Edition 2 We open the show with Noah Skanes standing inside the ring, a microphone in hand and the crowd is already chanting his name. Noah Skanes - So here I am, the Originals champ *holds belt high to big pop from crowd* and I am wondering where the real men are. I keep hearing about the concept of the CWA going back to its roots and I am waiting for an old style acceptance of a challenge to me which would make my night and, likely, make the night of those in attendance as well. I am prepared to stand here as long as... "Children of the Grave" by Black Sabbath plays and Carnage Wrestling star Dark Shadow comes out to a decent pop from a surprised crowd. He rushes down the ramp to the ring as Noah tosses both the microphone and the title belt out of the ring to the timekeeper. Steve Miller rushes down the ramp and slides under the bottom rope into the ring, calling for the bell to make this an official match. Noah and Dark Shadow trade rights and lefts in the center of the ring as the crowd cheers. Noah lands a series of knife edge chops to the chest on Shadow which back him into a corner. Noah then whips him to the opposite corner before giving him a backdrop to the middle of the ring. The crowd cheers as Noah then lands a knee drop and goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Dark Shadow. Ricky Simms - Furious action to start this one. Henry Lesher - Well, it's loser against loser in this one. Noah stands Dark Shadow up, whips him off the ropes and gives him a dropkick back to the mat. Noah then goes to the ropes and makes his way to the top rope. He goes for a flying elbow smash from there, but Dark Shadow rolls out of the way and quickly gets to his feet where he then kicks Noah in the ribs. He stands Noah up, whips him off the ropes and gives him a clothesline back to the mat where he lands an elbow smash to the chest. Dark Shadow then sits Noah up and places him in a sleeper hold. We then see Orlock emerging onto the stage where he is booed by the crowd. He smirks as he slowly makes his way down the ramp. Ricky Simms - What the hell is he doing out here? Henry Lesher - He is making this match better. Noah refuses to submit to the sleeper inside the ring and then reaches out for the ropes. He reaches back and eye gouges Dark Shadow and then lunges for the ropes again, this time reaching them. The referee forces the break and Shadow reluctantly backs off. Dark Shadow then stands Noah up, whips him off the ropes and Noah ducks a clothesline before giving Dark Shadow an inverted neckbreaker to the mat. Noah then spots Orlock at ringside and he dives out of the ring onto Orlock, giving him a clothesline to the floor. Noah then starts raining down punches to the head on Orlock as Kindred is seen rushing down the ramp to join in. The referee calls for the bell as Kindred kicks Noah in the chest, sending him to the floor. We then see Scavenger and Fixxxer rushing down the ramp to even the odds as the fans cheer. Kindred takes a tackle to the floor from Scavenger and Fixxxer leg drops a still down Orlock. We then hear "Somebody Told Me" by The Killer and Wyatt Gibson comes out onto the stage with a microphone in hand. Wyatt Gibson - Okay, we are going to restart this as a six man tag match. Dark Shadow tags with the giants and Noah tags with the crazies. Let's make this a match and ring the bell. Wyatt quickly exits and the bell does sound. Fixxxer slips into the ring where Dark Shadow has recovered and he greets Fixxxer with a kick to the ribs before giving him a hip toss to the mat. Dark Shadow then picks Fixxxer up and slams him to the mat before giving him a knee to the chest and then he goes for the quick pin. 1...2... kick out. Shadow then pulls Fixxxer to his corner and tags in Kindred. Kindred steps over the top rope into the ring and applies a nerve hold on Fixxxer while Scavenger and Noah Skanes take their places in their corner. Fixxxer refuses to submit when asked by the referee and keeps his arms raised, despite the pressure Kindred is applying to his shoulders. Kindred smiles as Fixxxer tries in vain to reach the ropes. Ricky Simms - Kindred really enjoys his work. Henry Lesher - Why wouldn't he? Kindred sees that his opponent is near the ropes and actually breaks the hold and pulls Fixxxer to his corner where he tags in Orlock. The two seven foot tall monsters then deliver a double headbutt on Fixxxer. Fixxxer falls to the mat and Orlock boot chokes him while Dark Shadow applauds in their corner. Orlock breaks the choke before the referee can reach a five count, stands Fixxxer up, whips him off the ropes and lays him out with a big boot to the chin. Orlock then places a foot on the chest of Fixxxer for the