June 6, 2010 Rated R - This is a big night, just the beginning. Shannon Skanes - *smirks* Agreed. Rated R - I expected the same seething animal from two weeks ago. No attack imminent? Shannon Skanes - It's no fun when you see it coming. Watch your back, Ryan. Shannon pushes past Ryan and we hear "Come
Undone" by Korn as we see images of The Moose, Bullrush, Effing
Legendary, Slim Pickens, Rated R, Lucy Johnson and Scavenger before
we head to ringside where Henry Lesher and Ricky Simms are ready to
call tonight's action. Kenneth Hill - We have already defeated the Yakamoto Sisters. We do not have anything left to prove to the two of you. We have nothing to gain by defeating you again. We will not defend these belts against you two tonight. If anyone has a problem with that, we're the champs. We make the rules. The tag team champions then turn and leave the stage while the crowd boos them loudly. Hoshi and Kira are animated as they exit the ring area and chase the tag team champions. Ricky Simms - This is all wrong. Terrible decision by Southern Comfort. Henry Lesher - Hey, they are the champs. This was their challenge and no one worthy accepted it. Why risk injury against the sloppy second sisters when you can wait for real contenders? As the Yakamoto Sisters head backstage in pursuit of the champs, Max Cameron steps out onto the stage where he receives a mixed response from the crowd. He already has a microphone in hand. Max Cameron - Well, that didn't work out so well. If Hoshi and Kira had waited around.... see I believe tag team wrestling is important and the CWA should be the place where the best tag teams compete. At Sunstroke next month, Southern Comfort will defend their titles against the Yakamoto Sisters and... against a team which has yet to be decided. At the next Assault, the last one before Sunstroke, there is an open invitation match to decide the final team in that match. I will then announce the stipulation for that Sunstroke match, one of the seven circles of hell we shall see next month. I am the GM now, so I'll make sure I put together the type of event that Wyatt Gibson never could. "Hell's Bells" by AC/DC then plays as Max exits
the stage area and we head backstage. Ray Dees - Ryzz, you were supposed to debut tonight, but there has been no sign of either of your opponents. Ryzz - It's my violent tendencies, Ray. People know what I did in MMA and what I could do inside a wrestling ring, so they stayed away. Ray Dees - That's assuming a lot of Celestin and Blaze, isn't it? Ryzz - Listen to their names, Ray. I am a man who has done some violent things and I will do more violent things in the CWA. Give me an opponent and I'll show you what I can do. Bullrush steps in, a smirk on his face. Bullrush - Hey, Bullrush here, double CWA champion, you know me. I couldn't help overhearing how violent you are. Ryzz - And? Bullrush - See, I have fought with actually violent people. JD Mohr has humbled a lot of violent people. Ryzz - I am still missing your point. Bullrush - I pride myself as a fighting champion. I have two belts and I want them both to be defended regularly. Tonight, Legendary will fall at my hand and fail in his attempt to enter the Sunstroke main event. In two weeks, I'll go ahead and deal with your ego. You get your chance to be famous. You get a shot at the Vivid-Gore Title. That means hardcore rules. Ryzz - What's the catch? Bullrush - You first prove yourself worthy of the title shot. Before you face me, you first have to beat Slim Pickens. Ryzz - *smirks* Yeah, fine, you're on. They shake hands on it and we return to the
ring. Ricky Simms - The action finally gets going here with this promising battle. Henry Lesher - This is not promising. It's terrible. I thought we were done with terrible. Scavenger locks up with Slim Pickens. Slim shoves Scavenger into the ropes and then gives him a series of forearm upper cuts before giving him an Irish Whip into a backdrop to the mat. Slim then gives Scavenger a knee drop to the forehead and then goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Scavenger. Slim then stands Scavenger up, whips him off the ropes and gives him a knee to the gut which doubles him over and then he gives him a knee lift to the face into a side Russian leg sweep to the mat where he again goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out again by Scavenger. Ricky Simms - Slim is looking for the quick win here. Henry Lesher - Why not? He's against a chair wielding Shmelky wanna be. Slim stands Scavenger up, whips him off the ropes and then dropkicks him down to the mat. Slim then goes to the ropes and climbs to the second rope. Scavenger stands and Slim goes for a double