Overdrive Opening Credits

The crowd cheers as "If You Seek Amy" by Britney Spears plays and Rose Lemieux comes out onto the stage to start tonight's show. She makes her way down the ramp towards the ring and high fives fans at ringside before she makes her way onto the ring steps and then steps through the ropes into the ring. She then jumps onto the top rope in the corner and waves to the fans before her music fades and then we hear "Voices" by Rev Theory and Malk comes out to a strong ovation as well. He stands on stage for a few moments and then he makes his way down the ramp towards the ring.

Ricky Simms - Welcome to Overdrive, the first event after what has been called the greatest event in the history of this company! How do we top that?

Henry Lesher - Well, you could start by not having Scavenger and Bimbo calling the important matches.

Malk stops at ringside and smirks at Rose inside the ring. He has a few unkind words for her and then he pulls himself onto the apron before he steps through the ropes into the ring. His music fades and referee Mary Sanderson calls for the bell to officially start the match. Malk moves in and locks up with Rose and then quickly shoves her into the corner. Malk then gives her a hip toss to the mat and then he applies a full Nelson on her, looking for the quick submission win in this one. Rose refuses to give up when asked by the referee and then Rose tries to reach for the ropes with her feet, to no avail. We then see Shengee rushing down the ramp wearing a Flash costume.

Ricky Simms - Oh no...

Henry Lesher - Kind of early for the show to go into the crapper, isn't it?

Shengee slips under the bottom rope into the ring and Malk releases Rose and then gives Shengee a big boot to the face. Malk then picks Flashshengee up and then throws him over the top rope and out to the floor. Malk then turns back and takes a standing dropkick from Rose which sends him right through the ropes and out to the floor. Rose then goes to the corner buckle and quickly jumps to the top rope and poses there for the fans. Malk gets to his feet and Rose launches herself off the top rope. Malk catches Rose and gives her a spinning power slam to the floor. He then stands over her and then rolls himself into the ring to break up the count before rolling himself back out.

Ricky Simms - Malk said he was going to hurt Rose and it looks like that's the plan.

Henry Lesher - Hey, I might be a fan if he puts an end to some of these divas.

Malk stands Rose up and whops her shoulder first into the steel ring steps. He then stands her up and rolls her into the ring before doing the same himself and then he goes for the pin. 1...2... Rose gets a foot on the bottom rope. Malk then stands her up, whips her off the ropes and misses with a clothesline when she ducks it. She then headlocks Malk and goes for a springboard bulldog, but he shoves her right off the top rope and back to the floor. Rose tries to stand in the floor, but it's clear she has twisted her ankle. She clutches it in pain as Malk drops and rolls himself out to the floor. He places her in an ankle lock and Rose taps the floor while screaming in pain as the referee screams at Malk to bring the action back to the ring.

Ricky Simms - This is getting ugly.

Henry Lesher - I like watching that girl get beat up.

Malk releases the ankle lock and rolls himself into the ring once again to break up the count before he rolls himself back out. He then applies the ankle lock again. Rose continues to scream as the useless Shengee is still unmoving nearby. A woman from the crowd then jumps onto the back and shoulder of Malk, trying to place him in a sleeperhold. Malk reaches back and snap mares her to the floor next to Rose.

Ricky Simms - A fan has jumped over the railing and attacked Malk. It appears....

Henry Lesher - What does?

Ricky takes off his headset and rushes around the ring to Malk who has the unknown blonde by the hair. The referee calls for the bell and the match is declared a no contest. Mary Sanderson then rolls herself out of the ring to explain this to Malk. Malk turns and swats Mary in the face, knocking her down to the floor. Ricky Simms then grabs a chair and warns Malk off, away from the girls. Malk just smirks and takes a step back. He then finally turns and starts to make his way to the back while Ricky then turns to the unknown blonde and verbally berates her for getting involved.

Henry Lesher - Now that I am alone, you don't have to mute your TV sets, people.

Commercial Break

We come back from the break to Ricky sitting back down behind his desk.

Ricky Simms - I would like to apologize on behalf of Kaleigh for what we just saw there. She's going to stay in the crowd and not get involved. I have talked to her about this before.

Henry Lesher - That was your daughter?

Ricky Simms - Drop it, Doc.

