January 2, 2010 "Deep" by Nine Inch Nails plays as Shannon Skanes comes out onto the stage, apparently ready to wrestle tonight and he is wearing a black arm band. His head is down as he makes his way down the ramp to ringside and then he rolls himself into the ring. He already has a microphone in hand. Shannon Skanes - Welcome to the single greatest CWA event ever. *crowd pops* See, Chilliwack might only be able to cram 5,000 people into this arena, but that seemed fitting since this is where the company got its start. Tonight's event will be dedicated to my father, Jack Skanes. *pause as the crowd cheers again* See... my father was never seen on a CWA camera. We were never that close. We didn't have what I have with Noah. I look back now, black band on my arm, and I do wonder what might have been done differently. Shannon lowers the microphone and we hear "The Memory Remains" by Metallica and Bruce Miller leads Mike Wagner, Steve Lang, Greg Anderson, Charles Grogan and Charley MacAdam onto the stage. The six men then make their way down the ramp to ringside and all are wearing black arm bands. It's Bruce who steps up onto the apron before stepping through the ropes into the ring. He also has a microphone. Bruce Miller - Well, if you're going to come out here and do this, do it right. Tonight, the Sensational Seven reunite. Tonight we dedicate our matches to your father Battle of the Warriors 2010 will make you proud and will bring great honor to what you're doing here tonight. Shannon embraces Bruce while the rest of the Sensational Seven applaud at ringside. The crowd applauds as well, but that is short lived as "I Hate Everything About You" by Three Days Grace plays and the hated Rated R makes his way onto the stage. The crowd boos him loudly as he smirks upon the ring before him. Rated R - So I should feel something then? See, I am not an insensitive man. I am not a monster. I just find you making money off your father's passing rather... cold. Shannon Skanes - Ryan, I'll tear your throat out. Just so you know, I am not getting a cent from tonight's show. Rated R - Yet I hear that these douchebag friends of yours plan on staying together and being a weekly stable again. Shannon Skanes - We will likely have more shows, yes. Rated R - So the demise of Jack Skanes has led to you putting the old guys back out there at the same time as you're making money off of Tommy Purr's efforts elsewhere. You're quite the piece of work and yet these insects boo me. Boo me? I don't pretend to care about people I don't talk to. I don't pretend to be a loving person and yet throw my wife away like garbage. Bruce Miller - You know what, Yorke, go get fucked. Seriously, you have spent the last six years of your life following this guy? You ran his wife down... Rated R - Who he was cheating on. Bruce Miller - Seriously? You're a fake, Ryan. You're a fake and you're a piece of shit. Rated R - You think you can show me the err of my ways? Shannon Skanes - No, I will. Ryan, for this scene tonight, I will end your career for good. I hope you brought your gear. I'm taking you to the tool shed tonight. Rated R - I'm not here to wrestle. "Secret Separation" by The Fixx plays and the crowd explodes when Steve Blake, Joe Davidson and Mark Davis come out onto the stage and all three are dressed as referees. Blake walks up to Ryan and grabs the microphone from him. Steve Blake - Ryan, you have to wrestle tonight. Some of us found your car and we carried it away. You wrestle or we crush the piece of shit. Rated R - I'll call the police! This is an outrage! I have powerful friends who... Mark Davis knees Ryan in the gut and Joe gives him a DDT to the stage. Steve Blake - That shut him up. Let's get him ready, guys. The three referees pick Ryan up and carry him
backstage while the crowd and the Sensational Seven applaud. We then
hear "Lust For Life" by Iggy Pop and we see images of the
Sensational Seven, Rated R, Max Cameron, Leech, The 420 Flock, Dizz,
Vigilante, Frank Merritt, Kathy Smith, Myst, Halloween Jack,
Vesuvius, Scavenger, Dante, and Japhy Ryder before we head to
ringside where Henry Lesher and Ricky Simms are all set to call
tonight's action. Ricky Simms - We are underway on a very emotional night in the CWA. Henry Lesher - Well, Ryan's right, this is a money making swindle really. It's nothing more than that. Ricky Simms - You're heartless, Doc. Charley manages to reach the bottom rope which forces the break. Jack reluctantly lets go of Charley and then stands him up, whips him off the ropes and then gives him a dropkick back to the mat. Jack then pulls Charley to his corner and tags in Frank Merritt. Merritt steps through the ropes into the ring and he and Jack both put the boots to Charley. Jack then exits the ring while Frank picks Charley up and slams him to the mat before applying a boot choke on him. He releases that before the five count, stands Charley up and whips him off the ropes before giving him a backdrop to the mat. Frank then goes for a leg drop, but Charley rolls out of the way and then he jumps to his feet and then gives Frank a series of rights and lefts before pulling him to his corner and tagging in Grogan. Ricky Simms - Nice move by Charley there as he tags in Grogan, considered by some to be the most talented wrestler who never won the CWA's World Title. Henry Lesher - Considering some of the idiots who have held that title, I am surprised he didn't trip over the ropes getting into the ring. Grogan picks Merritt up and gives him a shoulderbreaker and then goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Frank, Charles Grogan than stands Merritt up and whips him through the ropes and out to the floor. Grogan then drops and rolls himself out after Frank. Grogan stands Frank up and gives him a knee to the gut before trying to run him into the steel steps. Instead, Frank blocks that and then gives Charles a kick to the chest before landing a thunderous clothesline to the floor on Grogan. Merritt then stands Grogan up and rolls him in before doing the same himself. Merritt then applies a sleeperhold on Grogan and the referee checks for a submission. Instead of submitting, Grogan thumbs Frank in the eye and that allows him to get free of the hold. Charles then stands Frank up, whips him off the ropes and gives him a spinebuster to the mat before going for the pin. 1...2... Frank kicks out and Grogan tags MacAdam back in. Charley quickly jumps to the top rope and launches himself at Frank. He misses a flying elbow smash as Frank rolls out of the way and then tags Jack in. Charley holds his elbow as he gets to his feet and stands face to face with Halloween Jack. Ricky Simms - Right back where we started here in this one. Henry Lesher - The fans almost care. Jack and Charley start trading knife edge chops to the chest. Charley then gives Jack a forearm smash to the jaw before kneeing him in the gut