Backstage we see Ray Dees with Moose. Ray Dees - Moose, tonight you face off against the new world champ in a non-title match. It's no secret you don't much care for his new attitude. The Moose - Ray, you think this is a new attitude? Look, I remember when Hulk Hogan joined the NWO and everyone freaked out. This was a new Hogan. The thing is, there was Bobby Heenan on commentary saying it wasn't a new Hogan, that he had known all along this was what he was about. Jack Spade is no Hulk Hogan, but he also isn't experiencing some huge shift in his personality. He's just allowing the negative to overwhelm whatever decency he had deep down inside. Ray Dees - Which you have never done. The Moose - I don't make excuses, though. I don't whine about being screwed over. I don't pretend it's everyone else's fault when I lose a title or a title shot doesn't go my way. I take my medicine and I move on. Jack apparently can't do that and now he took a shortcut. As I said this week, we'll see how long his reign at the top lasts. Ray Dees - You've referred to him as an interim champion. The Moose - That's what he is, Ray. Ray Dees - He would disagree with that statement. The Moose - Of course hw would. That's how self delusion works. The cold water hits the face tonight when I pin his shoulders to the mat. Let's see what excuses he can work up then.
Moose walks out of the shot and we hear "Burn It to the Ground"
by Nickelback and we see images of Rose Lemieux, Hammer, Gary
Barber, Wren SilverPhoenix, Bombshell, Kira Yakamoto, Noah Skanes,
Max Cameron, Pyro, Greyson Blaze, The Moose, Malk, and Jack Spade
before we head to ringside where Ricky Simms and Henry Lesher are
once again ready to call the action. "Just Like You" by Three Days Grace plays as Noah Skanes makes his way onto the stage where the crowd gives him a warm ovation. He is led by his father down the ramp to ringside and then they have a few words there before Noah pulls himself onto the apron and then steps through the ropes into the ring. Noah paces inside the ring as his music fades and then we hear "Hollow Man" by The Hollow Men and Gary Barber comes out to loud boos from the crowd. He holds the TV title high above his head and makes his way down the ramp to ringside where he smirks at Shannon before he hands his belt to the timekeeper. Barber then rolls himself under the bottom rope into the ring which allows the referee to call for the bell. Ricky Simms - This is quite the way to start the show. Henry Lesher - Well, at least one of these men is a real star. Barber locks up with Noah in the middle of the ring. Noah then shoves Barber to the corner and gives him a series of kicks to the chest. Barber answers with a knee lift to the chest on Noah and then gives him a series of forearm upper cuts which drives him back to the center of the ring. Barber then gives Noah a belly to belly overhead suplex to the mat and then goes for the early pin. 1...2... kick out by Noah. Gary then stands Noah up, whips him off the ropes and then gives him a backdrop to the mat. Gary then goes to the corner buckle and climbs to the second rope. He gives Noah a double axe handle smash to the back from there and then goes for a bulldog, but Noah instead shoves him through the ropes and out to the floor. Ricky Simms - Nicely executed defense there by Noah. Henry Lesher - He will need to find offense or his night will be a short one, Rick. Noah goes to the corner buckle and climbs to the top. He then leaps off and lands a flying body pres which brings Barber back to the floor. Noah then pulls Gary to his feet and runs him head first into the steel guard railing. Noah then rolls Gary into the ring before he pulls himself onto the apron. Noah then goes for a springboard splash onto Gary Barber only to take raised knees to the chest from Barber. Barber then uses the ropes to pull himself to his feet and then he rakes the eyes of Noah Skanes along the top rope. Barber then gives Noah a German suplex to the mat and then he applies a camel clutch on Noah which causes the referee to check for a submission. Ricky Simms - Noah was in control, but Gary turns the tables quickly