Shannon Skanes - Well, here we are ready to see another episode of Assault, but this is a set up for a very special week next week. You see, I am going to be celebrating a birthday in a week and a half and so next week's Assault will be the Shannon's Birthday Spectacular. I will make the matches and I will make the night special. Max Cameron - The main event will feature Max Cameron against Jack Spade for the CWA Title. Shannon Skanes - *sighs* Well, no Max, we have been over this. Your title shot will come when it's the right time. This is not the right time. Max Cameron - Sorry, boss. Shannon and Max walk off
while we hear "Climb That Hill" by Tom Petty while we see images of
Moose, Max Cameron, Vigilante, Pyro, Q, Sal Clemenzo, Myst, Freak,
Rated R, Emma McIntyre, Michelle McAllister, Slim Pickens, Doomsday,
Rose Lemieux, and Jack Spade before we head to ringside where Ricky
Simms and Henry Lesher are once again set to call tonight's action. Ricky Simms - Well, that attitude won't endear him to the fans. Henry Lesher - I don't think he cares, Rick. Chaney pulls himself up onto the ring apron and then steps through the ropes into the ring. The referee calls for the bell and Chaney moves in to lock up with Rose. Instead, he knees her in the ribs and then gives her a tilt a whirl backbreaker before going for the quick pin. 1...2... kick out by Rose Lemieux. Chaney then pulls her to her feet by the hair, pulls her into a corner buckle and then whips her into the opposite corner where he goes for a shoulder block. Instead, Rose side steps that and then she gives Devon a series of double axe handle smashes to the back. Rose then clotheslines Devon to the mat and gives him a knee drop to the forehead before hooking the leg for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Chaney. Ricky Simms - She looks to be in better shape this week than last. Henry Lesher - That's not saying much since she had the strength of a corpse last week. Rose stands Chaney up, whips him off the ropes and then gives him a dropkick to the chest which sends him back down to the mat. Rose then goes to the corner buckle and jumps to the top rope. She goes for a moonsault onto her opponent, but lands on Devon's knees instead and she takes them to the ribs. She cries out in pain and hits the mat clutching at her ribs. Devon then gets to his feet and starts putting the boots to her. Devon stands Rose up, whips her off the ropes and then backdrops her to the mat. He then lands an elbow smash to the chest on Rose and goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Rose Lemieux. Ricky Simms - She has a lot of fight in her this week. Henry Lesher - This guy likely isn't used to an inept opponent like this. He's going to wake up and crush her soon. Devon stands Rose up, whips her off the ropes and she ducks a clothesline before giving him an inverted neckbreaker to the mat which draws loud cheers from the crowd. She then gets to her feet while trying to catch her breath. She pulls Chaney to his feet, whips him off the ropes and then gives him a lariat which staggers him, but does not bring him down. Instead, he leg drops Rose to the back before she has a chance to get up. Chaney then stands over her with a smirk on his face. Rose gets to her hands and knee and he then tells the camera lights are going out before he gives Rose the Trendsetter. He rolls her over for the pin and counts with his fingers as the referee's arm strikes the mat. 1...2...3! Devon Chaney wins his debut match in the CWA. Ricky Simms - Well, Rose was game tonight, but she was bested by Chaney. Henry Lesher - She has never met a wrestler she can't get beaten by. Chaney exits the ring and
starts to make his way up the ramp while his music plays again and
the crowd settles on not liking him. He tells the camera this is
just the beginning and that things are going to change in the CWA
very soon. Kenneth Hill - Hey, it must be washed up wrestler night. Blair Drake - Well, look what the cat dragged in. James Hill - What the hell are you doing here? Blair Drake - Actually I was waiting for you two douchebags. See, Shannon has a big surprise for you guys and I wanted to let you know your new belts are not safe. Kenneth Hill - Samson recruiting you too? Blair Drake - No, I can't stand that guy. If you think he the only original gunning for a piece of that gold, you're delusional. James Hill - Hear that? They're sending all of the washed up nobodies after us now. Kenneth Hill - Scares me to death. Now I won't sleep tonight. Blair Drake - Keep that sense of humor going. You're going to need it. You're in for a very rough night one week from now. Blair heads off and we