pin, posing for the booing fans. 1...2... Fixxxer kicks out. Orlock shakes his head as he then pulls Fixxxer to his feet and gives him a series of forearm smashes to the jaw. Orlock then whips Fixxxer off the ropes and misses a clothesline as Fixxxer ducks it and shoulder rolls to his corner and tags in Scavenger. Scavenger charges into the ring and gives Orlock a series of rights and lefts to the side of the head before giving him a side Russian leg sweep to the mat. Scavenger then stands over Orlock and shouts at their opponents. Ricky Simms - Scavenger is a firecracker in there, giving his little brother a chance to regroup. Henry Lesher - Regrouping will not make Fixxxer any good. Scavenger pulls Orlock to his feet, whips him off the ropes and backdrops the big man to the mat which draws loud cheers from the fans. Scavenger then goes to the ropes and starts to climb. Dark Shadow shouts out at Scavenger and distracts him. Orlock gets to his feet while the referee stops Dark Shadow from getting closer to Scavenger. Scavenger goes for a flying cross body only to be caught and power slammed to the mat by Orlock. Orlock then tags in Dark Shadow. Dark Shadow kicks Scavenger in the ribs and then gives him a tilt a whirl backbreaker to the mat. Dark Shadow then goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Scavenger. Dark Shadow then stands Scavenger up, whips him into a neutral corner and then gives him a running knee lift in the corner followed by an arm drag back to the center of the ring. Ricky Simms - Dark Shadow is agile for a big man. Henry Lesher - I don't care. Why isn't Orlock in there crushing people? Dark Shadow tries to whip Scavenger into the opposite corner, but the move is reversed and Scavenger sends Shadow into the corner instead and then gives him a series of kicks to the chest. Scavenger then picks Shadow up and gives him a shoulderbreaker before going for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Dark Shadow. Scavenger then pulls Dark Shadow to his corner and tags in Noah Skanes. Noah steps into the ring and gives Dark Shadow a series of double axe handle smashes across the back. Noah then picks Dark Shadow up and slams him to the mat before he then gives Shadow a leg drop across the chest. Noah then has a few words for Orlock and Kindred before he pulls Dark Shadow to his feet. Shadow eye gouges Noah. Noah kicks Shadow in the gut and then gives him a swinging neckbreaker to the mat. Noah then stands Shadow up again, whips him off the ropes and Shadow ducks a clothesline. Dark Shadow then gives Noah a knee to the gut and then gives him a scoop slam to the mat. He then pulls Noah to his corner and tags in Kindred. Kindred steps over the top rope into the ring and boot chokes Noah while the crowd boos. The referee demands a clean break and Orlock punches the referee across the face, sending Steve Miller down to the mat. Moments later, the bell sounds. Ricky Simms - Orlock just got disqualified, but I don't think he or Kindred care. Henry Lesher - This is about inflicting pain and those behemoths are the best at it in the wrestling world. Dark Shadow enters the ring and brawls with Fixxxer while Scavenger charges and spears Orlock down to the floor. He then headbutts Kindred before sending him over the top rope with a clothesline. Dark Shadow gives Fixxxer a knee to the gut and a DDT to the mat before he rolls himself out to the floor. Scavenger stands over the fallen Fixxxer and Noah Skanes, motioning all three men back into the ring while the referee gets to his feet and he looks set for a fight now as well. Ricky Simms - The team of Orlock and Kindred continue their pursuit of Noah's belt. Dark Shadow impressed in his debut and Fixxxer caught the brunt of it at the end there. Henry Lesher - It's jobber city in there, Rick. Inside the ring, Scavenger helps Noah Skanes to his feet and Fixxxer rolls himself out of the ring. The crowd applauds the popular wrestlers on a job well done, but we then see Pyro making his way down the ramp with a chair in hand. He makes eye contact with Scavenger and shrugs, telling him this is nothing personal. Ricky Simms - Why is Pyro out here? Henry Lesher - Because he is the mayor of jobber city? As Pyro has words with Scavenger, we hear "Where Eagles Dare" by The Misfits and The Moose comes out to a tremendous cheer from the crowd. He makes his way down the ramp and isn't phased by the fact Pyro is holding a chair. He shoves Pyro. Pyro reaches back with the chair only to have Scavenger grab it from his hands. Pyro turns to say something to Scavenger, but Moose hits him in the back of the head and then Moose knees Pyro in the back before pulling him to ringside and then rolling