March 1st, 2009 Vancouver, BC The crowd cheers as we open the show without any fanfare or opening credits. We open with Scavenger standing in the middle of the ring on crutches. A chant is started for "Scav" and he nods appreciatively and even bows to the fans, a microphone in his hand. Scavenger - I have been through hell this past few months. Ever since Dragon injured me inside a steel cage, I have been trying to make a comeback and I have realized that this is a futile attempt on my part. I am afraid I am going to be forced to... retire. The crowd boos and Scavenger tears up, sighing while he looks towards the roof. Scavenger - Now, I know this won't be popular, so I am putting off the actual paper work for the time being. I also gave decided that now might be the time to let someone fight my battles for me. Anyone who has a problem with me can now deal with them. "Tiny Rubberband" by Butthole Surfers plays as Ingee and Shengee Shmelky make their way into the stage with a female we don't recognize. They get a warm reception from the crowd and make their way down the ramp towards the ring. They then pull themselves onto the apron and step through the ropes into the ring where Shengee takes the microphone. Shengee Shmelky - Yo yo yo, who else would be da ones to carry on for Scav yo? Ingee Shmelky - We have been wrestling for years now and this is the perfect time to strike, while the tag division is in a weakened state. The power of Shmelk will be... "Mother" by Danzig plays as Night Dweller emerges on stage with Candy. They quickly make their way down the ramp to the ring and Night Dweller rolls himself under the bottom rope into the ring while Candy stands on the ring apron. Night Dweller pulls the microphone away from Ingee. Night Dweller - Let me get this straight. The tin man here's gimped out and retiring and he's leaving you two to carry on his legacy? This is the worst decision you've ever made, Jake. Scavenger - I wasn't asking you. Night Dweller - No, because that would be the smart thing to do. Next week, I challenge the Shmelkys here to face myself and Candy there for the right to wrestle Scavenger's matches. Shengee Shmelky - Accepted yo. Ingee Shmelky - Accepted? Wait, I... Scavenger - Night Dweller, you're going to be humiliated when the Shmelky Brothers take you down next week. Night Dweller - I don't think so. Night Dweller then clotheslines both Shmelky Brothers to the mat and then chop blocks Scavenger, drilling his injured knee before he rolls himself out to the floor and then he starts making his way up the ramp with Candy who nods in approval of the actions against her brother. Ricky Simms - I thought Laura supported her brother. Henry Lesher - I'd want him hurt if he picked
those inbred idiots over me, too. Malk - *rolling his eyes* What this time? Wyatt Gibson - The good news is that you are facing against either Daniel McCoy or Sal Clemenzo next week for the Old School title. Malk - Wyatt, I have about had enough of this. Where's Myst? Wyatt Gibson - We haven't heard from her all week. I haven't been able to track her down and no one has heard from Shannon since his match with Rated R at Battle of the Warriors. Malk - Convenient for everyone, I guess. Wyatt Gibson - I'd like to talk to you about getting onto the card tonight. Malk - Wyatt, I don't trust you to book me anything right now. I guess I have to take the law into my own hands and make waves the Malk way. Wyatt Gibson - The Malk way? Malk - I guess I have to send a message to the rest of this company tonight. Wyatt Gibson - I'd advise against anything crazy. Malk - Point taken. Malk storms out while Wyatt is left to look on
nervously. "Ma Against The World" by Simple Plan plays as Eli Ryder makes his way onto the stage, the crowd giving him a warm response. He makes his way down the ramp towards the ring while his video plays on the big screen over the stage. http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/1/15/648798/neweliintrovid.wmv Eli then pulls himself onto the ring apron before he steps through the ropes into the ring. Eli then paces inside the ring while his music fades and we hear "Suicide Messiah" by Black Label Society and JC Michaels makes his way onto the stage drawing the boos of the crowd while his video now plays on the big screen. http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/1/15/648798/jcintrovid.wmv JC doesn't take his eyes off the ring as he makes his way down the ramp. He then