May 17, 2009 We open the show with Dizz inside the ring with Max Cameron at his side. Dizz - Last week, my client was made to look the fool. This week, due to circumstances beyond his control, Jack Spade is unable to be here tonight. I want Max to have a match here tonight so he can be focused on winning the title at Bloodshed. I will see this man get back to where he has been before. The CWA needs men like Max. It needs... Dizz's words are cut off as "Fame" by David Bowie starts to play and an unfamiliar wrestler steps out onto the stage with a cocky smile on his face. He makes his way down the ramp towards the ring while the crowd gives him a mixed response. He stops at ringside and checks his reflection in the camera lens before he pulls himself onto the apron. He then steps through the ropes into the ring. Dizz - Who the hell are you? Instead of responding verbally, he drills Dizz with an upper cut and then gives Max a clothesline to the mat. Max rolls out of the ring to the floor and quickly makes his way up the ramp. Dizz gets to his feet where the new face in the CWA then gives him a reverse neckbreaker back to the mat. He then goes to the corner buckle and climbs to the second rope while the fans boo him. Ricky Simms - I don't know who this kid is, but attacking Dizz won't make him popular. Henry Lesher - Notice how quickly Max got out of there. Yeah, he a number one contender. Ricky Simms - Fans, we will look into the identity of this attacker and fill you in after this commercial We return to the arena and Ricky Simms at ringside with Henry Lesher as usual. Ricky Simms - Well, we have been told that the man who attacked Max and Dizz was Joey Centerfold, a wrestler just signed to a contract here in the CWA. Henry Lesher - Hey, he has the look and he
attacked Max, so he's two for two in my book. Henry Lesher - Looks like your little girl wants to get closer to the action. Ricky Simms - Yeah, it would appear so. Rose pulls herself onto the ring apron and then steps through the ropes into the ring. She then tests the ropes while her music fades and Kaleigh takes her place at ringside. We then hear "Brick House" by Rob Zombie featuring Trina and Lionel Ritchie and Cassandra O'Shea makes her way onto the stage. The crowd cheers her on as she makes her way down the ramp and then slips under the bottom rope into the ring. She quickly gets to her feet and stands nose to nose with Rose. Cassandra's music then fades and we hear "The Movie" by Aerosmith and Hoshi Yakamoto makes her way onto the stage where she gets the liudest ovation of the three. She runs down the ramp to the ring and then slips under the bottom rope into the ring which allows the referee to call for the bell. Ricky Simms - Triple threat divas match here tonight. Henry Lesher - No one cares. Hoshi starts trading knife edge chops with Cassandra while Rose goes to the corner and climbs the ropes. Rose then leaps off and lands a flying cross body on both women, taking them down to the mat. Rose then stands Cassandra up, whips her off the ropes and then gives her a dropkick back to the mat while Hoshi gets to her feet. Hoshi then headlocks Rose and gives her a bulldog to the mat. Hoshi then stands Rose up, whips her off the ropes and gives her a spinning heel kick back down to the mat. Hoshi then goes to the ropes and makes her way to the top only to be caught there by Cassandra who then slams Hoshi to the mat. Cassandra then gives Hoshi a knee drop to the forehead and goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Hoshi. Ricky Simms - This match certainly has a fast pace to it. Henry Lesher - I just want this over. Can that Centerfold guy come back out here? There's more garbage he needs to clear out of the ring. Cassandra stands Hoshi up, whips her off the ropes and misses a clothesline when Hoshi ducks it. Hoshi then gives Cassandra a backslide into a pin attempt. 1...2... kick out by Cassandra. Both divas spring to their feet and are then clotheslined over the top rope and out to the floor by Rose. Rose then takes a few steps back before she runs, leaps over the top rope and for a second time lands on both women and takes them down, this time to the floor. Rose then stands Hoshi up and takes a jawbreaker from Hoshi who then rolls Rose into the ring before she rolls herself into the ring. Hoshi goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Rose. Cassandra gets to her feet on the floor and then gets tackled back to the floor by Rebella DeCesare who has emerged through the crowd. Rebella then picks Cassandra up over her shoulder and runs her head first into the corner post behind the referee's back. Rebella then drops Cassandra and stands over her while Hoshi stands Rose up inside the ring. Ricky Simms - Rebella has no business being out here. Henry Lesher - Everything is EVC business, Rick. Hoshi whips Rose off the ropes and Rose ducks a clothesline and then leaps through the ropes and dives onto Rebella at ringside. Rose then stands Rebella up and Kaleigh slaps Rebella across the face, then the two divas shove her over the guard railing and back to ringside while Hoshi looks on from inside the ring. Rose then spots the downed Cassandra and motions to referee Sugar about the state of the third wrestler in this match. The referee calls for the bell as she rolls herself out to the floor to check on Cassandra. Ricky Simms - This match has actually been ruled a count out victory for Hoshi, but there are bigger fish to fry. Henry Lesher - I don't know. I hear they don't get much fishier than Hoshi. Hoshi exits the ring and checks on the state of Cassandra as well while we head to commercial.
