July 13 - Fallout from Sunstroke promises to be huge. The Moose won the title in the first standard title match we have seen at a pay per view in a long while, winning it from a now retired Slim Pickens. Though that match was truly a highlight, the Sanitarium match which was set to crown a number one contender drew huge praise as Michael Anthony won the match and now has the right to square off for the title in the near future. Myst was also very visible in her return to the CWA with a Women's Title win and a strong showing in the Sanitarium as well as a bizarre fight with a cardboard cutout of Rated R. This also marked the first ever retro battle royal won by Leech.
March 27 - The CWA's one champion is Jack Spade and he is already seeing strong challenges coming his way from superstars such as Slim Pickens, Pyro and Max Cameron. There are also rumors of a coming CWA radio show as well as a Youtube channel as the CWA strives to continue providing a unique experience to its members. Time will tell whether these rumors turn out to be more than that.
January 4 - Welcome to 2011 as the CWA
undergoes a metamorphosis. There are new faces coming in, old faces coming back
and a general feeling that, as JR once said, business is about to pick up. Sign
up now if you want to be a part of the ride.
December 6 - Buck made quite the impression in his first CWA match, just falling
short of becoming the new Rocky Mountain Champion. Slim Pickens won that strap
and the stranglehold that Lethal Attraction has on the belts in the CWA is now
total. The rest of the roster is going to be looking to change that at BOTW
2011.
September 27 - Lucy Johnson came out of Scorched Earth with the World Title, but
she failed to retain her Rocky Mountain Title as JGH grabbed that gold for
himself. JGH now is set to face Slim Pickens at the next Assault to decide who
gets the next title shot at Dead By Dawn. The CWA has announced some new talent
being signed, but there is still no final word on whether there will be a GM for
Assault or who it might be, though rumors have Wyatt Gibson returning to the
company yet again.
August 16 - The emerging Lethal Attraction team looked unstoppable last night.
That was when Joey K, Austin Houston and JGH came out to set the record straight
as the new stars of the CWA. With the suspension of Jake Masterson his money was
freed up to sign some new people to the company and it's certain to mark the
beginning of a new chapter for the CWA. It was also announced that there will be
3 different weekly shows between the now monthly pay per views. One thing is for
certain. No job or title is safe at this time. Backdraft promises to be an
amazing night for everyone involved.
July 4 - Slim Pickens scaled to the top of the CWA mountain while Lucy Johnson
became the Rocky Mountain champion at Sunstroke. In a shocking move, Slim became
the CWA's top dog when he managed to stand atop the Sanitarium and claim his
first CWA World Title. This all occurred after Jake Masterson again showed why
he's called PrimeTime in keeping his recently won Vivid-Gore Title. He opted to
take that title and head home rather than compete for the other belts, though he
has made it clear he intends to scale to the top himself soon. In a bizarre
move, Henry Lesher left his announce table and followed Vesuvius out of the
company and into Underground Wrestling, a company with some bizarre ideas they
feel will make them superior to the CWA in every way. Time will tell.