and then he gives him a hip toss to the mat where he applies an arm bar. Jack quickly gets to his feet and then pulls Charley to the mat by the hair. The referee warns Jack about the hair pull and they argue while Merritt then enters the ring and lands a leg drop to the chest on MacAdam. Grogan charges into the ring and spears Frank to the mat while the referee then tries to clear this all up. Charley MacAdam slowly gets to his feet and takes a headbutt from Halloween Jack who then whips Charley off the ropes before giving him a tilt a whirl backbreaker and then Jack goes for the pin. 1...2.... kick out by Charley. Jack then tags in Frank. Ricky Simms - Both teams are showing great teamwork, though neither of them have tagged many times. Charles tagged more with Bruce Miller and Charley tagged more with Mike Wagner back in the day. Henry Lesher - No one cared back in the day anymore than they care now. At least we have Frank. Frank Merritt gives Charley a running knee lift to the face and then picks him up before giving him a gorilla press slam to the mat. Frank then stands Charley up and headlocks him and signals that this is it. Charley bears down and shoves Frank into the corner, then jumps to the second rope and gives Frank a monkey flip to the middle of the ring. Charley then tags in Charles. Frank gets to his feet, takes a knee to the gut and Charles then gives Frank a power slam to the mat before going for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Frank. Charles rolls Frank out to the floor and then follows him out. Charles and Frank then start trading punches on the floor. Jack drops off the apron and charges towards the action. MacAdam does the same and he and Jack drill each other with spears that cause them to land in a heap next to the fighting Frank and Charles. Charles and Frank then trade headbutts followed by Charles giving Frank a clothesline to the floor. The referee calls for the bell. Ricky Simms - The referee has counted both teams out in this wild one. Henry Lesher - Hey, Grogan knew damned well he couldn't bear Frank, so he got a draw. I can't fault his logic and maybe that's why he never won the big one, Rick. Security gets between the still fighting tag teams while we head backstage. There, we see Ray Dees with Noah Skanes in the champ's locker room. Ray Dees - Champ, tonight you face Samson in a match he says is his last title shot. If he fails to beat you tonight, he won't challenge you again. Noah Skanes - Look, it wouldn't matter to me either way. The title is mine and I show everyone once again why Samson is not man enough to defeat me. Ray Dees - It goes without saying that the loss of your grandfather has a profound impact on this event. How does this affect you inside the ring? Noah Skanes - I will dedicate my match to the memory of Jack Skanes. This is a night to come together and celebrate life while remembering those who have passed on. Ray Dees - I heard family has been flown in for tonight's show? Noah Skanes - My aunts, uncles, and cousins are in attendance yes. My great grandmother has managed to make it as well. This is a really big night for all of us. Ray Dees - Are you going to ask for membership in the Sensational Seven?
Noah Skanes - No, see, tonight we will see the beginning of
something else. I am not going to try and be my father. I make my
own destiny, Raymond. Ricky Simms - It's an old grudge match here, these two having fought each other for years. Henry Lesher - Scavenger manages to fail most of the time, of course. It's his style. Scavenger stands Vesuvius up, whips him off the ropes and dropkicks him in the chest. Scavenger then goes to the ropes, jumps to the second rope and then leaps off. Vesuvius ducks a clothesline and then picks Scavenger up and delivers a backbreaker before going for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Scavenger. Vesuvius then stands Scavenger up, whips him into the corner buckle and then gives him a series of shoulder blocks in the corner. Scavenger answers with a knee lift to the head on Vesuvius and then gives him a headbutt before then giving him a side Russian leg sweep to the mat. Scavenger then stands Vesuvius up, whips him off the ropes and gives him a hip toss to the mat into a sleeper hold. Referee Francis Clarke checks for a submission, but the mountain man is unwilling to give up and instead reaches out for the ropes. We see Athena cheering Vesuvius on from ringside. Ricky Simms - It's highly inappropriate of Athena to be out here dressed as a nun. Henry Lesher - You question her virtue, Rick? Ricky Simms - Are you kidding? Vesuvius reaches out and manages to grab the bottom rope to force the break. Scavenger then kicks Vesuvius in the ribs while V-Man escapes the ring for a breather. Vesuvius gets to his feet on the floor only to be taken down as Scavenger launches himself through the ropes and lands on Vesuvius at ringside. Scavenger then stands Vesuvius up and runs him shoulder first into the steel corner post. Scavenger then rolls Vesuvius back into the ring before doing the same himself. Scavenger then goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Vesuvius. Scavenger slaps the mat and shakes his head before he then stands Vesuvius up. Vesuvius eye gouges Scavenger, then whips him into the corner buckle and then gives him a series of kicks to the ribs. Scavenger answers with a knee lift to the gut on Vesuvius and then picks him up and slams him to the mat. Scavenger then lands a leg drop to the throat on Vesuvius and goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Vesuvius. Ricky Simms - Scavenger is in control, but Vesuvius keeps fighting. Henry Lesher - Scavenger is out of his league here. Scavenger stands Vesuvius up, whips him off the ropes and misses a clothesline as Vesuvius ducks it and then he gives Vesuvius a gutwrench suplex to the mat. Vesuvius then stands Scavenger up, whips him off the ropes and then gives him a shoulder block to the mat. Vesuvius then chokes the downed Scavenger while the referee threatens to disqualify the mountain man. Vesuvius breaks the choke, stands Scavenger up and then whips him off the ropes before both men clothesline each other to the mat. The referee starts to count them both down. We then see Crimson Noir, Chicago Jones, Splint Chesthair and Fist Rockbone charging into the ring. They enter the ring and start laying waste to both Vesuvius and Scavenger which draws boos from the crowd. The referee calls for the bell and is then dumped through the ropes and out to the floor. Fixxxer and Troy Strong are then seen charging into the ring, both brandishing baseball bats. Troy swings and connects with Chicago's gut which sends him out of the ring. Fixxxer catches Fist across the back with the bat he has while the other two escape to ringside. Fixxxer and Troy then stand over Scavenger and Vesuvius while the four attackers make their