connect Four than trying to match wits with Sal. Neriah Sweet - This is a gauntlet match, so every participant will be involved and the winner is the last man or woman standing. Frank makes his way up the ring steps onto the apron and Sal backs away as the referee for tonight's match makes his way out. The crowd cheers as it's Bret Hart who comes out in the referee's shirt and slowly makes his way down the ramp while both Frank and Sal pause to look upon the legend who will referee this match tonight. Neriah Sweet - Bret's history with the CWA goes back almost fifteen years. Scavenger - Yeah, he was the one guy from the big company who came down and wrestled with us a few times. The guy is a class act. That's a great pick for a referee here tonight. Frank steps into the ring while Bret pulls himself onto the apron and then he enters the ring. Bret calls for the bell and Frank starts trading punches with Sal Clemenzo. Frank then whips Sal off the ropes and gives him a shoulder block, but Sal doesn't go down. Sal kicks Frank in the ribs and then picks him up and slams him to the mat. Sal then boot chokes Frank, using the top rope for added leverage while the referee counts towards a possible DQ here. Sal breaks the choke and then he stands Frank up, whips him into the corner buckle and then he gives him a hop toss back to the center of the ring. He places Frank in a headlock and Frank answers that by giving Sal an Angle Slam to the mat where he goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Sal. Frank then stands Sal up, whips him off the ropes and gives him a big boot to the chest which sends him down to the mat. Frank then gives Sal a knee drop to the forehead and then picks Sal up over his shoulder and then gives him a power slam to the mat. He again goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Sal. Neriah Sweet - These guys have to be exhausted already. Scavenger - Neriah, I will be amazed if the ultimate winner tonight has the strength left to hold the belt up after he wins it. This is insanity at its best. Frank stands Sal up, whips him off the ropes and Sal ducks the dreaded heart punch and then gives Frank a DDT to the mat before going for the pin. 1...2... Frank kicks out. Sal then stands Frank up and whips him through the ropes and out to the floor. Sal then goes to the ropes in the corner and climbs to the top rope. Frank gets to his feet on the floor as Sal leaps off. Sal misses with a flying cross body and Frank manages to deliver a heart punch on the falling Sal. Frank then stands Sal up and rolls him into the ring before rolling himself in where he goes for the pin. 1...2...3! Frank has eliminated Sal Clemenzo to start the match. Neriah Sweet - Again, the winner of the previous match goes out first here. Frank survives this part of the match. Scavenger - Frank has to feel good about how effective the heart punch has been tonight. Frank stands in the middle of the ring while Sal rolls out and then we hear "Voices" by Rev Theory and Malk makes his way onto the stage where the crowd gives him a warm ovation. He runs down the ramp to ringside and then takes the microphone from ring announcer Sammy Jo Johnson. Malk - I know I blew it in my last match. I will not do that again. Malk throws the microphone back to Sammy Jo and then he rolls himself into the ring where Frank greets him by putting the boots to him. Frank then stands Malk up, whips him off the ropes and then gives him a dropkick which sends him down to the mat. Frank then gets to his feet, stands Malk up and whips him into the corner where he gives Malk a series of shoulder blocks while the fans start a chant for Malk. Frank then whips Malk to the opposite corner and then he goes for another shoulder block, but Malk side steps it and then sends Frank shoulder first into the corner. Malk then pulls Frank to the middle of the ring and applies a sleeperhold on him which draws cheers from the crowd. Frank refuses to submit when asked by referee Bret Hart. Frank then reaches for the ropes while Malk tries to hold him away from them. Frank then reaches back and thumbs Malk in the eye which weakens the hold. Frank then gives Malk a series of elbow smashes to the gut which allow him to break free. Frank then whips Malk off the ropes and then gives him a spinebuster to the mat. Frank then goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Malk. Neriah Sweet - Malk almost was out there. Scavenger - These guys are running on some reserve of energy here. I mean, they are not wrestling in standard matches. An elimination chamber and then a rumble and now a gauntlet, this is insanity. Frank stands Malk up, whips him off the ropes and then both men clothesline one another to the mat and the referee starts counting them down. Bret Hart reaches a five count and then Malk jumps to his feet and starts putting the boots to Frank, a crazed look in his eyes. Malk then stands Frank up and whips him through the ropes to the floor. Malk then goes to the corner and makes his way to the top rope. Frank reaches his feet and Malk manages to land a missile dropkick on Frank which sends him crashing into the guard railing. Neriah Sweet - No heart punch that time. Scavenger - No, Frank took a beating there. The odds are against anyone going from start to finish in this match. Malk gets to his feet and pulls Frank up and then rolls him into the ring before he rolls himself in. Malk goes for the pin. 1...2... Frank reverses it into a small package. 1...2...3! Malk has again been eliminated and his night just got tougher to take which draws boos from the crowd. Neriah Sweet - Out of nowhere, Frank scores the pinfall win over Malk! Scavenger - Being too dumb to know he was beaten worked out for Frank there. Malk rolls himself out of the ring and then picks up a chair at ringside and tosses it over the top rope into the ring at Frank Merritt. Merritt drops and rolls himself out to the floor and stands nose to nose with Malk. Merritt then takes a low blow from Malk who then slams Frank's forehead into the guard railing before picking him up and dropping him on the railing, catching the steel on the monster's throat. Merritt is bleeding from the forehead, a reopened wound from the elimination chamber earlier tonight. Malk then rolls Frank into the ring while Bret Hart shouts at Malk. Malk retreats as "Piece of Me" by Britney Spears plays and Bombshell runs down the ramp to the ring and then slides under the bottom rope before she goes for the pin on the bloodied Frank Merritt. 1...2...3! Bombshell eliminates a severely weakened Frank Merritt. Neriah Sweet - Frank might kill Malk when he comes to here. Scavenger - I am seeing the birth of some nasty feuds here tonight. Bombshell quickly gets to her feet as "Where Eagles Dares" by The Misfits plays and The Moose comes out onto the stage. He doesn't look happy and we can guess that is the result of how tonight has gone for him. He quickly makes his way down the ramp to ringside and then pulls himself onto the apron. He steps through the ropes into the ring where Bombshell attacks him with a series of forearm smashes to the jaw. Bombshell then rakes Moose's eyes along the top rope and then gives him a German suplex to the mat before she stands him up and then he gives her a series of knife edge chops to the chest and then he gives her a drop toe hold into an STF. Bombshell breaks that up by grabbing the bottom rope and then she rolls herself out to the floor. Neriah Sweet - Bombshell may have delivered a weak suplex there in trying to lift the much larger Moose up and now he has taken the advantage. Scavenger - Moose is a brilliant wrestler. He is going to win at least one of these matches. He has to. Bombshell paces on the floor and then she shouts something towards Moose. She then pulls herself back onto the apron before she steps through the ropes into the ring. Moose locks up with her and she goes for a kick to the gut. Moose catches her foot and pulls her to the middle of the ring before pulling her down to the mat. He then gives her a leg drop across the throat and then he goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Bombshell. Moose then stands Bombshell up, whips her off the ropes and then backdrops her to the mat. Bombshell manages to land on her feet and then gives Moose a standing dropkick. Bombshell then jumps to her feet, goes to the top rope and lands a moonsault onto Moose and hooks the leg for the pin. 1...2... Moose kicks out and Bombshell slaps the mat. Neriah Sweet - Bombshell nearly had him there. Scavenger - Well, tonight is all about Bombshell doing everything in her power to prove she belongs in the main event. She has done well so far, but she really has to win one of these matches. Bombshell stands Moose up, whips him off the ropes and goes for a clothesline on him, but it only staggers Moose. Moose then gives Bombshell a clothesline to the mat and she kips right back to her feet. Moose then gives Bombshell a knee to the ribs and then gives her a snap suplex to the mat. Moose then stands her up, whips her into the corner buckle and then goes for a running kick on Bombshell, but she ducks it and pulls the feet out from under Moose. Bombshell then pulls Moose to the middle of the ring and places Moose in a Boston Crab. She struggles to hold the more massive male star down in the hold while Moose reaches for the ropes and refuses to submit when asked by referee Bret Hart. Neriah Sweet - Again, Bombshell is doing a good job in this battle. Scavenger - I won't take anything away from her. This is why I think there's less need for a women's title and more need to see what they can do against the guys. Our female wrestlers are damned tough. Moose pulls himself up from the mat and reaches back for Bombshell's feet. Bombshell struggles to maintain the hold and then abruptly releases it and then turns and kicks Moose in the side of the head before rolling him into a school boy for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Moose. Bombshell then stands Moose up, whips him off the ropes and he ducks a clothesline and then gives Bombshell a backslide into a pin attempt. 