Neriah Sweet - Tomorrow is a big day. Shannon Skanes - The re-launch is something big for sure. Neriah Sweet - There was a lot of talk over the past few weeks about the split and the men lost to ESW. Gary Barber, JC Michaels, Greyson Blaze, Malk, Tommy Purr, and Cory Chevelle are all pretty big names as are Hoshi Yakamoto, Bishop Spade, and Bombshell among the divas. Shannon Skanes - Yeah, but they picked up some new names and we are getting some new blood in as well. Kirsta Lewis has signed on for the CWA and Rated R, Halloween Jack, AJ Cameron and Myst have all returned to active duty. Troy Jacobs and Romeo Delight are returning stars looking to get their careers back on track, so it's rounding out into a pretty decent roster here. Without the split, it's unlikely things would be this dynamic. Neriah Sweet - Do you have anything to say about the past two months? Shannon Skanes - Contracts were out of control and I have had to make cutbacks. We are also bringing back the sponsored title belts. In fact... I found one old sponsor was very willing to pay big bucks to pair up with us again. Red Bull was going to sponsor us, but we are going in another direction there. There is nothing going on that we cannot rise above. Neriah Sweet - Predictions for the rest of 2010? Shannon Skanes - Outrage takes place next month. We will crown a champion there. I have plans to make it a truly huge event. I want every major player here to have a shot at the grand prize. Neriah Sweet - Uh, are they setting up a human catapult? Shannon Skanes - Yeah, we are going to launch Shengee into that net over there. Neriah Sweet - What net?
Shannon Skanes - It's.... well, I'm sure they'll have it in place
tomorrow for the CWA Olympics which are all part of the big meet and
greet. It's an exciting time for the CWA. We then fade out from that
scene and there is a moment of silence before we hear a loud cannon
blast and then an explosion. We then hear "Ænema" by Tool and
we see images of Myst, AJ Cameron, Rated R, Kirsta Lewis, Scavenger,
Dante, Troy Jacobs, Jack Spade, The Moose and Romeo Delight before
we fade to an image from the day's meet and greet with CWA fans.
Ricky Simms is in the middle of the shuffling fans at the Agrodome's
parking lot. We then see static for a moment before we then see Ricky in the Agrodome stands. CWA wrestlers are on the ice playing hockey. Ricky simply shakes his head. Ricky Simms - Well, the Canadian CWA wrestlers are against everyone else. The score might be closer, but Generic Wrestler is in net and can't stop arguing with her glove hand. Even Scavenger appears to be worried about her and Moose has been sitting on the bench here with his head in his hands for about twenty minutes. Troy Jacobs scored on a nice feed from Romeo Delight against Jack Spade in the Canadian net. Spade then charged out of the net and tackled Jacobs which led to him being ejected from the game. The score is 12-4 right now with Canada in the lead, despite the fact the Canadians do not have a goalie. AJ argued that the puck is too small and this is a plan by Shannon Skanes to belittle foreign talent. When Myst reminded AJ they are playing with the same puck, a brawl ensued. Dante jerseyed Rose Lemieux in that fight which caused a lot of fanboys in the crowd here to use up all of the memory on their digital cameras quickly. Again, we see static for a few moments and then we see Ricky standing next to a dunk tank with Frank Merritt in it. Frank appears to be bone dry and his arms are folded across his chest while patrons pass by his booth quickly. Ricky Simms - I am not sure what kind of Olympic anything this is. Frank has been threatening anyone who tries this out. He asked one little kid if he wanted to know what his daddy would look like with his skin inside out and said dunking him would make it a reality. Security tried to get Frank out of there, but that ended badly as well.... Let's move on. Ricky walks from there to a half pipe that has been made in the parking lot, one which appears to be covered in snow. AJ is holding a snowboard there and Moose appears to be trying it out while Kaleigh Simms, Kosmic Kitty and Halloween Jack are judging the competition. Ricky Simms - AJ, you got a 3.4 on your last run. Moose here is on his last run and needs a 4 or better to clinch first. How do you feel this event has gone for the CWA players and fans? AJ Cameron - Everyone in this company is a douchebag, especially Moose. The scores are out of 20 and Halloween Jack has been giving out all zeroes. I am also pretty sure Myst has been shouting "choke" at the top of her lungs on every run I have made. I'm a wrestler, Rick. This is humiliating to me. I did hear, though, that the snow we got out here from the zamboni after our rigged hockey game ended is more than Cypress has for the opening of the Olympics next week. Ricky Simms - That can't be true. AJ Cameron - You calling me a liar, Rick? Ricky Simms - No, of course not. Moose reaches the bottom and the scores are displayed. Halloween Jack gives Moose a score of 10 and fingers AJ Cameron, which leads AJ to throw his board at Jack. Jack ducks it and Ricky simply walks away while we then fade to black. We then hear another cannon blast, an explosion and then we head to ringside where fans are cheering while Ricky Simms and Henry Lesher are now seated at ringside.