pulls himself onto the apron and jaws at Eli from there. Ricky Simms - These two just plain don't like one another. Henry Lesher - Well, no, and that makes this a great match to have take place. JC steps through the ropes into the ring and referee Mark Davis calls for the bell to get the match started. Eli and JC start trading rights and lefts while the crowd cheers. Eli whips JC off the ropes and then gives him a backdrop to the mat. Eli then lands a knee drop to the forehead on JC and goes for the early pin. 1...2... kick out by JC Michaels. Eli then stands JC up, whips him off the ropes and misses with a clothesline as JC ducks it before he gives Eli a reverse neckbreaker to the mat. JC goes for the quick pin. 1...2... kick out by Eli. JC stands Eli up, whips him off the ropes and then gives him a shoulder block down to the mat before he puts the boots to Ryder. Ricky Simms - JC is taking over here on Eli. Henry Lesher - Well, JC is the superior athlete. JC places Eli's throat over the bottom rope and then chokes him with it. He then stands Eli up, whips him through the ropes to the floor and then poses for a loud booing crowd. JC then drops and rolls himself out to the floor with Eli. JC then stands Eli up and whips him shoulder first into the steel ring steps. He then rolls Eli into the ring before doing the same himself. JC then goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Eli. JC stands Eli up, whips him into the corner buckle and then goes for a shoulder block. Instead, Eli raises a knee to the face on JC and then gives him a tackle to the mat where he goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by JC. Eli stands JC up, whips him off the ropes and gives him a dropkick to the mat. Eli then goes to the ropes and makes his way to the top. He goes for a flying elbow smash to the chest on JC, but JC rolls out of the way and Eli crashes to the mat instead. Ricky Simms - Eli telegraphed that one. Henry Lesher - That's because he's not bright. JC gets to his feet and again puts the boots to
Eli. He then picks Eli up and gives him a power slam to the mat. JC
goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Eli. JC hoists Eli up onto
his shoulders to go for the Samoan Stunner. Eternity - Shadow told me you'd be bothering me tonight. Wyatt Gibson - I was wondering if you need me for anything tonight. Eternity - I only need one thing from you. Sal Clemenzo is not to interfere with my becoming the CWA champion tonight. I must leave this show as the title holder and prove the superiority of the EVC. Wyatt Gibson - Well, that won't be easy. Eternity - Oh, I will beat him. Moose and I are both real wrestling legends, but I am the better man. Wyatt Gibson - You know, last week Shadow was confident as well. Eternity - That's right and he would have been champion this week if not for Sal Clemenzo. He was moments away from winning that title and this week it's my turn. If I am not champion by the end of the show, JC Michaels will enjoy making you jump through hoops next week. Wyatt Gibson - Next week is JC's week to run Overdrive? Eternity - Yes and he will face me for the CWA title. Wyatt Gibson - That's quite the claim. Eternity - I also want to let you know I want two referees for my title match this week. Wyatt Gibson - I guess I can arrange that. Eternity - Hey, it's your job if you can't. Wyatt nods and sheepishly leaves the office. "I Hate Everything About You" by Three Days Grace plays and Rated R comes out onto the stage with a microphone in hand and doesn't look impressed. Rated R - No, no, no, this is all wrong. You see, I headline shows. Eternity, you're running this show wrong. The people want me in the main event. They don't care about your cage match or about Moose. They don't care about Sal Clemenzo and Daniel McCoy fighting over a title I didn't care enough about to put an effort into winning. Tommy Purr and Gary Barber are not headliners. When this company has had its greatest success, it has been built around me and not around rejects from another company. I know I am only facing Max Cameron and no one gives a damn about him, but... "Hell's Bells" by AC/DC plays and the lights darken almost to black. The lights come up a few moments later and Max is face to face with Rated R. Max Cameron - My God, just shut up Ryan! I have been stuck in a rut for a month now and I don't come out here and bore the crowd to death about it. Rated R - Yes, but people expect you to fail. It's your