1...2...3! Moose gets the win from out of nowhere. Neriah Sweet - After giving Moose a run for his money, Bombshell bows out. Scavenger - Moose is a legend for a reason. "Hollow Man" by The Hollow Men plays as Gary Barber comes out for his third match of the night. The fans boo him as he makes his way down the ramp towards the ring. He stops at ringside where Bombshell is still upset about being eliminated. Barber then spears her into the guard railing before he pulls himself onto the ring apron and then steps through the ropes into the ring. Barber then starts trading punches with Moose. Moose then ducks a punch from Barber and then gives him an atomic drop before he then gives Barber a double axe handle smash to the back. Moose then picks Barber up and gives him a sidewalk slam to the mat. He goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Gary Barber. Moose then stands Barber up, whips him off the ropes and then gives him a backdrop to the mat. Moose then goes to the ropes and climbs to the second rope. Barber gets to his feet and Moose goes for a clothesline on Barber, but Gary ducks that and then spears Moose to the mat. Barber then places Moose's throat over the bottom rope and chokes him with it while taunting fans in the front row. Neriah Sweet - The EVC is not winning any popularity contests tonight. Scavenger - They are not here to be popular. They will tell you that. Barber releases the choke before the referee reaches a five count. Barber then starts choking Moose with the bottom rope again only to have Bret Hart pull him off of Moose. Barber then stands nose to nose with Hart and tells him he was always an HBK fan. Hart just smirks as Barber then stands Moose up, whips him off the ropes and then gives him a knee to the gut followed by a power bomb to the mat. Barber then applies a sharpshooter on Moose and tells Hart this is how to properly apply the hold. Neriah Sweet - Barber is taking verbal shots at Bret Hart here while he dominates the champ. Scavenger - I know it's impressive, but he can't take his eyes off of Moose or he'll lose. Bret checks for a submission, but Moose refuses to submit and he reaches for the ropes while the fans start a chant for Moose. Moose then pulls himself up from the mat, a pained expression on his face as he tries to pull himself on his elbows to the ropes. Barber struggles to maintain the hold as Moose keeps pushing himself up from the mat. Moose then slaps the mat to a rhythm that the fans quickly pick up on and they clap along, trying to will Moose to break free of the hold. Barber shouts that he is the best there ever will be and for Moose to give up. Moose then crawls on his elbows again and then manages to grab the bottom rope which forces the break of the hold. Barber shakes his head and refuses to break the hold. Bret Hart counts to five and then calls for the bell to disqualify Gary Barber. Neriah Sweet - Barber got himself disqualified. Scavenger - Barber is smart. He knows who is the last participant in this match. He knows what he's doing and I hate him for it. "Suicide Messiah" by Black Label Society plays as JC Michaels comes out onto the stage and then rushes down the ramp to ringside with the fans booing him loudly. Bret Hart is still trying to pull Gary Barber off of Moose as JC climbs the ropes. JC then leaps off and leg drops Moose across the back of the neck which causes the fans booing to become even louder. JC then taps Gary Barber on the shoulder and Barber releases Moose from the hold while JC rolls Moose over for the pin. 1...2...3! JC Michaels wins the match and Moose is out cold. Neriah Sweet - That is the second time they have targeted Moose's neck. This is horrible sportsmanship by the EVC. Scavenger - JC will point out that he won, though. JC high fives Gary inside the ring and Bret Hart reluctantly raises JC's hand. Bret is seen shaking his head as he rolls himself out of the ring and starts making his way up the ramp towards the back, JC and Gary standing over a motionless Moose which has the fans loudly chanting "Bullshit." Neriah Sweet - The fans are not happy.
Scavenger - Again, they don't care. That's JC's phrase, his way
of life. He just doesn't give a damn. Myst - Well, this next match will be a treat for all of you. Henry Lesher - I doubt that. Myst - This match will feature three falls. The first fall will be for the TV Title. The second fall will be for the Aerial Title and then the final fall will be for the tag belts. The man or woman who scores the pin then selects who they will hold the titles with. It is possible that all four competitors will walk out of this face off with gold. Let's see how this plays out and best of luck to all involved. Myst then heads off the stage to another ovation. The lights then dim and we hear "London Bridges" by Fergie and Ariel Johnson comes out as the guest referee for this match. She is greeted with loud boos from the crowd, but she blows them kisses as if she is unaware that they are not her fans. She then sprints down to the ring and jumps onto the ring apron before she leaps over the top rope into the ring. She then leans back against the ropes while her music fades and then we hear "Run To the Hills" by Iron Maiden and AJ Cameron comes out onto the stage with Max Cameron, the tag titles over their shoulders. They then make their way down the ramp to ringside and then hand off their title belts to the timekeeper. Max pulls himself onto the apron and steps through the ropes into the ring where he has a few words with Ariel as if to confirm her lack of an agenda in this one. Ricky Simms - Max is suspicious of the referee here. Henry Lesher - He just wants to talk to a pretty girl. Since there isn't one present, he settles for Ariel like Maxine settled for him back in the day. Max and AJ's music fades and then we hear "Downfall" by Trust Company and Tommy Purr comes out onto the stage area with Kira Yakamoto. Kira walks next to Tommy the first few steps down the ramp, but then she moves a little faster as she gets closer to the ring. She then slides under the bottom rope into the ring and has words with referee Ariel Johnson as this diva is certainly not trusted by Kira. Ariel backs away from Kira and points to her shirt and says she is here to be fair. Kira shakes her head and the referee calls for the bell to start the match. Max locks up with Kira and then he throws her down to the mat before he then picks her up and gives her a power slam to the mat where he goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Kira. Ricky Simms - As Myst said, this is now a three fall match. The first is for the TV title, the second for the Aerial and then the third is for the tag titles. Henry Lesher - It's going to be fun seeing Max lose three times like this. Max stands Kira up, whips her off the ropes and then he gives her a backdrop to the mat. He then pulls her to his corner and tags in AJ. AJ steps through the ropes into the ring and then stands Kira up, whips her into a neutral corner and then he goes for a running shoulder block only to have Kira step out of the way. Kira then goes to the ropes in the corner, jumps to the top and leaps off, placing AJ in a flying headscissors that takes him down to the mat. Kira then jumps to her feet and then goes to her corner and tags in Tommy Purr. Tommy enters the ring and charges at AJ and levels him with a shoulder block to the mat. Tommy then picks AJ up and then gives him an over the knee backbreaker before he goes for the pin. 1...2... AJ rolls a shoulder out. Ricky Simms - This match could go on for awhile at this rate. Henry Lesher - At least I have Tommy out here. All of the actual wrestlers are in Boston. Why am I here? Why did I get the second place assignment? I should be calling Frank or the EVC becoming champion. Tommy stands AJ up, whips him off the ropes and AJ ducks a clothesline and then gives Tommy a side Russian leg sweep. AJ then stands Tommy