September 5, 2010

Tricia Smith makes her way down the ramp to the ring without any music. She is wearing a black leather jacket, plain black T-shirt and blue jeans, complete with hiking boots. This is a departure from her usual attire. She steps up onto the ring apron and looks out towards the crowd before stepping through the ropes into the ring. She paces inside the ring as Missy is seen coming down the ramp with a microphone in hand. Tricia has her head down and doesn't react as Missy joins her inside the ring.

Missy - Fans, welcome to the first edition of Breakthrough in seven years!

The crowd cheers and the camera shows fans in the front row holding up signs that show their love or hatred for wrestlers in the CWA.

Missy - Now, I am here with Tricia Smith and kast time we saw you, Tricia, you were wearing body paint and getting knocked out, then failing to aid your partner Rose Lemieux later in the night.

Tricia Smith - *lookin up with tears in her eyes* I am well aware of that, Missy. I am well aware of my own failures. I wanted to show the world I had no fear, that I was a woman. I have been treated like a kid for months and I went too far, bit off more than I could chew and tonight... I am ready to end it.

Missy - Meaning what?

Tricia Smith - Tonight... if I fail to win my match, I will quit wrestling. I'll leave and you'll never see me inside a CWA ring again.

The crowd actually has a mixed reaction to this announcement and that causes a tear to stream down Tricia's cheek as she slowly shakes her head.

Missy - Who are you facing?

Tricia Smith - Kaleigh Simms.

The crowd cheers hearing Kaleigh's name. Tricia starts crying, drops and rolls herself out of the ring to the floor and then starts making her way up the ramp with her face in her hands.

Missy is seen with Samson bckstage. He throws back his long, blond hair and smirks as Missy readies to ask him something. He doesn't let her get started.

Samson - I am glad to be here tonight to make certain things don't go well for Black Panther. You see, fans are all into the Lethal Attraction against the world idea, but we Originals have a title of our own to chase. Noah, you know damned well that title shot is rightfully mine.

Missy - But you lost and that was supposed to be your last shot.

Samson - My last shot at Noah, yes. See, the problem is, I don't believe Black Panther has done anything in years to warrant being pushed like this. Hell, even Night Dweller who tagged with him for years, thinks that this isn't a worthy title shot. Noah is defending against Black Panther because he is ducking me. It's that pure and simple.

Missy - But he beat you already... twice.

Samson - You know what, Missy, the next time you try to pull attitude with me I take your head off. Deal?

Missy backs off and hands Samson the microphone.

Samson - This is MY time! This is MY time to be the champion, to get all the praise. My time to prove to the world that I truly am the best and that snot nosed punk thinks he can hold my belt, defend it against fossils and get away with it?! That's not how it works around here, Noah. I will be there every damned time you turn around until you see that I am the number one contender and the rightful heir to the throne as Originals champion!

He takes a step closer to the camera.

Samson - Now I am needing a fight, so I am going to head to that ring and anyone who wants to fight me can come out and accept my challenge. I'm not going to be ignored!

He pushes the cameraman down and ten shoves Missy's shoulder before he heads off towards the ring. The crowd is already booing.

Samson vs. ???

"Vicarious" by Tool plays as Samson comes out onto the stage and the crowd's booing gets louder. He stands on stage and tells them that they're all worthless to him and he shouts at them to shut up. This just causes them to get louder as he makes his way down the ramp to ringside and then pulls himself up onto the ring apron before stepping through the ropes into the ring. His music the fades and we hear "Bonecracker" by Shocore and Blair Drake comes out to cheers from the crowd. He nods towards Samson as he makes his way down the ramp and tells the camera that he is here to shut the loudmouth up.

Ricky Simms - So, Blair is calling someone else a loudmouth. That's bad.

Henry Lesher - Well, he's jealous that Samson is the new generation and he can't keep up. Blair is one step behind everyone else now. The world knows that.