shtick. Max Cameron - Don't take it out on me because you can't beat Myst. Rated R - She's more of a man than Daniel McCoy and he beat you. Max drops Rated R with a clothesline to the stage and then starts putting the boots to him. Max then picks Rated R up and slam him to the steel stage and then gives him a leg drop across the throat. Max then stands Rated R up and takes a low blow from Rated R who then gives Max a backdrop onto the stage. Rated R then chokes Max on the stage while the crowd cheers the violence. Ricky Simms - These two go way back. Henry Lesher - Max is an idiot. Now he's going to take a beating from Ryan even worse than the one he was in for. Rated R is right. He is main event material and they dropped the ball in having him on this early in the show. Rated R breaks the choke and stands Max up and runs him face first into the supports for the big screen. Max is split wide open across the forehead as referee Steve Blake tries to break this up. Rated R rams the referee's head into the steel support as well and then gives him a DDT to the stage. Rated R then turns his attention back to Max and sets him for a vertical suplex. Max blocks it and then he gives Rated R a snap suplex which drives both of their backs to the steel. Max then slowly gets to his feet and then he picks Rated R up and gives him a sidewalk slam to the steel stage. Security starts rushing out onto the stage in an effort to break them up. Ricky Simms - Maybe this match won't happen. Henry Lesher - But this works to Rated R's advantage. He just stole the show with this spot. Max shoves security personnel away and then he kicks Rated R in the ribs before he picks him up and slams him to the stage again. Max then stands Rated R up only to take a knee to the ribs form Rated R who then eye gouges Max and gives him a headbutt before dropkicking him right off the stage and down to the floor. Rated R then stands on the stage with an evil grin on his face as the camera slowly turns towards the floor where Max is lying flat on his back and appears to be out cold. Medics rush out to attend to Max Cameron. Ricky Simms - My God, Rated R knew damned well that Max was on the edge of the stage. He meant to do that. Henry Lesher - That's why he is the best. He doesn't commit violent acts by luck. I am so glad he's back. Max's neck is placed in a brace while they tey to load him onto a stretcher. Nearby fans shout their support to Max, but he isn't moving and Rated R's grin keeps getting wider as Max is lifted. Rated R then finds the discarded microphone he had been using minutes earlier. Rated R - That's what happens when people interrupt me. I am the main event in the CWA. I won't allow this disrespect to continue. He drops the microphone and walks away while
the fans chant "You suck" at him. Ray Dees - Tonight Hammer has a match with Greyson Blaze. Let's see what he has to say about that. Ray opens the door to the locker room and we see Hammer on the floor, out cold and in a pool of his own blood. He's bleeding from the forehead and we see Greyson Blaze trying to duck out of the way with a chair in hand. Ray Dees - Greyson, you did this? Greyson slowly steps out of the shadows and nods while more medical staff are called into action, looking after Hammer. Hammer stirs while Greyson makes his way into the hallway with Ray Dees. Ray Dees - Greyson, why? Greyson Blaze - I was given a task tonight. I was told to take Hammer out. The EVC wanted him taken out. I did what I had to do, Ray. Ray Dees - This goes against everything you have stood for since you arrived here. Greyson Blaze - That's why my father made me do it, Ray. Ray Dees - You have to stand up for yourself. This can't continue. Greyson Blaze - *sighs* It's just begun Ray. My father plans to destroy me inside. I only have myself to blame, but I'm not licked yet. The New Tomorrow will get to the top and weather this. Mark my words. Ray dees - I certainly hope so. Greyson lowers his head and walks away while we