up and whips him over the top rope and out to the floor. AJ then slides out of the ring to the floor, stands Tommy up and then whips him shoulder first into the steel ring steps. AJ then rolls Tommy into the ring before rolling himself in and he goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Tommy Purr. AJ then pulls Tommy to his corner and tags in Max Cameron. Max enters the ring, whips Tommy off the ropes and Tommy ducks a clothesline before he gives Max an inverted DDT to the mat. Tommy then quickly gets to his feet, picks Max up and runs him face first into the corner buckle before he then gives him a spinning power slam to the mat. Tommy then hooks the leg for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Max Cameron. Ricky Simms - I thought he had him there. Henry Lesher - Tommy is toying with Max. He'll pin him for the three count when he wants to. Tommy stands Max up, whips him off the ropes and Max ducks a clothesline before rolling to his corner and then he tags in AJ Cameron. AJ charges into the ring right into a big boot to the face from Tommy who then gives AJ a flapjack to the mat where he then goes for the pin. 1...2...3! Tommy takes the first fall and retains the TV title! Ricky Simms - AJ takes the pin out of what seemed to be a simple move there. Henry Lesher - Tommy makes even simple moves lethal. You're clueless, Rick. Tommy gets to his feet and raises his arms in victory. He then goes to his corner and tags in Kira Yakamoto. She enters the ring and then places AJ in a headlock. AJ gives Kira a series of elbows to the ribs in order to break free and then he whips her off the ropes before giving her a dropkick down to the mat. AJ then goes to the ropes and goes for a lionsault, but Kira manages to roll herself out of the way. Kira then uses the ropes to quickly get to her feet and then she places AJ in a headlock, then tries for a vertical suplex which is blocked by AJ. He then gives her a vertical suplex to the mat and then rolls to his corner and tags in Max Cameron. Max rushes into the ring and he whips Kira into the corner buckle and then gives her a shoulder block there before he places her on the top rope. Max climbs the ropes with the intention of delivering a superplex on Kira. Kira answers with a series of elbows to the jaw on Max before she shoves him down to the mat. She then stands up on the top rope, waits for Max to stand and then she lands a missile dropkick to the chest on Max before she goes for the pin. 1...2... Max kicks out. Ricky Simms - That was close. Henry Lesher - That max is the next number one contender? That's all shades of wrong, Rick. They need a new system. Kira stands Max up, whips him off the ropes and then she leap frogs him. He comes off the ropes again and takes an arm drag to the mat from Kira who applies an arm bar on Max. Max is quickly up to his feet and he gives Kira a series of forearm smashes to the jaw which back her up to the ropes. He then whips her to his corner where AJ gives Kira a knife edge chop to the chest and then Max gives her a spear to the mat where he goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Kira. Max then tags in AJ. AJ and Max then set Kira up for and deliver a double brainbuster on her and then AJ goes for the pin. 1...2... Kira barely kicks out and AJ has a few words for the referee on the matter. Ricky Simms - AJ thought he had her there and was the Aerial champ. Henry Lesher - His last name is Cameron. There's a reason that name doesn't rhyme with winner. AJ stands Kira up, whips her off the ropes and she ducks a clothesline and then gives AJ a backslide into a pin attempt. 1...2...3! Kira Yakamoto is the new Aerial champ of the CWA! The crowd cheers wildly as Kira rolls herself out of the ring, tears in her eyes as she is announced as the winner of the second fall and her first gold in the CWA. Ricky Simms - Kira has battled long and hard for recognition and now she has it as the new Aerial champ! Henry Lesher - AJ and Max will both retire after this match. This is horrible. Ricky Simms - Well, it's another weak move that gets AJ pinned there. Henry Lesher - Here come the conspiracy theories. Did you ever consider the fact AJ sucks? Kira rolls herself into the ring and tags in Tommy Purr while AJ goes to his corner and tags in Max Cameron. Max and Tommy then start trading rights and lefts as the fans cheer Tommy on with a chant of his name mixed with a chant for Kira as well. Tommy gives Max a series of forearm smashes to the jaw and then whips him off the ropes before giving him a dropkick to the mat. Tommy then gets to his feet and pulls Max to the corner. He then climbs to the second rope and lands an elbow smash to the chest on Max before he goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Max. Tommy then stands Max up, whips him to the opposite corner and then charges in for a shoulder block on Max. Instead, Max leaps over Tommy and then gives him an arm drag to the center of the ring where he then knees Tommy in the back before he quickly applies a Boston Crab on Tommy Purr. Tommy reaches towards the ropes and refuses to submit when asked by the referee. Ricky Simms - Max is really trying to salvage something from this match here. If he can keep the tag titles, that's a start, for sure. Henry Lesher - Max is not a winner. He will never be a winner. Tommy refuses to submit when asked by the referee and he reaches for the ropes. Max then releases the hold and quickly places Tommy in a camel clutch. Tommy is asked by the referee if he submits, but Tommy refuses to give up to Max's hold here. Tommy then starts to push himself up from the mat as Kira applauds Tommy, trying to get the fans to cheer him on louder and inspire him to break the hold. Tommy pushes himself up from the mat in order to weaken the hold's effect and then he lunges towards the ropes and manages to touch the rope momentarily, long enough for Ariel Johnson to demand the break of the hold. max releases Tommy, pulls him to his corner and tags in AJ. AJ then steps into the ring and whips Tommy off the ropes and then gives him a backdrop to the mat. AJ Cameron then stands Tommy up and takes a knee to the gut from Tommy who then pulls AJ to his corner and tags in Kira. Ricky Simms - Let's see of Kira can focus on the match after becoming a belt winner a few short minutes ago. Henry Lesher - I doubt it. She tried walking and chewing gum at the same time once, and it ended badly for all. Kira enters the ring and then whips AJ off the ropes and misses with a clothesline when he ducks it. AJ then picks Kira up and slams her to the mat and then he gives her a leg drop to the throat before he goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Kira. AJ then stands Kira up, whips her into a neutral corner and then he gives her a running knee lift to the chest. AJ then gives Kira a snap mare to the mat and then he places her in a sleeper hold. She then grabs onto one of AJ's feet and she applies an ankle lock on AJ which allows her to break free of the hold as the referee now asks AJ if he submits. AJ refuses and reaches out for the ropes. Kira maintains the hold and AJ pulls himself up to his feet and then kicks Kira in the back of the head with his free leg, bringing her down to the mat. AJ then jumps to his feet and then he picks Kira up and gives her a tombstone piledriver on the light framed Kira before he goes for the pin. 1...2...3! AJ Cameron wins and has the right to choose his tag partner. Ricky Simms - I can't think of many wrestlers AJ would be able to pile drive like that, but Kira's one of them. Henry Lesher - Tommy should have come out of this with all three titles. This is terrible. Max heads to the timekeeper's table and grabs the tag titles and then rolls himself into the ring. He stands next to AJ and hands him one of the tag title belts. AJ look at the belt, smiles and then turns and clocks Max with it. Tommy charges into the ring and he and AJ lay a beating on Max Cameron. Ricky Simms - I guess AJ is not choosing to side with Max. Max isn't even fighting back here. Henry Lesher - I am glad he has as little faith in himself as I have in him. AJ stands Max up and Tommy pulls the tag title belt from Max's grip and then clocks him across the top of the head with it. Tommy and AJ then resume putting the boots to Max while the crowd has a rather mixed reaction to the attack. The crowd then cheers as Shannon Skanes races down the ramp and slides under the bottom rope into the ring with a chair in hand. Tommy and AJ bail out of the ring and Shannon stands over Max. Ricky Simms - Earlier tonight, we watched as Shannon was unable to fight Myst. Now, he comes out to aid Max who has the same issue with AJ Cameron. Henry Lesher - Yeah, those spineless cowards need to stick together. That's a good name for their tag team actually.
Shannon continues to stand over Max while AJ and Tommy raise the
tag titles high. The new Aerial champion starts to come to as she
will now come to terms with the fact she is the new Aerial champion.