Blair steps up onto the ring apron and then steps through the ropes into the ring. The referee calls for the bell while Samson signals for a timeout. Blair then kicks Samson in the gut, pulls him by the hair into the corner and then starts ramming his head into the buckle while the fans cheer. Blair then snap mares Samson to the middle of the ring and then places him in a nerve hold. The referee checks for a submission on the still shocked Samson, but he doesn't give up. Samson reaches out for the ropes while Blair shouts at him to give up. Samson then reaches back and eye gouges Blair, then elbows him in the ribs before whipping him through the ropes and out to the floor. Samson then waits for Blair to get to his feet before giving him a baseball slide to the chest, sending Blair falling back into the railing. Samson then pulls himself to his feet inside the ring and bows to the booing crowd.

Ricky Simms - Samson is getting cocky early here, even by his standards.

Henry Lesher - Not his fault they couldn't get him a real challenger.

Blair gets to his feet on the floor and then pulls himself onto the ring apron before he steps through the ropes into the ring. Samson backs away and tells Blair just to give up before he is humiliated. Blair answers by giving Samson the finger. Samson charges at Blair and takes a short arm clothesline to the mat where Blair then starts putting the boots to him. Samson quickly rolls himself out of the ring and again is seen signaling for a timeout. Blair drops and rolls himself out to the floor before he starts trading punches with Samson. Samson ducks a punch from Blair and then gives him a jawbreaker followed by a drop toe hold to the floor. Samson then applies a crossface chicken wing on Blair and shouts at him to give up while the referee exits the ring and instructs Samson to take this back into the ring. Samson shouts at the referee, so Steve Miller starts counting both men out.

Ricky Simms - Samson didn't expect a real fight here.

Henry Lesher - Well, it is Breakthrough, a show not known for having real matches on it.

Blair manages to get to his hands and knees which forces Samson to let go of the hold. Samson then runs Blair head first into the steel ring steps before Samson rolls himself back into the ring. Samson then backs himself up to the middle of the ring as Blair gets to his feet on the floor. Blair uses the ropes to pull himself onto the ring apron and then steps through the ropes into the ring. Samson charges at Blair and runs right into a spear to the mat from Blair. Blair then stands Samson up, whips him into the corner buckle and then gives him a running knee lift to the chest before picking him up and giving him a power slam to the mat where he goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Samson. Blair then stands Samson up, whips him off the ropes and Samson ducks a clothesline before he then rolls Blair into a school boy, hooking the tights. 1...2...3! The referee missed the tights being held and Samson gets the victory.

Ricky Simms - Samson gets the win thanks to stretching the rules there.

Henry Lesher - Yeah, make excuses for the loser. You've always been big on that.

Samson leaves the ring and tells the camera that the Originals Title belongs to him, then actually spits at the camera before he heads up the ramp with the fans booing him as loud as ever.

Joe Davidson is seen backstage with Steve Blake.

Joe Davidson - Two months ago, Steve, the last time we saw you, you were busy stabbing me in the back.

Steve Blake - Yeah, I knew you would bring that up. See, Joe, we were in a tag title match that we had no business being in. I did what I did to preserve the sanctity of the tag titles.

Joe Davidson - You expect me to believe that?

Steve Blake - It doesn't matter what you believe, Joe. The wrestling world has passed you by. I could not carry you any longer. It just wasn't good for me.

Joe Davidson - See, I knew your ego had a lot to do with it, so I signed you up for a match tonight.

Steve Blake - You can't do that.

Joe Davidson - I can and I did. The Breakthrough GM gave me the right to book one match for you, so I made it a good one. It's hardcore rules, so don't worry about your technical savvy in this.

Steve Blake - What?

Joe Davidson - I shouldn't keep you though. I know you have a lot of getting ready to do.

Steve Blake - I'm not ready!

Joe Davidson - I wasn't ready to get stabbed in the back at Sunstroke, but it still happened right? Payback is a bitch and she's packing heat.

Joe walks off and we head back to the ring.

"Take It Off" by Kesha plays as Samantha Stryker comes out onto the stage where she gets a mixed reaction from the crowd. It is announced that she is getting a shot at the World Title and the crowd actually turns hostile with that announcement. Samantha makes her way down the ramp and slips into the ring while Lucy and First Degree step out onto the stage.