return to the ring. "Hollow Man" by The Hollow Men plays as Gary Barber makes his way onto the stage. He receives loud boos from the crowd and is accompanied onto the stage by Shadow who is on crutches. Kathy Smith - I have just been informed that Shadow is unable to compete tonight as he has sprained his ankle backstage. He will be managing Gary Barber for this match tonight. Ricky Simms - I smell a rat. Henry Lesher - You're downwind of yourself? Barber reaches ringside while Shadow limps down the ramp on his crutches. He then takes a seat on the ring steps and tells the camera he will try to make it through this match tonight. Gary Barber rolls himself under the bottom rope into the ring and then quickly gets to his feet while his music fades and then we hear "Crazy Bitch" by Buckcherry and Tommy Purr makes his way onto the stage. He starts making his way down the ramp towards the ring and then stops at ringside and looks over at Shadow. He shakes his head and smiles as his music stops and then we hear "Voices" by Rev Theory and Malk makes his way onto the stage and quickly makes his way down the ramp to ringside where he glares at Shadow while Tommy pulls himself onto the apron. Ricky Simms - Tommy has a body guard tonight. Henry Lesher - Couldn't he find anyone good? Tommy steps through the ropes into the ring and referee Francis Clarke calls for the bell to get the match started. Tommy locks up with Barber and the two grapple in the ropes. The referee asks for a clean break and Tommy takes a step back only to take a thumb to the eye from Gary Barber. Barber then whips Tommy off the ropes and then gives him a backdrop to the floor next to Shadow. Shadow takes a step towards Tommy and raises one of his crutches. Malk quickly makes his way around the ring and grabs the crutch from Shadow's hand while the referee takes notice of what is happening at ringside. He orders Malk away from Shadow and Shadow away from Tommy. Tommy gets to his feet and takes a baseball slide to the chest from Gary Barber. Ricky Simms - Barber still gets the aid of the distraction even though it didn't go according to plan. Henry Lesher - He's just that smart and the EVC are always a step ahead. Gary slips out to the floor and stands Tommy up and rams his head into the guard railing. He then picks Tommy up and power slams him to the floor. Gary then rolls himself into the ring and then back out to the floor. Gary stands Tommy up and gives him a series of knife edge chops that back him up to the steel ring post. Gary then tries to slam Tommy's head into the post, but Tommy blocks it, elbows Gary in the ribs and then slams his head into the steel ring post. Tommy then rolls himself into the ring to break up the count and then back out to the floor. Tommy then picks Gary up and power slams him to the floor. Tommy then stands Gary up and whips him shoulder first into the steel guard railing. Tommy then rolls Gary into the ring before rolling himself in where he goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Gary as Shadow jumps onto the apron. Ricky Simms - Shadow is showing remarkable agility for a man with an ankle problem. Henry Lesher - Moments of sheer terror can cause people to have a rush of adrenaline. I am sure he's in blood-curdling pain. Ricky Simms - Yeah right. Tommy gets to his feet and has words with Shadow as Malk charges around the ring and pulls Shadow off the apron to the floor. Malk starts trading blows with Shadow while Tommy stands Gary Barber up inside the ring. Tommy whips Barber into the corner buckle and then gives him a shoulder block in the corner before he then whips him to the opposite corner. Tommy charges in for a shoulder block, but finds no one home as Gary Barber side steps it and then he gives Tommy a knee to the gut followed by a German suplex to the mat. Barber then applies a camel clutch on Tommy while Malk and Shadow dives right over the guard railing and into the crowd while still fighting with one another. Tommy refuses to submit when asked by the referee and starts pulling himself up from the mat while security rushes down the ramp to break up Malk and Shadow. The referee turns his attention to them for a moment and Tommy lunges to grab the bottom rope. He manages to grab the bottom rope, but the referee misses it and Barber quickly drags Tommy to the center of the ring. Barber then locks in the Ockham's Razor while the crowd boos the referee. Tommy tries to reach for the ropes while Barber maintains his hold. Tommy is then forced to tap out and the referee calls for the bell. Ricky Simms - Francis Clarke was distracted and Gary Barber gets the win over Tommy here. Henry Lesher - Barber is that smart. Tommy's bodyguard cost him the match. Ricky Simms - That wasn't Malk's fault. The EVC are playing games. Henry Lesher - And they are winning them. Try to keep up, Rick. Gary Barber exits the ring and he and Shadow
make their way up the ramp with Barber's hand raised. Shadow is not