here. Henry Lesher - Like I said, Gary isn't just playing wrestler. He is the real deal. Noah refuses to submit when asked by the referee as he reaches out to the ropes. Barber struggles to hold Noah away from the ropes while a chant for Noah is started at ringside by his father Shannon. Shannon slaps the apron and shouts at his son to grab the ropes. Noah manages to pull his back up from the mat which weakens the hold and then he actually bucks a few times to weaken the hold further which allows him to get one hand fully free and grab the bottom rope. Noah then pulls himself out to the floor with Barber close behind. Barber then comes face to face with Shannon Skanes, who is standing over his son. Barber has a few words with Shannon while the crowd cheers and the referee threatens to disqualify Noah if Shannon doesn't back off. Ricky Simms - Tempers are flaring at ringside here. Henry Lesher - Shannon is acting as the bodyguard for his son here. That proves he can't fight for himself and shouldn't be out here against a real champion like Gary Barber. Shannon takes a step back and Gary slaps him across the face. Gary then pulls Noah to his feet and takes a jawbreaker from Noah. Noah then rolls Gary into the ring before doing the same himself. Noah then places Gary's throat over the bottom rope and chokes him with it while the referee again threatens to disqualify Noah. Shannon shouts at his son from ringside and Noah releases the choke just in time. Noah then stands Gary up, whips him off the ropes and Gary ducks a clothesline and then gives Noah a backslide into a pin. 1...2... Noah rolls a shoulder out. 3! The referee calls for the bell while Shannon slips into the ring to argue that his son kicked out. Referee Rob Rai is already out of the ring and quickly heading up the ramp. Ricky Simms - Did Gary pay the referee off? Henry Lesher - No, Noah failed to kick out. That was a fair count. Ricky Simms - Sure it was, Doc.
Shannon helps Noah to his feet and they look as the referee
disappears into the backstage area. We take a look backstage as
well. Paulie La Cerva - Have a minute? Myst - Now what? Paulie La Cerva - It's nothing major really. I am just curious about the plan heading into Sunstroke. Myst - I didn't think you liked handing me control of the show, even though it does belong to me. Paulie La Cerva - It isn't that. We can't name a number one contender out of a battle royal tonight. Myst - You're right. We name one of the contenders for Jack Spade's belt. Next week, we name a third. Paulie La Cerva - How? Myst - Lethal lottery tag tournament where the winners then face each other to determine the number one contender. Paulie La Cerva - That's brilliant. Myst - We'll see how brilliant it is. I just want to ensure we have a main event people really give a damn about. If it weren't for the dramatic shift in Jack Spade and the passion Pyro showed, we wouldn't have had a main event last week. I don't want that to happen again. Paulie La Cerva - Understood. Myst - I hope it is, Paulie. This is my company. I hope that's understood. Paulie La Cerva - Of course.
He makes his exit and we head back to the ring. "C-lebrity" by Queen and Paul Rodgers plays as Kira Yakamoto makes her way out onto the stage. She looks out on the cheering crowd and nods her head before she makes her way down the ramp to ringside. She then pulls herself onto the ring apron and then jumps over the top rope into the ring. Her music fades and then we hear "Voices" by Rev Theory and Malk steps out onto the stage where the crowd gives him a solid ovation. Malk then makes his way down the ramp to the ring and he then pulls himself onto the ring apron before he steps through the ropes into the ring. The referee calls for the bell and Kira locks up with Malk. Kira then kicks Malk in the gut four times before giving him an arm drag to the mat. Ricky Simms - Kira is trying to use her speed to neutralize the size advantage Malk has. Henry Lesher - How do we go from Gary Barber to this? Kira headlocks Malk and then gives him a bulldog to the mat before she goes for the early pin attempt. 