Undoubtedly, she will feel great once she recovers from the
punishment inflicted by AJ Cameron. Scavenger - That would be a huge advantage for the EVC. Neriah Sweet - These wrestlers have to be exhausted. Scavenger - I guarantee that they are. This is their fourth match of the night. The bell sounds and Sal Clemenzo is starting the match against JC Michaels. They start trading rights and lefts and JC kicks Sal in the ribs and then pulls his feet out from under him before he gives Sal a knee to the stomach and then JC sits Sal up and applies a sleeperhold on him while the fans start a chant for Sal Clemenzo. Sal fights to get to the ropes and manages to grab the middle rope, so referee Rob Rai calls for the break and JC releases Sal. JC then stands Sal up, whips him off the ropes and misses with a clothesline as Sal ducks it and then he gives JC a series of forearm smashes to the jaw. Sal then whips JC into the corner and then gives him a running lariat in the corner before he then headlocks JC and gives him a bulldog to the mat. Sal then rolls him over for the pin. 1...2... kick out by JC. Neriah Sweet - This being a Scramble match, of course, the person who gets the final pinfall win is the winner of the match and, as these matches pass, the chances for people who have yet to taste victory become that much more dire. Scavenger - Well, the winners have to feel good about their chances, but they would want to win more than one match to both look better than the rest of the field tonight and to edge someone else towards failure. Neriah Sweet - Every three minutes, someone else joins this match. Sal stands JC up and whips him through the ropes and out to the floor. Sal then waits for JC to stand before he leaps through the ropes and lands a flying cross body onto JC which sends him back to the floor. Sal then stands JC up and then slams his forehead into the steel guard railing. Sal then rolls JC into the ring before he rolls himself in and then Sal goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by JC Michaels. Sal stands JC up and takes a jawbreaker from JC who then gives Sal a series of rights and lefts which back Sal into the ropes. JC then clotheslines Sal over the top rope out to the floor as the next competitor runs down the ramp and slips into the ring. Neriah Sweet - Bombshell is out here and ready to fight. Scavenger - Well, they should all be ready to fight. Bombshell gives JC a dropkick to the chest and then she goes to the ropes and makes her way to the top. She leaps off and misses with a moonsault as JC rolls out of the way while Sal rolls himself back into the ring. JC uses the ropes to get to his feet only to take a series of rights and lefts from Sal. Sal then takes a rake of Bombshell's nails down his back before she turns him around and gives him a springboard DDT and then she goes for the pin. 1....2... JC breaks it up by kicking Bombshell in the face. JC then pulls her to her feet by the hair and then he whips her off the ropes and then gives her a knee to the gut followed by a snap suplex to the mat. JC then gets to his feet as Sal kips up to his and then Sal gives JC a knee to the gut before giving him a swinging neckbreaker to the mat where Sal goes for the pin. 1...2... JC rolls a shoulder out. Sal then gets to his feet only to be tripped back down by Bombshell who then gives Sal a leg drop to the throat and then she goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Sal. Neriah Sweet - Lots of near falls in this match which is scheduled to go for a twenty minute time limit, down from thirty with news that Moose will not be in this match. The last person to secure a pinfall or submission victory gets the win. It only leave the last entrant two minutes to pin someone. Scavenger - Yeah, but think about how tired the others are going to be. Bombshell then stands Sal up, whips him off the ropes and misses with a clothesline as Sal ducks it and then he gives Bombshell an inverted DDT to the mat where he takes a kick to the head from JC who then goes for the pin on Bombshell. 1...2... kick out by Bombshell and JC slaps the mat in frustration. He then stands Bombshell up and whips her through the ropes and out to the floor. We then see Frank Merritt making his way down the ramp towards the ring. He pulls himself onto the apron where he and JC have words. Sal then rolls JC into a school boy pinfall attempt. 1...2...3! Sal scores the first pinfall. Frank charges into the ring and gives Sal a running knee lift to the face and then gives him a brainbuster to the mat before he goes for the pin. 1...2...3! Frank quickly scores a pin and gets into the driver's seat in this battle which draws boos from the crowd. Frank then stands JC up, whips him off the ropes and both men clothesline each other to the mat while Bombshell climbs the ropes in the corner. Bombshell then lands a shooting star press onto JC Michaels before she goes for the pin. 1...2... Sal pulls Bombshell off of JC and then he gives her a series of knife edge chops to the chest. Neriah Sweet - Frantic action here as Frank is currently set to win this match. Scavenger - Frank is livid with the fact he has yet to win a match tonight, so you cannot rule him out of any match from here on. Sal whips Bombshell into the corner and charges at her only to take a spear to the side from Frank Merritt who then starts choking Sal Clemenzo while the referee threatens to disqualify Frank for such tactics. Frank releases the choke on the four count and then stands Sal up, whips him into the corner and then he takes a Bitch Kick from Bombshell which causes Frank to faceplant onto the mat. JC Michaels then clothesline Bombshell to the mat before he goes for the pin on Frank. 1...2...3! JC Michaels then quickly gets to his feet and retreats into the corner where he can keep an eye on everyone. Neriah Sweet - JC takes the advantage in this one. Scavenger - He won the last match and gets huge bragging rights if he can win this one as well. Malk is then seen running down the ramp and he slides under the bottom rope into the ring where Sal welcomes him by putting the boots to him. JC then joins in with Sal, beating Malk down. They stand Malk up, whip him off the ropes and gives him a double shoulder block down to the mat before Sal thumbs JC in the eye and then gives him an inverted atomic drop. Sal then has the feet pulled out from under him by Bombshell on the floor, as she pulls Sal right out of the ring and then she gives Sal a bulldog to the floor. JC stands Malk up, whips him off the ropes and Malk ducks a clothesline and then he gives JC a reverse neckbreaker to the mat. Malk then goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by JC. Malk then stands JC up and whips him right to Frank, who has just got back to his feet. Frank catches JC and gives him a belly to belly overhead suplex to the mat. Frank then goes for the pin on JC. 1...2... Malk pulls Frank off of JC and then stands Frank up. Malk whips Frank off the ropes and they then shoulder block one another with neither of them going down. They then start trading knife edge chops to the chest. Malk then headbutts Frank. JC then slams their heads together and whips Malk over the top rope before he rakes Frank's eyes along the top rope and then gives him a punch to the throat. Neriah Sweet - These guys are all vicious in their attempt to win every match. Scavenger - I'm amazed they have this much energy left. Bombshell then gives JC a Bitch Kick to the back of the head and then she gives him a springboard DDT to the mat where she goes for the pin. 1...2...3! Bombshell scores a pin and now is in the driver's seat. She then rolls herself out of the ring while Sal and Malk rolls themselves back in. Sal and Malk get to their feet and start trading rights and lefts. Frank breaks that up by clotheslining them both down to the mat. Frank then boot chokes Sal Clemenzo and then boot chokes Malk right after. He then puts a boot on each throat and manages to boot choke them both with a sadistic smile on his face. Gary Barber is then seen making his way down the ramp to ringside and he crouches next to the ring steps which draws boos from the fans. Neriah Sweet - The fans don't like Gary Barber hiding out down here. Scavenger - Hey, there's no entrance music and everyone is occupied. I don't like the coward's way, but Gary knows he is running short on chances here. Bombshell rolls herself into the ring as JC gets to his feet and he gives Frank a knee to the spine followed by a German suplex to the mat into a back bridge. 1...2... Bombshell kicks JC in the head to break up the count. She then stands JC up, whips him into the corner buckle and then she whips Malk into JC. Malk then gives JC a hip toss to the mat and then levels Bombshell with a spear to the mat before he goes for the pin. 1...2...3! Malk is in control as we reach the final minute of the match. Neriah Sweet - Malk has a great chance to win his second match here. Scavenger - Agreed, if he can protect this result for less than one minute, he is in complete control. Gary Barber stays crouched at ringside, but he whistles and JC rolls himself towards the corner that Gary is in. Malk is trading rights and lefts with Sal in the opposite corner. Sal then gives Malk a snap suplex to the mat and then Sal jumps to the top rope while the fans cheer him on. Sal lands a moonsault on Malk and then he quickly jumps to the top rope and he lands a second while Gary Barber is seen rolling himself into the ring and going for the pin on JC. 1...2...3! Sal jumps to his feet as the clock is seen reaching the ten second mark, but the referee counted Gary's pin and not Sal's. Sal sees this and charges at Gary Barber, sending the two men out to the floor where they brawl as the bell sounds. Neriah Sweet - Gary Barber hid in the corner in the midst of that chaos and he got the win. Scavenger - Wow, I really don't like how he did it, but he and JC just showed why they have every advantage in the world as the EVC wins their second match in a row. They have all of the momentum now.