him under the bottom rope into the ring. He rolls himself in and the referee calls for the bell, Steve Miller apparently fine to call another match right away. Ricky Simms - Pyro thought he was going to get in a few cheap shots at some worn down Originals and forgot he had a fight with Moose here. Henry Lesher - What, another match? Aren't we going to see some stupid backstage segments? Who wants to watch wrestling? This is all about soap operas and swearing and baby daddies. Ricky Simms - My God, you even complain when you get what you want! Moose stands Pyro up, whips him off the ropes and backdrops him to the mat and then he stands over him while the fans cheer. Moose pulls Pyro to his feet, whips him into the corner buckle and then goes for a shoulder block, but Pyro raises a knee and catches Moose in the head. Pyro then goes to the second rope quickly and levels Moose with a shoulder tackle to the mat where he hooks the leg for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Pyro. Moose pulls Pyro to his feet and whips him through the ropes and out to the floor. Moose then rolls himself out to the floor as the fans cheer him on. He shouts down at Pyro and asks him if he thinks he is one of the big boys now. Moose then whips Pyro into the steel guard railing before rolling himself into the ring to break up the count and then he rolls himself back out. Ricky Simms - Moose is intense tonight. Henry Lesher - Well, he is being booked against Pyro? I mean, seriously? Moose slams Pyro's head into the steel ring steps and then rolls him into the ring before rolling himself in as well. Moose then places Pyro in a sleeperhold. The referee checks for a submission, but Pyro refuses to submit. Pyro then snags the bottom rope with his right foot and the referee forces the release of the hold. Pyro then escapes to the floor for a breather while Moose gets to his feet. Pyro paces at ringside, clearly not happy with the way this match is going thus far. Pyro then pulls himself onto the ring apron and signals to the referee that he wants Moose to back off. The referee gets Moose to take a few steps back and Pyro enters the ring slowly. He then backs into a corner and tries to signal for a timeout, drawing boos from the fans. Moose charges in and shoulder blocks Pyro against the buckle. Moose then gives Pyro a belly to belly overhead suplex to the mat. Moose then goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Pyro. Ricky Simms - Impressive show by Moose there with that move on Pyro. Henry Lesher - He needs to face Orlock or Kindred, someone who will be a challenge. Moose stands Pyro up, whips him off the ropes and Pyro gives Moose a knee to the gut and then gives him a bulldog to the mat. Pyro then rolls himself out of the ring and picks up a chair from ringside, toppling the timekeeper in the process. Pyro smacks the floor with the chair and smiles before he slips back into the ring. Moose gets to his feet and Pyro takes a wild swing with the chair. Moose blocks it, kicks Pyro in the gut and then picks him up before giving him a Moosedriver to the mat where he then quickly goes for the pin. 1...2...3! Moose snags a win over Pyro this week. Ricky Simms - Pyro went for the chair, but he still took the fall. Henry Lesher - Looks like jobber city needs a new mayor. Moose makes his way up the ramp and salutes the fans in attendance, but he stops near the top of the ramp instead of continuing backstage. Inside the ring, Pyro slowly rolls himself out to the floor and the referee helps him towards the back alongside the ramp instead of climbing it. Referee Frank Merritt then makes his way down the ramp where the crowd gives him a solid and positive reaction. Frank doesn't acknowledge the fans, but he does give Moose a dirty look on his way past. He then does one full lap around the ring before he makes his way up the ring steps and then steps through the ropes into the ring. Henry Lesher - We need Frank to be active again. Ricky Simms - This is a rare occasion where I agree with you, Doc. As Frank stands poised in the middle of the ring, we hear "Deep" by Nine Inch Nails and the crowd cheers as Shannon Skanes comes out onto the stage. He starts to make his way down the ramp and passes Moose on his way up. The two stand nose to nose and have words while fans cheer in anticipation of what might come out of this. They start trading punches and Frank Merritt rushes from the ring to break it up and shoves Shannon towards the ring while shoving Moose towards the stage area. He tells Moose to get out and Moose simply nods silently before pointing at Shannon and saying that this fight is not over. Shannon shouts at Moose form ringside and continues to berate