way from ringside towards the back. Ricky Simms - A cowardly attack there leaves this one in a no contest. Henry Lesher - Scavenger likely set that up to avoid losing. EMTs stream into the ring while we then look backstage where Neriah Sweet is with Jordan Gibson. Neriah Sweet - Jordan, I understand you have something to announce regarding the ladies. Jordan Gibson - Well, tonight's show will only feature one ladies' match and that is between Myst and rival Kathy Smith. I have been told we need to decide which direction we are headed in with regards to the divas. Neriah Sweet - What have you decided? Jordan Gibson - We will be working in concert with pay per view providers and will split the ladies down the middle. One set are pure grapplers and will be featured with the men at events like this. The other set will be willing to work in extreme matches that feature nudity to varying extents. Neriah Sweet - Are there enough ladies to split them down the middle like that? Ray Dees - *as he jumps up* That's what she said! Jordan Gibson - Okay, no being creepy, Ray. It's in your contract. Ray Dees - You ladies are no fun. From restraining orders to this.... I tell you...
Ray heads off with his head down and Neriah and Jordan both sigh. Ricky Simms - It's well known that Hawkins is the one guy who Miller has had fits trying to defeat. Henry Lesher - It's not Hawkins' fault that Bruce sucks. Bruce makes his way up the ring steps onto the apron and then steps through the ropes into the ring. The referee calls for the bell and Hawkins locks up with Miller. Hawkins then knees Bruce in the gut before whipping him into the corner buckle and then giving him a knee lift to the chest before giving him a snap suplex back to the middle of the ring. Hawkins then stands Bruce up, whips him off the ropes and then dropkicks him down to the mat. Hawkins then quickly gets to his feet and sets for a Boston Crab on Bruce, but Miller instead kicks Steve away and Hawkins falls through the ropes to the floor. Miller rolls himself out after. Miller then starts trading punches with Hawkins on the floor. Hawkins then kicks Bruce in the knee before ramming his head into the steel guard railing. Ricky Simms - Hawkins trying to take control here and has already bloodied Bruce. Henry Lesher - The Miller tradition continues. Hawkins rolls Miller into the ring and then rolls himself into the ring as well. Hawkins then pulls Bruce to the center of the ring and applies a figure four leglock which leaves the referee asking Bruce whether or not he can continue. Bruce reaches out for the ropes while the fans start to chant his name. Bruce slowly pulls himself closer to the ropes, seemingly spurred on by the fans. He then manages to grab the bottom rope which forces the break. Bruce then quickly gets to his feet, testing the knee which Hawkins has been targeting. Bruce then gives Hawkins a series of forearm smashes to the jaw. Bruce then stands Hawkins up, whips him off the ropes and then dropkicks him to the mat. Bruce then stands Hawkins up and whips him over the top rope and out to the floor. Bruce then climbs the ropes in the corner. Hawkins gets to his feet and takes a flying cross body from Miller which brings him down to the floor. Miller then chokes the downed Hawkins while the fans cheer. Ricky Simms - Bruce in firm control now. Henry Lesher - No one cares. Miller stands Hawkins up, then rolls him into the ring before doing the same himself. Miller then goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Steve Hawkins. Miller then stands Hawkins up, whips him off the ropes and Hawkins ducks a clothesline before giving Miller a chop block to his sore knee. Hawkins then places Miller in a Boston Crab, putting pressure on the knee. Miller refuses to submit when asked by the referee and he is reaching out for the ropes again to force a break. Miller pulls himself up from the mat and then reaches out again while walking on his elbows towards them. Miller manages to grab the bottom rope which forces the break and then uses the ropes to get to his feet. Hawkins quickly gets to his feet and then rakes the eyes of Miller along the top rope. Ricky Simms - Miller is in trouble here. Henry Lesher - He's overmatched. That's standard for Bruce. Steve Hawkins picks Bruce Miller up, then slams him to the mat. Hawkins then goes to the ropes and makes his way to the top rope. Hawkins gets to his feet and catches a diving Hawkins with a dropkick to the chest which sends both men crashing down to the mat. The referee starts counting both men down and we see Blair Drake making his way down the ramp which draws boos from the fans. Hawkins gets to his feet in time to break up the count and he kicks Miller in the ribs before he then see Blair at ringside. He tells Blair to leave and Blair simply smirks and shakes his head. Behind Hawkins, Miller gets to his feet and then gives a surprise Hawkins a backslide into a pin attempt. 1...2...3! Bruce Miller gets the victory over Steve Hawkins! Ricky Simms - Blair cost his longtime partner the match! Henry Lesher - It is true that Miller cannot win a match on merit alone. He needs help. Miller exits the ring and starts to make his way up the ramp. Drake grabs a chair from ringside and then slips under the bottom rope into the ring. Hawkins gets to his feet and takes a vicious chair shot to the head from Drake. Bruce Miller sees this and charges back into the ring and rubs Blair Drake off. Drake heads up the ramp with a smile on his face and says that the damage is done. Ricky Simms - Bruce may hate Hawkins, but he wasn't going to have Blair attack Hawkins like that. Henry Lesher - This arena is full of wrestlers who impress me more than Bruce Miller. We look backstage and we see Shannon Skanes with Crystal Braun. Crystal Braun - You've had some time to think about your match with Ryan tonight. Do you have anything to add to what has already been said? Shannon Skanes - No, I wish I could say that I did. I am simply going to destroy him. Crystal Braun - Word has it that your father's service was a good one. Shannon Skanes - Yes and tonight's event is special. The money raised through tickets will be routed into various charities. Each wrestler on tonight's card chose a charity and we will split the gates money up accordingly. No one here tonight is getting paid for this appearance. Crystal Braun - That's pretty generous of the CWA. Shannon Skanes - Sometimes it's not easy to do the right thing. Thankfully, this is not one of those times. Crystal Braun - I would wish you luck, but with me being in Anarchy and all and Vesuvius wanting to skin you... doesn't seem right. Shannon Skanes - I understand. Crystal Braun - You going to watch Kathy and Myst tear each other apart? Shannon Skanes - That's tough for me, Crystal. It really is. I don't like that this match is happening, so we'll see how that turns out in the end.