AJ Cameron - So I win this week. I win because JC is not here. The thing is, I cannot figure out why I am playing second fiddle to that supposed legend Max Cameron. I still have the tag gold. I beat him down. I am a winner. I am on the winning team. I am on my way up. I am not an overrated had been who never was. I am the unknown that is quickly becoming known and I am just awesome. I just wanted to let you fans know that I am here, I am a gold wearing champion and that I look forward to holding the tag titles forever since there is no one in this company worth worrying about. He then tosses the microphone down and holds
his belt high while many in the crowd boo his ego trip. He then
drops and rolls himself out to the floor. AJ Cameron is making his
way up the aisle towards the locker room when his music is cut off
and replaced by “Compton” by The Game. “Starvin” Marvin, the Shot
caller for the CCK., makes his way out from the back dressed in a
grey, custom tailored Armani suit. He holds a hand up to stop AJ
while bringing a microphone to his lips.
Ricky Simms - What are you doing out here? Frank Merritt - The EVC is not happy with the level of commentary at this table. I have been called upon to make certain our people are not being spoken about in a rude manner, so you might want to shut your pie hole Rick. Henry Lesher - Happy days are here again. Hammer stands Malk up, whips him shoulder first into the steel ring steps and then rolls him into the ring. Hammer then makes his way up the ring steps onto the apron and glares towards the booing crowd. Hammer then steps through the ropes into the ring and the referee calls for the bell to start the match. Hammer stands malk up, whips him off the ropes and then gives him a clothesline to the mat. Hammer then puts the boots to Malk while shouting down at him. Hammer then stands Malk up, slaps him across the face and then rakes his eyes along the top rope. He then punches Malk in the throat and then gives him a side Russian leg sweep to the mat. Hammer then goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Malk which draws cheers from the crowd. Ricky Simms - It doesn't sound like there's a lot of love for Hammer tonight. Henry Lesher - That's because the fans are idiots. Frank Merritt - That is very true. Hammer stands Malk up, whips him off the ropes and then gives him a big boot to the chest before placing him in a sleeperhold. The referee checks for a submission, but Malk refuses to give up. He reaches out towards the ropes while the fans start a chant for Malk. Malk then reaches back and lands a series of elbows to the gut on Hammer which weaken the hold. Malk then gives Hammer a snap mare to break the hold and Malk then picks Hammer up and slams him to the mat and then boot chokes him while holding the top rope for added leverage. Malk then releases the top rope and puts the boots to Hammer which sends Hammer scrambling out of the ring to regroup. Ricky Simms - Hammer, an XWA and BLPW legend, getting all he can handle from Malk tonight. Frank Merritt - Just wait and see how steep a price Malk pays here. Hammer is going to tool him. Malk drops and rolls himself out to the floor after Hammer. The two then start trading punches on the floor and Hammer ducks a right hook from Malk and then rams Malk's forehead into the guard railing before giving him a hair pull down to the floor. Hammer then gives Malk a knee drop to the forehead and then stands him up before rolling him back into the ring and then he does the same himself. Hammer then goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Malk. Hammer then stands Malk up and whips him over the top rope and right out to the floor. Hammer then has words with the referee while we see Gary Barber making his way down the ramp with a chair in hand. He drills Malk over the head with the chair and then drills him over the back with it. Barber then quickly retreats down the side of the ramp and out of sight of the referee. Gary Barber is then seen being dive bombed from above by Tommy Purr. Ricky Simms - Tommy just landed a suicide dive from the stage onto Gary Barber! Henry Lesher - Greatness clashes with legend there. Frank Merritt - Hey, Tommy is where he is because he cuddles with the management. That's just the truth. The referee starts a count on Malk, who isn't moving on the floor. Hammer climbs the ropes in the corner and poses