axe handle smash. Instead, Scavenger catches him by the throat and choke slams him to the mat. Scavenger then lands a leg drop to the chest on Slim before he then goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Slim. Scavenger then stands Slim up, whips him into the corner buckle and then gives him a series of shoulder blocks there. Scavenger then hip tosses Slim to the mat and then applies a nerve hold on Slim. The referee checks for a submission, but Slim refuses to give up. Ricky Simms - Now it's Scav who wants the quick win. Henry Lesher - Well, Slim is an old Shmelky wanna be himself. Slim reaches out and manages to grab the middle rope which forces the break. Slim then gives Scavenger a series of elbows to the gut before raking his eyes along the top rope and then punches him in the throat, dropping Scav to one knee before he then clotheslines Scavenger to the mat. Slim then boot stomps Scavenger to the chest while Lauren is seen pacing at ringside. Slim then stands Scavenger up, whips him off the ropes and then both men clothesline each other to the mat. The referee starts counting them both down, but doesn't get beyond a two count before they both jump to their feet and start trading punches. Ricky Simms - Hotly contested battle here. Henry Lesher - As they decide to is the bigger jobber. Slim ducks a right hook from Scavenger and then gives him an atomic drop into an inverted neckbreaker. Slim then picks Scavenger up from the mat and slams him back to the mat before he gives him an elbow smash to the neck. Slim then stands Scavenger up, whips him off the ropes and dropkicks him down to the mat. Slim then goes to the ropes, but Scavenger gets to his feet. Slim is caught on the top and then gets slammed to the mat from there by Scavenger. Scavenger then climbs the ropes and appears to be going for his finisher. Slim gets to his feet and Scavenger goes for the clothesline. Slim catches Scavenger in mid-air and gives him a DDT to the mat and rolls him up for the pin. 1...2...3! Slim Pickens gets the win over Scavenger this week. Ricky Simms - Hard fought win for Slim here. Henry Lesher - Yeah, so he's less Shmelky than Scavenger. No one cares. Slim exits the ring and starts to make his way
up the ramp only to be speared down by Ryzz. The crowd boos as Ryzz
stands over Slim and tells him that's a preview for when they meet.
He raises his arms in victory and heads back up the ramp. Inside the
ring, Lauren attends to Scavenger while Kelli rushes to the side of
Slim. Tricia Smith - Awesome to see you! Kosmic Kitty - *through a strained smile* Look, I came to talk to you about tonight. Tricia Smith - I am so excited for tonight. Kosmic Kitty - You're a nice girl, Tricia. Stay away from Ryan. Tricia Smith - Forfeit the match? I don't think so. Kosmic Kitty - I would never tell anyone to do that, but tonight... you need to. Tricia Smith - I know you have a history with him, but... Kosmic Kitty - You don't know what you're getting yourself into. Tricia Smith - I'll be okay. God, people are too worried. Kosmic Kitty - Because you're not worried enough. Tricia Smith - I feel so honored you would come and wish me well, but I'll be fine. Kosmic Kitty - You can't say I didn't warn you. Kosmic Kitty then leaves the locker room and finds Rated R waiting for her there. Rated R - Samantha, how nice to see you. Kosmic Kitty - I was talking to Tricia. I don't want trouble. Rated R - Funny you say that, because you always manage to end up in the middle of trouble. It follows you. He takes a step towards her, but Fixxxer steps in between them. Fixxxer - Is there a problem here? Rated R - *smiles* No, there isn't. This isn't my fight. Have a wonderful night Samantha. He blows her a kiss and walks away laughing
while we return to the ring. Ricky Simms - Well, the winner of this match gets a title shot at Sunstroke. Henry Lesher - It should be fun to watch a real match in this one. Degree stands Moose up, whips him into the corner buckle and then gives him a knee to the gut followed by a double underhook suplex to the mat. Degree then two handed chokes Moose while the referee threatens to disqualify the masked star for his tactics. Degree breaks the choke, stands Moose u and then places his throat over the top rope and again goes for the choke while the referee becomes more agitated. Again, Degree breaks the choke before the referee can DQ him. Degree then whips Moose off the ropes and Moose ducks a clothesline before he gives Degree a knee to the back and then gives him a hammerlock into a face first takedown to the mat into an STF. Degree quickly grabs the bottom rope to force the break and then rolls himself out to the floor. Ricky Simms - Moose can turn the tide that fast in a match. Henry Lesher - He is a solid wrestler for sure. There is no pushover in this match, which is odd for the CWA. Moose drops and rolls himself out to the floor after First Degree. They start trading punches on the floor. Moose then rams First's head into the ring apron before running him head first into the steel ring steps, drawing cheers from the nearby fans. Moose then stands First Degree up and goes for the whip into the opposite corner post, but Degree stops that and reverses it, sending Moose shoulder first into the post. Degree then rolls himself into the ring to break up the count before he rolls himself back out. He then picks Moose up and slams him to the floor. Degree then climbs onto the ring apron and then leaps off, landing a knee drop to the forehead on Moose while the fans start a chant for the downed legend. Ricky Simms - First Degree is in full control here. Henry Lesher - Hey, he is the real deal. He could be our next champion. Fist Degree stands Moose up and rolls him into the ring before doing the same himself. He then goes for the pin. 1...2... Moose rolls a shoulder out in time. Degree then stands Moose up, whips him off the ropes and then clotheslines him back down to the mat. Degree then goes to the ropes and makes his way to the top. Moose slowly gets to his feet and Degree goes for a flying body press. Moose catches him out of mid air and slams him to the mat instead. Both men then lie on their backs inside the ring, short of breath. Moose starts getting to his feet first before the referee has a chance to start counting them down. Moose then eye gouges Degree, stands him up and whips him into the corner buckle. Moose then picks Degree up and drops him on the top turnbuckle, his face striking the padded metal before he crumples in a heap. Moose then goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Degree. Ricky Simms - I really thought Moose had him there. Henry Lesher - Showing how smart you aren't. Moose stands Degree up, whips him off the ropes and then misses with a clothesline when Degree ducks it before he then gives Moose a backslide into a pin attempt. 1...2... kick out by Moose. Degree and Moose then get to their feet and start trading rights and lefts. Moose eye gouges Degree, but Degree knees Moose in the gut, picks him up and gives him a tilt a whirl backbreaker. Degree then goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Moose. Degree then stands Moose up, whips him into the corner and goes for a shoulder block, but Moose side steps that and rolls Degree into a school boy. 1...2... kick out by Degree who reverses it and hooks the tights out of the referee's view. 1...2...3! First Degree gets the win and secures a spot in the main event. Ricky Simms - Upset there by First Degree. Henry Lesher - Hey, he earned that. Degree exits the ring with Moose close behind.
Moose claims Degree hooked the tights and then they start trading
punches there while the fans cheer. Security then comes down to
break the two men up while we head backstage. Max Cameron - As we head into Sunstroke, it is important to me that we secure the very best talent in the wrestling world. I am proud to announce that Roxy will be making her debut in two weeks. Liam McClane will be doing the same. I have also been in talks with "Primetime" Jake Masterson, a man who has a high asking price. Despite concerns that management has about costs, I believe you pay what a wrestler is worth and that ratings come from having the best people on the roster. Shannon Skanes enters the picture, shaking his head. Shannon Skanes - You're bringing in expensive stars? Max Cameron - Do you want the best or not? Shannon Skanes - I don't want to be broke. Max Cameron - How many members of your family are you going to shove down the fans throats just to save money? This is not what makes a great company. Shannon Skanes - You know damned well why I brought you in. Max Cameron - Yeah, I do. I have an axe to grind with people like Ryan and Moose, but I also have a job to do. If you wanted someone who wouldn't do their job, you should have left Wyatt in charge. Shannon exits the shot and we head back to the
