February 15th, 2009 We see the CWA logo and then we hear "Labyrinth" by Oomph to open this year's edition of Battle of the Warriors.
"Links - rechts - geradeaus Myst - Welcome to Battle of the Warriors 2009!
The shot then briefly turns to snow. Dizz - I was asked to be here tonight, as a part of Battle of the Warriors. I was reluctant because I haven't been around a wrestling ring in some time and... Moose walks into the picture and smirks. Moose - Interesting cameo. Dizz - Moose, nice title belt. Moose - I fought my ass off to get it. Dizz - I believe you. I heard you're fighting The Barber tonight. Moose - Gary Barber. Dizz - Oh... that's disappointing. The Barber was awesome. Vigilante then walks into the shot as well. Vigilante - Barber was a tosser. Dizz - Vig? Vigilante - *looks around* Where? Oh, right, you meant me. Hey, Moose has the belt. Moose - Yeah, I do. Vigilante - That must suck, having so many people after you at once. That's why I don't have the title right now. Moose - Last time you were here, I seem to remember beating you. Dizz - *chuckles* Man, it's a good thing I haven't been around then since I was always the toughest member of EOS. Vigilante - I remember things differently. Moose - I do, too. Dizz - No one could stop me when I was on my game. Vigilante - Yeah, you were tough every six months. Moose - That's harsh. Dizz was on at least twice that often. Dizz - Still we were heads and shoulders above the rest of this company. Vigilante - Who you defending against, Moose? Moose - Gary Barber. Vigilante - I'm out. Vig storms out of the picture. Dizz - He just can't get past it. Moose - He should stick around. I am turning Barber's lights out tonight. Dizz - Maybe an EOS reunion is in the works? Moose - No, I fight solo now. I don't hide behind others or let people fight my battles for me. I'm a champion.
Moose storms out of the shot and we head to
the ring. "C-Lebrity" by Paul Rodgers and Queen plays as the diva champ makes her way onto the stage, the crowd giving her a lukewarm response while she is followed out by Puckbunny Rose, Missy, Neriah Sweet, Mrs. Robinson, Kelly Buchanan, Bombshell, Kira Yakamoto and Tanja Michaels. Veronica reaches ringside and hands her title belt off to the timekeeper as she then rolls herself into the ring, her music fading. Rebella DeCesare then comes out onto the stage, "Super Massive Black Hole" by Muse playing which draws boos from the fans. She pays the fans no mind and quickly makes her way down the ramp to the ring. She slides under the bottom rope into the ring and referee Mary Sanderson calls for the bell to get the action officially underway. Ricky Simms - And with that, Battle of the Warriors 2009 is officially begun! Henry Lesher - Usually, this event starts with Shengee Shmelky starting his band again. I thought nothing could be worse, but I was wrong. Fans will want refunds unusually early tonight. Rebella and Veronica trade punches and kicks in the middle of the ring. Rebella backs Veronica into the ropes with a series of forearms to the jaw. Rebella then whips Veronica off the ropes and backdrops her to the mat. Rebella then stands Veronica up, whips her off the ropes and then gives her a dropkick to the mat. Rebella then stands on the hair on Veronica and pulls her arms up, tugging her hair in the same motion while the fans boo. Rebella releases Veronica before the referee can reach a five count and then stands Veronica up, taking a jawbreaker from Veronica who then gives Rebella a side Russian leg sweep to the mat before going for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Rebella. Veronica then stands Rebella up and whips her through the ropes and out to the floor. The lumberjills start putting the boots to her and Kira Yakamoto even whips her shoulder first into the steel ring post before Tanja Michaels rolls Rebella back into the ring. Ricky Simms - The girls at ringside make their presence felt. Henry Lesher - People are actually paying to watch this? I get more excitement out of those heavy load washers at the Laundromat that this. Don't we have a test pattern to show people at home? It should increase the buy rate. Veronica picks Rebella up and slams her to the mat and then goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Rebella. Veronica then stands her up and takes a knee to the gut from Rebella who then gives Veronica a hip toss to the mat and then applies a headlock on Veronica. Veronica gets to her feet and backs Rebella into the corner buckle. She then gives Rebella a shoulder block which breaks the headlock and then gives her a backdrop to the mat. Veronica then goes to the ropes in the corner and makes her way to the top rope. Rebella stands and Veronica goes for a flying cross body block, but Rebella catches her in mid air and spins her to the mat for a power slam into a pin attempt. 1...2... kick out by Veronica. Ricky Simms - Quick turn around there and we almost had a new champ. Henry Lesher - What's that? I wasn't paying attention. I was counting the bubbles in my Coke here. Great, now I have to start over. Rebella stands Veronica up, whips her off the ropes and Veronica ducks a clothesline and then whips Rebella out of the ring and right onto a few of the lumberjills at ringside. Veronica then launches herself through the ropes, landing a suicide dive onto Rebella and the lumberjills while the crowd cheers. Veronica then stands Rebella up and rams her head into the guard railing. Kelly Buchanan then trips Veronica to the floor which causes Tanja Michaels and Kira Yakamoto to land a double spear on Buchanan, sending her crashing to the floor. Veronica and Rebella both roll themselves into the ring while the lumberjills continue to fight outside on the floor. Rebella goes for a small package pin attempt on Veronica. 1...2... Veronica reverses it into a pin attempt. 1...2... kick out by Rebella. Rebella then gets to her feet and waits for Veronica to stand before giving her an inziguri to the back of the head and then a facebuster to the mat before she goes for the pin. 1...2...3! Rebella DeCesare has won the match and the CWA Diva title as well. Ricky Simms - Rebella wins! New champ! Henry Lesher - Can the event start now? Are we done with the garbage fest? As Rebella is handed the title and the lumberjills continue to fight at ringside, we suddenly hear "Somebody Told Me" by The Killers and Wyatt Gibson comes out to loud boos from the crowd. Wyatt Gibson - Well, Rebella, that's quite the belt you have won there. Fact is, the diva division looks good on paper, but there is a problem. In the face of cutbacks, we have to focus people on their goals and set importance where it should be. Rebella, you will be remembered as the last diva champ as that title belt is no longer recognized as a CWA title. In fact, we are working on creating a new title, but that's not to be discussed right now. Enjoy your win, Rebella. The belt is all yours. Wyatt leaves to continued boos from the crowd while the divas are stunned at what they have just heard. Henry Lesher - There are sixty-four bubbles in my Coke. Ricky Simms - That's a lot of bubbles.
Henry Lesher - Yeah, I got the big one. Rated R - Oh, now what? Ashley Skanes - I cannot believe you. Rated R - What is it with your family and melodrama? Ashley Skanes - What happened between us was... Rated R - Look, I am not babysitting your hurt feelings. I didn't do it two years ago and I am not doing it now. Ashley Skanes - Why are you trying to destroy my family? Rated R - Oh, you don't need my help. Myst threw Shannon out while I was gone. Myst alienated everyone without my help. Shannon lost everything and you became virtually unseen on TV, much like your brother. Ashley Skanes - I just don't know why you came back. Rated R - I came back because this company needs me. Ashley, if you really take an honest look around, you'll see that everyone needs me around here. At this point, even you and Myst cannot argue with that. Ashley Skanes - My father is going to bury you tonight. Rated R - No, dear, you have that backwards. Your father has been burying himself for ages. I am here to finish the job he started. He's done a fine job of it, too.
Rated R moves on and Ashley is left to
shake her head. "Stronger" by Kanye West plays as Shelia Lavin leads Helena and Eliza onto the stage, the crowd giving them a solid ovation. Shelia then leads her two tag team partners down the ramp towards the ring before she pulls herself onto the apron and then steps through the ropes into the ring. Their music then fades and we hear "Like Me" by Girlicious and Sammy Jo Johnson leads the way, Chastity and Ophelia following close behind her. They quickly make their way down the ramp, also getting a solid reaction from the crowd. Sammy Jo then pulls herself onto the ramp and steps through the ropes into the ring while her partners take their place in their corner. Referee Casey Braun calls for the bell and Shelia has a few words with Sammy Jo. Ricky Simms - Match number two of the night is underway and should be a good one. Henry Lesher - If you say so. I mean, I don't see any hope for this event at all. Shelia and Sammy Jo lock up in the middle of the ring. Sammy Jo backs Shelia up to the ropes. The referee asks for a clean break and both Sammy Jo and Shelia thumb each other in the eye. Blinded, they both go to their corners and tags in Eliza and Ophelia. They storm into the ring and start trading rights and lefts while the fans cheer. Eliza whips Ophelia through the ropes and out to the floor and then drops and rolls herself out after Ophelia. Eliza slams Ophelia's head into the guard railing and then picks her up and slams her to the floor and then gives her a leg drop across the throat. Eliza then stands Ophelia up and rolls her into the ring before rolling herself in where she goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Ophelia. Ricky Simms - This Eliza girl is vicious as Shelia warned. Henry Lesher - I would be ticked off if I had to hang around with divas all day, too. Eliza stands Ophelia up, whips her into a neutral corner and goes for a shoulder block there, but runs into raised knees to the face from Ophelia who them climbs to the second rope and gives Eliza a double axe handle smash to the back. Ophelia then pulls Eliza to the middle of the ring and starts to apply a figure four leglock, but Shelia charges into the ring and clothesline Ophelia to the mat. While the referee escorts Shelia from the ring, Helena enters the ring and knees Ophelia in the head. Helena then ducks back out of the ring while the referee has words with her. Eliza then gets a double clothesline to the mat from Chastity and Sammy Jo. Ricky Simms - The referee has no hope of controlling this match. Henry Lesher - There's no hope for this to become interesting either. The referee clears Chastity and Sammy Jo from the ring and then starts counting Eliza and Ophelia down. On the four count, Eliza then rolls to her corner and tags in Helena. Helena enters the ring and knees Ophelia in the back before she can make the tag. Helena then stands Ophelia up, whips her into a neutral corner and then gives her a handspring back elbow to the jaw before giving her a snap mare to the middle of the ring. Helena then dropkicks Ophelia in the back before she goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Ophelia. Helena then stands Ophelia up, whips her off the ropes and Ophelia ducks a clothesline before giving Helena a swinging neckbreaker to the mat. Ophelia then crawls to her corner and tags in Chastity. Chastity enters the ring and puts the boots to Helena. Shelia then enters the ring and clotheslines Chastity to the mat. The referee then starts shoving Shelia to her corner while Eliza rolls herself into the ring with a chair in hand. Eliza clocks Chastity with the chair, then goes to the Glamour Girls' corner and does the same to Ophelia while Sammy Jo drops off the apron and then pulls the feet out from under Eliza, pulling her out to the floor where they start brawling while Helena goes for the cover. 1...2...3! Team Lavin scores the win this week. Ricky Simms - Eliza aids her team out of sight of the ref. I believe ring announcer Kathy Smith actually tossed the chair to her. It appears she's still a little sore about them turning on her. Henry Lesher - She should have tossed it in there before the match started and spared me that garbage.