him even as "Showstopper" by Toby Mac plays and Slim Pickens comes out onto the stage. He walks past Moose without acknowledging him and quickly makes his way to ringside while Shannon slips under the bottom rope into the ring. Slim jumps up onto the ring apron and then steps through the ropes into the ring which allows the referee to call for the bell and start the next match. Ricky Simms - There has been a lot of cross over tonight in a show that has surprised me. Henry Lesher - Hey, I am all for everyone hating everyone else around here. Somewhere, Ray Dees is crying. Slim and Shannon stand face to face and Slim has a few words for Shannon which leads to a knee lift from Shannon to the gut on Slim before giving him a series of knife edge chops to the chest which back Slim into the ropes. Slim answers with a thumb to the eye on the CWA owner before giving him a series of knife edge chops to the chest. Shannon is backed across the ring and then Slim gives Shannon a fireman's carry into a side slam. He then lands a knee drop to the forehead on Shannon before going for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Shannon. Slim pulls Shannon to his feet and then gives him a forearm upper cut that sends him back into a corner buckle. Slim then sets for and delivers a vertical suplex on Shannon. Slim then stands over Shannon and signals he wants to end this one early. He goes to the nearest corner and climbs to the top rope and then goes for a flying knee drop, but Shannon rolls out of the way and Slim's knee hits the mat instead. Shannon then gets to his feet and puts the boots to Slim Pickens. Ricky Simms - The tide turns on that move there. Henry Lesher - Well, Slim cannot help the fact he sucks. We both know that. Shannon pulls Slim to the middle of the ring and then applies a figure four leglock to take advantage of the knee that hit the mat moments ago. Slim refuses to submit when asked by the referee even as Shannon tries to strengthen what was once his finishing hold. Slim reaches out for the ropes, but finds he is too far away. He sits up and tries to reverse the hold. Shannon punches Slim in the head and the referee checks to make sure Slim's shoulders are not pinned to the mat. Slim then tries to turn the hold over once more. He gets it half way turned while Shannon struggles to maintain control. Shannon releases the hold just as it appears ready to be turned. Shannon gets to his feet and Slim uses the ropes to do the same. Shannon moves in and takes a kick to the gut from Slim. Slim then gives Shannon a spinebuster to the mat. Ricky Simms - Good back and forth in this one now. These two work well together. Henry Lesher - Yeah, they mix like oil and water in there. Slim pulls Shannon to his feet and goes for a suplex, but Shannon blocks it and then he gives Slim a snap suplex to the mat. Shannon then pulls Slim to his feet and gives him a knee to the gut before whipping him into the corner buckle. He then climbs to the second rope and rains down punches to the head on Slim which has the crowd torn on which man they are cheering for here. "I Hate Everything About You" by Three Days Grace starts to play and the crowd explodes as a hooded figure steps onto the stage. Shannon turns and faces the mystery figure and looks horrified. Slim then gives Shannon a headbutt to the chest before shoving him to the mat and then Slim climbs to the second rope and lands a somersault splash onto Shannon before hooking the leg for the pin. 1...2...3! Slim Pickens wins the match. Ricky Simms - Is that Ryan Yorke? Henry Lesher - No, he's still in the hospital. The hooded figure makes his way down the ramp and stops at ringside where he makes eye contact with Slim, who is on his way backstage after another solid victory tonight. The hooded figure then climbs onto the ring steps before stepping through the ropes into the ring. He goes to Shannon, revealing a gloved right hand and clocks Shannon with the glove before picking him up and giving him the Restricted. The lights then go out throughout the arena and the crowd cheers. There is some screams at ringside and then inside the ring before the lights come back on and we see Max Cameron and Pyro, each of them holding baseball bats, looking for the assailant who is now nowhere to be found. Ricky Simms - Was that Rated R? Is Ryan back? Henry Lesher - These idiot fans boo Ryan for years and cheer a hooded man who MIGHT be him? They need to figure out what and who they like. Max and Pyro look confused and then each man points a finger at the other as if they might suspect one another of being the hooded figure. Shannon lays between them, motionless and bleeding from the forehead as we end the show. |
