November 1, 2009 Chelsea Anderson - Greetings, CWA fans and we are set to present to you another edition of Overdrive. It's a turbulent time as Hulk Hogan opts to duck the CWA and goes to TNA instead. I guess Shengee Shmelky will have to wait on that feud for a week longer. Hey. speaking of Shengee, this was a rough week for him. RC Pride opted to challenge Health Care Crisis and chose Olivia Maine as her tag partner. That's right, fans, Olivia has annulled his marriage to Ingee Shmelky and has gone back to her maiden name. She stated that this was due to Ingee's reluctance to consummate the marriage and I'll jut take her word for that. Let's see how this match turned out. We see RC Pride inside the ring, Martina Garcia putting the boots to her. Martina then pulls RC Pride by the hair to her corner and tags in Selena. Selena and Martina stand RC up, whip her off the ropes and RC ducks a double clothesline and then she clotheslines Selena to the mat before ducking a right from Martina and then gives her a superkick that sends her through the ropes and out to the floor. RC then stands Selena up, whips her off the ropes and dropkicks her to the mat and then rolls to her corner and tags in Olivia Maine. Olivia climbs the ropes and then leaps off and lands a flying elbow smash to the throat on Selena before rolling back to tag RC in again. RC leaps to the top rope and then lands a shooting star press onto Selena before hooking the leg for the pin. 1...2...3! RC and Olivia get the win this week. We go back to the studio where Chelsea is shaking her head. Chelsea Anderson - Ingee came to he ring with flowers moments after that and Olivia left him standing there. You have to feel for a guy getting that kind of public humiliation. We moved on from that to Magnus and his challenge to run the gauntlet on Anarchy Inc. This seemed foolish to many and maybe it was. He ran through Orlock first, then Kindred and then took down Arizona before Vesuvius was the last man into the ring. Magnus was on the verge of something big, which usually means there will be a roadblock. We return to the ring and see Magnus trading punches with Vesuvius. Magnus then gives Vesuvius a series of forearm smashes to the jaw and backs him into the ropes before giving him a headbutt and then whipping him off the ropes. Vesuvius ducks a clothesline and then goes for a reverse neckbreaker which is blocked by Magnus. Magnus then kicks Vesuvius in the back of the knee before going for an inverted DDT when he is attacked from behind by Samson. Samson chair shots Magnus to the back of the head and then Vesuvius spears Magnus to the mat while Kronos Shmelky then slides under the bottom rope into the ring as the newest member of Anarchy Inc. The three of them are then sent scattering when Noah Skanes, Bruce Miller and Carl Simms hit the ring and all are carrying baseball bats. They stand over Magnus while Anarchy is in full retreat. We return to the studio where Chelsea is smiling. Chelsea Anderson - Nice to see that Magnus found a little support there. This battle just seems to be getting more intense every week. Once that was cleared, the way was set for Steve Hawkins to represent ESW against Gary Barber. Hawkins stood inside the ring and, instead of having a match, the lights went out and only came back up to reveal Hawkins out cold and bloodied on the mat. His wife Jen came out panicked and we can only guess who might have perpetrated such an attack. Word has it that next week will see the reuniting of Hawkins and Blair Drake with former manager Olivia Maine as Team SOB. That should be interesting if it proves to be true. Now, you're up to date on the stuff you normally don't see, so let's head to the show! "Burn It to the Ground"
by Nickelback plays as we see images of Moose, Tommy Purr, Jack
Spade, Gerard Angelo, Rose Lemieux, Gary Barber, Hoshi Yakamoto,
Malk, Greyson Blaze, 6Pac Dudley, and Scavenger before we head to
ringside where Ricky Simms and Henry Lesher are ready to call the
action. Ricky Simms - Rose really should not be out here. Henry Lesher - None of them belong inside a ring, Rick. That never stopped them before. Kaleigh locks up with Kira and then shoves Kira down to the mat. Kira quickly gets back to her feet and locks up with Kaleigh again, then shoves her down to the mat. Kira then gives Kaleigh a series of knife edge chops which back her into the ropes. Kira then whips Kaleigh off the ropes and then gives her a round house kick back down to the mat. Kira then tags in Hoshi. The sisters stands Kaleigh up, whip her off the ropes and then gives her a double dropkick to the mat. Kaleigh rolls towards her corner, and then suddenly rolls away from it while shaking her head. Ricky Simms - I talked with Kaleigh earlier tonight. She said she will only tag Rose in if she absolutely has to. Henry Lesher - She isn't very smart, though Rick. She may not know which one Rose is. Hoshi stands Kaleigh up, whips Kaleigh into the corner buckle and then goes for a shoulder block. Kaleigh steps out of the way and then gives Hoshi a knee lift to the gut followed by a snap suplex to the mat and then she goes for the quick pin. 1...2... kick out by Hoshi. Kaleigh stands Hoshi up, then places her in a full Nelson. The