Shannon heads off and we head back to the ring. Ricky Simms - Well, these two are well acquainted. Henry Lesher - No one cares. Just make this one over fast so we can get back to real wrestlers. Kathy and Myst start trading rights and lefts. Myst then knees Kathy in the gut, then whips her off the ropes and then backdrops her to the mat. Myst then lands a knee drop to the forehead on Kathy and then goes for the quick pin. 1...2... kick out by Kathy. Myst then stands Kathy up and whips her through the ropes and out to the floor. Myst then goes to the corner buckle and makes her way to the top rope. She then poses there before she launches herself off the top rope and then lands a flying cross body on Kathy which sends her back to the floor. Myst then rolls Kathy into the ring before doing the same herself and then goes for the pin. 1...2... Kathy gets a foot on the bottom rope. Ricky Simms - Myst is looking to make quick work of Kathy in this one. Henry Lesher - Whatever gets this over faster, Rick. I really don't care. Myst stands Kathy up, whips her into the corner buckle and then charges in for a shoulder block, but Kathy instead knees Myst in the head and then gives her a side slam to the mat. Kathy then picks Myst up before giving her a power slam to the mat. Kathy then goes to the ropes and makes her way to the second rope before she lands a flying elbow to the back of the neck from there. Kathy then rolls Myst into a school boy pin attempt. 1...2... kick out by Myst. Kathy then stands Myst up, whips her off the ropes and both women dropkick each other to the mat. The referee starts counting them both down while the fans are split on who they are cheering for. Ricky Simms - These two are proving they belong on this show. Henry Lesher - No, they're not. Stop lying like that, Rick. Why do you lie? Both ladies get to their hands and knees by the five count and then they start trading punches. Myst then eye gouges Kathy before placing her in a headlock and setting for a DDT. Kathy responds by shoving Myst off and into the corner. Kathy then monkey flips Myst to the middle of the ring. Kathy goes to the ropes and makes her way to the top rope. Myst gets to her feet and then takes a flying dropkick to the mat from Kathy. Kathy then goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Myst. Ricky Simms - Kathy has never beaten Myst. Henry Lesher - Because her amount of suck is greater than Myst's amount of suck. Kathy stands Myst up and whips her through the ropes and out to the floor. Kathy then dives through the ropes and onto Myst, bringing her back to the floor. Kathy then stands Myst up, rolls her into the ring and then she rolls herself into the ring. We then see Missy rushing down the ramp to ringside. She jumps onto the ring apron and the referee spots her while Kathy hits a tilt a whirl backbreaker on Myst and goes for the pin. From the other side of the ring, Sammy Jo Johnson slips into the ring and then she clocks Kathy Smith with a chair. Sammy exits the ring while Myst gets to her feet. She then places Kathy in the Mystifier as Missy drops off the apron with a smile on her face. The referee then checks on the bloodied Kathy and quickly calls for the bell. Ricky Simms - Kathy didn't submit there. She was out cold. Henry Lesher - Either way, it's over and I thank Sammy Jo and Missy for that. Myst exits the ring and then makes her way up the ramp. The crowd boos and she watches the replay on the big screen hanging above the stage. Myst shakes her head when she sees the chair shot by Sammy Jo and she storms off. We then look backstage where Neriah Sweet is with Q. Neriah Sweet - Q, it's nice to see you here. Q - Well, I would say it's nice to be here, but... you know. Neriah Sweet - It's been sometime since we have seen you. Q - Yeah and there are reasons for that. Neriah Sweet - Who are you picking to win the match coming up between Vigilante and Dante? Q - Those are two reasons I am sitting outside watching tonight. Neriah Sweet - Okay... your reaction to the Myst-Kathy ending there. Q - I really could care less about recycling the divas out there. I am here to make an appearance and I have made it. There is little benefit in me doing anything further.