ring for further action. Ricky Simms - Lucy is determined to get to the top after a shocking win over Wren at the last Assault. Henry Lesher - This girl might be the real deal. This match will help me decide. Vesuviu starts talking to Lucy about paying him respect and points a finger at her. She slaps his hand away, kicks him in the gut and goes for a Stunner, but he shoves her into the corner again. He then gives her a German suplex to the mat, stands her up and whips her through the ropes and out to the floor. Vesuvius then heads out after her. He grabs her by the hair, but she gives him a jawbreaker and then slams his head into the guard railing before she rolls herself into the ring while the fans cheer. Vesuvius shakes off the effects of her attack and then pulls himself onto the ring apron. He steps over the top rope into the ring and again starts in on Lucy about respect. She then dropkicks him in the chest and sends him through the ropes and back out to the floor. Ricky Simms - Vesuvius had better stop with lecturing and start fighting. Henry Lesher - I never agree with you, but I do here. Vesuvius gets to his feet on the floor and shakes his head before he pulls himself onto the ring apron. Lucy goes for a kick on Vesuvius, but he reaches into the ring and shoves her to the mat instead. He steps through the ropes and then starts putting the boots to Lucy. He then picks her up and slams her to the mat and then gives her a knee drop to the chest before he sits her up and applies a sleeper hold. He shouts at her that it didn't have to be like this and he can help her. When asked for a submission by the referee, Lucy refuses to give up even as she appears to be fading in the hold. She then reaches for the ropes while the fans start a chant for the relative newcomer. Vesuvius shouts at the fans not to encourage her even while she continues reaching out. Lucy then reaches back and eye gouges Vesuvius before she reaches out again and manages to grab the bottom rope to force the break. Vesuvius releases the hold and Lucy scrambles out to the floor. Ricky Simms - Lucy needs to get herself back into this. Henry Lesher - This rise to the top is getting grounded here. She paces on the floor and Vesuvius heads out after her. She runs around the ring, ducks a clothesline attempt by Athena and then rolls herself back into the ring. Vesuvius jumps onto the ring apron, steps through the ropes and right into Daydream's Over before she goes for the pin. 1...2...3! Lucy Johnson scores the win over Vesuvius! She rolls herself out to the floor and the crowd cheers her on while she makes her way up the ramp. We then see Wren SilverPhoenix on the big screen which hangs above the stage. Wren SilverPhoenix - Lucy, that was impressive. That move won't get you my title, though. You see, I need to face someone worthy of my time at Sunstroke and it might as well be you. The Rocky Mountain title will be decided when you and I climb the mountain... in a ladder match. Lucy nods while Wren's image fades form the screen and the crowd cheers their approval. Ricky Simms - Lucy will get her chance at Sunstroke to prove herself against Wren in a ladder match! Henry Lesher - I know. I just heard that.
Everyone did. The fans aren't that stupid. Neriah Sweet - I understand you have an announcement to make for Sunstroke. Lydia Parizi - It's know that the event will be dubbed the seven circles of hell. I will be involved in one of those circles, one which will push the limits of what the CWA can an will do. Neriah Sweet - Do you have anything to say that could add some light to this? Lydia Parizi - There are women in this company who want to fight. There are women in this company who believe they are pretty and should be seen as being pretty. Neriah Sweet - Which of the two are you? Lydia Parizi - I consider myself to be both. At Sunstroke, there will be a chamber set in place which will celebrate both sides of this argument. Neriah Sweet - The type of chamber we saw not long ago then. Lydia Parizi - It will be a ramped up version of that, Neriah. In fact, you're invited. Neriah Sweet - Well, I could... Lydia Parizi - It is best for CWA investors that Sunstroke is a major money maker, so I will do what I can to ensure that investors are paid handsomely. Neriah Sweet - Meaning your father. Lydia Parizi - Tony Parizi is always watching what happens here. It's in his vested interest to make sure everything goes the way it is supposed to. You may even see him at Sunstroke. Lydia exits and we return to the ring. Rated R - Tricia, this will be painful for you. It was going to be the main event, but I convinced Max Cameron to avoid having the image of you bloodied and ruined as the final image on the show for tonight. I also made certain no one will save you. I left a present for Shannon and Kathy in the parking lot. The screen hanging over the stage shows Cass Smith in the parking lot, lying on the ground out cold. Behind him Shannon's car is on fire. We hear sirens in the distance and the crowd boos as that image turns to static. Rated R - Looks like Cass was attacked. He likely decided to get in the face of someone and threaten them. That's a mistake. Shannon's