for the booing fans, even holding his hand to his ear and saying that he can't hear them. Gary Barber is thrown into the side of the ramp by Tommy Purr who then gives Barber a side suplex to the floor. The referee then reaches a ten count and calls for the bell. Hammer immediately rolls himself out to the floor and charges down the side of the ramp towards Tommy, giving him a clothesline to the floor and then he picks up a length of cable before starting to whip Tommy with it. Ricky Simms - Oh, someone has to break this up. Frank Merritt - No they don't. Referees and road agents stream out of the back and pull Hammer away from Tommy. The camera shows large red welts across the back of Purr while the fans boo and tell Hammer that he sucks. Hammer shouts that no one messes with the EVC as security then starts to drag him away. Ricky Simms - All hell breaks loose and that surprises no one. Frank Merritt - Hey, if Tommy wants to try dive bombing Gary Barber, he's going to pay the price. Henry Lesher - The monster speaks the truth. Backstage we see Max Cameron walking the corridor with his head down when Dizz steps into his path. Dizz - What the hell was that? What is wrong with you? Some new guy walks into this company and sends you running? I am busting my ass to make you a number one contender and you're doing this? You watch him beat me down? Max actually steps past Dizz when Paulie La Cerva steps into his way. Paulie La Cerva - The man has a point, Max. You are the number one contender, but you have to start proving it. Next week, you get a match with this Joey Centerfold guy. I admit he has talent, but you're the number one contender. You had better start acting like it. Your list of allies is shrinking every week. I doubt even Shannon would be seen in public with you after what we saw here tonight. You're on thin ice, Max. I am not Wyatt Gibson. I won't let you get away with this for long. Max just lowers his head again and keeps walking. Paulie turns to Dizz. Paulie La Cerva - Straighten him out or we're
going to have to find someone else to challenge Sal in two weeks. Ricky Simms - Sal is not happy about what happened to Cassie earlier tonight. Henry Lesher - Threatening superior athletes is just stupid, though. His girlfriend needs to just stand there, look pretty and stay out of the fight. If Frank were still here, he would tell you that Ricky Simms - Yeah, apparently Frank will only call EVC matches as those are the only important ones to him. Sal steps into the ring and Bombshell attacks him with a series of kicks and punches while the referee calls for the bell to start the match. Bombshell whips Sal off the ropes and then gives him a dropkick to the mat. She then lands a springboard moonsault onto Sal and goes for the early pin. 1...2... kick out by Sal. Bombshell then wraps her hands around the throat of Sal Clemenzo and chokes him while the referee threatens to disqualify her. Bombshell then breaks the choke before she then places the throat of Sal over the bottom rope and she tries to choke him out in that fashion while the fans start a chant for Sal. Ricky Simms - Bombshell really is the alpha female of the CWA. Henry Lesher - That's sort of like winning a race at the Special Olympics. Even if you win, you're... Ricky Simms - Okay, enough Doc! Bombshell releases the choke before the referee reaches a five count, then stands Sal up, whips him off the ropes and gives him a backdrop to the mat. Bombshell then stands Sal up, whips him into the corner buckle and then she charges straight into a boot to the face from Sal. Sal then climbs to the second rope in the corner and lands a double axe handle smash to the back on Bombshell. Sal then picks Bombshell up and slams her to the mat and then he applies an STF on her which draws cheers from the crowd. Bombshell refuses to submit when asked by referee Mark Davis. Bombshell reaches for the ropes while we see Rebella DeCesare making her way down the ramp with a smile on her face. Ricky Simms - Okay, what is she doing out here? Henry Lesher - Showing that the EVC will dominate this show. Even their women are tougher than CWA men. Bombshell manages to pull herself closer to the ropes and manages to grab the bottom rope which forces the break of the hold. Bombshell then pulls herself out to the floor and Sal heads out after her. He then comes face to face with Rebella. He