1...2... kick out by Malk. Kira then stands Malk up, whips him into the corner and charges into a boot to the chin from Malk who then gives her a clothesline to the mat. Malk then lands a knee drop to the forehead on Kira and goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Kira. Malk then stands Kira up, whips her off the ropes and gives her a shoulder block to the mat. Malk then goes to the ropes and makes his way to the top. Kira gets to her feet and Malk goes for a flying cross body. Kira steps out of the way and Malk crashes to the mat instead. Ricky Simms - An old fashioned malfunction at the junction. Henry Lesher - This whole match is a malfunction. Kira jumps to the top rope and then lands a springboard back elbow to the chin on a stunned Malk. Kira then trips the feet out from under Malk and then she lands a leg drop to the chest on Malk and goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Malk. Kira stands Malk up, whips him through the ropes and out to the floor before she then dives through the ropes and lands a flying body press which sends Malk to the floor. Kira then stands Malk up and Malk gives her a series of forearm smashes to the jaw. Malk then picks Kira up and slams her to the floor. Malk then rolls her into the ring before doing the same himself and then goes for the pin. 1...2... Kira gets a foot on the bottom rope. Ricky Simms - Well, at least this referee is paying attention. Henry Lesher - Let it go, Rick. Malk stands Kira up, whips her off the ropes and misses with a clothesline as she ducks it and then she gives Malk a DDT to the mat and then she goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Malk. Kira then gets to her feet and stands Malk up, whips him off the ropes and both wrestlers clothesline one another to the mat. We then see Hammer rolling himself under the bottom rope into the ring with a steel chair in hand. Hammer first drills Malk across the back and then does the same to Kira while the referee calls for the bell. Ricky Simms - The referee has thrown this match out and Hammer is doing what he does best, you could say. Henry Lesher - Hey, he's just ending a match which needed to be ended. Hammer stands near Malk and readies to land a blow to the head on the former Old School champ. We then see Tommy Purr slipping into the ring behind him. Purr grabs the chair from Hammer and slams him over the head with it and then Purr low blows Hammer before he drills him across the skull with the chair again. Malk slowly gets to his feet and then takes the chair from Tommy. Malk slams the chair across the back of Hammer and then he nods to Tommy. The two then make their exit from the ring after Malk gives Hammer a warning about trying to attack him. Ricky Simms - Malk's lucky Tommy came out or this would have been much worse than it was. Henry Lesher - Tommy
needs better friends. Malk will drag him down to the curtain jerker
status reserved for the CWA Originals. Jack Spade - Hey! Watch where you're going! Kaleigh Simms - Sorry about that. Jack Spade - Hey, you're Rick's daughter right? Kaleigh Simms - Right. Jack Spade - You know I am the new champ around here, right? Kaleigh Simms -Yeah, congratulations. Jack Spade - Hey, you could show a little more enthusiasm, you know. I sacrificed a lot to get the belt. Kaleigh Simms - Saw that, you gave up on the rules to beat Pyro. Jack Spade - *stepping close to Kaleigh* Careful there, careful what you say. Kaleigh Simms - My father told me there were pricks in the CWA. Bombshell walks into the shot. Bombshell - Hey, what's going on here? Jack Spade - This girl just called me a prick. Bombshell - Pardon me? Kaleigh Simms - Hey, Jack wants to threaten me and expect me to just take it? Bombshell - Threaten you? You're not worth it to a champ like him. Besides, you have bigger issues tonight. Your friend has to defend her belt against me. Kaleigh Simms - I know. I don't want any trouble. Kaleigh takes off as fast as her feet will carry her while Bombshell faces Jack. Bombshell - What happened? Jack Spade - Like I said, she called me a prick. Bombshell - Why did she do that? Jack Spade - She's clearly jealous that I got something her father never could.