car is not fireproof. It's a good thing he wasn't in the car at the time or he could have been harmed. Now, it's just you and me. There is no one who cares enough to save you, Tricia and no one will stand in my way. Vesuvius himself won't be a problem. Athena, you might want to check on him in the locker room. He may have slipped in the shower. Athena rushes up the ramp and past a smirking Rated R who then makes his way down the ramp to ringside. He glares at the three girls at ringside, but he doesn't take a step towards them. Instead, he pulls himself onto the ring apron and smiles at a retreating Tricia. He steps through the ropes into the ring and a reluctant referee calls for the bell. Tricia then charges at Rated R only to have him kick her in the face and send her down to the mat in a heap. Ricky Simms - Ryan Yorke is a heartless bastard. Henry Lesher - This is Shannon's fault. This is what he gets for allowing this match to happen. He forced Ryan into this position and he's doing what he has to do. Ricky Simms - He doesn't have to do any of this. He's spineless. Rated R grabs Tricia by the hair and pulls her to her feet. He then eye gouges her before placing her throat over the middle rope and he chokes her with it. He releases the choke and clotheslines her back to the mat. He then drops and rolls himself out where he targets Tricia's friends. They back off and only the one who has been dubbed Hestia according to her jacket steps forward and tells Rated R that he's a bully. Rated R shakes his head and then kicks her in the gut before tossing her over the railing and into the crowd. Rated R then chases the other two off as they retreat up the ramp. He then rolls himself back into the ring with Tricia. Ricky Simms - This is wrong. Henry Lesher - Tricia signed the contract, Rick. She made this happen. Rated R stands Tricia up and takes a kick to the gut from her. She then whips him into the corner before she then backdrops him to the middle of the ring and then she lands an elbow smash to the chest on Ryan before she hooks the leg for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Rated R. Tricia then lands punches to the side of the head on Rated R while the fans cheer. The cheering stops when Rated R kicks her through the ropes and out to the floor. Rated R then slips out to the floor with her. He picks her up and runs her head first into the steel corner post. He then rolls her into the ring and we see she's been cut open over her right eye. Ricky Simms - Casey Braun needs to stop this. Henry Lesher - Why? No one cares when Ryan's bleeding. Rated R slips into the ring and starts landing rights and lefts to the head on Tricia. She rolls face down to protect herself and Rated R then steps on the back of her neck while the referee shouts at him to stop. Rated R steps off of Tricia and then places her throat over the bottom rope again. Blood trickles down the cheek of Tricia Smith and onto the mat below. Rated R releases the choke, stands Tricia up and whips her off the ropes before giving her a shoulder block to the mat. He stands over her as we see Scavenger rushing to the ring, chair in hand. Scavenger slips into the ring and Rated R sees him coming. He ducks the chair shot and rolls out of the ring before Scavenger can make contact while the referee finally calls for the bell. Ricky Simms - Scavenger comes out to make the save, but it seems to be a little late. Henry Lesher - Well, Ryan said she would be a bloody heap on the mat and there she is. The crowd cheers as Freak, Himself then rushes down the ramp. He pauses and looks Rated R up and down. Scavenger slips out of the ring and heads up after Ryan only to take a low blow from Freak. Freak then grabs the chair from Scavenger and wails on him with it while a confused crowd boos. Freak then points a finger at Rated R while Ryan retreats to the stage and into the back. Freak then tells Scavenger that this was all his fault before dropping the chair and heading up the ramp himself. Ricky Simms - Freak's a brick short of a load here, attacking Scavenger? Why? Henry Lesher - Why not? I'd do it. Maybe Freak is helping Ryan. Ricky Simms - I can't see that. Why would Freak
be involved in this? Max Cameron - What the hell happened? Shannon Skanes - Ryan Yorke is fired. Max Cameron - Can't fire him. He has a contract. Did anyone see what happened? Kathy Smith - Cass did. Cass Smith - *as he comes to* I didn't see... anything. Hit from behind... Shannon Skanes - He said you threatened him. Cass Smith - I got out of my car... and got hit. Didn't see anything. Kathy Smith - Next show, he pays the price for this. Max Cameron - If no one saw him... Shannon Skanes - Dammit Max! You heard her! Max Cameron - But no one saw it... Kathy Smith - Next Assault, he'll see what happens when someone messes with my family. Max Cameron - I doubt that worries him. It's what he wants. Shannon and Kathy exchange a worried look while