Q then wanders off while Neriah looks lost and then shrugs
towards the camera. Ricky Simms - Well, these two remember their previous fights well, apparently. Henry Lesher - These are two men, Rick, and this is how men fight. Rule book be damned! Dante plants a boot on Vigilante's throat while Steve Blake unties the audio cable from the guard railing and then proceeds to remove it from Vigilante's ankles. He then shoves Dante off of Vigilante and points to the ring. Dante reluctantly rolls himself into the ring while Steve asks Vigilante if he is well enough to continue. Vigilante nods while choking for air. He then glares at Dante inside the ring while he pulls himself onto the ring apron and then finally steps through the ropes into the ring which allows the referee to finally call for the bell to start the match. Vigilante kicks Dante in the gut as they move in for a lock up. Vigilante then rakes Dante's eyes along the top rope before punching him in the throat. The referee warns Vigilante about his tactics and Vig goes on a minor tirade about what just happened to him. Referee Steve Blake shrugs and backs off. Ricky Simms - Apparently the referee is going to let these two just fight it out. Henry Lesher - That's how every match should be, Rick. Vigilante places Dante's throat over the middle rope and chokes him with it. Dante answers with a series of elbows to the ribs and then he thumbs Vigilante in the eye. Dante then starts trading punches with Vigilante in the ropes. Vigilante answers with a kick to the gut which sends Dante through the ropes and out to the floor while the fans cheer. Vigilante goes to the ropes and climbs to the top rope. Dante gets to his feet and Vigilante leaps off. Vigilante goes for a double axe handle smash, but Dante catches him and drives him face first into the guard railing. Dante then picks Vigilante up and slams him to the floor. Dante then reaches under the ring apron and pulls out a kendo stick. He slaps the floor with it, a smirk crossing his face. He rears back and then slaps Vigilante across the back with it. He repeats this while the fans again start a chant for Vig. Ricky Simms - the fans are really behind James Justice tonight. Henry Lesher - That's because they don't appreciate how awesome Dante is. Dante stands Vigilante up and rolls him into the ring before doing the same himself. He still has the kendo stick in his grasp and an evil grin crosses his face while he slaps the mat with it. Vigilante gets to his hands and knees and Dante swings the kendo stick. Vigilante grabs it and butts Dante in the nose with it, busting him open. Vigilante then pulls the kendo stick from Dante's grasp and now he's the one smiling. He drills Dante between the eyes with it and then clotheslines him to the mat with it. Vigilante then drills Dante in the ribs with it before breaking it over Dante's back while he tries to roll away from the attack. Vigilante tosses the broken weapon from the ring and then stands Dante up, whips him off the ropes and backdrops him to the mat. He then lands a leg drop to the throat on Dante before hooking the leg for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Dante. Ricky Simms - I thought Vigilante had him there. Henry Lesher - Not a chance. Not with a leg drop. Vigilante stands Dante up, whips him off the ropes and both men clothesline each other to the mat. The referee starts counting them down and we see The Flock come out onto the stage. The crowd boos as Dragon, SinMan and Ash pose together and then laugh as they look down on Dante and Vigilante inside the ring. We then see security forces coming out onto the stage and they have trouble restraining the Flock, who say they are only out here to watch the action. While they are shoved towards the back, Vigilante and Dante both get to their hands and knees. They start trading punches which stops the count. Vigilante then elbows Dante in the head and then gives him a headbutt. Vigilante then gets all the way to his feet and lines Dante up for a punt. He charges and Dante catches his raised foot and then places him in an ankle lock submission hold. Ricky Simms - Excellent reversal by Dante. Henry Lesher - Well, he is Dante after all. He uses his mind, something many of these guys don't have. Vigilante grabs the bottom rope and then kicks Dante off of him. He then kicks Dante in the ribs before he then picks dante up and slams him to the mat. Vigilante then goes to the ropes and makes his way to the second rope. Vigilante leaps off and lands a scissor kick to the back of the neck on Dante. He then rolls him over for the pin. 1...2... Dante reverses the pin into a small package. 1...2... kick out by Vigilante. Dante then rolls himself out to the floor. Vigilante rolls himself out after Dante. Dante reaches under the ring and pulls a cinder block out. He then turns and kicks Vigilante in the gut before giving him a DDT onto the cinder block. He then rolls Vigilante into the ring before doing the same himself and then goes for the pin. 1...2...3! Dante scores the win. Ricky Simms - Well, he needed a cinder block, but Dante gets the win here. Henry Lesher - Who cares what he needed? He won. Dante heads out of the ring and we look backstage where Ingee Shmelky is with the members of The Flock. Ingee Shmelky - Well, you weren't invited, so why are you guys here? Dragon - You know, we see all the old boys getting together and we feel left out. SinMan - We put this company on the map and we know it. The 420 Flock was controversy and we almost burned this company to the ground. Ash - When we're here, everyone takes notice. Ingee Shmelky - Well, security took notice. Dragon - If the CWA is wanting to go back in time, we will be there to remind them that not everything was rosy and wonderful back then. Sometimes, it was ugly and not all of us played nice. SinMan - I never played nice. Ash - And I beat damned near everyone you have on this show tonight.