referee check for a submission, but Hoshi refuses to give up. Hoshi then stretches her hands high over her head and tries to wriggle free of the hold. Kira is heard cheering Hoshi on while she then drops out of the hold and mule kicks Kaleigh in the chest and sends her falling backward into the corner. Hoshi then lands a running dropkick to the chest on the down Kaleigh. Hoshi then pulls Kaleigh out of the corner and goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Kaleigh. Hoshi then pulls Kaleigh to her corner and tags in Kira. Ricky Simms - This isn't good. She needs to be able to tag out or the Yakamoto girls will get the win here. Henry Lesher - That alone should cause retirement. Kira steps into the ring and then gives Kaleigh a series of double axe handle smashes to the back. She then whips Kaleigh off the ropes and Rose makes the blind tag to get into the match. Rose charges into the ring and takes a superkick to the throat from Kira who looks horrified as Rose falls to the mat clutching at her throat and the referee waves for the bell immediately. The fans are hushed as EMT members make their way to the ring quickly while Kathy slips under the bottom rope into the ring. She stands nose to nose with Kira, who states she didn't realize it was Rose until she had kicked her. Kira apologizes to Kathy while Kaleigh is seen tearing up over her partner. Ricky Simms - Rose really needed to stay out of the ring and now further damage may have been done. Henry Lesher - If it keeps her out of the ring, I am all for it. The fans are hushed as a
neck brace is placed on Rose and she is laid down on a stretcher.
Wyatt Gibson - Got a minute? Shannon Skanes - Is this about Pikachu? Wyatt Gibson - I have not been able to find the identity of the man responsible and Malk is planning to rip my lungs out through my nose. Shannon Skanes - I heard about that. Wyatt Gibson - Malk scares the hell out of me and I can't find Cory Chavelle. Shannon Skanes - Yeah, you actually have to pay bodyguards or they'll ditch you. I thought you would know that. Wyatt Gibson - Maybe with Halloween being over, this whole Pikachu thing is over too. Shannon Skanes - If it is, you're off scot free. If it isn't, I have really enjoyed having you on staff for the past two weeks andit will be hard to replace you. Wyatt Gibson - That's not funny. Shannon Skanes - I never
said it was funny. Ricky Simms - Jack's a complete ass. Henry Lesher - He's growing on me. Ricky Simms - I rest my case. Jack waits for Bombshell to get to her feet and then "In Da Club" by 50 Cent plays as Gerard Angelo runs onto the stage and then races down the ramp faster than Warrior ever dreamed. Angelo then slips under the bottom rope into the ring and then starts brawling with Spade as they trade punches and kicks. Angelo ducks a right from Spade, gives him an atomic drop and then shoves him head first in the corner buckle before giving him a German suplex to the mat. Bombshell rolls under the bottom rope into the ring and the referee calls for the bell to officially start the match. Gerard then rolls Bombshell into a school boy for the quick pin. 1...2... kick out by Bombshell. Gerard gets to his feet only to take a knee to the gut from a quickly recovered Spade. Spade then eye gouges Angelo before raking his eyes along the top rope. Spade then gives Angelo a side Russian leg sweep to the mat and goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Gerard Angelo. Bombshell then kips up to her feet and kicks Jack in the face, sending him somersaulting backwards and right through the ropes and out to the floor. Ricky Simms - Nice recovery by Yvonne there. Henry Lesher - You're not looking at her recovery, Rick. Bombshell stands Gerard Angelo up, whips him into the corner and then goes for a monkey flip, but Gerard shoves her off and then gives her a knee lift to the face before giving her a tilt a whirl backbreaker and then he goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Bombshell. Gerard stands Bombshell up, whips her off the ropes and then backdrops her to the mat. She manages to land on her feet and then dropkicks Gerard in the back, sending him falling forward through the ropes and out to the floor. Bombshell then takes a chop block by Jack Spade as he slips back into the ring. Spade then applies an ankle lock submission hold on Bombshell. Gerard gets to his feet on the floor and then slips back into the ring. Jack releases the hold and ducks a clothesline attempt by Angelo and then gives him a chop block as well. A fan in the front row then stands and call out to Jack. Ricky Simms - That's Bishop! Henry Lesher - She failed at life already. Why the hell is she here? Jack spots Bishop and has a few words for her. Angelo then rolls Jack into a small package for the pin attempt. 1...2...3! Gerard Angelo gets the Bishop Spade aided victory as the fans cheer. Jack Spade jumps to his feet and has words with the referee and then drops out of the ring and goes to where he saw Bishop. In her place is another blonde, but not Bishop. Jack asks were Bishop is and the blonde shrugs. Certain he saw her, he yells at other nearby fans and they simply shrug in his direction. Jack picks up a chair at ringside and throws it into the ring, barely missing Bombshell. He then storms off up the ramp while Gerard is congratulated on his win, Bombshell shaking her head and yet offering to shake Gerry's hand. He shakes his head and ducks out of the ring. Ricky Simms - Jack thinks he might be seeing things and Gerry is your winner. Henry Lesher - How does