Team Lavin retreats up the ramp, their arms
raised in victory while the fans boo. Myst - Yes? Wyatt Gibson enters the office, a nervous smile on his face. Myst - What do you want? Wyatt Gibson - I wanted to talk to you about your decision to end the Diva Title. Myst - Is there a problem with my decision? Wyatt Gibson - Well, it would seem with new divas here that the CWA could use that title. Myst - No, it's useless. I may donate it to Pyro. Maybe Leech can beat the crap out of Max with it later tonight. I really don't care either way. Wyatt Gibson - We haven't talked about the new title. Myst - I haven't finalized my plans for the new title yet. Of course, then there's the tag title problem. Wyatt Gibson - Problem? Myst - How many times have the tag titles been defended in the past year? Wyatt Gibson - Not many. Myst - They're as popular as Boom right now. Wyatt Gibson - You'd dissolve the tag titles? Myst - Every title in this company should be such that every member who doesn't have the title is willing to do anything it takes to get the gold. If the interest isn't there for the wrestlers, it certainly isn't there for the fans. It's all about making money. The more hotly contested the titles are, the more money I make. Wyatt Gibson - Oh, I wanted to talk to you about security. Leech and Max have a history of things getting really violent and I could see the same happening between Shannon and Ryan. Shouldn't we increase ringside security for those matches? Myst - *scowls* That costs me more money, but sure. I can't afford for a fan to get hurt and sue us either. Wyatt Gibson - Also, since my sister was fired, I have heard rumblings that I could be next. Myst - No, Wyatt, I still have use for you. You're safe for now. Wyatt Gibson - That's somewhat comforting.
Myst - *shrugs* People who believe their
jobs are safe get lazy. No one in the CWA is safe, hence no one is
lazy. "Voices" by Rev Theory plays as Malk makes his way onto the stage to the cheers of the crowd. He then starts to make his way down the ramp towards the ring, but he is attacked from behind by Daniel McCoy who chop blocks Malk to the steel ramp and then he places him in an ankle lock submission hold while referee Mark Davis rushes out and calls for the bell to officially start the match. Ricky Simms - Fall count anywhere in this one without rules. Henry Lesher - It's nice to see an actual match showed up tonight. It's been awhile since we've seen one. Malk refuses to submit to the hold by McCoy and rolls onto his back before kicking McCoy in the chest and sending him falling off of the ramp to the floor. Malk then gets to his feet and jumps off the ramp, giving McCoy a double axe handle smash across the back. Malk then picks McCoy up and power slams him to the floor before going for the early pin. 1...2... kick out by McCoy. Malk then stands McCoy up, whips him into the steel guard railing shoulder first and then gives him a fall away slam to the floor before he again goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out again by McCoy. Malk then stands McCoy up, pulls him by the hair to the audio area and slams his head into an amp. Malk then grabs an audio cable and wraps it around the throat of Daniel McCoy, trying to choke him out with it. Ricky Simms - Malk has snapped here. Henry Lesher - Maybe someone showed him footage of his matches in the CWA prior to this one. I know that would drive me insane. McCoy grabs a length of audio cable as well and then starts whipping Malk with it to weaken the choke hold. Malk's hold does weaken and McCoy gives Malk a fireman's carry into a side slam onto a mixing board which causes a loud crackle over the audio system and the fans cheer. McCoy then pulls Malk off of the mixing board by the hair and then gives him a snap suplex to the floor before he goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Malk. McCoy then stands Malk up, then sets up and delivers another snap suplex to the floor which appears to hurt both men. They both lie on the floor grasping at their backs while the referee counts them both down. Ricky Simms - They have to answer the ten count or this one is over fast. Henry Lesher - A great match doesn't have to go on forever, much like your nights with the wife. Daniel McCoy gets to his feet in time to break up the count and then puts the boots to Malk. Malk answers by pulling the feet out from under McCoy and then gives him a series of forearm upper cuts on the floor. Malk then gets to his feet and drags McCoy by the feet out through the audio area into the backstage area. He stands McCoy up and slams his head into the wall and then shoves him into a janitor's closet before heading in after him. Ricky Simms - McCoy is in the closet. Henry Lesher - No he isn't. Malk picks up a mop and breaks it over McCoy's back. McCoy then gives Malk a low blow and then picks up a metal mop bucket and slams Malk over the head with it. McCoy slams the mop bucket across Malk's skull a second time, a third time and a fourth time which finally brings Malk to the floor. McCoy tosses the bucket to the floor and goes for the pin on Malk. 1...2... kick out by Malk. McCoy then stands Malk up, pulls him into the hallway and then gives him a bulldog to the floor. McCoy goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Malk. McCoy slaps the floor and tells the referee that should have been a three count. He then shakes his head as he stands Malk up and Malk gives McCoy a knee to the gut followed by a vertical suplex in the hallway. Again, both men are down and the referee starts to count. Ricky Simms - This is a brutal match up. Henry Lesher - I am so glad real wrestling is on the show now. This is what people pay to see. Malk gets to his feet first, breaking the referee's count. Malk then places Daniel McCoy in a headlock and gives him a DDT to the floor. Malk then rolls McCoy over for the pin. 1...2...3! Malk gets the win over Daniel McCoy. He stands over McCoy as the referee raises his arm. Malk then stands McCoy up and pulls him out through a nearby door that leads to the parking lot. Ricky Simms - This match is over. What is Malk doing? Henry Lesher - Boys and girls, those twigs you heard snapping were actually the last remnants of sanity in Malk's brain. This is resting on the idea that Malk actually has a brain, of course. Malk - It's time to reveal a secret I have hidden for sometime now. It's time to let the world know what I know. McCoy finds the strength to low blow Malk and then gives him a DDT to the concrete while security rushes out to settle this one down. Ricky Simms - What the hell was he going to tell us?
Henry Lesher - Well, he did come out of the
closet with McCoy. Missy - Lauren, I understand you're against your husband wrestling here tonight. Lauren Strong - I am very opposed to it and I have people here to ensure that he is not hurt further. Missy - Who? Lauren Strong - I knew he could not resist the pull of Battle of the Warriors, so I brought in people who know that and understand him. I... The interview is interrupted as Sammy Jo Johnsons steps into the shot. Sammy Jo Johnson - Hey, Missy, what the hell is up with your dyke friend there? Missy - I am conducting an interview. Sammy Jo Johnson - No one cares. Look, you tell Kathy to stay out of our business or we will make a point of getting into hers and maybe put her out of work. Missy - You already got what you wanted. What more is there? Sammy Jo Johnson - *smiles* Oh, there is so much that the Glamour Girls want. If you or Kathy interfere in our business, you'll find out and it won't be pretty. *looks at Lauren* What the hell are you looking at? Lauren Strong - Not much. Sammy Jo Johnson - You take care of your crippled husband and stay out of our business or you might need an extra cane in that house.