The Flock then storm off and we return to the ring. Ricky Simms - Apparently, this is a falls count anywhere affair as these two again fight in a parking lot. Henry Lesher - It's nice to see Max get the hell beat out of him by Leech again. Leech gathers himself and starts after Max. Max kicks Leech in the gut, gets to his feet and then the two start trying to choke each other out. Max headbutts Leech and then backdrops him onto the hood of a nearby car. Max then climbs up onto the hood of the car and sets Leech for a DDT. Leech instead raises up and backdrops Max onto the pavement. Leech then slips off the car and starts putting the boots to Max. Leech then stands Max up and pulls him back towards the building, then rams Max's head into the steel door. Max answers with a knee to the gut on Leech and then clotheslines him to the pavement. Ricky Simms - This can't go on for long with the punishment these two are dishing out. This is brutal. Henry Lesher - I know and you can shut up and enjoy it. Max picks Leech up and runs him towards a light post. Leech slips off of Max's shoulder and then rams his head into the post instead. He then picks Max up and slams him to the pavement before going for the pin. 1...2... Max rolls a shoulder out. Leech then stands Max up and pulls him through the parking lot and into a water fountain. Leech then tries to stick Max's head underwater, but Max gives Leech a series of elbows to the jaw instead and then Max places Leech's face in a jet of water streaming upwards. Ricky Simms - My God, they're trying to drown each other. Henry Lesher - Like I said, enjoy it and shut up. Leech elbows Max in the ribs and manages to get free from the water. He then clotheslines Max down into the fountain, causing a large splash. Leech then places Max in a headlock and drags him out of the fountain and back towards the building. He pulls Max all the way through the parking lot and opens the door before Max then picks Leech up and slams him onto a table just inside the hallway. Max then climbs up onto the table himself. He sets Leech for a DDT, but Leech again raises up and he backdrops Max to the hallway floor. Leech then jumps off the table and lands a knee drop to the forehead on Max before going for another pin attempt. 1...2... Max kicks out. Ricky Simms - Both men are exhausted already. Henry Lesher - That's what happens when it's a real brawl. Leech stands Max up, then pulls him down the hall to the locker room. He then takes a series of punches to the kidneys from Max who then rams Leech's head into the locker room door. Max then pulls Leech into the locker room and then bulldogs him onto the nearby bench before going for the pin. 1...2... Leech kicks out and Max slaps the floor. Max has unkind words for the referee before standing Leech up. Leech then gives Max a series of forearm smashes to the jaw before giving him a DDT to the bench. Leech then goes for the pin. 1...2...3! Leech secures the win over Max Cameron! Ricky Simms - Wow, what a brawl. Henry Lesher -One which Leech one. I called that. There is no way he could allow what happened last year to be his final wrestling moment. That just could not happen. Leech collapses next to Max Cameron and then we look to another area backstage where Neriah Sweet is with Tony Parizi. He's grinning from ear to ear. Neriah Sweet - I understand you have something to announce? Tony Parizi - Twenty years ago, there was competition for the Originals to choose from. I am bringing that back. Neriah Sweet - What do you mean? Tony Parizi - I have purchased the rights to an old name. I intend to bring back the Lords of the Ring Wrestling League, and I am going to have some big names come in for me. Neriah Sweet - Another company? Tony Parizi - Yeah, that's how it works. Shannon may have run me out of here, but I am still in the business. The LRWL is starting up soon. Neriah Sweet - Against the CWA, against Overdrive? Tony Parizi - Nah, I don't work things that way. Just stay tuned.
Tony winks at Neriah and then walks off while we head back to the
ring. Ricky Simms - Two of the all-time greats clash in this one. Henry Lesher - I can't argue with you on that one actually. Dizz and Moose lock up in a test of strength. Moose gains the early advantage and starts to push Dizz backward. Dizz then starts to come back and appears to be gaining an advantage. Dizz then headbutts Moose and knees him in the gut before giving him a series of forearm upper cuts that drive him into the corner. Dizz then gives Moose a double under hook suplex to the middle of the ring where he then rolls Moose over and applies a camel clutch on Moose. Moose refuses to submit when asked by the referee even as Dizz leans back in the hold and tries to force a break. Moose then starts trying to push himself up in order to weaken the hold while the fans are torn on who they are cheering for here. Ricky Simms - The fans are as split as the odds on this one. Henry Lesher - At least they can both wrestle and aren't named Hoshi. Moose pushes himself up from the mat and pulls himself closer to the ropes and then lunges out, grabbing the bottom rope which forces the break. Dizz does break the hold, but quickly gets to his feet and starts putting the boots to Moose who rolls himself out to the floor in order to escape the onslaught and gather himself. Dizz then dives through the ropes and gives Moose a flying body press to the floor. Dizz then stands Moose up and runs him shoulder first into the steel guard railing which draws cheers from nearby fans. Dizz then stands Moose up and rolls him into the ring before doing the same himself. Dizz rakes Moose's eyes along the bottom rope and then stands him up. Moose knees Dizz in the gut and then rakes his eyes along the top rope, leaving both men partially blinded. Ricky Simms - This is almost the equivalent of a blindfold match now. Henry Lesher - Martel and Roberts, one match no one wants to see here tonight. Moose picks Dizz up and slams him to the mat and then knee drops him to the forehead. Moose then stands Dizz up, whips him off the ropes and clotheslines him down to the mat. Dizz then kips up to his feet only to take a spear back to the mat from Moose. Moose then gives Dizz an elbow smash to the throat before going for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Dizz. Moose then stands Dizz up, whips him into the corner buckle and then charges into a superkick to the chin from Dizz. Moose falls back to the mat and Dizz quickly scales the ropes. Dizz then goes for a moonsault, but Moose rolls out of the way and Dizz hits the mat instead. Moose then picks Dizz up for a Moosedriver, but Dizz fights his way off Moose's shoulder and then whips him through the ropes and again out to the floor. Ricky Simms - Dizz knew he was going for the finish and he avoided it. Henry Lesher - I can't take anything away from Dizz. He's almost good enough to be in Frank territory. Dizz then goes to the nearest corner and jumps to the top rope. He then leaps off the ropes and right into the arms of Moose who then places Dizz on his shoulder and gives him the Moosedriver on the floor. Moose then stands Dizz up and rolls him into the ring before doing the same himself. Moose then goes for the pin. 1...2... Dizz gets a foot on the bottom rope. Moose then stands Dizz up, whips him off the ropes and kicks him in the gut before picking him up for another Moosedriver. Dizz fights his way off of Moose's shoulder, knees him in the back and then whips Moose into the corner. Dizz then goes for a handspring into a back elbow, but Moose steps out of the way, knees Dizz in the chest and then picks him up and gives him a Moosedriver to the middle of the ring before going for the pin. 1...2...3! Moose gets the win over Dizz and the crowd cheers wildly. Ricky Simms - Very fair match, very clean and great finish there. Henry Lesher - Well, neither man is a true main event guy, but they are both close. Moose leans against the ropes and catches his breath. He then slowly stands Dizz up and the two men shake hands which brings applause from the fans. We then look backstage where an upset Max Cameron is with Sabrina Davidson. Sabrina Davidson - I understand you have something to say regarding your match with Leech tonight. Max Cameron - Leech got lucky. I expected the kitchen sink thrown at me and he stuck to basic moves. It threw me. Sabrina Davidson - You're complaining why? Max Cameron - I expected the man who swings dead cats around, not what I saw there. Sabrina Davidson - You wanted him to bring a dead cat? Max Cameron - You don't get it. Sabrina Davidson - I suppose I don't. Max Cameron - It will be a cold day in hell before I step into a CWA ring again. Sabrina Davidson - Are you sure this time? Max Cameron - What is it with you people?