Jack heads off while Bombshell seems torn on whether or not she
buys what he says. Ricky Simms - Jack seems more methodical in his approach tonight than we are used to. Henry Lesher - Well, who can blame him? Moose is one of the few actual wrestlers in the CWA. He finds the ring on his first attempt almost every time. Max needs a map. Jack hands his title belt off to the timekeeper as well and then compares it to Moose's belt. Jack shakes his head as if he doesn't approve of the gold Moose carries. Jack then steps up onto the ramp and has a few unkind words for Moose. Moose then grabs Jack by the shoulder and hip tosses him into the ring while the referee calls for the bell and the match is begun. Moose then gives Jack a series of punches to the side of the head before giving him a series of kicks to the ribs. Jack retreats with a roll out to the floor, but Moose is right behind him. Moose then gives Jack a fouble axe handle smash while Jack tries to get away to regroup. Jack slips under the bottom rope into the ring and then he starts putting the boots to Moose as he slips back into the ring. Ricky Simms - Smarts shown by Jack there. Henry Lesher - Well, he has become smarter. The title proves that. Jack stands Moose up, whips him off the ropes and then gives him a clothesline to the mat. Jack then goes to a mount position and rains punches down on Moose. Jack then has a few words with the referee while he stands Moose up, whips him into the corner buckle and then lands a series of shoulder blocks on Moose. Jack then sits Moose on the top rope and then he climbs as well. He sets for a superplex, but Moose lands a series of punches to the ribs on Jack and then tosses him face first to the mat. Moose then stands on the top rope and then leaps off, landing an elbow to the spine on Jack before giving him a side Russian leg sweep to the mat where he goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Jack Spade. Ricky Simms - Clearly these two are evenly matches thus far. Henry Lesher - The match is still going, so bravo Rick. Moose stands Jack up, whips him into the corner buckle and then gives him a backdrop to the mat. Moose then puts the boots to Jack and then stands Jack up, whips him off the ropes and both men clothesline one another to the mat. The referee starts counting both men down while the crowd starts a chant for Moose. On the five count, Jack jumps to his feet and then he punts Moose in the side of the head. Moose rolls right out of the ring to the floor and Spade follows close behind him. Ricky Simms - They're back out here in front of us. Henry Lesher - I never thought I would see the day that Moose ran from a fight. Jack Spade rams Moose's head into the guard railing and then Jack grabs the camera from one of the cameramen at ringside. Jack asks Moose who the interim champ is now and then he drills Moose in the side of the head with the camera which causes the referee to call for the bell. Jack then throws the camera to the floor while the fans boo and the camera shows that Moose has been busted open by the camera. Ricky Simms - Jack's been disqualified, but I don't think he cares. Henry Lesher - Good for him, standing up for himself like that. Ricky Simms - How is he standing up for himself there? He clobbered Moose with a camera! Jack grabs
his title belt from the timekeeper's table and then makes his way up
the ramp with his arms raised, despite the result. The crowd boos
and objects are thrown at Jack as he reaches the stage and then bows
to the fans and tells the camera no one understands him. Neriah Sweet - You won your match tonight against Noah Skanes, but there's some talk about how you won. Gary Barber - When someone wins a title, is there often an asterisk next to their name about how they won? Neriah Sweet - Well, no... Gary Barber - If Noah wants to cry over the result, if he wants to cry foul about the referee, he knows where to find me. I don't duck people. Neriah Sweet - I'm sure he's watching and will bear that in mind. Gary Barber - Between him, Tommy and Greyson, this company is comprised of children trying to become more than what their fathers have been. Neriah Sweet - That's kind of harsh. Gary Barber - No it isn't. It will get harsh soon enough. He moves on and we