"Motherfucker of the Year" by Motley Crue plays as Shannon Skanes makes his way onto the stage where the crowd gives him a loud ovation. He then starts to make his way down the ramp only to be attacked from behind by AJ Cameron who gives him a chop block to the ramp. AJ then stands Shannon up and then tosses him right off the ramp and down to the floor. AJ then jumps off the ramp and gives Shannon a double axe handle smash to the back. AJ then stands Shannon up and rams his head into the guard railing before pulling him down to ringside. AJ then picks Shannon up over his shoulder and runs him towards the corner post, but Shannon slides off and shoves AJ shoulder first into the corner post instead. Shannon then rams AJ's forehead into the steel ring steps and then he rolls him into the ring before rolling himself into the ring. The referee calls for the bell to make the match official and Shannon goes for the immediate pin. 1...2... kick out by AJ. Shannon stands AJ up, whips him off the ropes and then gives him a shoulder block down to the mat. Shannon then gives AJ a knee drop to the forehead.

Ricky Simms - AJ went for the sneak attack, but Shannon is now in control.

Henry Lesher - AJ took a huge step last week to escape the horrible shadow cast by Max Cameron.

Shannon stands AJ up, whips him off the ropes and then gives him a backdrop to the mat. Shannon the goes to the corner and climbs to the top rope. AJ gets to his feet as Shannon leaps off the top and he gives AJ a clothesline back to the mat where he again goes for the pin. 1...2... AJ rolls a shoulder out. Shannon then stands AJ up and whips him through the ropes and out to the floor before dropping and rolling out after him. Shannon stands AJ up and takes a jawbreaker from AJ. AJ then whips Shannon into the guard railing and then he picks Shannon up and slams him to the floor while the blonde who jumped the railing in the first match is up on her feet and arguing with AJ now.

Ricky Simms - Kaleigh, sit down!

Henry Lesher - That's quite the personality that girl has. She must take after her mother.

AJ stands Shannon up and rolls him into the ring before rolling himself in as well. AJ then applies an STF on Shannon and the referee checks for a submission. Shannon refuses to submit and we see Kaleigh sitting down again at ringside. Shannon reaches for the ropes while AJ tells the referee that he's hearing Shannon submit. The referee refuses to accept AJ's claim and Shannon reaches closer and closer to the ropes while the fans cheer him on. Shannon then lunges to the bottom rope and forces the break and then he pulls himself out to the floor. Kaleigh jumps to her feet and cheers Shannon on while AJ exits the ring.

Ricky Simms - Sit down, Kaleigh.

Henry Lesher - Your little girl needs to watch herself out here. Has she not seen wrestling before? Didn't she watch your numerous losses as a young child and.... ah, repressed childhood trauma. This explains so much.

AJ stands Shannon up and then gives him an upper cut to the jaw before he rolls Shannon into the ring and then he rolls himself in after giving Kaleigh another dirty look. AJ then places Shannon in a headlock. Shannon gets to his feet, backs AJ into a corner and then whips him to the opposite corner and follows that up with a running knee lift to the gut. Shannon then gives AJ a snap suplex to the middle of the ring and then goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by AJ who then reverses the pin and places his feet on the middle rope. 1...2...3! AJ gets the win and rolls himself out to the floor where he starts arguing with Kaleigh again.

Henry Lesher - Why don't you just put a leash on her and sit her down here with us?

Ricky Simms - This is so far from being funny, Doc.

Henry Lesher - Who's being funny?

AJ does step away from Kaleigh as Shannon leaves the ring and has a few words with AJ about his feet being on the ropes. AJ just turns his back and walks away while Shannon asks Kaleigh if she's okay. Shannon then turns and exits ringside while we look to Paulie la Cerva's office. Max Cameron is in his office and they are watching the monitor, an image of AJ Cameron heading up the ramp.

Paulie La Cerva - That's what we need from you, Max. We need the killer instinct that AJ has been showing. I want you to succeed, Max. It's no secret how I feel about Sal Clemenzo.

Paulie pauses and waits for an answer from Max, but he is not providing anything to work with.

Paulie La Cerva - See, you're the number one contender. Bloodshed is coming and you are the main attraction. You have to be marketable and this brooding act of yours won't work. Show me you want this. Show me that fire, Max. Show me that and the sky is the limit for you. Don't you see that?

Max lowers his head and exits the office.

Commercial Break

"King of the Stereo" by Saliva plays as Jack Spade makes his way onto the stage, the crowd cheering him on. Jack then runs down the ramp and slides under the bottom rope into the ring. He then jumps to his feet and tests the ropes while his music fades and then we hear "Hollow Man" by The Hollow Men and Gary Barber comes out onto the stage where the crowd greets him with loud boos. He pays no attention to the fans as he makes his way down the ramp to ringside. He doesn't take his eyes off of Spade and then he does for a moment to point at Ricky Simms' daughter and he tells security to get her out of here. Security then ushers Kaleigh away while she protests, to no avail.

Ricky Simms - She didn't do anything to him.