return to the ring for the next match. Ricky Simms - What did he say to you? Henry Lesher - He said he retires. Ricky Simms - No he didn't. Pyro smiles at the referee inside the ring and talks to her while his music fades and then we hear "Motherfucker of the Year" by Motley Crue and Shannon Skanes comes out with Max Cameron at his side. Max is still wearing a suit, now also wearing sunglasses, and he makes his way down the ramp to ringside while looking around as if the owner might get attacked or perhaps assassinated. Max then takes a place at ringside while Shannon makes his way up the ring steps onto the apron. Ricky Simms - Does Max have an earpiece in? Henry Lesher - Secret service standard, Rick. Ricky Simms - What the hell for? Shannon says a few things to Pyro before he enters the ring. The referee calls for the bell and Shannon leans against the ropes while saying he wasn't ready yet. Pyro loses his patience and heads over to Shannon only to take a thumb to the eye from the CWA owner. Shannon then gives Pyro a series of knife edge chops to the chest which back him across the ring. He then snap mares Pyro to the mat and places him in a nerve hold, hands on the shoulders of Pyro and squeezing as hard as he can while telling him to give up. The referee checks for a submission, but Pyro answers by getting to his feet and giving Shannon an elbow to the gut and then giving him an eye gouge followed by a head butt that sends Shannon into the corner buckle. Pyro then whips Shannon to the opposite corner and then gives him a backdrop to the mat in the middle of the ring. Ricky Simms - Pyro is in charge of the match right now. Henry Lesher - Your hero really isn't your hero now, is he? You switch your loyalties so quickly. This is what happens when you exile Ryan Yorke. Shannon gets out of control. Pyro stands Shannon up, whips him into the corner buckle and then gives him a running shoulder block. He then sits Shannon on the top rope and sets for a superplex. He goes to the top rope and lands a series of punches to the head on Shannon. He then takes a punch to the gut from Shannon who then shoves Pyro down off the ropes to the mat. Shannon then climbs the ropes in the corner and waits for Pyro to stand. Shannon goes for a flying cross body, but Pyro ducks it and Shannon hits the mat instead. Pyro then stands Shannon up and whips him through the ropes to the floor. He then heads out after the CWA owner only to find himself face to face with Max Cameron. Ricky Simms - Old friends reunited here. Henry Lesher - It's a real meeting of the suck there, isn't it Rick? Shannon gets to his feet while Max and Pyro argue at ringside. This allows Shannon to gives Pyro a clothesline to the back of the neck which sends him face down to the floor. Shannon then stands Pyro up and whips him shoulder first into the steel ring steps. Shannon then stands Pyro up and rolls him into the ring before rolling himself into the ring where he goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Pyro. Shannon then stands over Pyro, boot chokes him and uses the top rope for added leverage. He breaks the choke before the referee reaches a five count and then stands Pyro up, whips him off the ropes and gives him a knee to the gut which doubles him over. Shannon then picks him up for a power bomb, but Pyro manages to turn that into a somersault and he lands on his feet before eye gouging Shannon. Pyro then gives Shannon a short arm clothesline to the mat and then goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Shannon. Ricky Simms - Well, the boss is a tough man as shown two weeks ago. Henry Lesher - And I am sure he is still feeling the ill effects from that match or he would have won this one by now. Pyro stands Shannon up, whips him off the ropes and then both wrestlers clothesline each other to the mat. Max Cameron then pulls himself onto the ring apron. He calls out to the referee as we see Emma McIntyre making her way down the ramp quickly. She pulls Max off of the ring apron which allows the referee to turn his attention back to Shannon. Shannon has put brass knuckles on his