using crutches now and has no limp. He informs the camera that it's
a miracle while they head backstage. Adam West - What in the name of gravy are you boys doing? Shengee Shmelky - Yo yo yo, Batman, we be keepin' it real yo. Fight for the rights of Scav! Ingee Shmelky - We know what we're doing. Adam West - I don't believe you do, fair skinned chums. Shengee Shmelky - There be a match next week, yo, and we want you to be there. Adam West - No, I cannot, but I found someone who can take care of you guys. Ingee Shmelky - We'll be fine. We're against Night Dweller and Scavenger's sister. Adam West - No, my water proof toadstools. You will be fine. A face we haven't seen in quite awhile shows up at the door. Zack McCracken - Hello fellows. Ingee Shmelky - We're doomed. Adam West - All is well, my hungry little
hippos. "Firefly" by Breaking Benjamin plays as Daniel McCoy makes his way onto the stage. He receives loud boos from the crowd and he shakes his head as he makes his way down the ramp towards the ring. He then circles the ring once while having words with the fans. He also nods towards Henry Lesher at ringside before he pulls himself onto the ring apron. McCoy then steps through the ropes into the ring while his music fades and then we hear "Halls of Fear" by Nino Rota and Sal Clemenzo makes his way onto the stage. He receives a loud ovation from the crowd while Cassandra O'Shea follows closely behind him. Sal then makes his way down the ramp to the ring and rolls himself under the bottom rope onto the canvas where Daniel McCoy greets him with kicks and punches while referee Rob Rai calls for the bell. Ricky Simms - The winner of this match faces Malk next week for the Old School Title. Henry Lesher - So the winner gets the title next week, gotcha. McCoy stands Sal up, whips him off the ropes and then gives him a dropkick to the mat. McCoy then gets to his feet, stands Sal up and whips him into the corner before giving him an inverted atomic drop and then a headbutt back into the corner. McCoy then climbs to the second rope and starts raining down punches on Sal, but Sal pulls McCoy out of the corner and gives him a sit down powerbomb to the mat and then goes for the pin. 1...2... McCoy gets a foot on the bottom rope. Sal then stands McCoy up, whips him off the ropes and gives him a clothesline to the mat. Sal then pulls McCoy to the middle of the ring and applies a sharpshooter on McCoy. Ricky Simms - Sal wants to end this one fast here. Henry Lesher - And why not? He's a busy man. McCoy refuses to submit when asked by the referee and he tries to pull himself towards the ropes. Sal maintains his hold while McCoy pulls himself up to his elbows and slowly crawls towards the ropes. He then makes a desperate lunge and manages to grab the bottom rope. The referee forces the break of the hold and McCoy escapes under the bottom rope and out to the floor. McCoy then gets to his feet on the floor while Sal flies over the top rope and lands a flying body press on McCoy which sends him to the floor and brings the crowd to its feet. Sal then stands McCoy up, whips him into the guard railing and then he rolls McCoy back into the ring before doing the same himself. Sal goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by McCoy who reverses the pin into a small package. 1...2... kick out by Sal and Clemenzo rolls away before jumping to his feet. McCoy uses the ropes to get to his feet. Ricky Simms - Sal is trying to wear McCoy down here, but Daniel is a slippery opponent. Henry Lesher - I'm just glad it's real men inside the ring for this one. McCoy and Sal then start trading punches in the middle of the ring. McCoy eye gouges Sal, whips him into the corner buckle and then charges into raised knees from Sal who then jumps to the second rope and gives McCoy a bionic elbow from there which knocks Daniel down to the mat. Sal then quickly pulls McCoy to the middle of the ring, rolls him onto his stomach and then applies the Sicilian Sleeper. Sal tells McCoy to give up while Daniel refuses to do so when asked by the referee. McCoy tries to pull himself up from the mat and reach for the ropes, but he is fading quickly in Sal's hold. McCoy slumps to the mat and the referee checks on him. McCoy's arm falls once, then a second time and then a third which causes the referee to call for the bell. Ricky Simms - Sal is your winner. Henry Lesher - Sal wins the title next week then. Sal's arm is raised in the middle of the ring as Malk appears through the crowd. He jumps over the guard raling and slips into the ring. He stands face to face with Sal and says they'll meet next week. Sal nods and then turns and exits the ring where he is greeted by Cassandra. Malk stays inside the ring and looks down at Daniel McCoy, shaking his head. Malk then grabs McCoy around the throat, picks him up and shoke slams him to the mat before he drops and leaves the ring. Ricky Simms - Malk sends two messages in one trip to the ring. Henry