Sammy exits, leaving both Missy and Lauren
shaking their heads. "The Imperial March" by Metallica plays as Eternity makes his way onto the stage, the crowd greeting him with loud boos. He makes his way down the ramp towards the ring with an arrogant smirk on his face. He then pulls himself onto the apron and then steps through the ropes into the ring. His music fades and then we hear "Engine No. 9" by The Deftones and the crowd cheers as Hammer emerges onto the stage. He points at Eternity inside the ring and then runs down the ramp to ringside before sliding under the bottom rope into the ring where he and Eternity start brawling while referee Rob Rai calls for the bell. Ricky Simms - I understand this match has been declared a table match. The first man to put the other through a table is the winner. Henry Lesher - I am glad you clarified that. Eternity stands Hammer up and whips him through the ropes and out to the floor. Eternity then drops and rolls himself out to the floor where he takes an eye gouge from Hammer who then rams Eternity's forehead into the guard railing. Hammer then gives Eternity a kick to the back and a punch to the jaw before giving him a drop toe hold to the floor. Hammer then reaches under the ring and pulls out a table. Eternity gets to his feet and spears Hammer against the ring apron before he has a chance to set up the table. Eternity then picks Hammer up over his shoulder and runs him face first into the steel corner post. Eternity then gives Hammer a power slam to the floor. Ricky Simms - Eternity is in full control right now. Henry Lesher - Well, Hammer hasn't wrestled since 1997 so he's a little rusty. Eternity goes to the table on the floor and starts to set it up. Hammer slowly gets to his feet as Eternity finishes setting up the table. Hammer kicks Eternity in the back and then gives him a side Russian leg sweep to the floor as we see JC Michaels rushing to ringside. JC attacks Hammer and puts the boots to him before he has a chance to stand. He then stands Hammer up and rolls him into the ring before he rolls himself into the ring. JC places Hammer in a sleeper hold while Eternity rolls himself into the ring, again smirking as if this is going to plan. Ricky Simms - It must be nice to have back up as Eternity does here and, since this is a table match, there is no DQ. Henry Lesher - Apparently, Hammer hasn't used his brain since 1997 either. The crowd cheers as Tommy Purr rushes down the ramp and slides into the ring. He pulls JC off of Hammer and starts brawling with him. Eternity then gives Tommy a clothesline to the back of the head that sends him face first to the mat. Eternity then goes to Hammer and tries to apply a sleeper, but Hammer gives him a snap mare to the mat. Hammer then turns his attention to JC Michaels and gives him a clothesline to the mat before he goes back to Eternity, then backs him to the ropes before whipping him into a collision with JC. Hammer then gives Eternity a German suplex to the mat and then rolls himself out of the ring to retrieve the table. Ricky Simms - It's complete carnage in this one right now, Hammer looking to finish it. Henry Lesher - Well, I imagine he has the stamina of a Shmelky after this amount of time off. Hammer pulls a second table out from under the ring and slides it into the ring, then rolls himself back in. He starts setting it up, but takes a double axe handle smash across the back from JC. JC then picks Hammer up, but Tommy Purr chop blocks JC to the mat and Hammer falls to the mat and away from the table. Eternity uses the ropes to get to his feet and then goes to Hammer and starts landing punches and kicks on him. Hammer knees Eternity in the gut and picks him up for a power bomb, but Eternity headlocks Hammer and then gives him a DDT right through the table which causes the referee to calls for the bell. Ricky Simms - Eternity wins! This is the first time he has beaten Hammer! Henry Lesher - Maybe he can beat Brutus Beefcake next. Ricky Simms - This might bode well for Max Cameron as he fight for his contract later tonight against a man he has never beaten. Henry Lesher - If Max beats Leech, I'll step into that ring and call him the greatest wrestler who ever lived. Ricky Simms - That's quite the claim. Henry Lesher - It will never happen.
Eternity and JC exit the ring and head for
the back while Tommy Purr looks on and tells JC he'll see him again
later tonight. Crystal Braun - I am here with the man, Vesuvius, on the glorious night of Battle of the Warriors. Your many fans want to know what you have to say. Vesuvius - I am worried, Crystal. Scavenger is a hurting man and he's fighting in a big one tonight. I have to protect him. Crystal Braun - You are a hero. Everyone knows that. Vesuvius - I came out here asking for heroes to step forward. What's happened? Rated R came back and Leech is here. That's not heroic in any reality. Crystal Braun - We are lucky to have you here. Vesuvius - Tonight, I will do what must be done. Not since I destroyed Simon in a glass chamber match has this company needed me more. Crystal Braun - That was a tremendous win for you. Vesuvius - Yes, a match which was then edited so I appeared to have lost. I am a hero, no matter how people may revise history. I will prove it tonight. Crystal Braun - May God give you the strength you need to succeed. Vesuvius - Haven't you heard, Crystal? God is dead. I am applying for the job.
Crystal Braun - No man could possibly stop
you. The camera shows a close up of a six foot deep hole in a corner of the stage. There is a large mound of dirt next to it, a shovel placed in the middle of the dirt itself. The crowd cheers as this is seen on the big screen and then we hear "Motherfucker of the Year" by Motley Crue as Shannon Skanes makes his way onto the stage. He makes his way down the ramp to the ring, tonight wearing a black T-shirt, blue jeans and cowboy boots in place of the usual wrestling garb. He then pulls himself onto the apron and then steps through the ropes into the ring while his music fades and then we hear "I Hate Everything About You" by Three Days Grace and the crowd has a mixed reaction to Rated R as he steps out onto the stage. He pauses and steps over to the hole in the stage and peers down into it. He smiles and then resumes his walk to the ring. He is also wearing street clothes in place of wrestling tights. Shannon then drops and rolls himself out to the floor and starts trading punches with Rated R as referee Steve Blake calls for the bell. Ricky Simms - To call this a grudge match would be a dramatic understatement. Henry Lesher - Well, hatred makes for good matches and this is no exception. Shannon runs Rated R head first into the steel ring steps. He then picks Rated R up and slams him on those same steps. Shannon then climbs onto the apron and gives Rated R a leg drop across the throat from there, sending him sprawling to the floor. Shannon then stands over Rated R and puts the boots to him while the fans cheer. Shannon then grabs one of Rated R's boots and starts pulling him up the ramp, ready to end this early if he has to. On the stage, Shannon stands Rated R up and prepares to give him a vertical suplex into the grave. Rated R then knees Shannon in the gut and shoves him towards the grave, but Shannon side steps it and then takes a spear right off the stage and to the floor below from Rated R. Rated R then stands on the stage over a crumpled Shannon Skanes and nods his head. Ricky Simms - Ryan is pleased with himself as he has apparently injured Shannon here. Henry Lesher - I would be pleased, too. Ryan jumps off the stage to the floor below and then grabs Shannon by the hair and pulls him to his feet. He then whips Shannon into one of the steel supports for the stage. Rated R then gives Shannon a belly to belly overhead suplex to the floor. Rated R gets to his feet and then stands on the chest of the former CWA owner for a few moments. He then stands Shannon up and whips him into the steel support for the stage again. Shannon answers with a thumb to the eye on Rated R and then rams his head into the steel support he was just slammed against. Shannon then picks Rated R up and slams him to the floor. He then makes his way down the side of the ramp, grabbing at his back as he does so. Shannon reaches the foot of the ramp and then turns and starts heading back up while Rated R is not in pursuit. Rated R turns the corner and then runs at Shannon and tackles him in the back, sending him face first to the ramp. Rated R then picks Shannon up over his shoulder and starts carrying him towards the stage. Shannon fights his way down and shoves Rated R in the back and then pulls his feet out from under him, sending him head first to the ramp. Ricky Simms - They're both going to be badly bruised after this one. Henry Lesher - Like I said, hate is good. Let's give it up for hate. Shannon places Rated R in a Boston Crab on the ramp and the crowd cheers while Rated R screams in pain. The referee stands back and watches, submissions being useless in this match of course. Shannon holds on to Rated R as Ryan screams in pain and appears to be tapping out. Rated R then starts to slowly push himself up from the ramp and reaches back for Shannon. Rated R then starts to reverse the hold and, sensing this, Shannon releases it and then turns and gives Rated R a kick to the ribs and then pulls him up the ramp to the stage for the second time in this match. Shannon stands Rated R up and takes a headbutt from Rated R who then whips Shannon into the stage's backdrop. Rated R then gives Shannon an inverted DDT to the stage. He then pulls Shannon over to the grave on the stage. He stands over him for a few moments and smiles, the crowd booing him. Ricky Simms - It didn't take long for the fans to start hating Ryan again. Henry Lesher - They're jealous of his greatness. Rated R picks Shannon up and then goes for the slam, but Shannon struggles free and lands on his feet next to the grave and he throws Rated R head first into it instead. Shannon then takes hold of the shovel and starts to shovel dirt onto Rated R, but Ryan quickly pulls himself out of the grave and takes a shovel to the face from Shannon. Rated R answers with a trip on Shannon, then grabs the shovel from his grasp. Rated R slams the handle across the forehead of Shannon Skanes and then uses it as a crutch to pull himself to his feet. Ricky Simms - These men aren't trying to win a match here. They are trying to end each other. Henry Lesher - That's the idea, yeah. By the way, the right guy is winning. Rated R slams the shovel across the back of Shannon repeatedly and then starts choking him with it. Rated R then picks Shannon up and slams him to the steep stage and then jabs the shovel into his ribs five times before kicking him in the head and sending him into the grave. Rated R then tosses the shovel aside and starts using his hands and feet to pile the dirt into the hole while the crowd boos. Once the hole is filled, the referee calls for the bell and the match is declared over with Rated R as the winner. He raises his hands and nods his head while the fans boo. Ricky Simms - Rated R has buried Shannon Skanes! Henry Lesher - We won't be seeing him for awhile. You have to love the glee he took in burying him with his bare hands.
Ricky Simms - I don't know that I have to
love that exactly. Ray Dees - Gary, tonight you get your shot at the title after waiting months for it. Your thoughts? Gary Barber - I came here a long time ago now. It feels like forever and finally, the EVC gets its chance to run the show. Tonight Moose steps aside and I become the champ. He can play around backstage with Dizz and Vigilante all he wants to. He can claim he fights alone and I respect that. He can lose alone, too. Ray Dees - Do you see this match going the full three falls? Gary Barber - No, I don't. That means I would see myself being pinned at some point tonight. That will not happen. Ray Dees - Your reaction to Eternity's win over Hammer? Gary Barber - It was the right result. It was further proof of what the EVC can do. We will dominate and, when we do, our enemies will be even more screwed than they are now. We won't be caged or sent away. Ray Dees - Do you have any comment on the burial of Shannon Skanes which we just witnessed? Gary Barber - That match didn't affect the EVC, so I have no comment as it doesn't matter to us. Ray Dees - Well, good luck. Gary Barber - Not needed when you're the most talented one in the ring.