hand and tries to plead his case only to have the referee call for the bell and Pyro wins by DQ. Pyro gets to his feet and ducks a right hook with the knuckles from the boss before whipping him through the ropes and out to the floor. He sees Emma brawling with max at ringside and grabs the microphone from ring announcer Jen Hawkins. Shannon Skanes - You can't do this so close to my birthday Emma! No! No! That's it! Next week, Emma McIntyre will tag with Pyro here against myself and Max Cameron. The wrestler who gets the winning pinfall or submission will then get a shot at a title OR get to join Max and I in what will be the most powerful group ever assembled in CWA history. Security! Get her out of here! She's done for the night! Security team members climb over the guard railing and pull Emma McIntyre away from Max Cameron. She has one of his suit jacket sleeves in her hand and she throws it at him while she is dragged away. She tells Shannon he's making a big mistake. Ricky Simms - Shannon's ego is really out of control these days. Where the hell did that come from? Henry Lesher - Rated R
kept that in check. I keep trying to tell you that. Ryan was right
all along. Kenneth Hill - Yeah, more washed up nobodies. Night Dweller - Dark Forces have ruled the CWA before. James Hill - Was that before or after the dinosaurs died out? Black Panther - Funny. Kenneth Hill - Trick question since you're both dinosaurs anyway. Night Dweller - The CWA Originals are sick to death of people coming in here and taking the tag belts for granted. James Hill - We don't take them for granted. We have them. Go beat up Pyro or Slim or something. Black Panther - Next week, you're going to get a history lesson. Kenneth Hill - In failure? Night Dweller - I wonder how smart you two are going to sound after we destroy you. Kenneth and James look at one another. James Hill - I think we'll be fine. Kenneth Hill - After we destroy them, yeah. *stands nose to nose with Night Dweller* Bring all your dinosaurs out then. We can play Jurassic Park with your geriatric asses. The tag champs make their
exit with the belts over their shoulders while we head back to the
ring. Ricky Simms - They have been seeing a lot of wrestlers backstage threatening their standing as tag champs tonight, so they have to be wary of an already bad set up here. Henry Lesher - Well, it's true. The Originals backstage have been really quite obvious. Kenneth finally enters the ring while James takes his turn in the corner. The referee calls for the bell and Kenneth locks up with Alex. The two struggle for the advantage in the match and then Kenneth shoves Alex into a neutral corner before giving him a knee to the gut. He then rakes Alex's eyes along the top rope while bringing him to the tag champions' corner. He tags in James. James steps into the ring and then they set for a double vertical suplex on Cortez. Samson charges into the ring with Delilah and they attack The Hills. They start kicking at the champs while the referee tries to restore order to the proceedings. Ricky Simms - This one has broken down quite fast. Henry Lesher - This is what they wanted. They are going to wear the champs down. The Hills start to fight their way through the three combatants and Kenneth smashes Samson and Alex's head together before James then clotheslines Delilah to the mat. Thirteen tries entering the ring only to take a clothesline from James as well. All four members of Perfection then roll out of the ring to the floor and try to regroup while the fans cheer. Samson pulls himself onto the ring apron first and the referee reminds him that he isn't the legal man in this match. Samson argues with the referee from the apron while the fans boo. James Hill loses his patience and charges at Samson, knocking him off of the ring apron with a forearm smash to the jaw. James then steps back while Alex tries to sweep his feet out from under him. James retreats to the middle of the ring and Alex slides back into the ring before quickly getting to his feet. Ricky Simms - This match will be a challenge to call. Henry Lesher - That's why they have a man calling this one instead of one of those stupid women. Alex moves in to lock up with James and catches him with a punch to the side o the head, then headlocks him and pulls him to his corner where he quickly tags in Samson. Samson and Alex then put the boots to James