head back to the ring. Ricky Simms - Old rivalries rarely die in this business. Henry Lesher - Well, it's nice to see a diva inside the ring who can actually wrestle when she wants to. Wren places Max's neck over the top rope and chokes him with it. She then gives him a side Russian leg sweep to the mat. Wren then goes to the ropes and lands a springboard back elbow to the chest on Max before she goes for the quick pin. 1...2... kick out by Max. Wren then stands Max up, whips him off the ropes and then ducks her head for a backdrop. Max kicks Wren in the head and then gives her a fisherman's suplex to the mat and he goes for the quick pin. 1...2... kick out by Wren. Ricky Simms - Both wrestlers fail in their early pin attempts. Henry Lesher - Wren went for it because she knows Max sucks. Max went for it because he doesn't get the advantage often as a result of the fact he sucks. Max stands Wren up, whips her into the corner buckle and then gives her a clothesline to the mat from there. Max then lands a knee drop to the forehead on Wren and Wren then rolls herself out of the ring to the floor. Max follows her out and the two start trading punches on the floor. Max ducks a right hook from Wren, picks her up and runs her into the steel corner post. He then drops her and she falls to the floor, clutching at her back. Max then rolls himself into the ring to break up the count before rolling back out. Ricky Simms - This is every bit as nasty as expected. Henry Lesher - Max thinks he did something when he retired a jobber last week. He's delusional. Max stands Wren up and runs her shoulder first into the steel guard railing. He then rolls her into the ring before rolling himself in and then he goes for the pin. 1...2... Wren rolls a shoulder out and Max slaps the mat. Max then stands Wren up, whips her off the ropes and then gives her a shoulder block to the mat. Max then picks Wren up and slams her to the mat and then he again goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Wren who reverses the pin on Max, hooking him into a small package. 1...2... kick out by Max. Wren then uses the ropes to pull herself to her feet. Wren then starts giving Max knife edge chops to the chest which drive him into the corner and then she monkey flips Max to the middle of the ring. Ricky Simms - The control in this match keeps going back and forth. Henry Lesher - Max's ego is cancelled out by his ability to suck. Wren then goes to the rope and jumps to the top. Max gets to his feet and takes a flying headscissors which brings him down to the mat. Wren then hooks a leg for another pin attempt. 1...2... kick out by Max. Wren then stands Max up, whips him off the ropes and then backdrops him to the mat. Wren then looks to the crowd, pulls Max up to his feet, knees him in the gut and then underhooks both arms before she then gives him The Klimax. She hooks the tights as she then goes for the pin. 1...2...3! Wren gets the win as the referee failed to see the tights being hooked. Ricky Simms - Are the referees blind tonight? Henry Lesher - Compared to any other night?
Wren leaves the ring while Max comes to and he has a few words
for the referee. Mary shrugs her shoulder as she helps Max to his
feet and seems to have genuinely missed what happened. Wren flips
the bird to the fans once again and draws another round fo boos as
she does so. She then blows a kiss to the camera before she retreats
up the ramp towards the backstage area. Shannon Skanes - Headed somewhere? Rob Rai - Home, why? Shannon Skanes - I don't know why you felt it necessary to screw Noah over. Rob Rai - I wasn't aware I did. Shannon Skanes - You need to work on your lying, Rob. Rob Rai - I don't have time for this. Shannon Skanes - I will make sure you lose your job with this company if you do anything like this again. Rob Rai - I didn't do anything, Shannon. Shannon Skanes - I gave you a job with this company six months ago. I hired you when you desperately needed work. This is how you repay me? Rob Rai - Like I said, I didn't do anything. Shannon Skanes - I have the tape of tonight's result and will take it to Myst. She can judge what you did or didn't do. Rob Rai - Go ahead. I don't care. Rob heads out the doorway and Shannon turns to come face to face with Gary Barber. Shannon Skanes - Fancy meeting you here. Gary Barber - Just wanted to let you know your son can stop whining. Next week, he can pick two teammates to fight me and two teammates I choose. I want to end this next week, prove I am the superior wrestler to the both of you and move on. Shannon Skanes - I have a feeling you're going down. Gary Barber - Whatever. Barber walks off