gives her a clothesline to the floor and then he puts the boots to her before he turns and takes a knee to the gut from Bombshell who then gives Sal a DDT to the floor. Bombshell then stands Sal up and rolls him into the ring before she does the same herself and then she goes for the pin. 1...2... Sal gets a foot on the bottom rope. Ricky Simms - That was close. Henry Lesher - This is what happens when Sal allows himself to be distracted like that. Bombshell stands Sal up, whips him off the ropes and then they both clothesline one another to the mat. The referee starts counting them both down as Rebella clowly gets to her feet on the floor. On the five count, Sal sits up and then he gives Bombshell an elbow to the ribs before he gets to his feet, pulling her up by the hair. Bombshell then lands a series of punches to the ribs on Sal before going for the Irish whip. Sal reverses it and Rebella wields a chair meant for Sal which strikes Bombshell in the head instead and the referee calls for the bell. Rebella retreats quickly as the ring announcer states that Sal has been disqualified. Ricky Simms - Rebella meant to hit Sal, but she cost him the match anyway. Henry Lesher - That's how bad things are. A woman beats Sal thanks to another woman. Maybe we should pull Max out of the match and put Martha Stewart in there. Sal won't last three minutes. Ricky Simms - Give me a break. Sal argues with the referee to no avail as we head to our final commercial break. Shengee Shmelky - I want Rose Lemieux in this ring right now! Ricky Simms - Wow, that was normal talk from Shengee. Henry Lesher - That's an improvement. If he hangs himself, I'll be a fan. "If You Seek Amy" by Britney Spears plays as Rose Lemieux makes her way out onto the stage for the second time tonight and then she makes her way down the ramp to the ring. She looks confused as she steps up onto the apron and then steps through the ropes into the ring, wearing black jeans and a black T-shirt, clearly ready to go home. Shengee Shmelky - Rose, I tried. I really did. I tried to be your friend. I tried to be your partner. I tried to make you believe in Flava. Over the years, I have busted my ass trying to get everyone to believe in Flava. I have learned that those efforts were in vain. This week, I learned you have a new partner, Ricky's idiot blonde daughter. Ricky Simms - Watch it there Frodo. Shengee Shmelky - These fans love you. These fans cheer you. Me? They laugh at me. They jeer me. I have given everything of myself for years and I have been left with nothing. I get no respect. I get no chance to show what I can really do. I am a joke. Rose Lemieux - Uh, Shengee, you have spent years talking like Vanilla Ice. You have dressed up like Spider Man. Adam West was your manager. You never get a move in on your opponents. Shengee then clotheslines Rose to the mat and then he stomps on her chest a few times before he smiles and speaks again, the crowd now loudly booing Shengee. Shengee Shmelky - Oh yeah, react now! Oh no, I have a spine! I have finally had enough! Rose, you smarmy little cookie cutter bitch, don't you know the truth? These fans never wanted to see the real me. They wanted a clown. They wanted me to be their puppet and the CWA hid me away while making money off my likeness. I have finally had enough. Rose starts to get to her feet, but Shengee levels her with a shot to the forehead with the microphone. Shengee Shmelky - I don't remember telling you that you could stand. See, I am not done with... "Running Down a Dream" by Tom Petty plays as Kaleigh Simms runs out onto the stage and then charges down the ramp before she rolls herself under the bottom rope into the ring. She grabs the microphone from Shengee. Kaleigh Simms - What the hell, Shengee? Rose has always been the one friend you have and you repay her like this? Take a step back and look at what you are doing here. You're abandoning everything good about yourself. Shengee Shmelky - I didn't ask for your opinion. See, I have had to go with my backup plan. Through Scavenger, I found a connection to a tag team which will do what I am unable to do. I admit, I am not physically capable of dominating the two of you, but these men are. "Gimme Shelter" by The Rolling Stones plays as two CWA veterans step out onto the stage where the crowd reacts with loud boos. They start down the ramp while Ricky Simms gets up from