Gauntlet Match Ricky Simms - And we are back inside the ring again! Fans, this has been a great day for this company. Henry Lesher - You think making a joke out of everyone here is a great day? Well, I guess when you consider most of the supposed talent we have here... Jacobs and Spade lock up. Spade backs Jacobs into the ropes where the referee asks for a clean break. Spade takes a step back and then knees Jacobs in the gut, sending him through the ropes and out to the floor. Spade then rolls himself out to the floor and then starts trading punches with Jacobs there. Jacobs gives Spade an eye gouge and then whips him shoulder first into the steel guard railing. Jacobs then puts the boots to Spade. He then stands Jack up and rolls him into the ring before doing the same himself. Jacobs then picks Spade up and power slams him to the mat before hooking the leg for the pin attempt. 1...2... kick out by Jack Spade. Ricky Simms - Jacobs almost scored an upset there as Spade was close to being down for the three count. Henry Lesher - Almost and close, sounds like a good title for the Life Story of Max Cameron. Ricky Simms - Doc, Max isn't even here anymore. Henry Lesher - Yeah, he's so bad he can't even beat out these senior citizens like Jacobs and Delight for a spot here. Jacobs stands Spade up, whips him off the ropes and backdrops him to the mat. Jacobs then goes to the ropes and climbs to the second rope. Spade stands only to take a double axe handle smash to the chest from Jacobs which brings him back down to the mat and draws a cheer from the crowd. Jacobs then stands Spade up, whips him into the corner buckle and then goes for a shoulder block there only to take a raised knee to the chest from Spade who then gives Jacobs a series of knife edge chops which back him across the ring and into the opposite corner. Spade then rakes Troy's eyes along the top rope before he then whips him off the ropes and places him in a sleeper hold. The referee checks for a submission, but Jacobs refuses to give up. Ricky Simms - Jacobs is a fighter. Henry Lesher - Well, he thinks he's a fighter. Without his walker as a weapon, he isn't much. We see Frank Merritt coming down the ramp and the crowd boos him. He stops at ringside while Troy Jacobs reaches out for the ropes, finding them to be just out of reach. Jacobs then reaches back and eye gouges Spade before he then frees himself from the hold and then starts landing forearm smashes to the jaw on a surprised Jack Spade. The crowd cheers as Jacobs gives Spade a belly to belly suplex to the mat and then goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Jack Spade. Jacobs stands Spade up, whips him into the corner buckle and then gives him a hip toss to the middle of the ring. A smile crosses Jacobs' face as he senses he is getting into the groove here. Frank Merritt then jumps up onto the ring apron which draws the attention of the referee. While Steve Blake orders Frank off of the apron and away from the ring, we see AJ Cameron rolling himself into the ring and he spears Jacobs to the mat. He then picks Jacobs up and power slams him to the mat before he rolls himself out of the ring and Merritt relents. Ricky Simms - Why the hell would AJ do that? Henry Lesher - Because he's smarter than Max? Jack Spade quickly moves in and places Troy Jacobs in The Lasting Impression. A pained Jacobs reaches out for the ropes, but he is forced to tap out. The crowd boos as Spade's hand is raised. We then hear "My Girlfriend's Girlfriend" by Type O Negative and Scavenger comes out onto the stage to a loud ovation from the crowd. He stands on the stage with his wife Lauren and they both smile before Scavenger then rushes down the ramp and slips under the bottom rope into the ring. Spade greets him by putting the boots to him, but Scavenger quickly pulls the legs out from under Spade and then starts raining down punches to the head on him. Scavenger then stands Spade up, whips him into the corner buckle and then gives him a backdrop to the middle of the ring. Scavenger then stands Spade up and whips him off the ropes before giving him a big boot to the chest which brings him back down to the mat. Scavenger then stands in the corner and appears ready to deliver a spear on Spade. Ricky Simms - Wow, Scavenger is looking to make quick work of Spade here. Henry Lesher - Well, he is fresh and he has to take advantage of that before his ability to suck takes over. He does have a tremendous suckage ability. We then see Kirsta Lewis rushing down the ramp and Scavenger spots her there. He turns to her and says it isn't time for her to come out. Spade then rolls Scavenger up into a school boy and hooks the tights. 