JC rolls himself out of the ring and he leg drops Sal to the back
of the head which allows Gary Barber to then get to his feet. JC and
Gary then stand on the ramp and high five one another before they
turn back to their opponents inside the ring, all stunned by what
just happened. Gary starts heading up the ramp while JC gives them
all the finger and then he starts to make his way up the ramp as
well. Ricky Simms - Rebella goes for the cheap and quick win. I guess she watched what Gary Barber just did in Boston. Henry Lesher - Don't hate them for being a success, Rick. Cassandra slowly gets to her feet as Rebella does the same. They then start trading punches, but Rebella eye gouges Cassandra and then whips her right off the stage and down into audio equipment lying on the floor. Rebella then flies off the stage and misses with a splash as Cassandra rolls out of the way and Rebella lands in a mess of wires and cables. Cassandra then takes an audio cord and starts strangling Rebella with it which draws cheers from the crowd. Rebella chokes for air as the referee looks for a possible submission here. Rebella refuses to submit and she then elbows Cassandra in the gut a few times to weaken the hold which then allows her to pull the cord away from and then off of her neck. Rebella then turns and spits in Cassie's face before giving her a punch to the side of the head. Rebella then gets to her feet and then whips Cassandra into the side of the stage before giving her a tilt a whirl suplex to the floor where she goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Cassandra. Ricky Simms - This is not your typical diva match here. Henry Lesher - No, but I still hate it. I hold no personal feelings against these worthless human beings, though. Rebella stands Cassandra up and then pulls her by the hair to the first row of fans. She grabs a paper cup from a young fan and then dumps its soda contents onto Cassandra before handing the cup back to the fan. Cassandra then headbutts Rebella and then picks her up and slams her to the floor. Cassandra then puts the boots to Rebella while the fans cheer her on. Cassandra then stands on Rebella's hair and then pulls on her arms, threatening to tear it all out by the roots while the referee checks for a submission. Rebella refuses to submit. Cassandra then steps off the hair, stands Rebella up and then gives her a knee to the gut before giving her a power bomb to the floor where she goes for the pin. 1...2... Rebella rolls a shoulder out. Ricky Simms - These divas are impressing me. Henry Lesher - Ricky, you have to wear pants or I am leaving. Ricky Simms - I'm wearing pants, Doc. Henry Lesher - Not the first time you've been told that, is it Rick? Cassandra stands Rebella up, then pulls her by the hair to the guard railing at ringside and then dumps her over it. Cassandra then steps over the railing to ringside and then she slaps Rebella across the face. Rebella answers with a slap of her own and then she slams Cassandra's face into the guard railing before she gives her a German suplex to the floor. Rebella then gets to her feet and climbs onto the ring steps and then she gives Cassandra a leg drop across the throat from there before she goes for the pin. 1...2... Cassandra rolls a shoulder out. Rebella has a few words with referee Mary Sanderson regarding the speed of the count. She then stands Cassandra up and goes for the whip into the ring steps, but Cassandra reverses it and sends Rebella shoulder first into the ring steps instead. Cassandra then picks up the ring steps and clocks Rebella across the top of the head with them, sending Rebella crashing to the floor. Cassandra then climbs onto the ring apron, poses for the fans and then turns towards the ring, jumps to the top rope and lands a springboard moonsault onto Rebella at ringside before she goes for the pin. 1...2...3! Cassandra O'Shea wins an impressive match over Rebella DeCesare! Ricky Simms - Amazing diva fight there. In fact, that's the best one I have seen in years. Henry Lesher - Please stop rubbing your feet as you watch this. Can I get a wall between Rick here and me? Ricky Simms - Just stop, Doc. Henry Lesher - Me stop? I'm not the one who needs a drool bucket.
Cassandra stands over Rebella, blood trickling down her cheek
from where her head struck the guard railing. She then starts to
make her way back up the ramp with her arms raised and waving to the
cheering fans while Rebella is looked over at ringside by the
referee.
We see the cage has been lowered in Boston and it's different
that previous triple cages have been. There is a metal ladder
attached to the side of it and there are latched doors between the
levels. The second and third cages have a steel mesh floor and the
top two cages are approximately eight feet tall, so they aren't as
high as one might have expected. The latched doors open up into the
cage above, the door hinged only to go up and not possibly fall into
the face of one of those involved in this match. It's a solid and
impressive structure. Paulie La Cerva - Tonight we have already seen some incredible action. Now I add another wrinkle to this night's action. You see, Malk, Sal, JC and Gary have all qualified for the match which follows this one. That ladder match will be something to behold. This triple cage match, however, will feature Frank Merritt, Bombshell and Moose who we have been told was medically cleared to wrestle. The winner between these three gets a spot in the next match, the ladder match, which will be for the Old School Title. Do I know how to book or what? The crowd cheers the decision as Paulie then walks off with a still distressed Drina. He wraps his arm around her as they head backstage and then the three cages on top of one another are lowered to the ring. We then see Frank Merritt, Bombshell and Moose all making their way to the ring. Moose has a bandage on his shoulder and one has to wonder about the state of his neck. All three make their way into the cage and the door is locked behind them. We then hear "Angry Again" by Megadeth and the crowd cheers as Deep Freeze comes out to be the guest referee for this match. He jogs down the ramp to ringside and then he is allowed into the cage which is then locked behind him. Neriah Sweet - A CWA legend makes a rare appearance in this one. Scavenger - He's a big guy. I don't see anyone intimidating him. Bombshell and Moose both attack Frank Merritt and then they give him a double vertical suplex to the mat. Bombshell then goes to the ropes and makes her way to the top. She leaps off and lands an elbow smash to the chest on Frank while Moose then gives Frank a knee to the gut. He and Bombshell then stands Frank up and whip him through the ropes and out to the floor. They drop and roll themselves out to the floor, stand Frank up and then they slam his face into the side of the cage. Frank is busted open in the same spot as before, though he's bleeding more profusely. Referee Deep Freeze checks the cut and asks Frank if he can continue. Frank responds by shoving the referee backward and then turns and headbutts Moose to the floor and then takes an eye gouge from Bombshell. Bombshell then headlocks Frank and jumps onto the steps with the intention of giving him a bulldog onto them. Instead, Frank throws Bombshell away from him and she crashes into the cage, the steel mesh scratching down her back. Frank then grabs her by the hair and then picks her up over his shoulder and he runs her face first right into the mesh on the side of the cage before he power slams her to the floor. He then stands over her as Moose charges at him and spears him into the side of the cage. Frank manages to headlock Moose out of that and he goes for the triangle choke on the defending champion. Neriah Sweet - If Frank locks in that choke, it's lights out for Moose and his hopes of retaining go out the window. Scavenger - Frank is the monster and Moose and Bombshell clearly agreed to work together to neutralize him early. It looks like that plan has failed. Bombshell slowly gets to her feet and she sees Frank trying to choke out Moose. Bombshell then puts the boots to Frank which allows Moose to break free of the hold. She then backs away as Moose starts trading punches with Frank Merritt and she looks to the ladder attached to the cage. She starts climbing up and manages to reach the door between the first and second cage before Moose spots her. He then jumps to the ladder and starts to climb as Bombshell disappears from the first cage into the second. A bloodied Frank Merritt then gets to his feet and starts to climb the ladder as well. Moose reaches the second cage and Bombshell greets him by putting the boots to him. Moose takes kicks to the face while Frank pulls on his feet from below. Moose loses his grip on the ladder and Frank flings him down to the floor in a heap before Merritt continues his climb towards the second cage. As he reaches the doorway, Bombshell tries to slam the mesh door into Frank's face, but he blocks that and punches it right back into Bombshell's face instead. Frank climbs into the second cage and shuts the door behind him and then he and Bombshell trade knife edge chops. Bombshell goes for a low blow, but Frank blocks it and then he picks her up and slams her to the mesh floor. Frank then stands on her chest while a smile crosses his face. Moose slowly gets to his feet on the floor in the first cage while grabbing at his back. Neriah Sweet - That was a nasty fall for Moose to take and he's already hurting tonight. Scavenger - He's a true warrior, though. He will never give up just because his body tells him to. Frank steps off of Bombshell, grabs her by the hair and stands her up. He then rakes her forehead along the side of the cage and says that's her welcome to a real fight. Frank then picks Bombshell up and slams her to the mesh, but she jumps to her feet and gives Frank a Bitch Kick to the head before they both fall in a heap to the mesh floor of the second cage. Moose then opens the door and manages to climb into the second cage before they have had a chance to recover. Moose then stands Frank up and then runs him face first into the side of the cage. Moose then picks Frank up and gives him a Moosedriver to the mesh which draws a huge cheer from the crowd, though Moose