while Delilah holds him in the corner. The referee counts towards a possible disqualification, so Delilah releases James and then Samson pulls him from their corner before giving him a snap suplex to the mat. He then stands James up and gives him a gutwrench suplex to the mat. Samson then goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by James Hill. Samson then stands James up, whips him off the ropes and James ducks a clothesline before rolling Samson into a school boy. 1...2... kick out by Samson. James then rolls to his corner and tags in a fresh Kenneth. Samson gets to his feet and starts trading punches with Kenneth. Kenneth backs Samson into the ropes and Delilah makes a blind tag in with a slap to the back of the shoulder on Samson. Kenneth clotheslines Samson over the top rope to the floor and then gives Delilah a superkick to the jaw while his back is turned. He watches her fall to the mat and then gives Alex a punch to the throat before going for the pin on Delilah. 1...2...3! Southern Comfort wins the match! Ricky Simms - Impressive win again for the tag champs. Henry Lesher - I am sensing the girl is the weakest link tonight. As the tag champs are handed their belts, "Mother" by Danzig plays and Night Dweller steps out onto the stage with Black Panther at his side. The crowd gives them a mixed reception. Moments later, their music stops and we hear "Bonecracker" by Shocore and Blair Drake steps onto the stage with Olivia Maine and Steve Hawkins. They get a solid pop from the crowd. Their music then cuts out and we hear "Coming Up From Behind" and Danny Dixon and Jimmy Jack make their way onto the stage. Ricky Simms - Holy crap, that's Dark Forces, Team SOB and Chemical Imbalance! Henry Lesher - The tag team equals to the Job Squad. Instead of making an
attack of any sort, the three tag teams stare at the champs inside
the ring while the champs shrug and stare back. They seem baffled by
what any of this means while we then head backstage. Myst - Weren't you fired again? Wyatt Gibson - I have nine lives. Listen, you're not in action tonight. Myst - Pardon me? Wyatt Gibson - Jack Spade has been suspended. Myst - For what? Wyatt Gibson - His disrespecting of the title at Warriors was deemed worthy of a one week suspension. Myst - By who? Wyatt Gibson - Shannon. Myst - You have got to be kidding me. So what do I do tonight then? Wyatt Gibson - Well, I have a new secretary and she's been a little temperamental. Can you help me deal with her? Myst - No, that's not my job. Myst storms off while Wyatt returns to his office. He opens the door, but the camera is on the wrong angle to film inside.
Wyatt Gibson - Corina, you can't be trashing the papers like that.
Mt sister will be furious if she sees this mess. Ricky Simms - Michelle claimed this week that she was unwilling to hurt Slim and that she would beat him without laying a finger on him. Henry Lesher - I wouldn't want to touch him if I could avoid it either. Slim steps through the ropes into the ring and the referee calls for the bell. Michelle stands in a corner buckle and signals for a timeout. Slim rushes at her, anxious to get the match started. Michelle ducks out through the ropes and stands on the ring apron. She tells the referee that she can't fight him until he clears a medical check. Slim has some unkind words for Michelle and she informs Slim she is only worried about his health. She drops off the ring apron and then starts walking up the ramp while the fans boo her loudly. Various chants regarding Michelle's courage or lack of it emanate from the crowd. Ricky Simms - I guess she was serious. Henry Lesher - Well, she is right. What good does it do her to hurt Slim here and then have people get mad at her for beating up an old man? It is a no win situation for her. Michelle stops on her way up the ramp as Slim exits the ring. He heads after her and Michelle starts to flat out jog away from Slim while shouting at him that he's too slow to catch her. Slim does chase her up the ramp to the stage and Michelle then dives off the stage into some audio cables on the floor below. She gets to her feet and starts back for the ring as Slim dives off the stage as well. She then jogs back to the ring and slips under the bottom rope into the ring. On his way back to the ring, a cameraman gets into Slim's way and the two collide. Slim goes to the floor and the crowd boos