Barber exits the room and we head back to
the ring. "Halls of Fear" by Nino Rota plays as Sal Clemenzo comes out to loud cheers from the crowd. He pauses on stage, waiting for Cassandra O'Shea to follow him. He then walks down the ramp towards the ring with her, arm in arm. He pauses at ringside and then has a few words with O'Shea before he pulls himself onto the ring apron and then steps through the ropes into the ring. His music fades and we hear "Stem" by Crossbreed as Shadow makes his way onto the stage which draws boos from the crowd. Shadow makes his way down the ramp towards the ring and points into the ring at Sal and has words with him while pulling himself onto the apron. Shadow then steps through the ropes into the ring and they continue to argue while his music fades and then we hear "My Girlfriend's Girlfriend" by Type O Negative and the crowd cheers as Scavenger limps his way onto the stage. He smiles and waves to the fans before he hobbles his way down the ramp towards the ring. Lauren Strong then rushes out onto the stage and down the ramp, heading Scavenger's walk to the ring off at a pass. They begin to argue. Ricky Simms - Lauren doesn't want him in the ring. He has not been medically cleared to wrestle, but he continues to try. Henry Lesher - This is what happens when stupid people become wrestlers. Let him get killed, Lauren. He is hardly worth it. Scavenger tries to move past Lauren and finds himself face to face with Laura Strong, the one known as Candy from Anarchy Inc. She starts to srgue with him on the ramp as well. He points towards something in the crowd and both women turn their heads, giving Scavenger the chance to run as well as he can to the ring. He slips under the bottom rope into the ring and referee Mark Davis calls for the bell to get the action started. Shadow and Sal start trading rights and lefts while Scavenger uses the ropes to get to his feet and steady himself. Shadow whips Sal right to Scavenger and Scavenger gives Sal a clothesline to the mat before going for the surprise pin attempt. 1...2... Shadow pulls Scavenger off of Sal and then places him in a figure four leglock. Ricky Simms - This is what they were worried about, further damage to the knee. Henry Lesher - Like I said, he's an idiot. Vesuvius emerges from the crowd and rolls himself into the ring. He pulls Scavenger free of the leglock and then puts the boots to Shadow. The referee then motions for Vesuvius to exit the ring and informs the ring announcer of something. Kathy Smith - The referee has declared Scavenger both disqualified and unfit to continue in this match. Ricky Simms - I can't argue the call, but I feel bad for Scavenger. Henry Lesher - He's a dolt. He shouldn't have been out here in the first place. Myst must enjoy seeing him get beat up. Vesuvius and Night Dweller are then seen at ringside helping Scavenger out while his wife looks somewhat relieved and his sister's reaction is more guarded. The odd collection of men and women then make their way up the ramp while Sal Clemenzo and Shadow are on their feet watching from the middle of the ring. They then resume their fight with one another, eschanging vicious knife edge chops to the chest. Sal then whips Shadow into the corner buckle and then gives him a running knee lift to the gut followed by a double underhook suplex to the middle of the ring where he then delivers an elbow smash to the throat before going for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Shadow. Ricky Simms - Sal is in control here as the match has continued. Henry Lesher - Yeah, now that the side show freak is gone, we can have an actual match. Sal pulls Shadow to his feet and whips him into the corner. He then goes for a shoulder block on Shadow, but Shadow side steps it and then gives Sal a pump handle slam to the mat. Shadow then lands a leg drop across the throat on Sal before he goes for the pin. 1...2... Sal gets a leg on the bottom rope while Cassandra is seen applauding at ringside. Shadow stands Sal up, whips him off the ropes and then gives him a hip toss to the mat and then applies a full Nelson on him. The referee checks for a submission from Sal, but he's unwilling to give up to Shadow's hold. The crowd starts a chant for Sal as he fights to get to his feet and then he backs Shadow into the corner. Once they are against the ropes, the referee demands a break of the hold. Shadow breaks the hold, then picks Sal up and gives him an atomic drop and follows that up with a tilt a whirl backbreaker before going for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Sal Clemenzo. Ricky Simms - Shadow is really taking it to Sal here. Henry Lesher - Well, that's what happens when you face a member of the EVC. Shadow stands Sal up, whips him off the ropes and both men clothesline each other to the mat. The referee starts counting them both down. On the four count, Sal grabs the ropes and starts pulling himself to his feet. He manages to beat the count and then kicks Shadow in the head. Sal follows that up by standing Shadow up and then he whips him over the top rope and out to the floor. Sal then drops and rolls himself out to the floor after Shadow. He stands Shadow up and takes a jawbreaker from Shadow who then rams Sal's face into the steel ring steps. Shadow then rolls Sal back into the ring before he steps up onto the ring apron. Shadow climbs the ropes in the corner and waits for Sal to stand. Shadow goes for a flying body block on Sal, but Sal manages to land a dropkick on the falling Shadow and both men crumble in a heap to the mat. Ricky Simms - Both men are in pain after that move. Henry Lesher - It's amazing what money will make men do inside the ring. Sal Clemenzo slowly gets to his feet and then starts trading punches with Shadow again. Shadow eye gouges Sal and then whips him off the ropes and misses with a clothesline when Sal ducks it. Sal then gives Shadow a facebuster to the mat. Sal then he jumps to the ropes while the fans cheer. Sal then lands the Contract Heat on Shadow and goes for the pin. 1...2...3! Sal Clemenzo wins and gets the money as well as a shot at the title of his choice. Ricky Simms - Impressive win for Sal tonight! Henry Lesher - You have to say that or you'll suffer greatly. That said, I like Sal. I respect Sal. I honor his career choices and personal beliefs. Good win for you, Sal. Sal rolls himself out of the ring to the floor and collects a briefcase which contains his money and an open contract for a shot at the title of his choice. He then embraces Cassandra before they start to make their way up the ramp. Ricky Simms - I can imagine Sal will send a message to whichever title holder he wants inside the ring soon.
Henry Lesher - Probably in a bag. Vancilante - Welcome to my vision of the future. You see, WWE became big by being all about attitude and, by gosh, we had attitude! The thing is, in the days of MMA, readily available porn online and increasingly violent movies and video games, we feel that being PG is where it's at. Dizz leans into the shot. Dizz - What the hell are you doing? Vancilante - We don't say hell anymore, unless you mean that terrible place that people who don't fear God are going. Dizz - Fear God? Vig, did your brain fall out? Vancilante - Who is this Vig you speak of? I am Vancilante McManus! Dizz - I am going to see strippers. Later. Vancilante - I am sure Dizz meant he was going to buy weather stripping. This is PG wrestling, boy howdy and it's the way to go! Our viewers get older and we cater to kids! Heckfire and brimstone, let's see how this works. We see Max Cameron standing inside a wrestling ring, dressed like Steve Austin. He has a skull cap on and a fake goatee, the Stone Cold smirk on his face. Stone Cold Max Austin - If you want to hear what Max Austin has to say, gimme a heck ya! We hear piped in crowd noise of "Heck ya!" Stone Cold Max Austin - I heard that mealy mouthed bad person Vance talking about me. I had to sit down and drink a Coke... and another Coke... and another Coke... and then I thought it over. I thought over what I had to say to Vance tonight. Vance, I got a finger for ya. Max Austin pulls a chicken finger out of his tights and shows it to the camera before throwing it into the empty arena to fans who aren't there. Stone Cold Max Austin - Vance, listen up. Max 316 says I just kicked your tushie. You got that? We return to Vancilante in the studio. Vancilante - See that? The PG Austin loses nothing. Let's go see what The Rock has going on. Moose storms in, shoe polish in his hand. Moose - I am not doing black face. Vancilante - Moose, be cool. This is funny shit. Moose - It's career suicide. I am NOT doing black face. Vancilante - Then just say the lines. Moose Maivia - *rolling his eyes* Finally, The Moose has come back to New York City! You jabronis can leave my ring. You think you're better than The Moose? Take that pride of yours, shine it up real nice, shine it till you see your face in it and then take your pride, turn it sideways and stick it straight up your candy nose! Vancilante - Now, do it with the black face. Moose - Go to hell. Vancilante - Heck, Moose, it's heck now! Moose storms off and Frank Merritt walks in. Frank Merritt - I can't be Jericho. Vancilante - Yes you can. Frank Merritt - I am not going to be Y2Frank for anyone. Vancilante - Put the wig on. Frank Merritt - It's a Bo Peep wig. Vancilante - It's blonde. Frank Merritt - This is why I was always stoned. Frank tosses the wig at Vancilante and storms off. Vancilante - Let's see what D-PG has to say. Dante is wearing a long blonde wig and a T-shirt which reads Triple D inside the ring. Dante - *climbing onto the second rope in the corner facing an empty arena* Are you ready? I said, are you... ready?! Then for the thousands of Christians in attendance and the millions of God fearing children at home, Degeneration PG proudly brings to you the greatest stable in all the wooooorrrrld! "Bad Buttocks" Tommy Purr, "Road Puppy" Eli Ryder, 6Pac.... hey that works and Triple D! And if you ain't down with D-PG, we got two words for ya. Suck candy! Vancilante is seen in the studio applauding. Vancilante - You see? The new PG WWE will be very successful. You can hardly tell the difference. Fans who have stopped watching our show are in the wrong here. We know that family friendly is the way to go. God be with you all! Rated R - Edge stole my gimmick. Vancilante - No, it was creative license. Rated R - And I am not doing the Lita live Monopoly show with Wren. She bites, actually drew blood in rehearsal. Vancilante - We went over this, Ryan. Rated R - I am not doing it.