we return to the ring for tonight's main event. Ricky Simms - The main event is here. If Legendary can win this, he gets into the main event at Sunstroke. Henry Lesher - The odds are stacked against him with the champ in his way, though. Legendary picks Bullrush up and dumps him over the top rope and out to the floor. He then drops and rolls himself out to the floor where he grabs an audio cable and wraps it around the throat of the champ. The referee exits the ring and threatens to disqualify Legendary. Legendary releases the choke, then rolls Bullrush into the ring before he does the same himself. Legendary then stands Bullrush up, whips him off the ropes and misses a clothesline when Bullrush ducks it. Bullrush then kicks Legendary in the gut before giving him a pump handle slam to the mat. Bullrush then knee drops Legendary to the forehead before pulling him to the middle of the ring and applying a Boston Crab. The referee checks for a submission, but the challenger is unwilling to give up. Ricky Simms - Bullrush is looking to wear the man down. Henry Lesher - He's a smart fighter. This won't be easy for either of them. Legendary pulls himself towards the ropes while Bullrush tries to hold him away from them. Legendary then reaches out and manages to snag the bottom rope to force the break. Bullrush reluctantly lets go and Legendary pulls himself to his feet with the aid of the ropes. He moves in and locks up with Bullrush. Bullrush then whips Legendary off the ropes and backdrops him to the mat. Bullrush then goes for an elbow smash, but Legendary rolls himself out of the way and then quickly gets back to his feet. He knee lifts Bullrush in the face and then gives him a bulldog to the mat before rolling him over for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Bullrush. Ricky Simms - He was so close to getting into that main event. Henry Lesher - Hey, he will get there is my guess. He just looks confident in there. Effing stands Bullrush up, whips him into the corner buckle and then goes for a shoulder block. Bullrush side steps that and shoves Effing into the corner shoulder first before shoving him down to the mat. Bullrush then takes to the ropes and makes his way to the top. Legendary gets to his feet and Bullrush goes for a flying body press. Instead, Legendary gives Bullrush a punch to the breadbasket on the way down and then gives him a roundhouse kick to the chest that sends him down to the mat before he goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Bullrush. Legendary then stands Bullrush up and whips him into the corner buckle. Instead of a shoulder block, this time Legendary moves in slowly and kicks Bullrush in the gut. Bullrush answers with an eye gouge and then gives Legendary a drop toe hold face first into the corner buckle. Bullrush then picks Effing up and gives him a shoulderbreaker before going for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Effing. Ricky Simms - Insane action in this one, close calls both ways. Henry Lesher - Sounds like a party at Tommy Purr's house. Bullrush stands Effing up and whips him into the corner and then gives him a hip toss back to the center of the ring. We then see Dorian Devilyn step out onto the stage and start making his way down the ramp. Bullrush sees him coming down and tells the referee to get him out of there. The referee has words for Devilyn who protests that he hasn't done anything wrong. Legendary then pulls something from his tights and throws it into the eyes of Bullrush. Bullrush falls to the mat clutching at his eyes. Effing then picks Bullrush up into the Osaka Street Cutter and the referee turns his attention back to the match while Dorian retreats up the ramp. The referee then calls for the bell and Legendary is the winner. Ricky Simms - Well, a little distraction was all it took and Bullrush will face Legendary Holmes again in a month, along with First Degree in what is shaping up to be a very violent Sunstroke main event. Henry Lesher - It's a sanitarium match. That means that everything is legal, so he can throw salt in everyone's eyes and walk out the champ. Holmes is a legend in the CWA now, too, in my eyes. Effing rolls himself out to the floor, grabs the World Title belt and tells the camera it will be his at Sunstroke. He then tosses it over the top rope into the ring and then retreats up the ramp with his arms raised while we then fade to black on another week from Assault. |