this happen? The security here is a joke. Ray Dees - It would seem the Originals were busy before tonight's televised portion got going. Bruce Miller - Anarchy wanted to go with the numbers game, so they got what they had coming to them. Steve Hawkins - Who the hell knocked me out? Ray Dees - Speculation is that it could have been a member of ESW who doesn't want you wrestling in their honor. Steve Hawkins - That's my call, not theirs. That was my match to win. Gary Barber steps into the shot with a grin on his face, Gary Barber - Shame about the match tonight. Steve Hawkins - Sure you are. I challenge you for next week then. Gary Barber - Oh, sorry about that. I actually just received a challenge an I had to accept it. I am a fighting champion, after all. You were one in UWN what, five years ago? Bruce Miller - Okay, guys, settle down. Steve Hawkins - Team SOB against you and Rebella. Gary Barber - Wow, no, not the match I have in mind here. Rose wants a match with me and I said yes, but Hoshi wants to make it a handicap match to protect Rose? Anyhow, it seemed curious, so I agreed to it. Bruce Miller - Holy crap, Gary! Rose is in no shape to fight! Gary Barber - That's not my problem. I am a fighting champion, you know. Maybe Hoshi can fight Rose's battle for her next Sunday. Steve Hawkins - I don't understand why fans chose to support you against anyone in this company. Gary Barber - I win matches, Bruce. I know you may not be deft at that yourself, but that's hardly my fault. Gary moves on while
everyone else shake their heads in his direction. Ricky Simms - Scavenger has to face his wife as the referee again in this one. Henry Lesher - Once again, I am really hoping that he wins. That's just weird. Greyson stands Scavenger up, whips him off the ropes and backdrops him to the mat. Greyson then knee drops Scavenger to the forehead and then goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Scavenger. Greyson then pulls Scavenger to his corner and tags in Malk. Malk steps into the ring and he and Greyson stands Scavenger up, whip him off the ropes and then give him a double chin kick that sends him down to the mat. Malk then gives Scavenger an elbow smash to the chest before going for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Scavenger. Malk stands Scavenger up, whips him off the ropes and Scavenger ducks a clothesline before giving Malk a series of rights and lefts to the head before he then pulls Malk to his corner where he tags in 6Pac. 6Pac enters the ring and gives Malk a headbutt before he then spears Malk to the mat. Ricky Simms - Good to have 6Pac back among the CWA family here. Henry Lesher - If you say so. I mean, it means people in Hamilton almost watch us, I guess. 6Pac picks Malk up and lams him to the mat and then he goes to the ropes. 6Pac climbs to the top rope and then leaps off and misses a flying elbow smash when Malk rolls out of the way. Malk then jumps to his feet and stands 6Pac up only to take a jawbreaker from Dudley. 6Pac then rakes Malk's eyes along the top rope and then whips him into the corner buckle and then gives him a running shoulder block. 6Pac then snap mares Malk to the middle of the ring and applies a sleeperhold. The referee checks for a submission. Scavenger shouts at his wife to ring the bell while Greyson is heard cheering his partner on to fight the hold. Ricky Simms - Scavenger is desperate to end this continuing storyline with his wife. Henry Lesher - I want it to end, too. Maybe he should retire. Malk refuses to submit and Scavenger shakes his head from the apron. He then drops off the ring apron and retrieves his trusty chair from ringside. Scavenger then slips under the bottom rope into the ring and gets to his feet and sets himself to drill Malk with the chair. 6Pac shakes his head and warns Scavenger not to do this. Scavenger then clocks 6Pac with the chair and forces his wife to call for the bell. He then raises his arms, believing he won by DQ. When Sammy Jo Johnson announces the match is a no contest, Scavenger protests the call. Ricky Simms - What the hell is wrong with him? He thought decking his partner with the chair would give him a DQ win by helping the other team? Henry Lesher - At least that's over. Scavenger argues with a confused Lauren while Greyson slips into the ring and then decks Scavenger with a clothesline. He then motions to Sammy Jo Johnson for the microphone. Greyson Blaze - Okay, clearly this is not a good ending to this fight tonight. I wanted to let everyone know I am close to finding the name of the person who has been dressing as Pikachu in recent weeks, even took steps to prevent that person from being here tonight. In two weeks, Malk and I are due to have a Hardcore Title match. Next week, I propose a four corners match between everyone here. If Scavenger or 6Pac can pin myself or Malk, then they will join us in the title match at Scorched Earth.