Vancilante - Fine, I guess we'll finish
this another time! “The Illusionist” by Scar Symmetry plays as Leech makes his way onto the stage and the crowd gives him a rousing ovation. Leech stands on the stage for a moment and then makes his way down the ramp to the ring. He slides under the bottom rope into the ring and looks at the ladder at ringside and then up at the contract hanging from the rafters. He tells the camera that there is no way he will lose tonight, that Max cannot beat him. Leech then goes to the corner buckle and takes a seat on the top rope while his music fades and then we hear "Hell's Bells" by AC/DC and Max Cameron makes his way onto the stage. The crowd also gives him a solid ovation and then he quickly makes his way down the ramp towards what could be his final CWA match. Ricky Simms - The fans are electric for this match up. Henry Lesher - Why not? They get to see max bloodied and beaten to a pulp! Max pulls himself onto the apron as Leech jumps down off the ropes. Leech charges at Max and shoulder blocks him through the ropes and then slingshots his throat off the top rope, sending him crumbling to the floor. Leech then drops and rolls himself out to the floor and starts putting the boots to Max while nearby fans cheer the violence. Leech then reaches under the ring and pulls out a trash can which he then smashes over Max's head. He smashes it over Max's head a second time and then knees him in the gut before landing a home run swing to the head on Max with the can, sending Max back to the floor. Leech then rolls himself into the ring and looks up at the briefcase, nodding his head. Leech rolls himself back out to the floor and grabs the ladder laying against the guard railing. He then slides the ladder into the ring before rolling himself in. He carefully sets the ladder up under the briefcase and then sits on the ladder, arms folded across his chest. Ricky Simms - What the hell is Leech doing? Henry Lesher - He knows Max can't beat him, so he's going to make this last. Leech is having fun out here. Do you deny him his right to fun, Rick? Max gets to his feet and pulls himself into the ring. Leech then grabs him by the hair and then pulls him to the ladder and starts smashing his face into it. Leech then drops Max to the mat, grabs the ladder and places the bottom rung over his throat. Leech stands on the bottom step and mocks a flailing Max. He then snaps his fingers and rolls himself out to the floor. He reaches under the ring and pulls something furry on a rope out. He starts swinging it in the air while laughing towards the camera. Ricky Simms - Please tell me that isn't what I think it is. Henry Lesher - That would appear to be a dead cat. Leech just stole the show. Tell everyone else to go home. Leech rolls himself back into the ring, gets to his feet and starts swinging the dead cat around. Max pulls the ladder off of himself and slowly gets to his feet before Leech starts whipping him with the dead cat. Henry Lesher - He calls that the cat of nine tales. Ricky Simms - I am going to be sick. Henry Lesher - That's the idea. Max puts his hands up to block the dead fur ball shots and then he knees Leech in the gut before raking his eyes along the top rope. He then whips Leech into the corner buckle before he goes to the ladder. He folds the ladder up and then uses it as a battering ram in Leech in the corner, causing the dead cat to fall from Leech's grasp and out to the floor. Max then slams the ladder over the head of Leech before he sets the ladder against Leech's chest. Max then delivers a standing dropkick to the ladder which drives it into Leech. Max then pulls the ladder down to the mat and gives Leech a DDT on it. The camera shows that Leech has been bloodied by that shot and is barely moving as Max goes to the ropes and makes his way to the top. He goes for a five star frog splash onto Leech, but Leech rolls out of the way and max splashes the ladder instead. Ricky Simms - That didn't work out well. Henry Lesher - Max's career is over and Leech is ending it. I can't think of a better way for the event to go. Max grabs at his ribs while Leech uses the ropes to get to his feet. Leech then picks max up and slams him onto the ladder and then Leech rolls himself out to the floor. He reaches under the ring and pulls out a crow bar. Leech smacks the crow bar against the steel ring steps and shows a homicidal glee as he climbs onto the ring apron. Max pulls the feet out from under Leech and pulls him into the ring, then pulls the crow bar from Leech's grasp and starts choking him with it. Leech answers by pulling pepper spray from his tights and spraying max in the eyes with it. Max writhes in pain and rolls right out to the floor in blind pain. Ricky Simms - leech brought the whole arsenal tonight. Henry Lesher - What did you expect? This man has owned Max Cameron and he isn't allowing him to win tonight. Leech rolls himself out to the floor and still has the pepper spray in hand. Max reaches into his tights as Leech stands him up. Max then throws salt into the eyes of Leech which leaves both men blind. Max manages to find the bottom rope and rolls himself into the ring. Leech follows close behind and says he can smell Max, that he doesn't need to see the worst smelling wrestler in history. Leech then hits his mark with a double axe handle smash to the back on Max. Leech then whips max through the ropes and out to the floor. Leech then feels around the ring for the ladder and sets it up, but it's not under the briefcase. The fans shout that it's in the wrong spot and Leech listens. He adjusts the placement of the ladder until he hears the cheers of the crowd while a still blind Max retrieves the dead cat and rolls himself into the ring. Max gets to his feet and swings the dead cat wildly. He does manage to strike Leech in the eye three times, which causes him to fall of the ladder. Leech spits cat fur out and says it still smells better than Max. Ricky Simms - This is gruesome. Henry Lesher - Oh, I love this. I will watch this match every night for the rest of my life. Max grabs Leech and ties the rope around Leech's throat. He then proceeds to hang Leech from the top rope, but Leech snap mares Max right out of the ring before he can finish tying the knot to hold Leech up. They both fall to the floor, the crowd cheering wildly. Leech gets to his feet, the ropes around his neck and the dead cat hanging like a tie at his waist. Max uses the ring steps to get to his feet and gives Leech a knee to the gut as his vision starts to clear a little. He's also fighting blood trickling into his eyes from his forehead. Leech then proceeds to bite the forehead of Max before slamming his head into the ring apron. Max answers by grabbing the dead cat and whipping Leech to the floor. Max then ties the dead cat to the guard railing at ringside and then puts the boots to him. Max reaches under the ring and pulls out a steel chair. He slams it over the head of Leech five times while the fans count the shots. Max then rolls himself into the ring and starts to climb the ladder. Leech frees himself from the guard railing and rolls himself into the ring. Max reaches the top of the ladder and grabs onto the briefcase. Leech pulls the ladder out from under Max and then uses it as a mace to try and bash max down to the mat. He does free Max from up high and he falls to the mat, but he has the briefcase and the referee calls for the bell. Max clutches the briefcase while Leech falls to his knees and then says a few words to the dead cat which we cannot hear. Henry Lesher - What... just happened there? I mean.... that didn't happen. Ricky Simms - Max got his contract! Max beat Leech! Henry Lesher - No, I'm serious. What just happened here? Max clutches the briefcase while Leech rolls himself out to the floor. He is wiping tears away with the dead cat as he makes his way up the ramp. His eye is twitching and he is mumbling. Ricky Simms - Leech doesn't look well. Henry Lesher - My world ended. Max rolls himself out of the ring and heads to the announce table. Henry Lesher - Oh God, no. Ricky Simms - Max must have heard you earlier, Doc. Max grabs Lesher by the scruff of the neck and pulls him up from his chair and then rolls him into the ring. Max grabs the microphone from ring announcer Kathy Smith and then rolls himself into the ring while Lesher signals that he wants a timeout. Max Cameron - Earlier tonight, you said I would not win. You said my career was over. Henry, I want you to live up your word here tonight, for once in your sorry life. He throws the microphone into the chest of Henry Lesher. Lesher's eyes dart from right to left and back to the right again. Henry Lesher - You see, earlier tonight I said some things. I never thought that... I mean.... this doesn't happen. You see, what I meant to say was.... Max Cameron is the greatest.... the greatest.... BasketKase slips into the ring with the dead cat in hand and tackles Max to the mat before Lesher can finish. Henry Lesher - Greatest fool in history! You think I will bow to you, Max? You think that for one moment? He holds the microphone out to BasketKase. BasketKase - MEAT!!!! BasketKase then bites the nose of Max Cameron while Lesher rolls himself out of the ring and then returns to the broadcast position, security rushing out to pry Max and BasketKase apart. Ricky Simms - Just say it. That's all you had to do. Henry Lesher - BasketKase will never let anything happen to me, especially when dead animals are around.
BasketKase rolls out of the ring to the
floor with the dead cat in his mouth and a smile on his face,
mumbling the word "meat" over and over as medics join security
inside the ring checking on Max Cameron. Wyatt Gibson - What the hell was that? The camera pulls back and we see Tony Parizi with Wyatt. Tony Parizi - That was pure money, Wyatt. Wyatt Gibson - Was that a real cat? PETA will burn our houses down. Tony Parizi - PETA kills more cats than they save anyway. Fuck 'em. Wyatt Gibson - How do we follow that match up? Tony Parizi - Oh, this night is nowhere near over, Wyatt. We're going to push the envelope as far as it will go. Wyatt Gibson - That scares me. Tony Parizi - It's 2009. Wake up and smell the dead cat. Wyatt Gibson - I'm not starting my car tonight when I leave the arena. Tony Parizi - Oh, cry me a river. I have been remotely starting my cars for a decade now.