Lesher - Yeah, he is apparently really good at beating up
unconscious wrestlers. Rated R - I didn't say you could come in. Wyatt Gibson - Hey, I am the GM of this show. Rated R - You're nothing, Wyatt. I took Shannon out and I noticed Myst missing after her match with me last week. The way I see, you are next. Wyatt Gibson - No, no, not at all. Rated R - If you want to talk to me about Max tonight, that was his fault. He shouldn't have been standing there. Wyatt Gibson - No, you have this delusion that you're above everyone and you're the main event. Rated R - What you call delusion, I refer to as reality. Wyatt Gibson - Next week, you get your chance to prove you can still be the main event. Next week, you get a match with Tommy Purr. Rated R - Then, that's your main event next week. Oh, and be careful starting your car tonight. It would be a shame if anything were to happen to you. Wyatt Gibson - You're
such a prick. "The Imperial March" by Metallica plays as Eternity makes his way onto the stage. The cage is lowered onto the ring as he makes his way down the ramp and then he tests the strength of the steel mesh from the outside. Eternity then makes his way in the door and then makes his way up the ring steps before stepping through the ropes into the ring. Eternity then waits while his music fades and "Where Eagles Dare" by The Misfits plays and the CWA champion Moose makes his way onto the stage where the crowd greets him with a loud ovation. Moose makes his way down the ramp towards the ring and then steps through the door into the cage. He tosses his title belt to the timekeeper before the door is closed behind him. Kathy Smith - For tonight's main event, we have two referees. To call tonight's main event, here are Steve Blake and Joe Davidson! "Secret Separation" by The Fixx plays as Joe and Blake come out side by side wearing yellow and black striped referee's shirts. The crowd cheers the tag team being reunited as tonight's law enforcement for this match. Ricky Simms - They were "Big Blake" and "Bad Boy" Joe. They were called the yellow and black attack. They dominated the tag team scene in the late 80s. Henry Lesher - And now they're in their late 80s. I'm interested to see where Eternity is going with this idea. As Blake and Joe enter the cage, Moose steps through the ropes into the ring and the referees call for the bell to get the match officially started. Moose locks up with Eternity. Eternity backs Moose into the ropes and then Moose knees Eternity in the gut. Eternity eye gouges Moose and then places his throat over the top rope and chokes him with it. Eternity then gives Moose a series of knife edge chops to the chest and then gives him a knee to the gut and a double under hook suplex to the mat where he goes for the early pin. 1...2... kick out by Moose. Eternity then stands Moose up and whips him through the ropes and out to the floor. Eternity then drops and rolls himself out of the ring to the floor. Eternity stands Moose up and rams his face into the steel mesh. He then picks Moose up and runs him towards the steel corner post. Moose slides off Eternity's shoulder and then rams him face first into the corner post and then rams his face into the steel mesh. Ricky Simms - Both men are bleeding now after encountering the unforgiving mesh of the cage. Henry Lesher - Cage matches are usually a fun thing to watch. Moose then picks Eternity up and slams him to the floor. Moose then stands Eternity up and rolls him into the cage and then he rolls himself in before going for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Eternity. Moose then stands Eternity up, whips him into the corner buckle and then lands a series of shoulder blocks on Eternity before he gives him a belly to belly overhead suplex to the middle of the ring. Moose again goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Eternity. Moose then stands Eternity up, whips him off the ropes and Eternity ducks a