and we return to the ring. Ricky Simms - Title match here as Rose shows she is a fighting champion. Henry Lesher - The fact she has a title is a sign of the apocalypse, Rick. Bombshell backs Rose into the ropes where the referee asks for a clean break. Bombshell takes a few steps back and then she gives Rose a forearm smash to the jaw. Rose answers with a forearm smash of her own and then she picks Bombshell up and gives her an inverted atomic drop followed by a headbutt and then she gives Bombshell a snap suplex to the mat where she goes for the early pin. 1...2... Bombshell kicks out. Rose then stands Bombshell up, whips her off the ropes and ducks her head for a backdrop. Bombshell leap frogs Rose instead and then comes off the ropes and lands a sunset flip on Rose before she then stands Rose up, whips her to the corner and then gives her a hip toss back to the center of the ring. Ricky Simms - Frenetic action in this once thus far. Henry Lesher - Well, as long as it's over fast. Bombshell heads to the ropes, jumps to the top and then leaps off, landing a frog splash on Rose before hooking the leg. 1...2... kick out by Rose. Bombshell shakes her head as she then stands Rose up, whips her off the ropes and misses with a dropkick as Rose instead grabs the ropes. Rose then gives Bombshell a dropkick to the chest as she sits up. Rose then stands Bombshell up, whips her into the corner and then gives her a gutwrench suplex towards the middle of the ring. Rose then goes to the ropes and makes her way to the top. Bombshell gets to her feet as Rose flies. Bombshell catches Rose in mid-air and gives her a belly to belly overhead suplex to the mat which leaves both women lying on the mat. Ricky Simms - The impact of that move took a lot out of both of these ladies. Henry Lesher - I certainly don't see a lady inside that ring. The referee starts counting both divas down. Rose gets to her hands and knees at the four count. Bombshell does the same at the five count. The two then start trading punches from their knees. Rose headbutts Bombshell. Bombshell then gives Rose a knife edge chop to the chest before she gets to her feet. Bombshell then whips Rose off the ropes and gives her a backdrop to the mat. Rose then grabs the legs of Bombshell and rolls her to the mat for a pin attempt. 1...2... kick out by Bombshell. We then see Jeannie making her way down the ramp towards the ring which draws a mixed reaction from the crowd. Ricky Simms - Why is she out here? We haven't seen the other Puck Bunny in months. Henry Lesher - Maybe welfare cut her off, so she needs money. Rose stands Bombshell up, whips her into the corner buckle and then gives her a vertical suplex to the mat. Rose then spots Jeannie at ringside and asks her what she's doing there. Jeannie pulls something from her pocket and blows salt into the eyes of Rose Lemieux which causes the referee to call for the bell. Ricky Simms - What the hell was that for? Henry Lesher - To end my misery. Rose staggers backwards and Jeannie rolls herself into the ring. Jeannie then gives Rose a DDT to the mat before she rolls herself out to the floor. She then takes a clothesline to the floor from Kaleigh Simms who puts the boots to Jeannie. Kaleigh then grabs a chair from a fan at ringside and she wields it over Jeannie who then quickly retreats into the crowd. Kaleigh then rolls herself into the ring and checks on Rose while Bombshell asks what's going on here. Bombshell is informed by Casey Braun what happened and Bombshell shakes her head as she exits the ring. Ricky Simms - Jeannie may have cost Bombshell the Aerial Title there. Henry Lesher - I'll lose sleep over that.
Bombshell picks up the title belt from the timekeeper's table and
tells Kaleigh she will get a rematch. Kaleigh nods while remaining
alert for another attack while we look backstage. Max Cameron - I lost, but I'm not retiring, so save it. Paulie La Cerva - No, you're a funny guy though. I wanted to tell you we're putting together a big match next week, a lethal lottery and you will be in it. Max Cameron - Why? You would never let me become champ. Paulie La Cerva - Never say never, Max. Pyro's a contender now. This is a whole new company. Max Cameron - If you say so. Is there anything else? Paulie La Cerva - Stay tuned, Max. Your tag partner next week will be someone dear to your heart. Max Cameron - I can't wait to hear who it might be. Paulie La Cerva - Oh, it'll be announced after the show. It's going to be a scream.