Max storms off and Sabrina shakes her head while we head back to
the ring. Ricky Simms - Samson fires the opening shot in this title match. Henry Lesher - Noah is in over his head. He should just hand the belt over, be a man about it. Noah gets to his feet on the floor and paces there while the referee counts him out. Samson then drops and rolls himself out to the floor. He gets to his feet and takes a punch to the jaw from Noah who then runs him shoulder first into the steel ring steps. Noah then picks Samson up and slams him to the floor before the champ then rolls himself back into the ring. Samson slowly gets to his feet and then pulls himself onto the apron where he asks Vi if she is going to allow that kind of behavior. Samson then steps back into the ring and then locks up with Noah. He kicks Noah in the gut and then backs him into the corner where he lands a series of knee lifts to the gut on the champ. Samson then picks Noah up and slams him to the mat. Samson follows that up with a boot choke, using the top rope for added leverage. Ricky Simms - Samson wants the rules enforced when it suits him. Henry Lesher - He would be pretty stupid to want the rules enforced when it doesn't suit him, Rick. Samson releases the boot choke, stands Noah up and whips him off the ropes. Noah ducks a clothesline and then gives Samson an inverted neckbreaker to the mat before going for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Samson. Noah then stands Samson up and whips him into the corner buckle before giving him a hip toss to the center of the ring. Noah then applies a flying hammerlock on Samson and the referee checks for a submission. Samson refuses to give up and then manages to power his way out of the hold. Samson then kicks Noah in the gut before giving him a sidewalk slam to the mat where he goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Noah. Ricky Simms - Back and forth action here as Samson tries to get the title off of Noah. Henry Lesher - Well, it's just a matter of time really. Samson stands Noah up, whips him into the corner buckle and then gives him a shoulder block in the corner. Samson then sits Noah on the top rope and then climbs up himself, setting up a superplex. Noah manages to grab the top rope to stop the move and then he gives Samson a series of punches to the chest before shoving him down to the mat. Noah then stands on the top rope and then leaps off, landing a flying elbow smash to the chest on Samson before hooking the leg for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Samson. Noah then stands Samson up and whips him through the ropes and out to the floor. Noah then waits for Samson to stands before he gives him a baseball slide which sends Samson falling into the guard railing. Noah then gives Samson a series of punches and kicks while the referee tells them to bring this back into the ring. Ricky Simms - There is certainly no lack of feeling in this one. Henry Lesher - The kid knows he is overmatched. It's obvious. Noah stands Samson up and tolls him into the ring before doing the same himself. Noah then goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Samson. Noah then stands Samson up, whips him off the ropes and Samson ducks a clothesline and then lands a springboard bulldog into a pin attempt. 1...2... kick out by Noah. Samson then stands Noah up, whips him into the corner buckle and then goes for a shoulder block. Noah side steps that and rolls Samson into a school boy pin attempt. 1...2... Samson turns it over and into a small package, holding the bottom rope for added leverage. 1...2...3! Samson is the new world champion! Ricky Simms - Samson has done it! He chased the title for months and he's the champ. Henry Lesher - Fair and square. Ricky Simms - Sort of. He was holding the rope. Henry Lesher - He held it so he wouldn't fall over. Ricky Simms - What? Samson quickly exits the ring and grabs the title belt from the timekeeper's table. He starts up the ramp with it clutched to his chest. Noah then exits the ring and chases Samson up the ramp, onto the stage and then the two disappear into the backstage area while the fans boo the announcement of their new champion. We then looks backstage where Kathy Smith is seen heading out of her locker room home, her gear in a bag over her shoulder. She is surprised to find Myst at the door. Myst - I saw the replay. Kathy Smith - Good for you, I have to go. Myst - Look, I owe you a rematch. Missy and Sammy were out of line. Kathy Smith - So what? It's over with us. Myst - I also wanted to apologize for things getting how they have been. Kathy Smith - Okay, this is just getting weird. Myst - Let me finish. Kathy Smith - I normally would, but Shannon is on next and I have to find Noah as well. Myst - I'll find my son. That title win won't last long. Kathy Smith - What's your angle here, Myst? Myst - No angle, just looking out for people who matter in my life. Kathy Smith - Whatever.