grabs at his neck and shoulder while screaming out in pain. Neriah Sweet - Moose is really hurting. Scavenger - He probably shouldn't even be out here after the attacks the EVC have carried out against him. They must be sitting backstage loving every moment of this. Bombshell gets to her hands and knees and then she sees Moose is in pain and she then places him in a nerve hold, counting on his weak shoulder to further wear the champ down. Moose screams in agony from the pain in his neck and shoulder while Frank slowly comes to and starts to pull himself to his feet. The fans start a chant for Moose as the champ clenches his fists and tries to find the strength to battle his way out of this hold. Frank sees his chance and he heads to the ladder to make his way to the top cage. He starts climbing and manages to open the door into the top cage. Bombshell is forced to release her hold on Moose in pursuit of Frank and she follows him into the third cage while Moose collapses to the steel mesh floor of the second cage. Neriah Sweet - Moose is on fumes here. How the hell can he even still be moving? Scavenger - He has been through hell for years. His body has been broken down, built up and broken down again. That's what makes a legend, Neriah. Frank stands in the third grade and smiles through a bloodied face at the hatch at the top of the third cage which leads the way to victory. His smile fades when Bombshell uses her arm to deliver a low blow on him. He doubles over and takes a DDT to the mesh floor of the third cage. Bombshell then heads towards the ladder which leads to victory, but Frank manages to snag her foot with his right hand and he holds on for dear life. Bombshell looks back, a pained expression on her bloodied face as she struggles to free herself. She takes her free foot and kicks Frank in the head. He then grabs that foot with his other hand and pulls the feet out from under her. Frank then places Bombshell in a full Nelson while both wrestlers are on their knees, both shedding a lot of blood as they do so. Moose slowly gets to his feet in the second cage and then starts making his way up the ladder into the third cage while the fans again chant his name. Neriah Sweet - Whoever wins this match will be at a huge disadvantage in the next battle as everyone else is getting a moment to rest. Scavenger - Yeah, this is brutal. I don't see the CWA putting its stars through this again for a long time. Moose enters the third cage and sees Frank with his hold on Bombshell. Moose then staggers towards the ladder leading to the top of the cage. Frank releases Bombshell and then he gets to his feet before spearing Moose in the back. Moose's head bounces off of the steel mesh and he is left again grabbing at his neck. Frank then stands over Moose and says he is ready to end Moose's career, a smile showing through the blood-spattered face of Frank Merritt. He goes for a leg drop to the back of the neck on Moose, but Moose manages to roll out of the way and Bombshell gives Frank another low blow, this time in the form of a punch to the sensitive area. Bombshell then spits blood at Frank before she gets to her feet. She then charges at Moose and goes for a running knee lift, but Moose avoids that, picks her up and gives her a black hole slam to the mesh floor of the third cage. Moose then goes to the ladder leading to the exit again. Frank again reaches out and prevents Moose from climbing the ladder, pulling him back to the mesh. Frank then gives Moose a German suplex onto the mesh. Frank then slowly gets to his feet before he heads to the ladder. Neriah Sweet - Frank is a few feet from the win here. Scavenger - This would be an amazing win for Frank. Frank starts to make his way up the ladder and opens the door to the top of the cage. Bombshell then grabs the feet of Frank Merritt and causes him to lose his footing. He falls down and straight onto Bombshell which causes them to land in a tangled and bloody heap. Moose grabs the bottom rung of the ladder and starts to make his way up. Moose then turns and kicks Frank in the face before Frank can grab him. Moose then takes a deep breath and pulls himself up as quickly as he can and he gets his arms onto the top of the cage before Bombshell reaches up and grabs his feet. Moose pulls with all he has and actually pulls Bombshell up off the floor of the third cage. He then falls onto the top of the cage and referee Deep Freeze calls for the bell. Neriah Sweet - What a win for Moose! Scavenger - All three wrestlers were amazing there and Moose comes out on top, literally.
Moose collapses on top of the cage and none of the three
wrestlers are moving as the fans give them a standing ovation for
their work in this match that is an instant classic. Sabrina Davidson - I grew up in this business. My father was the Inter-Continental champion in the CWA until 1984 when everything changed for him, for our family and things really took off for this company. There were eyebrows raised when I was given a job with this company as people wondered what I brought to the table which other divas and your cookie cutter backstage interviewers could not. I'm about to show you. Sabrina makes her way from the back yard into the spacious house it sits behind and we find Bruce Miller with his wife Shawna at the dinner table, both of them eating breakfast while Bruce reads the paper. Sabrina takes her seat at the table and smiles again. Sabrina Davidson - Bruce here has been a member of Dynasty for some time now and, while people understand that Bruce has been a friend of Shannon's for a long time, his story really hasn't been told. I may be a little biased in his favor, though. Bruce was the first boyfriend I ever had. Shawna Miller - What? Sabrina Davidson - But I digress.... Bruce, can you tell us how it all started for you? Bruce Miller - *nods and finishes his coffee* Sure, Sabrina, I can do that. See, there's been a lot of interest in the CWA over recent years and many of the fans now don't know the story of back then. Twenty-five years ago, when the CWA started its upswing and all, it was really Shannon and I who carried the company to its dizzying heights. I say that with no offense meant to your father, but wrestling around here needed some new talent. Sabrina Davidson - So you and Shannon filled that need. Bruce Miller - Yeah and I spent the first few years in my career in his shadow. He was always one spot ahead of me in the cards and going for the title just above the one I was going for. I got cheered, sure, but I was seen as his wingman. Recently, that has happened again. Sabrina Davidson - Have you and Shannon always been allies? Bruce Miller - *laughs* No, not in the slightest. At some point I grew tired of playing second fiddle and I wanted the world title, the one he had. Blair Drake, Shannon and I then had a triple threat cage match. Everyone expected Shannon and I to beat the holy hell out of him, but Blair managed to sow the seeds of doubt in my mind about my buddy and all hell broke loose. Sabrina Davidson - Which allowed Blair Drake to walk out with the title. Bruce Miller - In hindsight, I was a fool. Blair hit me with a chair, made it look like Shannon did it and he managed to escape the cage while I was fighting with Shannon about what had happened. When I saw Blair walking out with the belt, I snapped. I was on the dark side for awhile after that. Sabrina Davidson - What brought you back? Bruce Miller - Anarchy Inc. brought me back, though not as they intended. Night Dweller and Vesuvius were really trying to get me to align with either Dark Forces or Anarchy and I really enjoyed flying solo. The problem was, at the time, the CWA was all factions and I was getting my ass kicked by all sides. One night, I got jumped backstage and that started the turn back. Sabrina Davidson - Who jumped you? Bruce Miller - I came to and found they had tried to set Shannon up, but I knew who had hit me. I didn't have to see a 400 pounder hit me to know it was a 400 pounder that hit me, you know. It pissed me off. Vesuvius couldn't even do his own dirty work. He sent that piece of shit Sandman to do it for him. Sabrina Davidson - You might want to clarify that for younger fans... Bruce Miller - Sandman entered the CWA in 1992. He's not that beer crushing idiot from ECW. Sandman got his name honestly by the fact he was deadly with the sleeper hold in its various forms. Once he locked you in, you were done, thus the term Sandman. Oh, and he's no relation to a Marvel villain either. Sabrina Davidson - How did you respond to the attack? Bruce Miller - I was pissed, but I stewed on it. I came out every week, got myself a darker theme song in "The Memory Remains" by Metallica which was a tease. It meant I knew who hit me and I let them all sweat it out. I went to Shannon and told him I knew he hadn't done it, agreed to bury the hatchet after a year of feuding and then we set everything up. I called Vesuvius and told him I was willing to accept his offer. Vesuvius met me inside the ring with Everest, Sandman and Goliath all ready to accept me into the fold. Instead, I revealed that I knew Sandman had attacked me and I started fighting all of them. When Shannon came out with Scavenger to help me, the place exploded and I was way over with the crowd at that point. Sabrina Davidson - Which led to your first title reign. Bruce Miller - *nodding* I finally scaled the mountain and stood on top. It was weird. I had made it, won awards from the fans and all. I spent the next five years on top with a total of six title reigns along the way. Sabrina Davidson - And now? Bruce Miller - I've somehow been lost in the shuffle. That doesn't bother me yet though. Sabrina Davidson - Care to play word association? I mention a wrestler and you give me one word to describe them. Bruce Miller - Sure. Sabrina Davidson - Shannon Skanes. Bruce Miller - Resilient. Sabrina Davidson - Myst. Bruce Miller - Sneaky. Sabrina Davidson - Moose. Bruce Miller - Respected. Sabrina Davidson - JC Michaels. Bruce Miller - Dangerous. Sabrina Davidson - Sal Clemenzo. Bruce Miller - Company man. Sabrina Davidson - That was two words. Bruce Miller - Sue me. Sabrina Davidson - Well, Bruce, I have taken enough of your time. Enjoy your day and we'll be seeing you again soon. Bruce Miller - My pleasure.