loudly while the referee is shouted at by Michelle. Ricky Simms - That cameraman isn't one of ours. Henry Lesher - How the hell do you know? Michelle stands in the middle of the ring while Slim and the cameraman get to their feet on the floor. The cameraman has words with Slim and Slim shoves him. The camera filming this then moves around to show the face of the cameraman and it's none other than Jakob Kore. Ricky Simms - I am sensing a payoff. Henry Lesher - I just see a kid trying to get work and Slim ran him over. If anything, Jakob can sue Slim over this. The referee reluctantly reaches a ten count and calls for the bell. Michelle laughs in the middle of the ring as she is announced the winner of the match via count out. She then motions to Jen Hawkins and the microphone is tossed into the ring. Michelle McAllister - I proved myself tonight to you Slim. I beat you without laying a finger on you. I deprived these fans of seeing you get pinned, and of seeing me fight tonight. I outsmarted you, Slim. I am clearly the frontrunner to become the next CWA champion. You have the gold to claim contention, but you don't have the brains. Slim charges through Jakob Kore, mowing him down and heading straight into the ring. Michelle bids a hasty retreat as Slim continues his pursuit of her. She heads out through the crowd with Slim close behind and screaming at her that this isn't over. The fans cheer on Slim while the pursuit continues, but then we hear "Motherfucker of the Year" by Motley Crue again and the fans boo as Shannon Skanes steps onto the stage with Max Cameron. Shannon Skanes - Oh stop with the booing. It's going to be my birthday and I am going to give you insects what you want. Max Cameron - You can at least pay the boss some respect. Shannon Skanes - Thanks Max. Max Cameron - You're welcome, boss. Shannon Skanes - Next week I want to enjoy the damned show. I want to have as much fun watching it as Michelle McAllister just did in soundly defeating Slim Pickens. This is my company so I get what I want. That's why Jack Spade isn'ty here tonight to kiss up to you worthless fans. Max Cameron - Don't boo the man for being right. Shannon Skanes - Next week, I want the spotlight to be on the people who want to work. Look at that Devon Chaney guy tonight. That's the kind of star we can build the CWA around. Next week, we will have the first ever Max Cameron Memorial battle royal. Max Cameron - I'm not dead. Shannon Skanes - It's not a literal memorial, Max. Chill out. The battle royal will award twenty-five thousand dollars to the winner and it's open to anyone. The winner also gets a title shot for the Rocky Mountain belt that Slim's been carrying around. Max Cameron - What if Slim wins? He enters every match like this. Shannon Skanes - If Slim wins, he can have a shot at Jack Spade at the time of my choosing. Now, we will also have a tag team gauntlet match where these Southern Comfort guys can try to prove themselves against Perfection, Chemical Imbalance, Team SOB and Dark Forces. Now, we know Max and I get to tag against Pyro and Emma and that seems a little like a slaughter. I hope the opportunity to join us inspires them to raise their game a little. Max Cameron - They still can't beat us, boss. Shannon Skanes - There will also be an open challenge next week of a different sort. If fact, there will be two. One will be the friends versus foes match. My friends face my foes. You can take whatever side you want. The winners either get the right to hang out with me for a day or, in the unlikely case the outnumbered foes win, they get to pick a member of their team to fight me the week after on Assault. It won't happen though. People have always loved me. People will always love me. I am... Shannon's words are cut off as Slim Pickens charges into the ring and tackles him down. Slim starts landing punches to the head on Shannon while Max pauses, stunned. Michelle slips into the ring and tackles Max to the mat, screaming at him that he's incompetent. Security then rushes into the ring to try and split everyone up. Ricky Simms - I guess Slim and Michelle's jog brought them back to the ring. Henry Lesher - Well, I usually like Max getting beaten up, but I think it would have been better if everyone just beat up Slim instead. We fade to black on an image of Slim being dragged from the ring and Michelle slamming Max's head into the mat. |