Kathy storms off and we return to the ring for tonight's main
event. Rated R - Oh please, Shannon, you don't even believe in God, heaven or anything like that. You're lucky there anyway, since your father would be ashamed of you and what you're doing here tonight, exploiting his passing for your own gain. Shannon rushes down the ramp at full speed. He slips into the ring where Rated R greets him by cracking him in the forehead with the microphone while referee Steve Blake calls for the bell. Shannon battles to his feet despite the bleeding he is now experiencing and the obvious pain. He then eye gouges Rated R before whipping him hard into the corner buckle. Rated R staggers out of the corner and then face plants to the mat. Shannon knee drops Rated R to the back of the neck and then rolls him over for the early pin attempt. 1...2... kick out by Rated R. Ricky Simms - There is no lack of emotion here. Henry Lesher - Yes, but that's how it should be for every match. I just don't understand the fans hating Ryan for telling the truth. Shannon stands Rated R up, whips him off the ropes and then dropkicks him back down to the mat. Shannon then sets for a sharpshooter and the crowd cheers. As he tries to turn it over, Rated R shoves him off and then Rated R rolls himself out to the floor. Rated R paces on the floor while signaling for a timeout. Shannon rolls himself out after Rated R and takes a kick to the gut followed by a double axe handle smash to the back. Rated R then picks Shannon up and power slams him to the floor. Rated R then chokes Shannon on the floor while the referee is shouting at him to take it back into the ring. Rated R then stands Shannon up and whips him shoulder first into the steel corner post before rolling him back into the ring. Rated R then grabs a chair from ringside and then slides it into the ring before he slides into the ring as well. Ricky Simms - You had to know weapons would be used here. Henry Lesher - I had hoped so yes. Rated R then stands over Shannon as he picks up the chair. The referee gets in between Ryan and Shannon to prevent the chair shot. He threatens disqualification while Shannon slowly gets to his feet. Rated R then swings the chair, but Shannon ducks it, shoves the referee into Rated R and then kicks Rated R in the gut amid the confusion. Shannon then pries the chair from Rated R's grip and tosses it from the ring before he then clotheslines Rated R to the mat. Shannon then pulls Rated R to the middle of the ring and then quickly applies a figure four leglock on Ryan. The referee checks for a submission, but Rated R refuses to give up. Ricky Simms - Shannon is in control here after Ryan's desperate attempt to get himself disqualified. Henry Lesher - No, he just wanted to hurt Shannon. It's shameful that he is using his father's death to advance his company like this. Rated R struggles to turn the hold over. Shannon fights to hold him where he is while the referee continues to ask if Rated R gives up. Rated R refuses and keeps trying to turn the hold over to reverse the pressure. Rated R also crawls with his elbows closer to the ropes. He reaches out and almost grabs the bottom rope. He pulls once more and then manages to snag the bottom rope which forces a break of the hold. Rated R then scrambles out of the ring again. Shannon gets to his feet while Rated R then heads to the ramp and starts heading for the stage. Ricky Simms - It looks like Ryan is going to leave. Henry Lesher - He's too good for this crowd anyway. Shannon slips out to the floor and then charges after Ryan. The two start trading punches on the ramp and then Ryan thumbs Shannon in the eye before giving him a DDT on the steel ramp. Rated R then drags Shannon by the hair down to ringside and then rolls him into the ring before doing the same himself. Rated R then puts the boots to a bloodied Shannon before boot choking him. Rated R allows himself a smile towards the booing masses. He then picks Shannon up and slams him back down to the mat. Rated R then climbs the ropes in the corner. From the second rope, he launches himself and lands a knee drop to the back on Shannon before rolling him into a schoolboy pin attempt. 1...2... kick out by Shannon. Rated R then places Shannon's throat over the middle rope and chokes him with it while the referee again threatens to shorten this match. Ricky Simms - Ryan is really hard to figure out here, one minute trying to leave and the next so bloody cocky. Henry Lesher - He is more complex than the usual garbage the CWA has rolling around. Rated R breaks the choke, then stands Shannon up, whips him off the ropes and goes for a shoulder block which fails as they simply collide. Shannon then gives Rated R a series of knife edge chops to the chest and then gives him an inverted atomic drop and then whips Rated R into the corner buckle. Shannon then gives Rated R a running shoulder block in the corner before sitting him on the top rope. Shannon then climbs to the second rope and then pulls Rated R off and gives him a dalling neckbreaker from the top before going for the pin. 1...2...3! Shannon Skanes wins the match over Rated R tonight! He jumps to his feet and his arms are raised in victory. We then see Myst rushing down the ramp and slipping into the ring. She jumps to her feet and stands face to face with Shannon. They then embrace which draws cheers from the crowd and we see Kathy Smith applauding from the stage. Ricky Simms - Maybe the family is getting back together? Henry Lesher - I want to throw up. The lights then suddenly go out and the crowd is hushed. The arena is then filled with red light and we see Lord Orlock on the big screen over the stage. Lord Orlock - The night is finished and there has been no sighting of me? I found my voice and I am the future of this business. Shannon, you are the past. I will show the world very soon. I will become the world champion and I will start by ending your career. The lights throughout the arena come back as the image of Orlock turns to snow and then we see that Orlock is inside the ring. He grabs Shannon around the throat, picks him up and choke slams him to the mat. Orlock then looks over at Myst and smiles. She backs off a few steps. Orlock steps towards her and then Myst lands a series of rights and lefts to the head of the monster. Orlock then headbutts her down to the mat as Kathy Smith rushes into the ring with a chair in hand. She slams the chair over the back of Orlock, but he turns and kicks her in the chest, sending her falling back out to the floor. Orlock then grabs Myst by the throat and readies to pick her up. Kindred slips into the ring and chop blocks Orlock down to the mat. Kindred and Orlock then grapple on the mat while members of the Sensational Seven rush into the ring. Ricky Simms - A happy moment has been ruined by Orlock and now it's a total cluster in there. Henry Lesher - It's entertaining, seeing Orlock toss around these so called legends. I like the new Orlock. Kindred and Orlock brawl their way out to the floor while members of the Sensational Seven check on Shannon, Myst and Kathy to make sure that they are all right. We then see Samson watching this backstage and shaking his head. We wonder what he might be thinking, but the CWA logo then fills the screen before the show fades to black. |