Henry Lesher - Barber wants to make sure his match isn't a side show. I agree with him.

Barber then pulls himself onto the ring apron and then he steps through the ropes into the ring which allows the referee to call for the bell and the match has started. Spade moves in and locks up with Gary Barber. Barber backs Spade to the ropes where the referee asks for a clean break. Barber takes a step back and then knees Jack in the gut before giving him a tilt a whirl backbreaker and then he goes for the quick pin. 1...2... kick out by Jack Spade. Barber then stands Spade up, whips him off the ropes and then gives him a dropkick which sends him down to the mat. Barber then goes to the ropes and climbs to the second rope. He then leaps off and gives Jack an elbow to the back which sends him back to the mat. Gary Barber then places Spade in a camel clutch while the fans start a chant for Spade.

Ricky Simms - Spade is always a hit with the fans.

Henry Lesher - Well, they are idiots, so that makes sense.

Spade refuses to submit when asked by the referee. He then pulls himself up to his hands and knees which weakens the hold. Spade then rolls over and is on top of Gary Barber, quickly going into a backbridge which also helps to hold the shoulders of Gary Barber down for a pin attempt. 1...2... Barber kicks out. Spade then quickly gets to his feet and then starts putting the boots to Gary Barber. Spade then stands Gary Barber up, whips him off the ropes and then gives him a backdrop to the mat before delivering a leg drop to the throat and then he again goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out again by Barber. Spade then stands Barber up, whips him into the corner and charges in for a shoulder block, but Gary Barber knees him in the face instead and Barber follows that up with a spear to the mat. Barber then lands a series of punches to the head on Jack Spade, then stands him up and whips him over the top rope and out to the floor.

Ricky Simms - Barber is back in control here.

Henry Lesher - Yeah, but it's not like he's facing someone with real talent.

Gary Barber goes to the corner buckle and makes his way to the top rope. He then launches himself off the top and lands a dropkick to the chest on Jack Spade which sends him back down to the floor. Gary Barber then gets to his feet, stands Spade up and rams his head into the guard railing. Barber then rolls Spade into the ring and then does the same himself. Barber goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Jack Spade. Gary Barber stands Jack Spade up, whips him off the ropes and then both men clothesline one another to the mat. Referee Steve Blake starts counting both men down while another chant for Jack Spade starts.

Ricky Simms - Good match up here as Jack tries to bring himself back into the title picture.

Henry Lesher - The only title Jack might have had a shot at was dissolved a few months ago.

On the four count, Jack gets to his hands and knees. Barber then rolls to his hands and knees and then places Jack in a headlock. Both men then get to their feet and Barber tries for a vertical suplex which Jack blocks. Jack then gives Barber a vertical suplex to the mat. Jack then gets to his feet, then goes to the corner and makes his way up the ropes to the top. We then see 6Pac Dudley emerging from the crowd and leaping over the guard railing to ringside. Spade spots him, turns and then lands a flying body press on 6Pac which sends him to the floor and draws a cheer from the crowd.

Ricky Simms - 6Pac is here!

Henry Lesher - And he's down.

Jack Spade then gets to his feet on the floor, rolls himself into the ring and is placed in a headlock by Barber who then gives Spade a DDT to the mat before rolling him into a pin attempt. 1...2...3! Gary Barber gets the win, in part due to the distraction provided by 6Pac Dudley. Barber rolls himself out of the ring to the floor with his arms raised. The crowd boos as he makes his exit. Meanwhile, 6Pac reaches under the ring and pulls out a baseball bat wrapped in barbed wire. He then rolls himself into the ring, gets to his feet as a groggy Jack Spade comes to and then 6Pac clubs him over the back with the bat. The crowd boos as 6Pac then puts the boots to him before he drops and rolls himself back out to the floor with the baseball bat raised above his head.

Ricky Simms - 6Pac is letting Jack Spade know that he is back.

Henry Lesher - I like the violence, but no one has ever cared about this guy.

As 6Pac heads out, we look backstage where Frank Merritt is with Myst in her office.

Myst - I said no.

Frank Merritt - I want my match with Tommy to be no DQ tonight. I wasn't asking.

Myst - I am not having a no DQ match tonight just because you asked for it.

Frank Merritt - Maybe I can talk to Paulie about that.

Myst - Go ahead. I don't give a damn.

Frank Merritt - Then I am not speaking clearly enough.

Frank gives Myst a clothesline to the floor and then he puts a boot to her throat. He actually smiles as he looks down at her, then leans down a little and speaks in a quieter tone.

Frank Merritt - I always wanted to shut you up. I always wondered what the big deal was with you, why everyone kisses your ass. I have no fear of you.