Max shakes his head and makes his exit while Paulie smirks. Ricky Simms - Two of the bigger surprises inside the ring right now. Henry Lesher - I am surprised they still have jobs, too. Greyson locks up with Pyro in a test of strength. Pyro shows signs of the early advantage while competing chants for the two wrestlers start up in the crowd. Greyson shows signs of turning the test of strength in his favor and Pyro responds by kicking Greyson in the gut and then gives him a vertical suplex to the mat. Pyro then stands Greyson up, whips him off the ropes and then gives him a backdrop to the mat as we see Tommy Purr making his way down the ramp and he heads around the ring to the announce table while Pyro takes exception to him being out here. Ricky Simms - Tommy, what's going on? Tommy Purr - *as he puts on a headset* Rick, I am just out here to keep an eye on things. Gary Barber might have designs on attacking this kid after what happened earlier. Henry Lesher - Then let him do it. Why risk that pretty face? Tommy Purr - Doc, I have to stand by the people in this company that matter. Greyson is one of the good guys. Henry Lesher - That's a horrible reason. Pyro stands Greyson up and takes an upper cut from Greyson. Greyson then picks Pyro up and slams him to the mat and then he gives Pyro a leg drop to the chest before going for the early pin. 1...2... kick out by Pyro. Greyson then stands Pyro up, whips him into the corner buckle and then knees him in the gut before giving him a double under hook suplex to the mat. Greyson again stands Pyro up, whips him off the ropes and then gives him a dropkick which sends him back down to the mat. Greyson then goes to the ropes and makes his way to the top rope. Greyson then goes for a splash on Pyro, but Pyro gets a foot up and catches Greyson in the chin with it. Pyro then pulls himself up to his feet before he goes for the pin. 1...2... Greyson rolls a shoulder out. Ricky Simms - I thought that might be it. Tommy Purr - Greyson is tough. Ask Shadow about that. Henry Lesher - Have you considered membership in the EVC? I have one of their pamphlets. Pyro stands Greyson up, whips him into the corner buckle and then gives him a running knee lift to the gut. Pyro then gives Greyson a snap mare to the middle of the ring and then applies a full Nelson on Greyson. The referee checks for a submission, but Greyson refuses to give up to the hold. Greyson tries to power his way out of the hold while Pyro struggles to maintain it. The crowd starts chanting for Greyson again, though some are still chanting for Pyro. Greyson then puts his hands up higher in an effort to free himself of the hold. He continues to refuse to submit when asked by the referee and then he manages to drop right out of the Full Nelson. Pyro then kicks Greyson in the back before clotheslining him to the mat. Ricky Simms - Good comeback there by Greyson Blaze. Henry Lesher - Yeah, but it's just Pyro. Tommy Purr - Cut him down all you like, Lesher, Greyson will be a title holder again in the CWA. Henry Lesher - Just read the pamphlet. Pyro stands Greyson up, whips him off the ropes and then both men clothesline each other to the mat. The referee starts counting them both down. Greyson rolls himself to the ropes on the three count and starts pulling himself to his feet. He makes it to his feet in time to beat the count and then he kicks Pyro in the ribs before placing him in an abdominal stretch. Before he has it fully locked in, Pyro uses a hip toss to free himself from it and send Greyson to the mat. Pyro then goes to the ropes and makes his way to the top. Greyson gets to his feet and takes a flying dropkick to the chest from Pyro who then goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Greyson Blaze. Ricky Simms - Big kick out by Greyson again. Tommy Purr - That's the spirit he's got. Henry Lesher - EVC membership includes additional medical benefits. Pyro stands Greyson up and goes for a swinging neckbreaker. Greyson blocks it and then kicks Pyro in the chest before giving him a swinging neckbreaker to the mat instead and then he goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Pyro. Greyson then stands Pyro up, whips him off the ropes and then gives him a backdrop to the mat. Greyson then turns to Tommy and has a few words for him and then he stands Greyson up, takes a forearm smash to the jaw and Greyson then elbows Pyro in the head, whips him head first into the corner buckle and then gives him a backslide into a pin attempt. 1...2...3! Greyson gets the win over Pyro! Ricky Simms - Pyro takes the loss, partly due to distraction. Tommy Purr - That's his fault, not mine. Henry Lesher - I will agree with that. Oh, and EVC membership gets you free Subway for life.
Tommy steps away from the announce table as Greyson rolls himself
out to the floor. Tommy offers to shake hands with Greyson and
Greyson accepts. The two of them then make their way up the ramp
while Pyro looks on in disgust. Myst - Can you back up a little? Shannon Skanes - Didn't mean to crowd you. Myst - Anyway, yeah, Rob Rai saw the shoulder come up and counted to three. Shannon Skanes - You can't let him get away with this. Myst - I'll have a talk with him. I will deal with it. Shannon Skanes - Talk to him? That's it? Myst - I don't have to tell you anything more than that. Shannon Skanes - Our son got screwed over. Myst - Which cannot influence my decision. Thank you for bringing this to my attention and good night. Shannon Skanes - Do you remember when you became heartless? Myst - Must have been right after you and I broke up. Shannon Skanes - Thanks for nothing.