Lucy Johnson - Okay, you want to boo this girl? I am showing you all I am a fighting champion! I have to defend my title at pay per views, but this title defense was my decision! Samantha has made a name for herself on the independent scene.

First Degree - You know, not a damned one of you people deserve an explanation tonight. Lucy is just trying to be nice, but to hell with you.

Lucy throws the microphone aside and they make their way down the ramp side by side. Lucy hands her title belts off to First Degree and then she slips into the ring which allows the referee to call for the bell. Lucy gets to her feet and smiles at Samantha Stryker, telling her that this is her big chance.

Ricky Simms - This is a joke.

Henry Lesher - No, this is admirable. This champion is putting her title on the line a week after winning it. I admire her courage.

Ricky Simms - This is courage to you?

Lucy moves in and locks up with Stryker, then shoves her into the corner buckle. Lucy then gives her a knee to the gut before giving her a double under hook suplex to the mat. Lucy then goes to the ropes and makes her way to the top. She hits a 450 splash onto the fallen Samantha Stryker and then hooks the leg for the pin. 1...2...3! Lucy rolls herself out of the ring, gasping for air and wiping sweat that isn't there from her forehead. She grabs the microphone from ring announcer Jen Hawkins.

Lucy Johnson - And your winner and STILL World heavyweight champion... Lucy Johnson!

She holds her belt high as First Degree raises her hands in victory while the crowd starts a "bullshit" chant.

Ricky Simms - I can't handle much more of this.

Henry Lesher - Hey, that is a dominant champion right there.

Lucy and First Degree start to make their way up the ramp when we see Slim Pickens on the big screen hanging above the stage.

Slim Pickens - Woooooo, you hear that Lucy? That's thousands of CWA fans telling you what they think of your title match. If you want a title match, I am right here. Sign on the dotted line and we'll main event this show right here! The real champ will come down there, take his title back and you two peckerwoods can cry in each other's beer about hoe you got bested by Slim Pickens!

The crowd cheers and starts a chant for Slim. First Degree retrieves the microphone from the stage he has used earlier. He doesn't look impressed.

First Degree - Listen up old man! Lucy would love to beat you again. She would love to beat you down right here tonight, but.... but, problem is, you're not healed up from the last beating she gave you.

Lucy Johnson - I don't want you to have an excuse when we next meet inside that ring, Slim. I have the belt and the CWA is grateful. I am young. I am hot. I am talented and I have the best man in the world at my side. It doesn't get any better than Lethal Attraction.

Slim Pickens - *laughing* You believe your hype, girl. I'll see the both of you before this night is out. I had hoped you would man up. I guess I have to force the issue.

The image of Slim then goes to static for a moment before that is replaced by the CWA logo.

Ricky Simms - Slim is going to deal with these two tonight, one way or another.

Henry Lesher - Can't I have a night without him showing up?

Noah Skanes is seen sitting on a bench in his locker room with Neriah Sweet sitting next to him.

Neriah Sweet - Shannon, tonight you defend that belt against Black Panther. The thing is, Samson intends to ruin the match. Your thoughts?

Noah Skanes - Samson is going to be taught a lesson again, I hope. He's a slow learner. I have to admit that now. This thing between Samson and I has gone on for ages and there seems to be no end in sight. I just have to do my best against Panther and let security deal with that long haired freak.

Neriah Sweet - Your opinion on Lethal Attraction?

Noah Skanes - They have been running over Assault and they ran over Backdraft. I see what they're doing and I don't like it, but I respect their talents.

Neriah Sweet - Do you worry about them targeting you?

Noah Skanes - Everyone targets me, Neriah. I have a title and I am the owner's son. That combination puts me on everyone's hit list. I just have to continue to survive.

Neriah Sweet - Your opinion of Black Panther?

Noah Skanes - It's a shame his title shot comes at Breakthrough. This guy deserves a shot at a major pay per view event. I just wanted to make sure he got that shot to be the Originals Champ.

Neriah Sweet - Best of luck to you.

Noah Skanes - Thanks.

Noah gets up and heads for the ring.