Tony rolls his eyes and leaves Wyatt to
watch Max being carted out of the ring. "Coming Undone" by Korn plays as Tommy Purr, Shadow, Greyson Blaze and Malk make their way down the ramp towards the ring. The four men then all climb onto the apron before they step through the ropes into the ring. Referee Steve Blake calls for the bell. Ricky Simms - Though we understood this was to be a gauntlet style match, Myst has made this a battle royal as she feels it will make for a better match. Henry Lesher - How does Myst know what a good match is? She never wrestled one herself. Shadow and Blaze brawl in the middle of the ring while Malk and Tommy struggle for the upper hand against the ropes. Tommy tries to send Malk over the top rope to the floor, but he gets an eye gouge from Malk instead. Malk then whips Tommy off the ropes and misses with a clothesline when Tommy ducks it and then he gives Malk a lariat to the mat. Shadow whips Blaze into the corner buckle and then gives him a series of shoulder blocks there. Shadow then tries to dump Blaze over the top rope, but Blaze manages to land on the apron and then rams Shadow's head into the corner buckle. Blaze climbs the ropes in the corner as Shadow staggers around the ring. Blaze then gives Shadow a flying dropkick to the chest, sending him down to the mat. Tommy Purr picks Malk up and places him over the ropes, but Malk grabs the ropes and then pulls himself down off of Tommy's shoulder. Malk then gives Tommy a series of forearm upper cuts which drive him to the middle of the ring. Malk then knees Tommy in the gut and then gives him a bulldog to the mat. Ricky Simms - All four men giving it all they have. The winner gets a good chunk of money and a shot at the TV title. Tommy is so obsessed with the TV title that he wants to ensure he would get the next shot if he loses tonight. Henry Lesher - He just knows he's that good. Malk stands Tommy up and tries to whip him over the top, but Tommy stops himself and then whips Malk over the top rope. Malk gets caught between the top and middle rope, his throat choking on them. Shadow then catches Tommy with a series of rights and lefts, backing him into the corner while Greyson pairs off with Malk, trying to free him from the ropes and send him to the floor in one motion. Malk manages to land on the apron and pulls himself under the bottom rope and back into the ring. Shadows whips Tommy to the opposite corner and then charges at him with a shoulder dropped. Tommy brings a knee up to the face of the charging Shadow and then gives him a double under hook suplex right over the top rope and out to the floor. The crowd lets out a cheer. Ricky Simms - Shadow is out and we are down to three! Henry Lesher - Tommy is the man. I told you. Tommy charges across the ring and punts Malk in the chest and then gives Greyson Blaze a series of knife edge chops to the chest which send him into the corner. Tommy then rakes the eyes of Greyson along the top rope before giving him a punch in the throat. Malk then attacks both Greyson and Tommy by slamming their heads together. Malk then picks Tommy up and tries to throw him over the top, but Tommy grabs the top rope and manages to stay in the match. Tommy pulls himself down to the mat and then gives malk a knee to the gut before whipping him over the top rope and down to the floor. The crowd cheers as Tommy then looks Greyson in the eyes. Ricky Simms - It comes down to Purr and Blaze here. Henry Lesher - Blaze would be wise to just eliminate himself here. Blaze and Tommy stand in the middle of the ring and then start a test of strength while Malk is seen pacing at ringside, clearly not happy that he was eliminated from the match. Blaze starts to show signs of taking over the test of strength and Tommy answers with a knee to the gut on Blaze and then whips him into the corner buckle. Tommy then charges into the corner and gives Blaze a series of shoulder blocks while Malk grabs the bottom rope and starts to pull himself onto the ring apron. Tommy gives malk a knife edge chop to the chest which sends him down to the floor and leaves Tommy open for a series of knife edge chops to the throat from Greyson which backs him up to the corner of the ring before Greyson then gives him an inverted atomic drop and then a clothesline to the mat. Greyson then stands Tommy up and goes to the ropes where Malk greets Greyson by tripping him to the mat. Ricky Simms - Someone needs to get Malk out of here. he has snapped. Henry Lesher - Well, that's what happens when you're not very good and you're exposed as mediocre. Security comes to ringside and tries to pry Malk away from the ring. Malk shoves a member of the security team and clothesline another. Greyson and Tommy start trading punches inside the ring. Greyson takes a knee to the gut from Tommy who then picks Greyson up and gives him a power slam to the mat. Tommy then points towards the floor and says that this match is his. He stands Greyson up and whips him over the top rope. Greyson lands on the apron and then gives Tommy a backdrop over the top rope and out to the floor while he loses his balance. Tommy hits the floor maybe a second before Greyson does and the referee calls for the bell. Ricky Simms - Greyson Blaze wins the match, wins a shot at the TV title and a lot more money than he was set to make all year! This is a shocker! Henry Lesher - This is robbery. Greyson's arm is raised and Tommy shakes his head while he heads up the ramp towards the backstage area. Ricky Simms - Tommy and Greyson both have title shots coming up tonight, not sure which one is next, but they will have very little rest.
Henry Lesher - That can be a good thing as
the adrenaline is flowing, though Blaze still sucks. Myst - You know, I am tired of the EVC and you were supposed to stop them. You told me Eternity couldn't beat you. Hammer - He can't. He didn't beat me fair. Myst - You lost. It happens. Hammer - It wasn't a fair fight. I will take Eternity down. Myst - Regardless of your claims, Hammer, you left me no choice. I had to make a move to try and swing the balance of power back in our favor and I wish I hadn't needed to. Hammer - You know I don't care right? Myst - You will, Hammer. Tonight you had the chance to get in my good books and you failed. Wrestlers who fail find themselves in a bad position within this company. Hammer - You might want to talk to people who know me about pissing me off. Myst - You're not going to intimidate me. I'll see you again soon. Watch your back. I doubt anyone else will watch it for you.
Hammer mumbles something under his breath
as Myst exits the shot and he then leaves the building for the
night. "Suicide Messiah" by Black Label Society plays as JC Michaels comes out onto the stage, the TV title raised high above his head. He receives the standard chorus of boos from the crowd and then makes his way down the ramp towards the ring. He rolls himself under the bottom rope into the ring, tossing his title belt to the timekeeper and saying that he will be back for it shortly. He gets to his feet inside the ring and referee Rob Rai attaches one end of the leather strap to his wrist. JC then tests the strength of the leather as his music fades and then we hear "Crazy Bitch" by Buckcherry for the second time in as many matches. Tommy receives a loud ovation as he again comes out onto the stage and he takes a few deep breaths before he runs down the ramp to the ring, then slips under the bottom rope into the ring. The referee then starts to fasten the leather strap to his wrist. Ricky Simms - The rules of this one are simple. Touch the four corners and you win. The strap is legal and this will be violent and bloody if the early action was any indication. Henry Lesher - It's nice to have a match where both wrestlers know how to wrestle. JC and Tommy lock up in the middle of the ring. JC then kicks Tommy in the gut three times before whipping him into the corner buckle. JC then climbs to the second rope and lands a series of punches to the head on Tommy. JC then drops off the ropes and then he gives Tommy an arm drag to the middle of the ring. JC then starts to whip Tommy with the leather strap and the fans wince with every shot. Welts appear on Tommy's back as he cries out in pain. Tommy then reaches back and pulls the feet out from under JC. Tommy then wraps the leather strap around JC's throat and starts choking him with it while the fans cheer. Ricky Simms - This is turning out as brutal as I said it would be. Henry Lesher - It's wrestling Rick, not figure skating. JC battles his way to his feet and then whips Tommy through the ropes and out to the floor. JC then climbs through the ropes and drops to the floor himself. He again starts whipping Tommy with the leather strap. He then grabs the TV title belt from the timekeeper and slams it into the face of Tommy Purr. JC then drops the belt to the floor and sets for a DDT. Instead, Tommy knees JC in the gut and then places JC in a headlock and gives him a DDT onto the belt which draws a huge cheer from the fans. Tommy then stands JC up and rolls him into the ring before doing the same himself. Tommy then picks JC up and slams him to the mat and then gives him a knee drop to the forehead before grinding the leather strap against the forehead on JC Michaels. Ricky Simms - Tommy is trying to bust the champ open here. Henry Lesher - Might as well throw some blood into this. Tommy Purr then stands JC up, whips him off the ropes and then clotheslines him to the mat with the strap itself. Tommy then goes to the corner buckle and makes his way to the top. He leaps off and misses with a knee drop when JC rolls out of the way and Tommy crashes to the mat instead. JC then gets to his feet and focuses on the knee of Tommy Purr, kicking him and placing the leg over the bottom rope before giving him repeated elbows to the knee cap. The referee can only look on as there are no rules in this match. JC stands Tommy up and takes an elbow to the side of the head from Tommy who then gives JC a Rock Bottom to the mat. Tommy then stands JC up and takes a thumb to the eye. JC then picks Tommy up and drops him on the top rope, which slingshots Tommy's neck off the top rope and sends him falling to the mat. Ricky Simms - That looked painful. Henry Lesher - It was painful, but Tommy is a real man and can take it.