Shannon storms out and we return to the ring for the main event. Ricky Simms - What is he doing out here again? Henry Lesher - Scouting. The four combatants pair off, Wren fighting Malk while Tommy battles Hoshi. Wren chokes Malk with the top rope and then rakes his eyes along the top of it. Wren then tries to dump Malk over the top, but he hangs on and then elbows Wren in the chin. Malk then whips Wren off the ropes and ducks his head to backdrop her, but she kicks him in the face instead. Tommy and Hoshi trade kicks and then Hoshi gives Tommy a knee to the gut before she whips him into the corner buckle. Tommy charges at Hoshi and she ducks that, sending Tommy over the top. Tommy manages to land on the apron and quickly climbs back into the ring where he resumes his battle with Hoshi. Ricky Simms - Hoshi almost eliminated Tommy there. Henry Lesher - If she had, the ground would have opened up and swallowed this place whole. Wren trades punches with Malk. Malk then ducks a right hook and picks Wren up over his shoulder and attempts to send her to the floor. Wren holds onto the top rope and then swings her legs, placing Malk in a headscissors and then she tries to send Malk over the top rope to the floor. Jack Spade is seen shaking his head nearby, not impressed with this action. Tommy whips Hoshi off the ropes near Wren and Malk. The ropes shake which allows Wren to gain a small advantage over Malk and she drags him over the top rope and he falls to the floor. Wren then sets herself down inside the ring and blows a kiss to Malk. Malk then takes a shot to the head with the belt from Jack Spade before Spade then makes his way around to the other side of the ring. Ricky Simms - That was uncalled for. Henry Lesher - I called for that to happen. Hoshi and Tommy battle in the middle of the ring. Tommy clotheslines Hoshi to the mat only to take a roundhouse kick to the jaw from Wren. Wren then tries to whip Tommy over the top rope, but he grabs the rope and then gives Wren a right hook to the jaw which staggers her back into the grip of Hoshi Yakamoto. Hoshi then whips Wren over the top rope, but Wren lands on the apron and then jumps to the top rope and goes for a flying body press on Hoshi. Hoshi catches Wren in mid air and slams her to the mat. Ricky Simms - Great action between these three. Henry Lesher - Really? The first three rows of fans are almost asleep. Hoshi stands Wren up, whips her off the ropes and Wren ducks a clothesline only to take a superkick to the jaw from Tommy Purr. Jack is seen applauding at ringside. Tommy then starts trading kicks with Hoshi. Hoshi knees Tommy in the gut and whips him into the corner buckle. Hoshi then gives Tommy a dropkick in the corner, but he doesn't fall over the top rope as a result. Hoshi gets to her feet only to take a spear to the mat from Tommy. Tommy then gets to his feet as Wren kips up to hers. Wren dropkicks Tommy and he sails over the top rope only to land on the apron. He holds on to the bottom rope and keeps his feet an inch off the floor before pulling himself into the ring. Ricky Simms - That was so close. Henry Lesher - Tommy is light years ahead in terms of talent here. Wren stands Hoshi up, whips her off the ropes and then gives her a hip toss over the top rope and out to the floor. Jack Spade holds his belt ready to drop Hoshi with it only to take a chop block from Malk. Malk then lays into Jack on the floor while the crowd cheers. Malk stands over Jack and actually spits on him before he then walks away from the ring and back up the ramp. Inside the ring, Wren stands face to face with Tommy. Wren then gives Tommy a series of forearm smashes to the jaw. Wren then rakes Tommy's eyes along the top rope before she tries to shove him over the top. Tommy grabs the top rope with one hand and ducks his head. He picks Wren up in a fireman's carry and then he dumps her over the top rope and out to the floor which causes the referee to call for the bell. Ricky Simms - Tommy is in the main event! Henry Lesher - It's about damned time. Tommy drops and rolls himself out to the floor where he grabs the World Title from a still dazed Jack Spade. Tommy grabs Jack and asks him if he is a worthy contender now and Tommy clotheslines Jack to the floor. He throws the title belt onto the chest of the fallen Spade and says he will be back for that later. The crowd cheers as he is announced the ainner and we then fade to black. |