Sabrina Davidson - *to the camera* That's it for me. Let's get
back to the action! Paulie La Cerva - It has come to this point, fans. The Old School Title will be on the line and the winner of this match will get their chance to become the world champ as the winner of this match is automatically in the final. Now, as every man in this match has won once tonight, that means they all deserve their chance to compete for the spot in the final against the Old School champ. Immediately after the Old School Title has been decided here, the other four competitors will then enter the ring and a battle royal will determine who gets that other spot in the final match of the night. I think that's only fair and may the best man win. Paulie then exits the stage while his music plays again and the crowd is cheering for another announcement that they agree with. No sooner has he disappeared through the curtain than we hear "Rag Doll" by Aerosmith and Lance Armond comes out onto the stage with valet Sugar as CWA stars from the 90s make their way into the stage where fans who recall them cheer. Armond waves to the fans with Sugar on his arm, both apparently ready to referee this match for the Old School Title. Neriah Sweet - It seems appropriate that "Loverboy" Lance will referee this fight as he is an old school wrestler. Scavenger - Lance is a CWA Original and he and Sugar will call a fair match. Armond steps through the ropes into the ring and Sugar takes her place at ringside while Armond's music fades. We then hear "Hollow Man" by The Hollow Men and Gary Barber comes out with JC Michaels onto the stage where they receives loud boos from the crowd. They pay no attention to the fans as they discuss their strategy for this match. They then step up onto the apron and step through the ropes into the ring where they have a few words with the guest referee. Armond gets a threat from JC about calling it fairly and Lance just chuckles and backs away from them while their music fades out. We then hear "Halls of Fear" by Nino Rota and Sal Clemenzo comes out with the Old School Title over his shoulder. He holds the title belt high and the fans cheer as he makes his way down the ramp to ringside. Sal then hands the title belt to the timekeeper and then pulls himself onto the apron. He steps through the ropes and then takes his place in a different corner than JC and Gary. His music then fades and we hear "Voices" by Rev Theory and Malk comes out to another loud ovation tonight. He charges down the ramp and slips under the bottom rope into the ring and then he jumps to his feet and takes a spot in one of the only empty corner. His music then fades and we hear "Where Eagles Dare" by The Misfits plays and The Moose comes out to a loud ovation. He is bandaged, bruised and has his shoulder bandaged as he makes his way down the ramp. The crowd starts to chant his name. Neriah Sweet - Moose is in this match, but I don't see how he has a chance against these four rested wrestlers. Scavenger - Hey, they didn't fight in the triple cage match, but these guys are all hurting. Moose steps up onto the apron, steps through the ropes into the ring and the referee calls for the bell to get the match started. Gary Barber and JC Michaels attack Moose, giving him a double clothesline to the mat. Gary and JC start putting the boots to Moose while Sal quickly rolls himself out to the floor and grabs a ladder at ringside. Sal then slides the ladder into the ring where it is grabbed by Malk and he sets it up under the title belt before he tries to sprint up after it. JC Michaels then heads up after him and then places him on his shoulders before giving him an electric chair to the mat. Moose gets to his feet where Gary Barber gives him a kick to the ribs and then places him in a hammerlock which puts extra pressure on the sore shoulder and neck of Moose. Neriah Sweet - The EVC is trying to dissect Moose tonight, tearing him down a little bit at a time. Scavenger - It's a train wreck, but they planned it this way. They targeted Moose and they are trying to finish what they started. It's worth noting his one win tonight was in a match they were not a part of. Sal Clemenzo starts to make his way up the ladder, but JC Michaels grabs his feet and pulls him down off the ladder before ramming Sal's forehead into it. JC then folds the ladder up, brings it down and carries it, clocking Sal with it and then he does the same to Malk before turning and then taking a run at Moose with it. Moose breaks free of Barber's hold and the ladder hits Barber in the face instead of Moose, who shoulder rolls out of the corner. Moose then rolls himself out of the ring to the floor and he grabs a ladder at ringside and slips it under the bottom rope into the ring. He then rolls himself in and takes a kick to the head from Malk. Malk then picks Moose up and slams him onto the ladder while JC Michaels sets the first ladder up under the belt again. He starts to make his way up the ladder as Sal Clemenzo gets to his feet. Sal then shoves the ladder and it falls sideways, sending JC Michaels right over the top rope and down to the floor which draws cheers from the crowd. Neriah Sweet - The EVC had it all together at the start, but now they look out of it. Scavenger - Even though there are two of them, this is a ladder match and there are five wrestlers in it. It's very difficult to maintain dominance in these conditions. Sal sets the ladder up under the belt again and then puts a foot on the bottom rung to start making his way up. Instead, Malk gives Sal a kidney punch and then gives him a side Russian leg sweep to the mat. Gary Barber then takes advantage by putting the boots to Malk on the mat. Barber then grabs the second ladder which Moose has slid into the ring and he slams it down onto the ribs of both Sal and Malk which draws boos from the crowd. Barber then starts to make his way up the first ladder only to be grabbed by Moose who gives barber a choke slam to the mat off the ladder. Moose then ducks a clothesline attempt from JC Michaels, kicks him in the ribs and then gives him a gutwrench suplex onto Gary Barber. Moose then starts to make his way up the ladder while the fans cheer him on. Malk gets to his feet and he starts up the ladder after Moose. He starts punching Moose in the back as Sal starts to climb the ladder from the other side. Moose kicks Malk in the head to knock him off the ladder and then Moose makes his way to the top only to take an eye gouge from Sal Clemenzo who then slams his head into the top of the ladder. Moose then sets Sal up and gives him a vertical suplex off the top of the ladder and they both crash to the mat below with a thud. The crowd cheers their exchange and all five wrestlers are down. Neriah Sweet - I really don't see how anyone has the energy left to win this match. Scavenger - I agree. This is insanity on a new scale. Malk gets to his feet and he pulls himself over to the ladder where Gary Barber joins him. They start trading punches to the head and then Gary slams Malk's face into the bottom rung of the ladder. Gary then starts to pull himself up the ladder, but Malk grabs Gary around the throat and then gives him a choke slam to the mat. Malk then stands over Gary for a moment, catching his breath before he turns his attention back to the ladder. Malk takes a step up onto the ladder and takes a forearm smash to the back from JC Michaels who then turns Malk around and eye gouges him before picking him up and slamming him onto the mat. JC then starts to make his way up the ladder and Sal gets to his feet on the mat. Sal dropkicks the side of the ladder and JC sails over the top rope and out to the floor for the second time in this match. The crowd cheers as Sal then adjusts the ladder so it is beneath the title belt again. Neriah Sweet - JC is getting frequent flyer miles tonight. Scavenger - Well, either that or he's taking flying lessons courtesy of Sal Clemenzo. Sal starts up the ladder on one side and we see Moose slowly dragging himself up the other side of the ladder, despite all of the punishment that Moose's body has taken. We then see Frank Merritt rushing down the ramp to the ring. He slides in under the bottom rope and then he spears the ladder onto its side, sending Sal and Moose down to the mat. Frank then goes to Gary Barber and helps him to his feet. Neriah Sweet - What the hell is going on here? Scavenger - It looks like Frank is helping the EVC out here. JC rolls himself into the ring and cracks a huge smile when he sees Frank helping Gary up. JC then sets the ladder up under the title belt and he starts up the ladder to retrieve it. Gary starts up the other side of the ladder. Frank shouts something to JC and both EVC members reach the top of the ladder. They both reach for the title and Malk then shoves the ladder over so that they both tumble out to the floor and the crowd cheers. Frank picks Malk up and power bombs him to the mat. Sal then charges at Frank and Frank gives him a heart punch down to the mat while Moose rolls himself out of the ring and grabs a steel chair. Moose rolls himself back into the ring behind Frank as Malk gets to his feet only to take a heart punch from Frank. Moose then clocks Frank with repeated chair shots over the head, then sets the chair up on the mat and then gives Frank a DDT on it. Moose then sets the ladder up under the title belt and then takes a deep breath before he starts up the ladder. JC and Gary roll themselves into the ring as Moose reaches the top and Gary and JC push the ladder out from underneath Moose. Moose is dangling from the belt and he quickly unlatches it before he falls to the mat and referee Lance Armond calls for the bell. Neriah Sweet - Moose is the new Old School champ! Scavenger - Right now, the man holds two title belts. This is insane. Frank Merritt appears to have joined the EVC and nearly got them a title belt there. Moose rolls himself out to the floor while Gary and JC put the boots to him and the referee again calls for the bell to start the second part of this match, the one that determines who gets to fight Moose in the final match tonight. JC and Gary shout towards Moose on the floor as Sal Clemenzo and Malk slowly get to their feet inside the ring. They then stand Frank up and whip him through the ropes and out to the floor before they turn their attention towards Gary and JC. Gary pairs off with Malk and JC pairs off with Sal as the four wrestlers trade punches in the middle of the ring. JC eye gouges Sal and whips him over the top rope, but Sal manages to land on the apron. Sal then shoulder blocks JC through the ropes while Gary Barber knees Malk in the gut and then whips him over the top rope and out to the floor. Sal manages to steps back into the ring and then he gives JC a backdrop over the top rope and out to the floor. Sal then stands in the middle of the ring with Gary Barber and the two start jawing at one another. Neriah Sweet - One of these two will face Moose for the world title in a few moments. Scavenger - Mind games on both sides here and I couldn't call the winner here if you paid me to. Sal and Gary start trading punches and the crowd cheers as Sal then gives Gary Barber a series of knife edge chops to back Gary to the corner where he then gives him a series of shoulder blocks. Gary Barber answers with a knee lift to the head on Sal and then goes for a hip toss over the top rope, but Sal blocks it and then rakes the eyes of Gary Barber along the top rope. Sal then whips Gary off the ropes and ducks his head for the back drop, but Gary instead gives Sal an upper cut to the jaw and then picks him up and carries him to the ropes. Sal holds on to the top rope and refuses to be thrown out of the match while Frank Merritt rolls himself into the ring with the intention of helping Gary Barber. Referee Lance Armond holds frank off while Moose jumps onto the apron and then he punches Gary Barber in the face before JC pulls Moose off of the apron to the floor. JC starts brawling with Moose while Sal fights his way down off of Gary Barber's shoulders. The guest referee continues holding Frank back and then opts to throw Frank down to the mat before rolling him out to the floor where the other guest referee, Sugar, sprays Frank in the eyes with mace. Neriah Sweet - So much for Frank helping his new ally there. Scavenger - Sugar is a tough woman. She may look all sweet and the name seems to support that, but don't be deceived. Sal again whops Gary Barber off the ropes and then gives him a backdrop over the top rope and down to the floor which causes the referee to call for the bell as Sal Clemenzo is announced as the other finalist in tonight's main event. Neriah Sweet - Sal will face Moose in what should be a fantastic final! Scavenger - No doubt about that one.