JC signals to the crowd that it's over. JC
picks up Tommy and goes for the Samoan Stunner. Tommy slips behind
him and spins JC around. Tommy kicks JC in the gut and then drills
him with the Tommyknocker!!! Tommy signals that it's over and wraps
the strap around JC's throat a few times as he drags him towards the
first corner. Tommy touches the first turnbuckle! JC reaches up and
touches it as well. ***Segment to be completed ASAP***
***awaiting segment from Leech as this is
his send off. If nore received soon, I'll complete it myself*** "Southtown" by POD plays as 6Pac Dudley comes out onto the stage. We see the steel cage being lowered over the ring as 6Pac makes his way down the ramp to the ring. The crowd gives him a mixed reaction as he makes his way onto the stage and then pulls himself into the ring. He tests the strength of the steel mesh of the cage while his music fades and then we hear "Piece of Me" by Britney Spears and Aerial champ Bombshell makes her way onto the stage where the crowd gives her a warm response. Bombshell then quickly makes her way down the ramp, locking eyes with 6Pac Dudley while she hands her title off to the timekeeper and then heads into the cage. She starts trading rights and lefts with Dudley as her music fades and then we hear "My Own Enemy" by Thousand Foot Krutch as Greyson Blaze rushes onto the stage and then runs down the ramp to the cage. He then starts climbing the side of the cage while a baffled referee opens the door and signals to Greyson that's the way in. Ricky Simms - Greyson is taking the hard way into this match. Henry Lesher - He got lucky once tonight and it won't happen again. Of course, look who he's fighting, TweedlePac and TweedleWhore. Greyson reaches the top of the cage and then he proceeds to stand on top of it while referee Steve Blake shakes his head at ringside. Greyson launches himself from the top of the cage and lands a flying cross body on both 6Pac and Bombshell while the bell sounds to officially start the match. Greyson tries to pin 6Pac. 1...2... 6Pac gets a shoulder up. Greyson then tries to pin Bombshell. 1...2... kick out by Bombshell. Greyson then gets to his feet and poses for the fans. They cheer him on as we hear his name being chanted. Greyson then stands 6Pac up and whips him into the corner buckle and charges in for a shoulder block. 6Pac side steps it, picks Greyson up and drops him face first on the turnbuckle. 6Pac then puts the boots to Greyson while Bombshell gets to her feet and then gives 6Pac an inziguri to the back of the head. She then gives 6Pac a side Russian leg sweep to the mat and goes for the pin. 1...2... 6Pac gets a foot on the bottom rope. Ricky Simms - This is a standard cage match in that the winner is the first to get a pin, submission or escape the cage. Henry Lesher - Sadly, there are three almost stars in the match. Ricky Simms - I would say Greyson is a star right now. He won a huge match earlier and now can win his first ever title in the CWA. That would be insane. Henry Lesher - And it would expose the weakness of the roster as a whole. Bombshell stands 6Pac up, then whips him over the top rope to the floor. Bombshell drops and rolls herself out to the floor and then grabs 6Pac by the hair and slams his face into the steel mesh of the cage. Bombshell then runs 6Pac shoulder first into the steel corner post of the ring. Bombshell then gives 6Pac a bulldog to the floor while Greyson rolls himself out to the floor. Greyson gives Bombshell a kick to the back and then rams her head into the ring apron. He then picks her up and slams her onto 6Pac and then stands on her back, crushing them both in the same move. Greyson steps off of her and then rolls her over for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Bombshell on the floor. Greyson then goes for the pin on 6Pac. 1...2... 6Pac reverses it into a small package on Greyson. 1...2... kick out by Greyson. Ricky Simms - Lots of near falls in this one. Henry Lesher - I don't care. Near falls are for losers. 6Pac gets to his feet and stands Greyson up and rolls him into the ring. He then reaches under the ring and pulls out a steel chair. He slides it into the ring and then grabs a second steel chair and keeps it in his hand as he rolls himself into the ring. He picks up the first chair, one in each hand now as Greyson struggles to his feet. 6Pac flails Greyson with both chairs and sends him down to the mat. He then places one under the head of Greyson and sets to drill the other on his head as well. Bombshell slips into the ring and pulls the chair from 6Pac's grip instead, inadvertently helping Greyson in the process. Bombshell then gives 6Pac a swinging neckbreaker to the mat and she goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by 6Pac while Greyson gets to his feet slowly, taking hold of the chair that had been under his head. Ricky Simms - Again, the violence has really been turned up tonight. Henry Lesher - Well, it is the CWA's Wrestlemania and these people seem to understand its importance, even the stupid ones with little or no talent like these three. Greyson clocks 6Pac with the chair and then takes a chair shot from Bombshell. Greyson falls to his hands and knees, losing his grip on the chair in the process. Bombshell then leg drops Greyson across the back of the neck and then goes for an STF on Greyson, looking to make the young star submit. 6Pac slowly gets to his feet, staggering a bit against the ropes. He then turns and kicks Bombshell in the face and then gives her a knee to the back before rolling her into a school boy pin attempt. 1...2... kick out by Bombshell. Greyson then rolls himself out to the floor and then slips under the ring. 6Pac sees this and he slips out to the floor after Greyson. He lifts the ring apron and takes a face full from the fire extinguisher which Greyson found there. He sprays 6Pac in the face and then drills him in the head with the makeshift weapon. Greyson then steps out from under the ring while Bombshell rolls herself out to the floor. She takes a vicious shot with the extinguisher to the gut before Greyson slams her face into the steel ring steps. Ricky Simms - This is insanity. Henry Lesher - It's pure violence which surprises me considering the garbage actually booked in this match. Greyson stands 6Pac up and whips him face first into the steel cage only to take a low blow from Bombshell who then rakes Greyson's forehead along the steel mesh of the cage. Bombshell then gives Greyson a clothesline to the floor and turns her attention back to 6Pac. She reaches under the ring and pulls out a kendo stick. She slams it across the back of 6Pac, but he then gives her a spear into the cage before she crumples to the floor. 6Pac grabs the kendo stick from her grasp and then starts choking her with it, her head pin against the mesh of the cage to prevent her from getting away. Greyson gets to his feet behind 6Pac, a chair now in hand. He then runs at 6Pac and clubs him in the back of the head with the chair, slamming his face into the steel mesh before giving him an inverted DDT to the floor and then he goes for the pin. 1...2... 3! Greyson Blaze gets his second win of the night and is the Aerial champion! Ricky Simms - Greyson won a title shot earlier and now he has won a title. I haven't seen an effort like this from one man since Max Cameron years ago. Henry Lesher - Hey, this guy actually won his matches. Max just shows up and then takes a dead cat to the face. Greyson exits the cage through the door and grabs the Aerial title belt. He starts to make his way up the ramp only to be attacked by The Midnight Rider. The masked man takes Greyson down with a cowbell to the jaw. He then starts striking the kid with the bell which draws boos from the crowd. Ricky Simms - I hadn't counted on the Rider showing up. Henry Lesher - No one ever does. This is great.
The crowd's booing changes to cheers when
they see a man rushing down the ramp to make the save. Eli Ryder
gives Midnight Rider a chair shot across the back and Rider quickly
exits through the crowd on seeing Eli. Eli stands over the fallen
Blaze and holds the chair high while the fans cheer. JC Michaels - What the hell was that? Myst - So, the EVC has control do they? Well, before the Eternity match, I went out and brought back Eli Ryder. I had suspected that Hammer might not be the man for the job, but maybe Eli is. I figure he deserves a second chance and it will piss you guys off. JC Michaels - Eli is nothing. We took care of him before. Myst - Looks like you'll need to take care of him again. Since you'll be in charge, I took the initiative and booked a little tournament of my own creation. JC Michaels - Tournament? Haven't we had enough of those lately? Myst - I agree, but one more won't hurt. Gold is on the line and eight people who need and want gold will get their chance starting next week. Oh, and I plan to be in it. JC Michaels -That's a conflict of interest as you're the owner. Myst - Yeah, but I am not really running the show, so I figure I can let myself off the hook this one time. JC Michaels - You're not going to pull one over on the EVC. Myst - Are you kidding? The more you guys fight to run the show, the more the show is going to run you. JC Michaels - Really? Eternity beat that piece of trash, Hammer, and I kept my TV title tonight. Myst - But there is the big prize still. Moose is truly a legend in this company. Gary Barber is about to find out why that is. JC Michaels - This isn't over. Myst - You're right. It's never over. The CWA is eternal.
JC storms out of the office and we return
to the ring. "Hollow Man" by The Hollow Men plays as Gary Barber makes his way onto the stage. The crowd greets him with boos and he stands on the stage for a few moments and then starts to make his way down the ramp towards the ring. Barber then reaches ringside and looks towards the stage for The Moose. It turns out he's looking the wrong way as Moose emerges through the crowd, climbs over the railing behind Barber and then gives him a clothesline to the back of the head. Referee Steve Blake calls for the bell from the ring and the main event has started. Ricky Simms - The first fall is a street fight and the second fall is a cage match. The third fall, if it is needed, will be a last man standing match. Henry Lesher - It's actually worthy of being the main event tonight. Moose stands Barber up and whips him shoulder first into the guard railing. Moose then gives Barber a pump handle slam to the floor and then goes for the quick pin attempt. 1...2... kick out by Gary Barber. Moose then stands Barber up, and takes a jawbreaker from Barber. Barber then lands a few closed fisted punches to the head on Moose before he picks him up and slams him to the floor. Gary Barber then picks up the ring steps and makes his way back over to Moose. He slams the steps down, but Moose rolls out of the way and then uses the railing to stand himself up. Barber misses with a wild swing of the steps again and Moose dropkicks the steps into the chest of Gary Barber, sending both Barber and the steps flying. Moose then picks up the ring steps and drives them into the ribs of Gary Barber before throwing them aside and then going for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Gary Barber. Ricky Simms - Two of the toughest men in the CWA are showing why they're in the main event here. Henry Lesher - Yeah, this is actually entertaining. If only the guy next to me would shut up. Moose stands Gary Barber up and rolls him into the ring and then rolls himself in as well. Moose then gives Gary Barber a series of knife edge chops to the chest. Barber answers with a knee to the gut on Moose and then gives him a vertical suplex to the mat. Barber then stands Moose up and then picks him up and gives him an over the knee backbreaker before he goes for the pin. 1...2... Moose rolls a shoulder out. Barber then rolls himself out to the floor, pulling Moose with him. Barber slams Moose's head into the guard railing and then gives him a German suplex to the floor. Barber again goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out again by Moose. Ricky Simms - Moose is showing just how tough he is and the fans love him for it. Henry Lesher - Hey, if he had some decent allies, he could be a really dominant champion. Barber stands Moose up and eye gouges him before he slams his head into the steel corner post of the ring. Barber then pulls Moose to the ramp and signals to the crowd that he's set to end this. Moose then kicks Barber in the gut, picks him up and gives him the Moosedriver on the steel ramp before going for the pin. 1...2... Barber rolls a shoulder out and the fans groan, certain that was going to be a three count. Moose then stands Barber up, picks him up a second time and delivers another Moosedriver. He again goes for the pin. 1...2...3! Moose gets the first fall on Gary Barber which draws a loud ovation from the crowd as the cage starts to be lowered to the floor. Ricky Simms - Moose has to get one more pinfall or submission victory in this cage and he can end it early. Henry Lesher - I wouldn't bet on it. Barber won't get pinned twice tonight. Moose manages to get into the ring, dragging Barber with him before the cage has been fully lowered. Once the cage is in place, the referee again calls for the bell and the second fall has begun. Moose immediately picks up Barber and looks for another Moosedriver. Instead, Barber brings himself down and places Moose in a headlock before giving him a DDT to the mat. Barber then goes for the quick pin. 1...2... kick out by Moose. Barber then gets to his feet, still groggy from the two Moosedrivers he took on the floor. Barber places Moose in a headlock. Moose then picks Barber up and gives him an atomic drop and then whips him into the corner buckle. Moose goes for a shoulder block, but finds no one home as Barber side steps it and then he gives Moose a hip toss right over the top rope and out to the floor. Ricky Simms - Moose narrowly missed the steel corner post there on the way down, but he's still hurt. Henry Lesher - I imagine both men will be hurting at the end of this one. There is nothing wrong with that. Gary Barber drops and rolls himself out to the floor and then places Moose in a headlock. Barber then gives Moose a running bulldog to the floor and then rolls him over for the pin attempt. 