his broadcast position and then slides into the ring. Henry Lesher - This is great. These guys get to make my whole night. Maybe I am a Shengee fan after all. Shengee Shmelky - *as he pulls the microphone away from Kaleigh* No, you're not going to ruin my moment! I present to you Deep Freeze and Looney Tune! These men will ensure that I will never be disrespected again! They have vowed their allegiance to me! From here forward, I am no longer Shengee Shmelky. Call me... Tiny Tune! Henry Lesher - Oh Lord... Looney Tune and Deep Freeze roll themselves into the ring and Ricky puts his daughter behind him and seems ready to make a stand alone if he has to. We then see Scavenger and Tough Eagle charging down the ramp which draws loud cheers from the crowd. Eagle slides into the ring, trips Shengee down and grabs the microphone. Tough Eagle - Aw, hell no! Looney Tune, Deep Freeze, next week you face myself and Scavenger here. You're both bastards. Freeze, Scav and I toilet papered your house a million times during our RCW stay, so just imagine what we'll do to you now. Scavenger - And you, Looney, you're my cousin. We all knew you weren't right in the head, but I had no idea you were this far gone. I mean, by God, you talk to a bloody table on Christmas and you're sober? You're going to focus on a match when your best friend is a tree? Next week, I defend our family honor. You guys won't be attacking women, not here and not now. Shengee, you have ruined the Shmelk name now and forever. Somewhere, the albino nation weeps for your choices. See you all next week. Bring the scrawny bastard and make it a handicap match if you want to. It doesn't matter to us. Looney Tune and Deep Freeze back off with Tiny Tune close behind. Henry Lesher - Okay, what the hell was all of that? Let's go to commercial. I don't understand any of this.
Ricky Simms - Well... I will try to get my head back into the action here. Henry Lesher - What the hell was that? Ricky Simms - Shengee has lost his mind. If he thinks Looney Tune is a good ally... it's an odd choice. He makes Scavenger look like a genius, a sane one at that. If he takes another shot at Rose or my daughter, I'll knock that Hobbit into 2015. I don't care what is costs me. Moose steps through the ropes into the ring and the referee calls for the bell to start tonight's main event. Moose locks up with 6Pac and they struggle for control, shoving one another to the ropes where the referee gets between them and forces a clean break. Moose then shoves 6Pac and 6Pac answers with a slap to the ear on Moose. 6Pac then gives Moose a series of forearm upper cuts which drive the champ across the ring to the ropes, then whips him into the corner buckle before giving him a school boy roll up into a pin attempt. 1...2... kick out by Moose. 6Pac then stands Moose up, whips him off the ropes and then gives him a dropkick to the mat. 6Pac then jumps to his feet as Moose slowly gets up only to take an inziguri to the back of the head from 6Pac who again goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Moose. Ricky Simms - 6Pac with a close call there. Henry Lesher - Why are you pounding your fist against the table? Ricky Simms - It's either the table or you right now. 6Pac stands Moose up, whips him into the corner buckle and then goes for a shoulder block in the corner only for Moose to side step it and then Moose whips 6Pac shoulder first into the corner. Moose then picks 6Pac up and gives him a pump handle slam to the mat where he goes for the quick pin. 1...2... kick out by 6Pac. Moose then stands 6Pac up and whips him through the ropes and out to the floor. Moose then climbs the ropes in the corner, makes his way to the top and then jumps off, landing a double axe handle smash to the back on 6Pac. Moose then whips 6Pac head first into the guard railing before rolling him back into the ring. Moose poses for the cheering fans before he rolls himself back in. Moose then stands 6Pac up, whips him off the ropes and then gives him a spinebuster to the mat where he goes for another pin attempt. 1...2... kick out by 6Pac. Ricky Simms - If 6Pac wants to win this, he has to get Moose away from the power game and into a street fight, up tempo battle. Henry Lesher - You put a hole in the table. Ricky Simms - It can be your skull. Henry Lesher - I'll shut up then. Moose stands 6Pac up, whips him off the ropes and 6Pac ducks a clothesline and then goes for a reverse neckbreaker, but Moose blocks that and then headbutts 6Pac. Moose then gives 6Pac a knife edge chop to the chest, then whips him off the ropes and then both men shoulder block one another. 