Shannon Skanes charges into the office and spears Frank right into the wall. Shannon then picks Frank up and slams her onto the desk of Myst. He then grabs the telephone on her desk, pulls the cord out of the back of it and then wraps it around the throat of Frank Merritt. Shannon then slams the phone itself across the forehead of Frank before he tightens the choke with the cord. Security then rushes in to try and regain some backstage order here, pulling Shannon away from Frank while trying to take control of Merritt as well.

Ricky Simms - This is insane.

Henry Lesher - It is. Frank is a God in my eyes now.

Commercial Break

"Hell's Bells" by AC/DC plays as Max Cameron makes his way onto the stage. The crowd gives him a mixed reaction, but they let out a loud ovation when Dizz comes out behind him, wearing a suit. Dizz waves to the fans and then he starts talking to Max about strategy for tonight's match. Max doesn't look up or really even acknowledge Dizz and his advice to Max. Max then slowly makes his way up the ring steps and then steps through the ropes into the ring. Casey Braun asks him if he's okay, but he looks away from her. His music then fades and we hear "Where Eagles Dare" by The Misfits and the new Old School champion, The Moose, makes his way onto the stage when the crowd gives him a loud ovation. He holds his belt high and then makes his way down the ramp to ringside before pulling himself onto the apron and then he steps through the ropes into the ring. He tosses his belt to the timekeeper at ringside and then the referee calls for the bell to start the action.

Ricky Simms - Max doesn't seem like himself this week.

Henry Lesher - Maybe someone made him watch his matches. I know they destroy my will to live.

Moose moves in and locks up with Max. Moose then shoves Max into the corner and then gives him a hip toss to the center of the ring. Moose then places Max in an arm bar. Max quickly gets to his feet and gives Moose a series of knife edge chops which back him into the corner buckle. Max then whips Moose to the opposite corner and rushes in and gives him a splash in the corner before giving him a bulldog to the mat and then he rolls him over for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Moose. Max then stands Moose up, whips him off the ropes and gives him a backdrop to the mat. He then looks skyward and pauses there.

Ricky Simms - What is going on with Max?

Henry Lesher - Maybe his brain finally gave up on him and left, same as his fan base.

Max turns his attention back to Moose after a few moments of looking skyward, standing Moose up, whipping him off the ropes and then missing with a clothesline as Moose ducks it. Moose then gives Max a knee to the ribs and then gives him a snap suplex to the mat. Moose then stands Max up, whips him into the corner and then climbs the ropes in the corner and starts raining punches down on Max while the crowd counts them off. After ten punches, Moose drops down off the ropes and then her gives Max another knee to the ribs and then gives him a pump handle slam to the mat before he goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Max.

Ricky Simms - Max needs to get himself into this match.

Henry Lesher - No he doesn't. He's terrible. He can just keep doing this.

Moose stands Max up, whips him off the ropes and then gives him a clothesline to the mat. Moose then goes to the corner and then he heads to the second rope while Max slowly gets to his feet. Moose then goes for a double axe handle from there, but Max ducks it and then he rolls himself out to the floor. Max paces on the floor while Dizz shouts at him from the other side of the ring, trying to advise Max on what to do. The crowd boos as Max just paces on the floor and doesn't even acknowledge Dizz. Moose drops and rolls himself out to the floor and then steps up behind Max, turns him around and then levels him with an upper cut. Moose then stands Max up and rolls him into the ring before doing the same himself. Moose stands over Max while Dizz shouts at Max to stand up.

Ricky Simms - Max just isn't himself.

Henry Lesher - He's losing, how much more like Max could he be?

Max grabs the ropes and starts to pull himself to his feet. Max then looks skyward again, turns and takes a kick to the gut from Moose who then picks Max up and then gives him a Moosedriver to the mat and then he goes for the pin. 1...2...3! Moose gets the win over Max Cameron tonight.

Ricky Simms - Max just never really got into the fight tonight.

Henry Lesher - Well, he is finally understanding how much he sucks. Let's put someone else into the match with Sal at Bloodshed. Max just isn't cut out for the spotlight anymore.

The crowd cheers Moose as he heads away from the ring with his title belt over his shoulder. Dizz just stands at ringside and shakes his head.