Noah Skanes vs. Black Panther

"Alive" by Pearl Jam plays as Black Panther comes out onto the stage with Gravity at his side. He gets booed by many in the crowd, though one can guess a lot of that is on Gravity since he usually has nothing decent to say to anyone. Gravity and Panther make their way down the ramp to ringside and then they talk there before Panther then pulls himself onto the ring apron, then steps through the ropes into the ring. His music fades and then we hear "Just Like You" by Three Days Grace and Noah Skanes comes out onto the stage with his title belt raised high. The crowd cheers him as he makes his way down the ramp and then hands off his title belt to the timekeeper before he steps through the ropes into the ring.

Ricky Simms - That title belt has passed back and forth between Noah and Samson and Samson cannot let it go now, cannot accept that Noah finally beat him and soundly too.

Henry Lesher - Why accept it? That would make Samson a loser.

The referee calls for the bell and Noah moves in to lock up with Black Panther. Noah shoves Panther into the ropes only to take a forearm smash to the jaw from Panther. Noah answers with a forearm smash of his own and then he gives Panther a vertical suplex to the mat. Noah stands Panther up, whips him off the ropes and then gives him a backdrop to the mat. Noah then goes to the ropes and climbs to the second rope. Panther gets up only to take a flying shoulder block back to the mat from Noah who goes for the early pin. 1...2... kick out by Panther. Noah stands Panther up, whips him off the ropes and Panther ducks a clothesline before giving Noah a reverse neckbreaker to the mat. Panther then stands Noah up and then headlocks him before giving him a bulldog to the mat, then goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Noah.

Ricky Simms - Solid action so far in this title fight, one which is a REAL title fight.

Henry Lesher - What are you getting at, Rick?

Panther stands Noah up and whips him through the ropes to the floor. He then argues with the referee while Gravity makes his way around to Noah and then kicks him in the gut twice before picking him up and slamming him to the floor. Gravity then backs off while Panther rolls himself out to the floor. Panther stands Noah up and slams his head into the steel ring steps before whipping him into the guard railing. He tells the camera that this is the beginning of the end for the champ. Panther then stands Noah up and rolls him into the ring before doing the same himself. Panther then goes for the pin. 1...2... Noah gets a foot on the bottom rope.

Ricky Simms - As close to the title as Panther has ever been right there.

Henry Lesher - Noah will lose the belt. It's what he is good at.

Panther stands Noah up, whips him off the ropes and misses with a dropkick as Noah side steps it. Noah then lands a knee drop to the head on Panther before he pulls Panther to the middle of the ring. Noah applies a figure four leglock on the challenger and the crowd cheers. The referee checks for a submission, but Panther is unwilling to give up yet. He reaches out for the ropes which are too far away. Panther tries pulling himself closer to the ropes. Gravity is heard slapping the mat and screaming at Panther to get it done. Panther then tries to turn the hold over which would reverse the pressure. He then lunges and manages to snag the bottom rope to force the break. Noah does release the hold and quickly gets to his feet while Panther retreats to the floor.

Ricky Simms - Panther showing his veteran presence there.

Henry Lesher - Hey, he's better than Noah. I know that, but who isn't? Get Lucy out here to teach that kid a thing or two about wrestling.

Noah paces inside the ring while Gravity an Black Panther talk on the floor. Panther finally pulls himself onto the ring apron and then steps through the ropes into the ring. He moves in for a lock up with Noah, but places him in an arm bar instead which he turns into a hammerlock. Noah answers with elbows to the head on Panther with his free arm and then gives him an eye gouge. Noah snap mares Panther to the mat and then picks him up and power slams him to the mat. Noah then goes to the ropes and makes his way to the top. Gravity climbs onto the ring apron, so Noah leaps off the top and dropkicks Gravity back down to the floor. He lands on the mat where Panther goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Noah. Panther stands Noah up, whips him off the ropes and misses a clothesline as Noah ducks that and then gives Panther an atomic drop before giving him an inverted DDT t the mat where he goes for the pin. 1...2...3! Noah wins and retains the Originals title. The crowd cheers as he rolls himself out of the ring to the floor. He then takes a chair shot to the head from Samson.