6Pac then eye gouges Moose, headlocks him and gives him a bulldog to the mat before rolling him over for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Moose. 6Pac slaps the mat and has words with referee Steve Blake about the speed of the count. 6Pac then stands Moose up, whips him off the ropes and then misses with a clothesline as Moose ducks it and then he gives 6Pac a backslide into a pin attempt. 1...2... kick out by 6Pac. 6Pac then rolls himself out to the floor with Moose following close behind. Ricky Simms - 6Pac is looking to regroup and Moose isn't letting him get away that easy. Henry Lesher - Are you writing the word "kill" over and over on the table with your car key? Ricky Simms - Not really your concern, Doc. Moose and 6Pac trade punches on the floor. 6Pac then knees Moose in the gut and then slams his head into the steel ring steps before taking hold of one arm, wrapping it around the corner post and then giving it a good tug, slamming the shoulder of the Old School champ into the unforgiving steel. 6Pac then rolls himself into the ring while he still has a grip on the hand. He pulls Moose into the ring by that hand and pulls him to his feet in a wrist lock which causes Moose to wince in pain, but he refuses to submit. He then knees 6Pac in the gut and then punches him in the head with his free hand before pulling his wrist free of 6Pac's grip. Moose shakes his hand and appears to be in some discomfort as he now has to fight with his left hand. He kicks 6Pac in the ribs and then whips him off the ropes before giving him a backdrop to the mat. 6Pac manages to land on his feet and dropkicks Moose in the back, sending him falling through the ropes and out to the floor. 6Pac then poses for the fans, impressed with himself tonight. Ricky Simms - 6Pac really needs to stay on Moose here. Henry Lesher - Your fingers and knuckles are red, you're gripping that key so hard. I have an opening at two tomorrow if that's good for you. Ricky Simms - I'm fine, Doc. 6Pac waits for Moose to stand on the floor and then he dives through the ropes and right into the arms of Moose who gives 6Pac a tilt a whirl backbreaker to the floor. Moose then stands 6Pac up, rolls him into the ring and then rolls himself in as well. He goes for the pin on 6Pac. 1...2... kick out by 6Pac. Moose shakes his head as he stands 6Pac up, then picks him up and goes for the Moosedriver, but 6Pac fights his way down and delivers a spinning DDT to the mat on Moose before going for the pin. 1...2... Moose gets a foot on the bottom rope and 6Pac strikes the mat with his fists. He then stands Moose up, whips him off the ropes and Moose ducks a clothesline and then goes for a reverse neckbreaker on 6Pac who blocks it and then 6Pac pulls something from his tights and punches Moose in the head, then in the throat as he's on his way down. 6Pac goes for the cover with his right hand out of sight of the referee. 1...2...3! 6Pac gets the huge upset win over Moose! Ricky Simms - That's a first. Henry Lesher - Moose will retire now. He can hang out with Max. 6Pac rolls himself out of the ring and we see that he had a set of brass knuckles on his hand that he clocked Moose with. He then makes his way over the the timekeeper and picks up the Old School title belt and poses with it as if he is trying it on for size. The fans boo him as he does so, smiling from ear to ear. We see a bloodied Moose inside the ring slow to respond when asked by the referee. 6Pac places the title belt back on the table and tells the camera that he plans to take that title at Bloodshed and says that his message has been sent to Moose tonight. Ricky Simms - Tonight was all about sending messages as we count down the weeks to Bloodshed. There is no telling what will happen next week on Overdrive! Henry Lesher - Agreed, I don't think you should carve that word on the table without telling Shengee what you think of his mother. It could upset him. Ricky Simms - Keep poking at me, Doc. We fade to black with a split shot of a cocky 6Pac standing on the stage while the crowd throws garbage at him and Moose lying bloodied inside the ring. This is clearly not over. |