Commercial Break

"Suicide Messiah" by Black Label Society plays and the crowd boos as JC Michaels makes his way onto the stage. He pauses there and looks out to the crowd and then tells the camera that he doesn't care anyway. He then makes his way down the ramp towards the ring while paying no further attention to the crowd. He rolls himself under the bottom rope into the ring and then quickly gets to his feet and paces inside the ring. His music then fades and we hear "Halls of Fear" by Nino Rota and the new champ Sal Clemenzo comes out with the World Title belt raised high above his head, drawing a loud cheer from the crowd. He then places the belt over his shoulder and makes his way down the ramp with Cassandra O'Shea close behind him. Sal then hands the title belt to Cassandra and she places it over her shoulder and she smiles for the camera while Sal pulls himself onto the apron and then he has words with JC from there.

Ricky Simms - Huge main event tonight as these two renew their fight.

Henry Lesher - JC Michaels should have been the champ at least twice by now. This company should be ashamed of how they have handled such a talent as this.

Sal steps through the ropes into the ring and the referee calls for the bell to get the action officially underway. Sal locks up in a test of strength with JC Michaels. The crowd starts a chant for Sal and the champ has the early advantage in the test of strength. JC winces as his hands are bent back and then he kicks Sal in the gut, gives him a headbutt and then gives him a series of forearm upper cuts which send him into the corner. JC then gives Sal an arm drag to the center of the ring and then he applies a sleeperhold. Mark Davis checks for a submission, but the champ refuses to give up in this hold, this early in the match.

Ricky Simms - JV has the early advantage in this one.

Henry Lesher - Well, he is the superior wrestler. He handled real talent in BLPW while Sal wrestled hobos and idiots.

Sal reaches for the ropes while the fans try to spur him on and Cassandra is seen slapping the apron from ringside. Sal lunges out and manages to snag the middle rope which forces the break of the hold. Sal then drops and rolls himself out of the ring to regroup, but JC is close behind him. JC lands a series of double axe handle smashes across the back on Sal, then gives him a side suplex to the mat. JC then stands over the fallen Sal and cracks a smile which draws the ire of the nearby fans. JC then stands Sal up, rolls him into the ring and then does the same himself. JC then gives Sal punches to the face and then places his throat over the bottom rope and chokes him with it while the boos get louder.

Ricky Simms - JC may not win a popularity contest, but he's ahead in this match.

Henry Lesher - You don't have to be popular, just a winner. JC is a winner.

JC releases the choke before the referee reaches a five count and then he stands Sal up, whips him off the ropes and ducks his head for a backdrop. Sal kicks JC in the face and then gives him a series of knife edge chops to the chest before giving him a headbutt that sends him down to the mat. Sal then gives JC an elbow smash to the chest and then goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by JC Michaels. Sal then stands JC up, whips him into the corner buckle and then gives him a monkey flip to the middle of the ring. Sal then goes to the corner and jumps to the top rope. He leaps off and lands a falling headbutt on JC before he again goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by JC.

Ricky Simms - JC taking a lot from Sal here tonight. I'm actually amazed that the participants in the tournament are even able to go tonight.

Henry Lesher - The CWA had the right guys involved in that for once. I don't expect them to do it right twice.

Sal stands JC up, whips him off the ropes and misses with a dropkick as JC grabs the ropes. JC then moves in and puts the boots to Sal, then stands him up and whips him through the ropes and out to the floor. JC then takes a few steps back, waits for Sal to stand and then launches himself through the ropes and lands a suicide dive onto Sal Clemenzo. JC then stands Sal up, and then rams his head into the ring apron. JC then picks Sal up and gives him a power slam to the floor. JC then stands Sal up and rolls him into the ring and then he signals to the back. We see Hammer and Frank Merritt rushing down the ramp to the ring and the crowd boos. Hammer and Frank slip under the bottom rope into the ring and they start putting the boots to Sal while referee Mark Davis calls for the bell and states that JC has been disqualified. JC motions for a microphone which Sammy Jo Johnson tosses to him.

JC Michaels - Frank wanted a no DQ match with Tommy Purr. Management said no. The EVC doesn't ask. We tell you what happens. Now, your precious champion is going to pay the price tonight.

He tosses the microphone down as Gary Barber slips into the ring and joins in on the beating of Sal Clemenzo. Cassandra is seen screaming at ringside and tears stream down her cheeks. We then see AJ Cameron, Malk and Tommy Purr all rushing down the ramp to the ring. The crowd cheers as they chase off the EVC and stand over the champ inside the ring. Tommy has a few words with Frank Merritt.

Ricky Simms - I am not sure why Tommy's little group would come to the aid of Sal here. I imagine they know this could easily be any one of them.

Henry Lesher - Tommy just knew that I needed some screen time by him tonight. He is that considerate.

Ricky Simms - That's it for tonight fans. Tune in next week for another edition of Overdrive!

We fade to black with members of the EVC saying that this isn't over as they stand together on the stage.