Greyson tosses the microphone out of the
ring and makes his exit, his opponents all seeming to support this
idea. Tommy Purr - I have a match in a second and a half here. Can't this wait? Steve Hawkins - I have a simple challenge for you and Bombshell next week. Team SOB against the two of you. Tommy Purr - This is regarding ESW right? Steve Hawkins - Yeah, and it is a straight up challenge, no hidden agenda to this. Tommy Purr - You're on. Steve Hawkins - Good luck out there tonight, Tommy. Tommy Purr - Thanks.
Tommy makes his exit from the locker room
and we return to the ring for tonight's main event. Ricky Simms - Now that we know it is Dante under that mask, it makes a lot of sense. The mental anguish, the unpredictability, and just his overall demeanor all add up now. Henry Lesher - As a Dante fan, it should be noted I always liked him under as The Mask as well. Mask knees Tommy in the gut and then gives him an inverted atomic drop before giving him a series of knife edge chops into the corner. Mask then whips Tommy off the ropes and gives him a dropkick to the mat. Mask then goes to the corner buckle and climbs to the top rope and then leaps off, landing a flying knee drop to the forehead on Tommy. Mask then stands Tommy up and whips him off the ropes and then misses with a clothesline when Tommy ducks it and then gives The Mask a series of rights and lefts that back him into the ropes. Tommy then clotheslines The Mask over the top rope and out to the floor. Ricky Simms - The action heads out of the ring here as we are crowning our first Superior champion. Henry Lesher - This is a great way to start the title's history, with a real champion. Tommy slips out to the floor and then puts the boots to The Mask. Tommy then stands The Mask up, then whips him into the steel corner post shoulder first. Tommy then slams Mask's head into the glass chamber, causing it to shake. Mask answers with a knee to the gut on Tommy and then slams his head into the glass chamber surrounding their ring. Mask then rolls Tommy back into the ring before doing the same himself. Mask then kicks Tommy in the gut, then stands Tommy up, whips him into the corner buckle and then gives him a backdrop to the mat. The Mask then climbs the ropes and then waits for Tommy to stand and then lands a flying body press to the mat on Tommy. The Mask then gets to his feet and puts the boots to Tommy. Ricky Simms - Mask trying to knock the wits out of Tommy which is required to win the match tonight. Henry Lesher - I am just glad to see this match taking place. Mask places Tommy's throat over the bottom rope and then chokes him with it. The referee threatens to disqualify The Mask and then Mask releases the choke, stands Tommy up and whips him off the ropes before giving him a superkick to the chin that sends him down to the mat. The referee then starts counting Tommy down. Mask nods his head with each count by the referee. At the five count, Tommy gets to his hands and knees. The Mask then gives Tommy a series of rights and lefts and then stands him up and takes a knee to the gut from Tommy who then hip tosses The Mask over the top rope and back out to the floor. Ricky Simms - This match is back outside the ring again. Henry Lesher - That's where great matches go. Tommy takes a few steps back and then he launches himself on The Mask once he gets to his feet, sending The Mask to the floor. Tommy then stands The Mask up, headbutts him and then tries to whip The Mask into the chamber. The Mask plants his feet and then whips Tommy into the glass chamber hard enough to crack it. Tommy then knees Mask in the gut and whips him into the glass chamber and it gives way, glass shattering everywhere while the fans cheer loudly at its demise. Ricky Simms - It's a good thing that glass is made to shatter and doesn't fall in shards. Henry Lesher - Well, it still would hurt like hell, Rick. Tommy sits on his hands and knees while the referee counts down The Mask. On the six count, The Mask gets to his hands and knees. Tommy then kicks him in the gut. Tommy picks The Mask up and slings him over his shoulder and takes aim at one of the three remaining walls. Mask slips off Tommy's shoulder ad then runs him through that second wall and Tommy lands in a shower of glass. Mask drops to one knee over Tommy while the referee starts a count. Mask has a hard time keeping himself steady as the count continues. A bloodied Tommy gets to his knees and then falls back to the floor as the referee reaches the ten count and then calls for the bell. Ricky Simms - The Mask is the Superior Champ! Henry Lesher - I suspected that this was going to happen. Dante has always been a true champion. Ricky Simms - Any bets on Tommy wanting a rematch? Henry Lesher - This feud can go on forever as far as i am concerned. The Mask is handed the Superior Tile and holds it high while the fans give him a mixed reaction and we then fade to black as he stands over Tommy. |