1...2...3! Scavenger is the one quickly eliminated in this match thanks to a distraction and Jack Spade's run continues! Ricky Simms - What the hell was that? Henry Lesher - The idiot being distracted by something shiny, Rick. Scavenger rolls himself out to the floor while Kirsta quickly enters the ring and she attacks Jack Spade with a series of kicks to the ribs. She then stands him up, whips him off the ropes and dropkicks him down to the mat. Outside the ring, Lauren tries to convince Scavenger to exit ringside, but he refuses. He instead takes his trusty chair and sits down on it next to the timekeeper. This is a rarity for him. Kirsta stands Jack Spade up, whips him off the ropes and then gives him a backdrop to the mat. Kirsta then gives him a leg drop to the throat and then goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Spade. Kirsta gives the referee a dirty look before standing Spade up, whipping him off the ropes and then Spade ducks a clothesline attempt and gives Kirsta an inverted neckbreaker to the mat. He then goes for the quick pin. 1...2... kick out by Kirsta Lewis. Ricky Simms - Kirsta is quite the addition to the CWA roster, a decorated wrestling champion and likely to continue her winning ways here. Henry Lesher - Well, if she's a winner, it explains why Scavenger doesn't get along with her. Spade stands Kirsta up, whips her into the corner buckle and then gives her a double under hook suplex to the middle of the ring. Spade then stands over her and shakes his head. He shouts down at her that no woman stands a chance against Jack Spade. She brings a foot up and catches him in the chin with it, which draws cheers from the crowd. She then kips up to her feet and then gives Spade a superkick to the chin which causes him to fall to the mat where she goes for the pin. 1...2... Spade gets a foot on the bottom rope. Scavenger at ringside is heard trying to get a Jack Spade chant started, but the fans boo him down instead. Kirsta stands Spade up and then turns and whips him through the ropes and onto Scavenger at ringside, bowling him over. Both Spade and Scavenger crash into the guard railing while Kirsta shrugs inside the ring. Ricky Simms -Whatever Scavenger wanted to accomplish out here at ringside, that wasn't it. Henry Lesher - That's because he is a loser. This isn't news, Rick. Spade gets to his feet on the floor slowly and turns to Scavenger and starts putting the boots to him. Spade grabs the trusty chair and readies to hit Scavenger with it. Lauren steps in between and tells Spade to put the chair down. Spade shrugs and drills Lauren over the head with the chair instead. The referee then shouts something to ring announcer Missy. Missy - The referee has disqualified Jack Spade from this match. Jack screams at ringside and slips back into the ring and has words with the referee. Kirsta stands behind Spade, then whistles at him. Spade turns and takes a Hell's Bitch Kick to the chin which sends Spade down to the mat. We then see Rated R slipping into the ring behind Kirsta. He chop blocks her down to the mat while Spade is rolled out of the ring by Steve Blake. Scavenger slowly gets to his feet at ringside and sees his injured wife, out cold on the floor. He looks enraged and grabs a cameraman at ringside, shoves him down and takes the camera from him. Rated R stands Kirsta up inside the ring and then whips her out to the floor between Scavenger and Jack Spade. Scavenger catches Kirsta with the camera instead of Spade. He curses and then he clocks Spade with the camera. Rated R just watches and smirks inside the ring. Ricky Simms - What the hell was that? Henry Lesher - Rick, you're going to give yourself a heart attack here. That was a complete wash. The referee calls for the bell and it is announced that this match has been ruled a no contest due to the actions of Scavenger. Rated R protests inside the ring and says that he is the winner. The crowd boos and starts a chant of "bullshit" which echoes and builds momentum quickly. We then hear "Somebody Told Me" by The Killers and Assault GM Wyatt Gibson steps out onto the stage with a microphone in hand. Wyatt Gibson - Well, the fun event just went down the tubes. Tell you what, next week Kirsta Lewis and Rated R can have a fight. If anyone interferes in that match, they're fired. It's that simple. Scavenger, next week you're facing Gaul. To make that interesting and as a punishment for what happened here, it's going to be a hardcore match for Gaul only. You have to stay within the rules. He can use weapons, chokes and anything he would like to. He can't be disqualified, but you can. It's only fair after destroying CWA property like that at a time when we don't have tons of money to spare. We'll see all of you next week. Ricky Simms - I don't know that anyone is happy with this, but we'll be here next week to see how this all plays out. Henry Lesher - It's standard fare for the CWA, Rick. At least we'll have some real matches next week starring real wrestlers and Scavenger can get himself destroyed again. |