Ricky Simms - Here comes the cheap shot artist, Samson.

Henry Lesher - Hey, the kid should keep his head up. He said he understood that everyone was out to get him.

Samson grabs the Originals title belt and raises it high while the fans boo.

Ray is seen standing at the door to Lydia Parizi's locker room. She comes out and rolls her eyes when she sees Ray there.

Lydia Parizi - What do you want?

Ray Dees - I want to talk to Tricia.

Lydia Parizi - No.

Ray Dees - Why not? I mean, we need to know why she is in there talking to you in the first place.

Lydia Parizi - Not your business, Raymond. Isn't one restraining order from a woman enough for you?

Ray Dees - That's with Rose, not with Tricia.

Lydia Parizi - Keep creeping around here and that list will grow fast.

Ray Dees - Can't you give me any information?

Lydia Parizi - No, not tonight. In fact, not ever Ray. Now, unless you would like my father to talk to you about the hazards of bothering me....

Ray Dees - I'm going! I'm going!

Ray backs off, grumbling to himself as he does so. Lydia opens the door to the locker room.

Lydia Parizi - Come on sweetie. Let's show the CWA what they're dealing with.

"Bad Medicine" by Bon Jovi plays as Kaleigh Simms makes her way out onto the stage. She gets a solid reaction from the crowd as she waves from the stage. Moments later, Tricia Smith and Lydia Parizi come out onto the stage and Tricia chop blocks Kaleigh down while Lydia puts the boots to her. Tricia then pulls Kaleigh by the feet towards the stage entrance, grabs an audio cable and wraps it around Kaleigh's throat.

Ricky Simms - What the hell is Tricia doing?

Henry Lesher - A good old fashioned lynching?

Lydia motions to Tricia and then start pulling Kaleigh up with the cable around her neck and it's been lopped around the steel supports of the stage itself. Rose Lemieux then emerges at ringside, in street clothes and with a chair in hand, and she rushes up to make the save. She clocks Lydia with the chair and then grabs Tricia by the neck. She choke slams Tricia and then helps Kaleigh down. Kaleigh falls to her hands and knees while Neriah Sweet appears from backstage with a microphone that Rose quickly grabs.

Rose Lemieux - What the hell, Tricia? You don't pull crap like this on Kaleigh! You're supposed to be my partner!

Tricia Smith - *slowly getting up to her hands and knees* Like you defended me when she attacked me last week?

Rose Lemieux - She was saving you from public humiliation. Lydia Parizi is making money by turning the women of this company into whores. I have never been in any sleazy type match because I know that won't advance my career. You will not advance your career here with Lydia.

Tricia Smith - Advance where? I'm desperate Rose and everyone is going to pay. Watch what happens on Assault next week when I face Joey K!

Rose Lemieux - *smirks* He's above you dear and everyone knows it.

Tricia Smith - In two weeks, on Restricted, I want a match with Lydia as my partner against you and Kaleigh.

Rose Lemieux - Like this joke of a match you just had with Kaleigh?

Tricia Smith - Two weeks, Rose. Bra and panty tag match.

Rose Lemieux - I just told you I don't.... you know what? If that's what will finally shut you up, fine. You're on.

Lydia takes a step towards Rose, finally recovered from the chair shot. Rose clocks her in the forehead again and then does the same to Tricia. Rose then helps partner Kaleigh Simms into the backstage area.

Ricky Simms - I don't like how that turned out at all.

Henry Lesher - No one cares about your daughter or your opinion of that crap we just saw.

Jessica Sweet is seen with Rated R backstage. He is clad in a suit.

Jessica Sweet - It's odd to see you at an event you're not even supposed to be a part of. Why the appearance backstage?

Rated R - As an owner now, it's in my best interests to be here. See, Tricia just announced a match for my show in two weeks. I am working on making certain all revenues from Restricted belong to me since this is a name I came up with. I own the rights to it.

Jessica Sweet - You maintained that copyright all these years?

Rated R - I don't need to. I am Rated R. The name of the show is representative of me, same as Smackdown is to that hack The Rock. I feel ill with that comparison, but it is what it is. I feel I should be compensated for my show bringing in extra money to this company.