Neriah Sweet - But we are going to take a short break while they
clear the debris and bodies from ringside in preparation for that
final clash. We are outside the arena with Vesuvius, fans crowded around the big man who is grinning from ear to ear. Vesuvius - So I am outside of the arena in Boston where we just witnessed Moose and Sal Clemenzo proving themselves to be heroes. People wonder why I have not been around? Heroes are here now. Finally, men are standing up for themselves and showing they are warriors, proving what true heroes are in the face if adversity. But that's not why we are here now. Vesuvius makes his way around a row of black pink up trucks and we see the Anarchy Angels all drinking beer with fans while having quite the party for themselves. Vesuvius - Laura Strong, sister of Scavenger. I loathe that man. Regina Parizi, out of wedlock daughter of Tony Parizi. I loathe that man as well. Sharon Miller, sister of Bruce Miller. I loathe that man as well. See, I admit I am a petty man and these ladies will be at tailgate parties in CWA parking lots from this day forward. It's just because I like to take the royalty among the CWA Originals and poke fun at them. If it makes people squirm a little and makes them uncomfortable, I am for it. If people want bra and panty matches, I vote for completely nude matches. If people want to see hardcore wrestling, I vote for the ring to be on fire. If people want a 60 minute Iron Man match, I want two hours and no rules, falls count anywhere. I am about pushing the envelope. I may not be inside the ring right now, but I intend to stir things up. Watch for it. Wait for it. Starting with Bloodshed, Anarchy Rules will be in full effect. Crystal Braun - *as she steps into the shot* My father hates me being with this man. He hates it a lot. It warms my heart. It really does.
Vesuvius - That warms my heart as well, beautiful. Yeah, this is
the CWA... but we all know Anarchy rules. Moose and Sal stand across from each other inside the ring. We then hear "All of Your Base Belong To Us" by Invasion of the Gabber Bots and Q makes his way out onto the stage wearing a referee's shirt. The crowd cheers on Q while both Sal and Moose look unimpressed with the choice of the special guest referee for tonight's main event. Moose actually gets in Q's face as he enters the ring and they have words. Sal gets in between them and then he has a few words with Moose. Moose and Sal then start trading punches while Q calls for the bell to officially start the match for the world title. Sal whips Moose off the ropes and then gives him a dropkick back down to the mat. Neriah Sweet - Here we are, the main event! Henry Lesher - About time! Scavenger - What the.... Lesher? Henry Lesher - Yeah, you guys are so bad at this that I am being fed in to your show via audio from New York. Sal stands Moose up, whips him into the corner buckle and then lands a running splash in the corner on Moose who staggers out of the corner and then does a faceplant to the mat. Sal then applies an STF on Moose which causes incredible stress to the injured neck and shoulder of the defending champ. Moose refuses to submit when asked by Q and Moose in fact reaches towards the ropes with his free hand. The fans start a chant for Moose. Moose then turns himself towards the ropes and manages to snag the bottom rope which forces the break. Sal releases the hold on Moose and Moose rolls himself out to the floor. Moose is seen grabbing at his injured shoulder while ringside fans cheer for him to continue. Moose then pulls himself onto the apron where Sal greets him with a series of rights and lefts to the side of the head. Moose then grabs the head of Sal and drops off the apron, managing the slingshot the throat of Clemenzo off the top rope and sending him falling backwards to the mat. Neriah Sweet - Impressive move by Moose who is running on fumes here. Scavenger - It's that warrior spirit. Henry Lesher - Oh, give me a break. The real wrestlers were eliminated when the EVC were robbed tonight. Moose rolls himself under the bottom rope into the ring and then he applies a cross face chicken wing on Sal Clemenzo. Referee Q then checks for a submission from Sal, but he refuses to give up even as Moose tries to strengthen his hold. Moose has a few words with Q again while holding onto Sal. Sal then reaches out and manages to grab the middle rope to force the break. Moose releases Sal, then stands him up and whips him into the corner. Moose then gives Sal a kick to the gut and then gives him a slingshot suplex to the middle of the ring. Both men lie on their backs for a moment trying to catch their breath. Referee Q starts counting them both down, but they are quick to roll and jump to their feet where they stand nose to nose again. They then start trading kicks and punches while the fans choose sides. Sal eye gouges Moose and whips him off the ropes and then misses with a dropkick as Moose holds on to the top rope. Neriah Sweet - Sal misjudged that one. Scavenger - More smart wrestling from Moose. Henry Lesher - Smart looks a lot like lucky to me. Moose then lands a knee drop to the chest on Sal before he goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Sal Clemenzo. Moose then stands Sal up, whips him off the ropes and levels him to the mat with a clothesline. Moose then goes to the corner buckle and climbs to the second rope. He leaps off and lands a scissor kick to the back of the neck on Sal Clemenzo, sending him face first to the mat where Moose then rolls him over for another pin attempt. 1...2... kick out again by Sal and Moose slaps the mat in frustration. He has further words with Q as he stands Sal Clemenzo up. Moose whips Sal off the ropes and Sal ducks a clothesline from Moose and then picks him up and slams him to the mat. Sal then goes to the corner and jumps to the top rope. The crowd cheers as he lands the Contract Hit on Moose and then hooks the leg for the pin. 1...2...3! Sal Clemenzo wins and is the new CWA champion! Neriah Sweet - We have a new champion! Scavenger - Moose held that title for five months, but we have a new champ in Sal Clemenzo! Henry Lesher - He gets a pass at Bloodshed since Max is the number one contender. I imagine Myst and Paulie will take a look at that mistake. Neriah Sweet - Sal is deserving of the title win tonight and what a night this was. Scavenger - It was an honor to call these matches with you tonight, Neriah. We witnessed CWA history here. Henry Lesher - Oh, just kiss and get it over with. I thought Rick was a butt kisser. Sal rolls himself out of the ring to the floor while Moose stays down on the mat, his body simply too broken to move right now. Sal grabs the World Title belt from the timekeeper's table and then he raises it and tells the camera that this belt is for Cassie. He clutches it to his chest as the fans cheer him on. Neriah Sweet - What a way to close out the show. I cannot wait to see how this plays out next week on Overdrive. Sal again holds the belt high as we fade to black and the show comes to a close. |