clothesline before giving Moose a face buster to the mat. Eternity then rolls himself out to the floor, reaches under the ring apron and pulls out a kendo stick. Ricky Simms - Clearly, Eternity had a plan coming into this match. Henry Lesher - Oh, for sure this is the end of Moose's reign of terror. The EVC will own every title in the CWA. Eternity rolls himself into the ring with the kendo stick in hand. He then gets to his feet before he starts whipping Moose across the back with the kendo stick. Eternity smiles as Moose rolls around the ring and is drilled over and over again by the kendo stick. Moose then rolls himself out of the ring to the floor and then proceeds to crawl right under the ring. Eternity drops and rolls himself back out to the floor and then lifts the apron with the intention of followed Moose. He takes a chair shot to the face from a waiting Moose. Moose then slams the chair across the head of Eternity which sends him sprawling to the floor. Ricky Simms - Moose outsmarted Eternity there. Henry Lesher - Well, he is the champ for a reason. Still, the EVC won't be denied tonight. Moose crawls out from under the ring and then stands Eternity up and rolls him into the ring. Moose drops the chair and he picks up the kendo stick. Moose then rolls himself into the ring and then starts choking Eternity with the kendo stick. Moose releases the choke, stands Eternity and whips him off the ropes before drilling him in the gut with the kendo stick. Eternity doubles over and takes a wicked shot to the back with the kendo stick. Moose then rolls Eternity into a school boy pin attempt. 1...2... kick out by Eternity. Moose then stands Eternity up and takes a thumb to the eye from the challenger. Eternity then pulls the kendo stick from Moose's grasp and proceeds to break it over the champion's head. Eternity tosses the two broken pieces out of the ring and then sets for and delivers a brainbuster on Moose before he goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Moose. Eternity has a few words with referee Steve Blake about the speed of the count and looks to Joe Davidson who shrugs. Ricky Simms - Eternity wanted a faster count there. Henry Lesher - If he wants anything fast, he hired the wrong referees for the match. Eternity stands Moose up, whips him off the ropes and Moose ducks a clothesline and then gives Eternity a backslide into a pin attempt. 1...2... kick out by Eternity. Eternity then rolls Moose into a small package while Moose tries to roll Eternity into one as well. Both referees count the pin. 1...2...3! The bell sounds and the crowd is confused as to who pinned who here. Ricky Simms - I think Moose won. Henry Lesher - No, Eternity won. He is the new champion. Referee Steve Blake grabs the title belt from the timekeeper and then heads back into the cage. He hands the title belt to Eternity and the fans boo. Joe shakes his head, pulls the belt away from Eternity and hands it to Moose which draws cheers from the crowd. The two referees then start arguing about who got the pin and what they saw. Blake says he saw Moose's shoulders down while Joe argues he saw Eternity's shoulders down. Moose and Eternity both look puzzled at this turn of events. Eternity then kicks Joe in the gut while Moose does the same to Blake. Moose and Eternity both give DDTs to the guest referees for the main event and then they stand nose to nose. Ricky Simms - This one is nowhere near over. Henry Lesher - Clearly, it is not. "Suicide Messiah" by Black Label Society plays as JC Michaels comes out to loud boos from the crowd. He has a microphone in hand. JC Michaels - I guess there is one way to settle this, guys. Next week, I get my shot at the title. I get that shot by facing both of you in a triple threat match. See you next Sunday. Moose and Eternity nod inside the ring and agree to settle this next week. The crowd cheers the announcement and Moose places the title belt over his shoulder. Eternity points a finger at it and says it's rightfully his and he'll prove it next week. Ricky Simms - Moose is in hell next week, fighting two members of the EVC. Henry Lesher - Hey, that's fair. JC is a great leader. All hail JC! Ricky Simms - Just shut up. Well, fans, that's it for this week. Tune in next week for another amazing edition of Overdrive! We fade to black on Moose with the title belt over his shoulder while Eternity heads up the ramp and nods his head towards JC Michaels, a smile on both of their faces. |