Jessica Sweet - But you already have shares in the company.

Rated R - And as a shareholder I get to see how bad things have been and how I am turning things around. My efforts, my work and my ability have brought this company back from the brink. I deserve money for that and I will get it.

Jessica Sweet - This company has paid you million from tournaments alone.

Rated R - Cost of living goes up. Things get more expensive. I have the right to ask for proper compensation regardless of tournaments won years ago. That money is rightfully mine and I will be more hands on with operations in this company now. This is how it's supposed to be. Shannon has been holding this company back, but I am freeing it from his chains.

Rated R walks off and we return to the ring.

Steve Blake vs. ???

Steve Blake is already inside the ring and Joe Davidson is at ringside smiling, telling Blake he is about to get what he has coming to him. We then hear "Snuff" by Slipknot and the crowd boos as First Degree emerges onto the stage. He is wearing black jeans, a black T-shirt and what appear to be combat boots. Blake drops and rolls himself out of the ring, though the referee has already sounded the bell for this hardcore rules match. Blake runs around the ring and right into a boot to the chin from Joe Davidson. First Degree then grabs Blake and whips him into the guard railing before putting the boots to him.

Ricky Simms - Why the hell would Joe have First Degree out here like this?

Henry Lesher - Who better to teach Steve a lesson than a real wrestler?

First Degree picks Steve Blake up and drop him on the guard railing, catching his ribs with the unforgiving steel. Degree then sees Joe smiling nearby and runs at him, spearing him to the floor. He then starts putting the boots to Joe while Lucy Johnson makes her way down the ramp to join him. The crowd starts booing and a chant starts for Slim. First Degree rolls Joe into the ring where Lucy then starts choking him with the bottom rope. First Degree then rolls Steve into the ring before pulling a table out from under the ring. He slips the table into the ring before asking Joe how he was doing with the revenge thing. He slaps Joe across the face before he then slides into the ring and starts setting up the table.

Ricky Simms - My God, wasn't one mugging by these two enough for them tonight?

Henry Lesher - Apparently not.

First Degree sets up the table and then he starts putting the boots to Blake. Lucy releases Joe as he passes out from the choke and then she stands him up as well as she can before dumping him through the ropes to the floor. Lucy then perches herself on the top rope to watch First Degree work. First Degree picks Blake up and slams him onto the table which does not break. He then goes to the ropes and climbs. Lucy climbs in her corner as well. They both land flying body presses onto Steve Blake, Degree hitting high while Lucy hits low and it sends Blake through the table to the mat where First Degree goes for the pin. 1...2...3! First Degree gets the quick win. He gets to his feet and tells the camera that nothing can stop Lethal Attraction.

Ricky Simms - Yeah, I really wanted to see these two mugging more people tonight.

Henry Lesher - I like it. It's simple and it sends a message.

Degree and Lucy bow inside the ring, but their celebration is short lived as JGH charges into the ring from the crowd. He dropkicks Lucy down and out to the floor, then gets to his feet and starts brawling with First Degree. They trade punches inside the ring while Slim is then seen running down the ramp and to ringside. Lucy goes for a high kick on Slim, but he catches her leg and then he yells "Wooo" before kissing her on the lips and then he clotheslines her to the floor. First Degree sees this and turns his head to say something to Slim when he takes a knee to the gut from JGH who then gives First Degree a swinging neckbreaker to the mat before hooking the leg for a pin counted by Slim Pickens. 1...2...3.

Ricky Simms - JGH just showed the world he can beat First Degree!

Henry Lesher - No, he proved he is an idiot. That wasn't a match. Next week, he is going to fail. Lethal Attraction will destroy Slim and JGH, so enjoy it while you can.

Ricky Simms - Tune in next week for Assault when JGH and First Degree meet to decide who the Vivid-Gore champ is. It should be quite the night.

Henry Lesher - Lucy is going to rip Slim's lips off. Don't forget that part.

We fade to black with Slim and JGH standing side by side, proving that war does cause strange alliances to form.