1...2... Moose gets a shoulder up. Barber then stands Moose up and rolls him into the ring before doing the same himself. He then places Moose's throat over the bottom rope and starts to choke him with it while the fans start a chant for Moose. Barber screams at Moose to submit and tells him that it's over now, that he isn't getting out of the choke. Moose manages to land a series of elbows to the gut on Barber and then snap mares him through the ropes and out to the floor. Moose then slowly gets to his feet, still gasping for air. Ricky Simms - This is getting nasty. Henry Lesher - Of course it is. It will be nasty until the bitter end. Moose dives through the ropes at Barber and they both crumple in a heap to the floor, against the cage. Moose then grates Barber's forehead along the mesh of the cage which draws cheers from the crowd. Moose then stands Barber up and Barber gives him a drop toe hold face first to the cage. Barber then stands Moose up and whips him into the steel mesh of the cage and then gives him a backdrop to the floor. Barber follows that up with a leg drop across the throat of Moose and then he goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Moose and Barber slaps the floor, telling the referee that the count was slow. Ricky Simms - Barber thought that was it. Henry Lesher - Both men are really tough. The only drawback of this match is watching it next to you. Gary Barber stands Moose up, rolls him into the ring and then does the same himself, blood trailing down his forehead. Gary Barber then stands Moose up, whips him off the ropes and gives him a clothesline to the mat. Barber then goes to the corner buckle and climbs to the second rope. He then leaps off and gives Moose a dropkick to the head which drives him down to the mat where Barber again goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Moose. Gary Barber then stands Moose up, whips him into the corner buckle and then misses with a shoulder block when Moose side steps it. Moose then picks Barber up and lands a power bomb on him before going for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Gary Barber. Ricky Simms - Lots of high impact moves and near victories here, but Barber has to get two wins in a row here. Henry Lesher - Barber is man enough to do so against Moose. Moose stands Barber up, whips him off the ropes and Barber ducks a clothesline before giving Moose a backslide into a pin attempt. 1...2... kick out by Moose. Barber then jumps to his feet and waits for Moose to stand. He then picks Moose up and gives him a kneebreaker which sends him back down to the mat. Barber then stands Moose up, whips him off the ropes and gives him an elbow to the gut before picking him up and giving him the Crown of Lead to the mat where he goes for the pin. 1...2...3! Gary Barber wins the second fall in this match! Ricky Simms - Wow, high impact finisher by Barber and now it's a draw. The third fall starts now. Henry Lesher - I said Barber wouldn't get pinned twice and he won't. Now we get to the really brutal part of this match. The cage is raised and the referee calls for the bell to start the third fall. Gary Barber then pulls Moose to the ropes and boot chokes him, using the ropes for added leverage. Moose manages to push Barber's foot off his throat and then rolls himself out to the floor, again gasping for air. Barber drops and rolls himself out of the ring to the floor and then starts drilling Moose across the back with repeated punches and kicks while the fans start another chant for Moose. Barber dumps Moose over the guard railing and into the crowd. Barber then climbs onto the railing and then gives Moose a double axe handle smash to the chest followed by a spear to the floor. The referee starts counting Moose down while Barber shouts at him to just stay down. moose gets to his hands and knees by the four count and Barber kicks him in the gut, breaking the count in the process. Ricky Simms - These guys are showing how far they will go to be the champ in the CWA. Henry Lesher - Well, anyone who has followed either of these men's careers will not be surprised in the slightest. Barber pulls Moose to his feet and takes a punch to the throat from Moose. Moose then gives Barber a headbutt, then picks up a steel chair from a fan and slams it over the head of Gary Barber. Moose slams it across the head of Gary Barber five times and Barber finally falls to the floor where the referee starts to count the man down. Moose continues to hold onto the chair and now he's telling Barber just to stay down and save himself further punishment. Barber slowly gets to his hands and knees and Moose drills the chair across his back. Moose then drags Barber by the arms up the aisle to the back of the arena, the fans going wild as he passes them by. Ricky Simms - What is Moose planning here? Henry Lesher - I don't know how long either of these guys can go with this kind of violence level. I hope it lasts for hours, though. This makes up for the diva garbage at the start of the show. Moose reaches the concessions stand and then he stands Barber up and then runs his face into the glass case at the popcorn stand. The glass cracks, but it does not break. Gary Barber then thumbs Moose in the eye and then slams his face into the glass case. The glass breaks and popcorn is all over the floor, mixed with the blood of these warriors who are both now down on one knee. Moose grabs a handful of popcorn and jams it into the mouth of Barber. Barber gouges the bloodied forehead of Moose in response. Barber then gives Moose an angle slam to the floor and both men are down, causing the referee to start counting. Ricky Simms - What is neither man can answer the count? Henry Lesher - Then the night is over and I can be happy that I saw a couple of really good matches and a dead cat. Both men get to their hands and knees at the five count and both are on their feet at the seven count. They start trading punches and then Barber whips Moose into the T-shirt stand, sending various shirts flying all over and a cascade of black cotton envelops the defending champ. Barber then takes an EVC T-shirt and starts choking Moose out with it, Barber still spitting popcorn onto the floor. Moose falls to one knee, but his fists and clenched and he quickly gets back to both feet. He then picks Barber up and gives him a sidewalk slam onto the table at the T-shirt stand. Barber rolls off the table onto the floor, clutching at his back. Ricky Simms - That's a solid table, no give there. Henry Lesher - Barber's back is going to be worse than Shawn Michaels' by the end of this. Ricky Simms - I don't think either man will be in good shape at all. Moose stands over Barber while the referee again administers the count. Barber uses the T-shirt stand to pull himself to his feet before the ten count. Moose greets him by stuffing a T-shirt in his mouth, one that appears to have a Boomshakalaka mask on it and is marked down to fifty cents. Moose tells him to choke on the suckage and then gives him a bulldog to the floor. Moose again stands over Barber and the referee starts the count over again. Barber rolls away from Moose, spitting the T-shirt onto the floor. Barber then starts to pull himself to his feet and Moose places him in a headlock and then heads for the door that leads outside. Moose kicks the door open and pulls Barber out into the cold night air. Ricky Simms - This is where it gets insanely dangerous. Henry Lesher - I love it. Moose pulls Barber over to a white Porsche and slams his face into the hood of the car. Barber then gives Moose a knee to the gut before slamming his head into the hood of the car. Barber then pulls himself onto the hood of the car and then drags Moose onto the hood with him. Barber gets to his feet, then picks Moose up and power bombs him on the hood of the car. Both men lie on the hood of the car for a few moments before Barber rolls himself to the ground again. The referee is counting Moose down while a loud Moose chant can be heard from the arena. Ricky Simms - We have a new champ. There is no way Moose gets up from that. Henry Lesher - I would agree, but it is Moose. Moose picks his head up and slowly pulls himself off the hood of the car, managing to land on his shaky feet before the referee can reach the ten count needed to give Barber the title. Barber shakes his head incredulously and then places Moose in a headlock, setting for a DDT to the pavement that will surely end this. Moose then ducks and gives Barber a backdrop onto the hood of the Porsche. Moose then starts to make his way back to the door leading to the arena while the referee counts Gary Barber down. Barber, much like Moose did moments earlier, manages to roll himself onto his shaky feet before the ten count and then he follows Moose towards the arena, though both men are running at half speed now. Moose is in the door first and then he waits inside the doorway for Barber. Barber reaches the doorway and Moose goes for a trip on him, but Barber anticipates the move and thumbs Moose in the eye before slamming his face into the wall. He then picks Moose up and slams him to the floor before trying to slam the steel door on his head. Moose manages to roll out of the way a moment before the door slams. Ricky Simms - My God, that could have killed him! Henry Lesher - They are both getting frustrated at their inability to finish the enemy off here. Barber stands Moose up and then runs towards a concrete support beam. Moose stops his forward momentum and then slams Barber's head into the support beam. Moose then picks him up for a slam to the floor, but Barber struggles his way out of it, headlocks Moose and Moose manages to headlock him and then they both drop, sending each other face first to the floor. The crowd starts a "Holy shit" chant while the referee starts to count. Ricky Simms - They just gave each other simultaneous DDTs. I have never seen two faces driven into the pavement like that. This is insanity. Henry Lesher - It's the best kind of insanity. I love this. The referee reaches a five count and Barber gets to his hands and knees, the same as Moose. On the nine count, Moose shakily gets to his feet and a moment later, so does Barber. The referee calls for the bell and raises the arm of Moose. Barber sees this and clotheslines both Moose and the referee to the floor. Ricky Simms - Moose has retained the title! Henry Lesher - Barber lost the battle, but he is looking to win the war here. Gary Barber pulls Moose over to the T-shirt stand and slams his face into the table and then he pulls himself onto it, dragging Moose with him. Gary Barber then picks Moose up and appears to be going for a piledriver onto the solid oak table, but security rushes out and tackle both men to the floor. Ricky Simms - My God, Barber was trying to end Moose's career there! If he had hit that move... Henry Lesher - I love Gary Barber. Such a pure love of violence was shown by both men tonight. Moose and Gary Barber are still clawing at each other while the fans cheer the announcement that The Moose is still the CWA champion. They are also tossing security team members aside like flies in order to get at one another. Ricky Simms - They might be fighting straight until next week's Overdrive! Henry Lesher - I would certainly hope so. Ricky Simms - Well, fans, thanks for watching Battle of the Warriors and tune in next week to see where everything goes from here. What a show! We fade to black on the CWA logo superimposed over Barber and Moose still fighting on the floor in a mountain of CWA merchandise. |
Thanks for watching...
